Unbreakable Ties (Ookami & Sumi)

Chloe wasn't sure if he was really clueless about it, or just made fun of her, because it seemed too good to be true if he actually had some vague recollection of the memories she had. And from the looks of his face, he did seem a little confused by what was going on. Of course it didn't make sense to him. But to her, it did. Well, more or less, because she still had to figure it out how this worked. The more he spilled out, the more she got hopeful. No, he wasn't mistaking her for someone else. It really was her who he went to see there. In a way, this really was strange, to be attracted to a place where something was supposed to happen. It just had to have some sort of connection with that time they went there.

"No, we didn't. You just said the shop was opened recently. We just reunited a day ago." she added, somehow wondering if to shut up now or try to press on this subject. But what if he'd lose his trust again? Then again, would he really stop trusting her so easily? It was obvious she was the real Chloe, the looks, the behavior, the personality, the fact that she did know everything he was talking about regarding the past. Could he really push her away again?

"What... what exactly do you feel whenever you go there?" she questioned, deciding to make sure that it really wasn't a mistake. "I don't want to look like a weirdo right now, but let's say it's plainly my curiosity." she added quickly, in case he would feel any suspicion. Honestly, her heart started to beat faster, waiting an answer impatiently, feeling almost like she found a piece to complete the jigsaw in her mind. Maybe there were more to it, but this was a start, and the fact that Trent showed signs like these, meant she was no lunatic person. That death was no dream.

Trent knew that he wasn’t making any sense, but there wasn’t any better way to put it. Something inside him had made go there, he was sure of that now. But if he’d gone there to see Chloe, what had made him think that he’d be able to meet his supposedly deceased sister there? At first he thought he might have seen someone there that resembled Chloe, perhaps even one of the waitresses. But when he tried to imagine any faces that matched his suspicions, he kept imaging Chloe sitting infront of him, happily eating away. The imagery being cut short as a sharp shock of pain shot through his temples, causing him to grunt in pain and roughly grab Chloe before shoving her against his chest.

She was right of course, the shop had been opened less than a year ago, and less than 24 hours ago he’d been adamantly certain that Chloe was dead. So the possibility of it being a warped memory of their childhood made no sense, but at the same time it wasn’t like he could have mistaken that innocent smile for someone else. “I don’t…. know” he groaned, his breathing picking up once more, though this time his reaction wasn’t from pleasure at all. “Relaxed?” he answered, immediately realizing that he didn’t find the place to be relaxing at all. “No, that’s not it, Guilt? Anger? Regret?” he asked trying to place a name on the strange emotion. The only thing he could be certain of was that it wasn’t a pleasant feeling.

Reaching up and curling his fingers into her hair, he began stroking the long black strands to calm himself down. The silky texture of her hair soothing his mind enough for him to realize something. “I…. it wasn’t you…?” he stated not sounding too sure of himself. “It, wasn’t, there’s no way we could have gone there together, and the girl I went with…. Or the girl I think I went with had shorter hair…. Yeah, I must be thinking of someone else”.

Guilt, anger, regret... if she was to think of the events which took place there, their fight and the way they parted ways at that time, it did make sense. Which actually reminded her... so he did feel a little guilty at that time for what he said to her. She shook her head, scolding herself mentally. This wasn't the point. What really mattered was that he did have some memories left of what happened. Maybe not as vivid as hers, but that was enough too. From the looks of it, he seemed to have some trouble with remembering more, almost as if something stopped him from recalling too much. It was indeed a shame, but for the beginning she could at least maybe bring up the subject she tried to keep to herself. Not Jared, but the matter regarding the parallel words so to speak.

A certain look of disappoinment showed on her face as he mentioned that it wasn't her, only to look at him with a shocked expression as he corrected himself and told her the girl had short hair. He did remember! Happy to no end, she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly with a big smile on her face. "Thank goodness! I'm so damn happy I could even do the craziest thing right now!" she exclaimed, before giving him a quick kiss on the lips. Pulling back a little with an apologetic smile, she let him breathe. "Sorry. Went with the flow." she mumbled embarrassed.

Taking a deep breath herself, she tried to put her thoughts in order. "Alright. Do you trust me enough to hear a sort of weird unusual story? Given that you yourself have noticed something is wrong, maybe this time you'll get what I'm saying." she suggested, somewhat nervous in case he would think she's some lunatic fan of his again. "However, I'm only going to talk if you don't jump to conclusions too soon." she added, the expression on her face showing she wasn't joking around but required his attention.

