Chloe was a tiny bit surprised at his way of warning her about a possible comeback for the pillow she threw at him. Or rather, instead of surprised, just simply embarrassed with what he could say and how easily he exposed his upper half of the body. Dream or not, even if she seemed to have already seen his entire body in the nude, this was still something she couldn't get accustomed to. Besides, how was she supposed to react as his eyes trailed her body in a sort of lewd way, aside from the usual redness creeping to her cheeks? He had no idea how flustered and how much these mere gestures of his would make her feel tingly inside. It almost didn't feel very fair as he was able to keep his cool most of the time, while she could barely refrain from getting red as a tomato with every attempt of his to flirt with her. But, she could probably return the favor somewhere later, right? Maybe she just had to try harder. Either way, she'd still have to wait until he broke up with Charlotte.
On the other hand, it was pretty obvious he was showing off his body on purpose. Not that she felt disgusted. In fact, if it wasn't for her shyer side, she would have stared at him as he took that shirt off. And just as she decided to sneak a quick peak, the shirt landed on her face, blocking her view. Clutching the cloth in her hand and moving it away from her eyes, she finally got a good luck and then quickly averted her eyes at his statement. Of course she saw his body when they were kids, but at that time, they were what they were. Just kids. Now, he was a grown up man with a body worth of modelling indeed. "This and that are different. You don't see me wearing those frilly dresses which more than half of the times showed my bottom whenever I would bend down, right? So, do take into account that there's still a lady here and undress in the bathroom. Or at least, warn me." she pointed out.
As she noticed his reluctance of even mentioning Jared's name, Chloe felt like she had to talk about it, but refrained as she reminded herself that she couldn't ruin the mood again, and besides, it was in vain to explain the situation once again. However, what really made her frown was the way he viewed a break up. Yep, he had no idea how to treat a woman at times. Or was it just his ignorance towards other women? Nevertheless, the fact that he never did this before meant he either had no other previous girlfriends before Charlotte... either he never did the breaking up. "You can't just tell her it's over and then simply walk away, you do know that, right? I hope that wasn't a 'literally' thing." she scolded, before he said something which kind of bugged her. Talking as if his relationship with Charlotte wasn't her business. Sure, it was the truth, but it kind of stung. "I see..." she mumbled and nodded as if to say that he could go back to what he was doing, before she turned around and slowly sipped on her orange juice.