Trent wasn’t sure if he was remembering something or simply making things up on the fly. He wasn’t lying, but he wasn’t certain he was telling the truth either. If Chloe laughed at him and told him he was probably recalling a dream or something he’d had he’d probably laugh it off and be able to agree, but unfortunately Chloe wasn’t going to dismiss his insane ramblings that easily, on the contrary she seemed awfully pleased with his remark, her hands wrapping around his neck and pulling him a quick peck on the lips. His eyes opening wide in disbelief as she pulled away, blushing a bit as she apologized for her actions. Trent however had gone a bit pale, his eyes not leaving her even after she’d pulled away. It took a few seconds before his mind came online. A brief moment of hesitance before he roughly pulled her towards him again, mashing his lips against hers almost desperately. It wasn’t lust that fueled him this time though. His hold on her tight and unwavering as he held her in place for a bit, eventually pulling away with a relieved look on his face.

“Must have been my imagination….” He mumbled to himself, releasing Chloe from his embrace completely to trace the back of his finger over his own lips. The blissful atmosphere they’d experienced completely gone now, Trent seeming more spooked now than confused. His body shifting away from Chloe and his legs dangling over the far side of the bed with his back turned to Chloe.

“Chloe… lets not” he murmured, his voice so soft that it could have been mistaken for a breathe. “You’ve got nothing to gain from what you’re trying to do, you’ve got me now. I’ll stay with you forever…. Is that not enough?” he asked. “You can call me crazy all you want, but I get the feeling I’m not supposed to remember what you’re trying to tell me…. Go ahead, laugh…. But after you’re done, can we leave this topic alone?”

Chloe did expect a little of a surprised expression on his face, but looking like he was totally shocked made her realize it was probably a bad idea to bring that up. Surely she managed to freak him out now. However, when he suddenly pulled her into a kiss he totally freaked her out. As much as she didn't mind a surprise kiss, the fact that he tightened his hold on her made her wonder what was going on in his head. Did he think she was going crazy and that a kiss would help, or something? The brunette blinked, puzzled at his behavior and at the relieved look on his face as if he realized everything was alright. On the other hand, his mumbling wasn't any helpful either. His imagination? Maybe he did get the wrong idea.

Just as she wanted to open her mouth and talk with him, he was moving away from her, a disappointed expression forming on her face. She was aware the subject was something that couldn't be taken seriously, but it seemed like for Trent it was something else entirely. As if it scared him for some reason. She couldn't understand why, though, and it bothered her to be unable to talk with him openly. In fact, it seemed like there was always something stopping them from talking openly. It was either secrets, either the fear of judgment from the other partner.

Lips parted and eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he assured her that she had nothing to gain from this. She wasn't sure if he really trusted her to be his real sister, or he simply wanted to believe that she was the real Chloe so he wouldn't be that miserable again, at this point. Swallowing dryly as she closed her mouth, she grabbed the discarded shirt left on the side earlier, covering herself with it for the time being. And then, blue eyes drifted towards his back once again. She couldn't laugh at this. She couldn't laugh, because this wasn't something fictive. It was something real. At least for her, anyway. And if he wasn't supposed to remember, why would that be?

"Alright... I'm sorry, we won't talk about this again." she murmured, crawling towards him to rest her forehead against his back. For now she would just shut up about the matter. Besides, there had to be other ways of figuring things out, and seeing him upset, anxious or angry wasn't something she wished for. Moreover, there was this nagging feeling that time was more precious than she was thinking, and it was a good idea to spend it wisely, enjoying every moment by her brother's side now that they were back together. "Speaking of which... you still don't feel that confident that I'm Chloe. Am I right?" she questioned, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Shall I remind you the time I gave you a peck on your birthday and you blushed so much that you looked like a lobster?" she added with a sneaky smile as she slipped her arms away from his waist and instead wrapped around his neck, sticking her cheek to his own as she looked at him from the corners of her eyes. "It's futile to deny it. I saw it with my eyes after I went to hide behind the couch. You were so hilariously adorable now that I remember it. You were so surprised you didn't even go to find me after I ran away to hide." she added with a chuckle. "I don't think you ever told anyone else something so embarrassing, did you?" she pointed out to prove him that there was no doubt she was his little sister.

There was something awfully strange about the topic Chloe had brought up. For starters it didn’t make any sense, and the way Chloe seemed to read into his memories was disturbing to say the least, but there was more to it than just simple discomfort. Trent hadn’t wanted to talk about Jared of Charlotte either, but his reasoning for those had simply been an unwillingness to think about people he didn’t want to think about. The chocolate cake though, the short dark haired girl he’d spent time with at the little café…. They were different, a cold unpleasant chill spreading through his body, being sexually intimate with his sister was taboo, and that had added to the sexual intensity of the moment not too long ago. But trying to uncover what Chloe had mentioned seemed even more taboo, and there wasn’t any enjoyment that could be earned from prying into the matter.

Shivering slightly, his body felt awfully cold, the temperature of the room hadn’t changed, it’d probably gotten warmer as time ticked slowly towards midday, but no matter how hard he tried to calm himself down, the nasty chill wouldn’t disappear. Gnawing on his lip nervously as he suddenly realized he’d felt this way once before. A long time ago when he’d been told for the first time by his father that Chloe had died. It had been a completely different feeling to when their mother had died. Of course Trent had been upset. But back then he’d been stubborn in his belief that boys weren’t allowed to cry. And more importantly, he didn’t want Chloe to catch on to his sense of loss. He had to be strong and reliable, and taking care of Chloe had been just as much for his own sake as it had been for Chloe. His loneliness and longing for motherly attention completely absent when he was taking care of Chloe.

His attention was dragged back to the present as he heard Chloe’s apology, Trent had loved feeling her warmth, but he’d never been as appreciative of it as much as he was now. The creepy chill being melted away by his sisters embrace. Her small hands seeming much stronger and reliable than they actually were. He smiled dryly at her question, shaking his head slightly before placing his hand over hers, listening quietly as she mentioned the exact scene he’d pictured in his mind not too long ago.

“Honestly…. If I didn’t believe you were really my sister I would have done… what we just did with you” he smirked, rubbing his fingers over hers affectionately. “And according to my memory, you’re the one that was as red as a lobster” he smiled a bit more, feeling a lot better as warmth radiated from both behind and within him. “Plus, I knew you were hiding behind the couch, I just…. Didn’t want to see you then, I sort of had to take care of a certain part of my body that reacted pretty energetically to you” he teased, turning his head slightly and pecking her on the cheek. Rubbing his cheek against her soft ones.

Chloe was glad that he was back to smiling and even grateful for hearing one of those usual sly remarks of his, feeling assured that Trent was still the same older brother she knew. Well, theoretically, since in reality, Trent surely changed a whole lot in the past ten years they were apart. He wasn't the same innocent little boy that did everything for her just so he wouldn't make her cry. Not that she minded. In fact, she was alright with him being a little bolder and having his own different opinion, even if their opposite ideas would sometimes lead to argues. As for how lewd he was at times, she couldn't really complain about it, given that recently she found out she was probably just as perverted as him. Maybe this trait ran in the family. No wonder their father would be this grouchy without a wife. Maybe he was sexually frustrated. The brunette shook her head at her own weird thoughts about her own parent. This must have been the most disgusting thing she ever thought of. No way she was going to ponder if their father missed their mother because of such a reason. Especially because the old man did start acting pretty weird in the last couple of years, being more stricter about where she could go out and with who. He would make a ruckus if he would see her with a guy.

Leaving that matter aside, it was only normal for Trent to change over time, because anyone would change in ten years whether they wanted or not, depending on the events taking place in their lives. That said, Chloe wasn't sure whether to embarrassed because he did remember she was just as red at that time or because of his naughty suggestion, her cheeks turning a slight pink nevertheless. "Liar. My older brother at that time wouldn't think of a kiss as something lewd." she pointed out, confident that it wasn't until he was kicked out by their father that he was corrupted, so to speak.

Lips curving into a smile as he kissed her cheek and rubbed his cheek against hers, she tightened her hold for a short little moment, happy to be close to him. It felt so nice to enjoy the moment and simply forget about all the problems she had, because she did have some things which needed her attention. She had to somehow make Jared and Trent make up and be friends again, to clear up the misunderstandings, to find more about what was going on with her death and the parallel world and think of what she was going to do with her father, since she couldn't really hide forever.

"You don't have to work these days at all?" she questioned curiously, before a bright blush spread on her face as her stomach growled all of a sudden. It seemed like this was always happening to her, just at the moments when the silence would dominate the room. "I... uh... I think I'm a little hungry." she admitted, somewhat ashamed.

Trent smirked smugly back at her comment, ”Hmm? Lewd? What are you talking about?” he asked in mock surprise raising an eyebrow. “Wouldn’t you react the same way if the guy of your dreams suddenly kissed you out of seemingly nowhere?” he paused letting his question sink in. “I mean it was like my heart was set to overdrive, good thing I had ample time to calm it down else I probably would have done something really stupid” he teased, the triumphant look on his face indicative of how he’d intentionally led Chloe into that trap. It was only natural for her to think that was after what they’d just done, and in all honesty, as much as Trent loved the innocently naïve cute sister in his memories, his obsessional love was fast transferring to the perverted, easily flustered sister that had her arms wrapped around him.

“Tch, don’t remind me” he mumbled not looking too happy, though this time he didn’t seem upset, and was just reacting negatively to the thought of having to work. His lips frowning to form a bitter look, “I’ve actually got three photoshoots tomorrow, normally I’d just cancel everything and kick back and relax, but I guess I can’t do that anymore seeing as I have to provide for two now” he smiled, lifting his arm up and around Chloe’s head before wrapping it around her shoulders. “To be honest my bank accounts near empty after I bought this place, but I should still have enough to support the two of us until my next payment as long as we don’t splurge on any unnecessary expenses” he joked, glancing around the needlessly lavish room.

Releasing Chloe and reaching for his jeans, Trent finally got off the bed, the loss of physical contact heartbreaking but necessary. He quickly slipped on his jeans before pointing Chloe to the showers. “You should get cleaned up…. Alone this time, as much as I’d love to join you, someone needs to make us lunch. Plus, if I joined you we wouldn’t be eating until well past dinner time.” He chuckled placing a gentle hand on her head, intending to ruffle her hair up the way he’d usually done when they were kids. Only to pause, reconsider and slide his hand down the side of Chloe’s face, cupping her cheek before leaning down and pecking her lightly on the lips.

Chloe let out an "Eh?" as he faked innocence and seemed to have apparently no idea about what she was talking about, as if what she was thinking of was something so normal for a kid. Then, when he did clear up the misunderstanding, she concluded that it was a better idea to shut up, given how much nonsense and lewdness could her brain think of. Now of all times she felt so embarrassed at her own imagination that she felt like hiding away her apple colored face in shame. "S-something stupid as in... something perverted, right?" she added as a comeback, as if to point out that he was still just as much of a pervert as she was. "You're not fooling me. I know you were thinking of something lecherous again." she concluded, trying to save her face as she put some of the blame on him as well.

The news that he would be away the next day because he had a lot of work wasn't really what she was looking forward to hear. Here they were together again, yet they couldn't spend enough time because he had those photoshoots. Sure, she was grateful that he was being paid for that, but adding to the fact that she would have to waste time by herself while he was busy, there would also be the possibility that he'd be surrounded by all those pretty women during the shoots, a thought that made her scowl inadvertently as he explained that he still needed to go to work because they needed the money. She would have offered to work as well, but she figured that wasn't a wise choice, both because Trent would most likely reject her idea and because she had other things to do. "If it makes it any easier, I'll let you know I eat very little. So, you could just skip a photoshoot or two. Or maybe three?" she added, batting her eyelashes in a pleading way.

A tiny bit disappointed as he left her side and was directed to the showers, she gave a sigh and shook her head with a slight blush at his joke regarding what would happen if he joined her. Once he placed a hand on her head, however, she looked up at him for a short moment almost seeing the little Trent that would often spoil her and ruffle her hair, like she was his most beloved sister. Then again, she had to remind herself that the present was slightly different from the past, the little boy now being just as tall as their father, maybe even taller, no more the same frail boy but a man in all senses. As soon as she felt his lips on hers, her hands reached his cheeks, cupping them in an attempt to hold on to the kiss a little bit longer. A small smile crossed her lips after she let go, and then she finally got up to walk towards the bathroom, only to stop just before entering. "Don't burn the kitchen in the meanwhile." she snickered and then disappeared into the bathroom.

When wasn’t Trent thinking lecherous things about his sister? He didn’t want her to think that he only wanted her for the sex, but while she had made herself look a bit more presentable, she still looked like she’d been ravaged only moments ago, and the way she blushed and looked at him didn’t help Trent calm his lecherous mind. And it had either been a choice between a kiss, and pushing her over for something more. He’d only intended to kiss her briefly, a slight peck on the cheek before swiftly withdrawing himself and shuffling off. His plan though was swiftly crushed by her soft hand reaching up to touch his cheek as well, her lips welcoming the action. Before breaking off and making a quick joke before she moved off.

His mind told him to stop, but his body had already been charmed by the sweet taste of her lips. He wasted no time following her into the bathroom, half sprinting after her before grabbing her shoulder and spinning her around, hooking a finger under her chin and pulling her forward before pressing his lips against her once more, this time more deeply. The thought of kissing someone who’d been sucking his cock not too long ago should have been disturbing, on the contrary though the fact that he could taste a slight bitterness which he assumed was his seed in her mouth only reminded him that Chloe really did belong to him now.

He sweetly lick at her lips, his tongue travelling no further inside her than her teeth, his face was probably way to close for Chloe to notice, but he really did look happy right now. The same look he’d worn back when they were kids and Chloe would call his name. Obviously there were times when it’d been annoying. But Trent was confident he could count those times on one hand, and his mood quickly improved to its usual state of bliss when he realized he was the only person Chloe could depend on. His childish mind adamant in its belief that Chloe and him were meant to be together forever.

Sliding his other hand over her shoulder and behind her head, he gently tugged her closer to him, preventing her from moving her head, his lips breaking away from the kiss momentarily, before he tipped his head to the side a bit more to get better access to her, his tongue thrusting into her mouth without hesitation this time, roughly stroking against Chloe’s tongue with his own slick tongue. His hungry mouth sucking on her lips needily while he continued to lash his tongue around inside her. His voice making a happy moan as he pressed her into him. His hand pressing into the back of her head, while also caressing her long black hair.

He only broke the kiss when he noticed Chloe struggling a bit, obviously needing a fresh breathe of air, Trent could go for a bit longer, but it wasn’t like this would be their last kiss, and with that assurance he slowly pulled away, smiling weakly. His gentle hands caressing her cheek once before pulling away “Sorry, couldn’t resist” he whispered not all apologetic, taking a reluctant step back figuring he probably shouldn’t stay around Chloe any longer.

Chloe frowned slightly as she didn't hear the door closing behind her, even though she was sure she pushed it just a moment ago, only to suddenly be grabbed by the shoulder and almost lose her balance as the red head spun her around. Then, before she knew it, she was pulled towards him, his lips crashing on hers. Needless to say that Chloe was surprised at the sudden kiss and even more so at the fact that he didn't even give her a choice to pull away for a mere second. Not that she intended to actually push him aside. While at the very beginning she was surely reluctant when it came to being intimate with her own brother, at this point she didn't even care about the blood ties, being all of a sudden all for kissing him and showering him with love so she could receive the same from him.

That being said, it was no wonder she didn't fight him that much as he tasted her lips, slipping some soft moans once she could feel the warmth of his body again, along with the warm and wet lips and tongue. As light headed as she was, she completely forgot that some moments ago her mouth was sucking so eagerly on his cock, else she would have stopped him right then and there, figuring that it would be somewhat unpleasant for him. Thankfully, though, he didn't seem to care about that, either he simply didn't notice that yet.

A shiver ran up her spine as his tongue tickled her lips, inadvertently parting them as if to give him access to her mouth. It would have been a big fat lie if she said she didn't enjoy whatever he was doing to her, the pair of blue eyes looking up with love and adoration as he pulled her closer to his body, feeling every inch of his bare chest, something which only managed to tease her. Or rather, he was a total tease. She didn't intend to tempt him earlier, but he was obviously urging her to crave for more. He could say anything, but she knew that even without his own will, he was tempting her. Maybe it was just the fact that she was again a virgin and needed to know that he was her first, maybe it was just the lust taking over her mind, maybe it was both, but she found it so hard to refrain from begging for more at the moment.

It was because of this, that her face was flushed and her breath was heavier. Of course, those two reactions were normal after such a passionate kiss, but her eyes showed something else entirely, hands taking a hold of his arms to somehow sustain her weight properly. His apology didn't work with her, neither did his smile. She was torn between using her brain or her inner desire to make a decision. Thus, looking him in the eyes, she took another quick breath. "Oh, surely you'll feel sorry... You either get out right now and let me cool my head while you prepare that lunch, either you continue what you started instead of teasing me that badly." she stated, looking pretty serious in spite of her messy appearance, and then went silent for a couple of moments.

When the realization hit her, along with the embarrassment of what she was blurting out, she hesitated a little and then frowned slightly, eyes looking down at her feet in shame. Though that didn't stop her mouth from talking. "A-after all, how do you expect me to be calm when you're half naked and you're kissing me like that?" she added in her defense.

“You know, you really are begging for it” he chuckled as he reached up, and gently slid his hand in raven hair and brought it over her shoulder. “Not much of a choice seeing as your second option is something I desperately want” he added, lifting the same strand and placing a soft kiss on her silky strands. “I guess you’re right though, I really should stop messing around with you and make you mine” he whispered, his hand slithering up her hair and over her ear before finally coming to rest on her cheek. Unlike Chloe who seemed quite flustered, Trent was completely calm, almost serene as he stood there, holding her in place and gazing into her beautiful blue eyes.

“Though you have to admit that it’s not entirely my fault. I keep telling myself that I need to wait until I properly end it with the other woman, but every time I see you I’m overcome with an urge to hold you in my arms….. to make sure that this really isn’t a dream, and that you’re really here.” Caressing her cheek Trent continued to stare into her eyes, his expression relaxing a bit to show the concern and worry that he was so desperately trying to mask.

“Chloe” he whispered, sliding his other hand beneath her arm and around her back before pulling her into his bare chest. Immediately burying his face into her hair and closing his eyes to enjoy the warmth of her body. His breathing unusually steady, as he didn’t seem all aroused and sexual as he usually did. On the contrary sex seemed to be one of the furthest things from his mind despite his actions. His hand once again sliding around the back of her head and pulling her head against his chest, Chloe could undoubtedly hear how hard and fast his heart was pumping. His body still pretty warm and comfortable as he held her still. Not making any further moves besides the gentle stroking of the back of her head.

“I never got the chance to thank you for stealing my first kiss” he whispered quietly, his tone neither playful or accusing. “I always knew you’d grow into a beautiful girl, but I always thought you’d find some bratty punk your own age and disappear on me…. At one stage I figured I’d be willing to give you up if that’s what you wanted….. no matter who you chose, I knew I’d always have your first kiss…. I never thought I’d be the one to betray you first.” He murmured genuinely sounding guilty.

“I’ve shown off my body to way too many women, and even tainted myself by sleeping with one of them…. But my heart’s always been yours, and always will be. And no matter how dirty my body’s become, these lips too have always been yours. I know it sounds silly considering the other things I’ve done, but I hated the idea of overriding your kiss with someone else, in a sense you’re the main reason Charlotte probably got sick of me. I mean, would you be happy with a boyfriend who refused to touch you with his lips?”

A shiver ran down her spine as he admitted that he should make her his, though, something about his calmness embarrassed her, given how she was the only one this flustered while he seemed to keep his cool. To add to that, it somehow bugged her how she was suddenly the one to be sort of aroused and see him being the opposite, because she was sure she would never become such a lewd person. She was supposed to be the innocent little sister, Chloe, the one who refused even a simple kiss from her brother at first, knowing that a relationship between them is a taboo. Yet, here she was, trying to calm herself down and push aside her tainted ideas.

However, the lust slowly seemed to subside as they locked eyes and she listened his words. She could understand why he would still be concerned about whether everything was a dream or not, seeing how he thought she was dead for so many years. If she had to be honest, she was worried too, reminding herself that she had to be careful if she didn't want Trent to suffer for real this time. She had a feeling that this couldn't be this easy. There was this sentiment that made her wonder what would happen next. After all, she still had to talk with Jared and make him and Trent be friends again. Also, there was Charlotte too. Things could go wrong in any way if she simply did nothing and expected everything to be peaceful. Nuzzling her cheek against the palm of his hand, she placed her own soft hand over his, before he whispered her name and pulled her against his chest once again.

Chloe was surprised at what she was hearing. Despite the appearances, his heart thumped so fast she could easily hear it in her ear and feel it. She felt guilty to know that he genuinely loved her so much, even though she was this kind of coward and perverted sister. Or rather, she felt awkward having been so aroused a few moments before, when he was this serious about his feelings. She didn't want to look like some girl crazed about sex. She really loved him, in her own way. Sure, it took her a while to realize her own feelings for him, but maybe it was for the better. Maybe this was what she needed to clear up the misunderstanding in her head.

A bright blush colored her cheeks as he mentioned that she stole his first kiss. This was surely unexpected. The idea itself, that he would refuse to kiss his own girlfriend, made her realize he was serious about her. It was amazing how much a person could change due to the circumstances. The Trent of this world seemed to have a different view of point from the one in the other world. While the other one almost slept with every possible girl who looked like his little sister, this one went as far as to avoid a kiss from everyone aside from her. She wasn't sure whether to feel guilty that she couldn't say this was her first kiss, or not, because technically, he was still the first to take her first kiss in the other world.

"T-then, I'm glad I managed to influence you this much." she suddenly admitted, a little bit ashamed with her selfishness, but she couldn't help it. "If it wasn't for that, it would only make it harder to break up with Charlotte. Also, you too, stole my first kiss." she added, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Thank you, Trent... for cherishing me so much." she murmured, closing her eyes and tightening her hold. It took her a few moments to actually realize the location where they were actually being supposedly romantic. The bathroom. "I-I think I should take a shower anyway, and you should prepare the lunch. Besides, trying to talk about feelings while being here isn't what I always imagined it would be like." she added as a matter of fact with an apologetic expression for ruining the mood.

Trent simply smiled as Chloe tried to act and sound tough. Her reddened cheeks and manner of speaking more than enough to give away how flustered she was. He knew he probably shouldn’t constantly embarrass her the way he was, but she was just so innocent and cute, it was near impossible to resist the urge to make her blush and see that adorable, rueful face she made when she saw him calm and collected while she was trying to maintain her own composure. Of course, his expression while calm, didn’t apply to the rest of his body, his heart beating rapidly, and mind swimming with happiness, he could easily have stood there with her in his arms, but they had things to do that couldn’t be put off forever.

“Charlotte?” he asked suddenly looking a bit confused for a moment as Chloe mentioned the name. An awkward moment passing between them before recognition finally seemed to reflect in his eyes. “Right, Charlotte, ex-girlfriend” he confirmed, nodding to himself, while looking a bit puzzled as if he couldn’t work out exactly who he was talking about. His reaction was much like that of thirty or forty year old businessman who’d suddenly been asked about the girl they sat next to in math. Fragmented memory that had to be unburried from the depths of one mind, thought the tattered state of the recollection made it difficult to remember more than the name of the person.

Still looking a bit startled he nodded his head and released Chloe, placing a hand on her head and ruffling it a bit the way he used to when they were kids. Figuring that a kiss at this point in time would probably lead them down a passionate path Trent wanted to save for later. “Right, I guess I should have chosen a better time and place to confess how I felt, I’ll try again over a romantic dinner or something once my next paycheck comes in” he grinned before finally leaving Chloe to bathe. The door to the bathroom door closing inbetween them creating a physical barrier between them. His body slumping against the door as his hand travelled to rest on his forehead which was throbbing painfully. “Charlotte?” he whispered to himself trying to remember the finer details of who Charlotte even was. He knew the name, and could even place a vague face on it. But why he’d started dating the woman, or what they’d done during the time they’d been together was blurred and unclear. “Haha, must be more tired than I thought” he smirked to himself before making his way to the kitchen.

He already knew what he was going to make…. Well to be perfectly honest his repertoire was sort of limited, and without any bacon, sausages or anything breakfast besides bread and eggs lying around it wasn’t like he had much of a choice. Pulling out a stainless steel bowl and a bag of flour, Trent couldn’t think of a more suitable menu for their first reunion breakfast, lunch or whatever time it was. Eating out would have been easier, but there was plenty of time for that later. They had a whole lifetime together, there wasn’t any need to rush things.

Chloe couldn't quite place her finger on it, but something about his sudden 'amnesia' regarding his own girlfriend made her frown slightly. She wasn't sure if he was just faking it, or he actually forgot about Charlotte. As much as she liked to think that she could make him completely forget about that woman, she doubted she would manage to do that in such a short time. She was tempted to think that maybe something strange was going on again, but in the end she figured she was just exaggerating again. Lately she was much too worried for her own sake, taking every little weird detail as a possible threat. In spite of wanting to hide it, there was fear lurking into her subconscious, the fear of losing Trent and the fear of dying.

Shaking the thoughts away, she scowled at him as he ruffled her hair a little bit more, only for her expression to soften as he promised her something like a romantic date perhaps when he would get the next paycheck. It actually sounded like a good idea. If only she didn't have to wait for so long. Besides, the thought that she might have to cope with staying alone while he would be at work everyday really bothered her. She knew she should be grateful for him working to pay for both of their expenses, but she didn't want to be by herself when she knew he would be possibly surrounded by pretty women. There was also the awkward feeling that had her being uneasy, being the only one in the apartment, when all these events in the past couple of days had her running, crying and feeling the urge to hide away.

The raven haired girl stood in the middle of the bathroom looking at the door as it was closed behind him, before she furrowed her eyebrows and rubbed her forehead in frustration. It was so hard to feel at ease these days. Especially when she wasn't close to Trent. A conscious Trent anyway. Turning around, she finally discarded the shirt and proceeded to take a quick shower, though it soon turned into a longer one as her mind drifted away. Was it even possible to be stuck into something like this? Shifting between the worlds? She was glad that Trent wasn't much different and that he still harbored those feelings for her. But if she would die again, would this kind of thing happen again too? Going through hardships to be back to his side just like until now?

Running her fingers through the black locks of hair covering her eyes, she stopped the water from running and moved to get a towel she found around. The palm of her hand soon found her face as she reminded herself that she didn't have any clothes. It was so inconvenient to have lost her bag at that time. If only she wasn't that stupid and careless. Slipping out of the bathroom with the white plush towel wrapped around her body and her long hair still damp, she moved towards the bedroom before something struck her mind. She could rummage through his clothes again, but it probably wouldn't be a nice thing to do, especially because now he wasn't away.

"What are you doing?" she questioned as soon as she showed up behind him, peeking to see what he was preparing for lunch. "Well, it doesn't really matter anyway. Can I borrow some clothes?" she continued, tugging at his arm.

Humming some nonsensical broken tune as he finished preparing the slurpy liquid in the bowl, he’d only just finished pouring the mixture onto a frypan when he suddenly felt a tug at his arm, knowing who it was before he even turned to look, he hadn’t been at all prepared for the sight that awaited him, his hand nearly knocking the pan off the stove as he pulled away slightly in surprise. His head quickly turning to the side to avoid looking at Chloe as she innocently asked him for clothes. He probably should have been considerate enough to prepare those for her beforehand, but that didn’t make it any easier to deal with the girl tugging on his arm.

“And you complain about me walking around naked” he joked slipping his hand out of her grasp and making quickly making his way to the closet to prepare her something. He probably came off as being a bit rude, but a quick glance at his face would have revealed the tinge of red. There was a distinct difference between making out with someone you loved, and having that girl sneak up on you and act all innocent when they looked so damn delicious. Trent could still smell the aromatic scent of the shampoo that had wafted off her hair, the same shampoo he been using daily for years, and yet, it affected him in a completely different way. The scent much sweeter and alluring than he remembered.

If he didn’t know better he would have assumed Chloe was coming on to him. After all, how else could he interpret a pretty much naked girl grabbing his arm? Sure there was a towel inbetween them, but a towel was something which could easily be slipped off with or without any effort on his behalf. It’d be so easy right now to turn around and shove her against the wall. He’d played the part of a loving brother earlier, but Trent was essentially just a man, a sexually deprived one at that, who’d had his first release in ages thanks to the lips of the same girl who was currently strolling around his apartment room in a towel. If sex wasn’t on his mind, then nothing was.

Opening the closet he reached out for an oversized shirt, stopping and withdrawing his hand before touching the shirt, he shook his head before closing the closet. And walking across the room once more to a door which was most likely storage space. A triumphant grin on his lips as he waved Chloe over, pulling out a rather sizeable cardboard box.

“First off, you can think whatever you want, but you will not call me a creep, got it?” he chuckled, ripping the tape off and opening the box, revealing an assortment of women’s clothes of varying sizes, from kids clothing, right up to dresses that would drag along the ground if Chloe wore them. While the clothes varied in style, the one thing they all had in common were that they were all rather fashionable and undoubtedly expensive. Digging deeper there’d even be a few stuffed animals tucked away besides varying trinkets, a plastic ring with a glass jewel, folded inside a tissue, while right beside it there were a few small boxes that were unmistakably from some jewelers.

The contents of the box could only be described as some girl’s life. Things they’d stored away over the years as they outgrew them. They all looked clean though and in pretty good condition, though the smaller clothes smelled a bit old. Every now and then there’d be a shirt or a pair of jeans that still had a tag.

Chloe was just as surprised as he suddenly pulled away when he saw her, as if he just saw something shocking. It took her a minute to realize why he was that taken aback, a slight blush showing on her cheeks. "I'm not doing it on purpose, you know. If you didn't determine me to lose my bags yesterday I wouldn't have to walk around naked now." she scolded jokingly, sticking her tongue out. On the other hand, it was funny to see him flustered because she was almost naked, and it surely felt like a victory for earlier when he acted so 'cool' while she looked like a perverted idiot. It was about time he would be hot and bothered too. She didn't necessarily want to make a move to have sex, her only purpose being to see that usual weak side of his against her so called cuteness, to have him wrapped around her finger. At least most of the times anyway.

Leaving that aside, she quickly made her way over to his side as he waved to her to come closer. She raised an eyebrow at his words, suddenly being curious as to what was inside the cardboard box. "Depends on what you're keeping there." she replied with a short chuckle, before he finally revealed what was hiding in there. Chloe looked puzzled as she noticed there were women's clothes, the even weirder thing being the fact that they were of all sizes. The first thought that ran through her mind was that it could be Charlotte's, but she couldn't quite understand why would he keep clothes that wouldn't fit even that woman. Aside from that, though, she saw some stuffed animals and a quite good couple of other small things. "Why are you keeping all this stuff?" she questioned in the end, seeming quite amused and confused at the same time.

Chloe's expression started to change slowly when she suddenly got the feeling some of the things looked familiar. "Trent...? Why do you...?" she mumbled in a lower voice, before she spotted something wrapped into a tissue. Curiosity hit her again, reaching down to pick it up and unfold it, only to see a plastic ring, blue eyes stuck on the little thing before she looked over at Trent. "What is this...?" she questioned in a fashion that somehow sounded like she did know what it was but it was only a rhetorical question.

Trent smiled as he pulled out a rather flashy looking dress that looked fit for a super model. He glanced at Chloe for a moment before sliding it inbetween them, holding it so that he could better picture what Chloe would look like wearing it. He might have even asked her to try it on had Chloe not dug deep into the box and pulled out one of the few things in the box that didn’t actually belong with the rest. Chloe wore a clear look of recognition on her face, though she probably couldn’t recollect where exactly she’d actually seen the thing due to the passage of time. Trent raised an eyebrow at her question before plucking the ring out of her fingers, holding it infront of her face for a moment before sliding it onto his ring finger, only to hold it up a second later to show it off to Chloe.

“Sorry, this one’s mine” he smirked confidently, the look on his face hinting that he was recalling another episode of their childhood. There really wasn’t much of a story to the ring. Trent couldn’t remember the fine details himself either, but what he could remember was that Chloe had returned home one day from school in an awfully good mood, insisting he offer her his hand and close his eyes. Slipping a small plastic ring and saying it was their engagement ring. Trent could remember the clueless look on the small girls face at the time. Chloe’s didn’t seem to understand the meaning of the word, and when Trent had asked her about it, she’d simply told him the ring meant they could live happily together forever.

Obviously, Trent had been too embarrassed to keep wear it around, it was a cheap plastic toy after all, and the type of thing a little kids played with. But he’d never been able to throw it away, and when he’d been kicked out of home, it’d been one of the few things he’d taken with him.

“Engagement ring, and before you ask, you’re the one that gave it to me” he murmured, running a finger over the ring. “Probably the only thing I’ve still got since the day I got kicked out….. Guess I just lost my right to tease you about your teddy over there huh?” he laughed. Pulling out a pair of jeans. “We can talk about that later though, for now…. I’d sort of appreciate if you got dressed…. You can refuse if you want, but I’m not taking responsibility for my actions if you keep tempting me.”

Standing up and getting ready to head back to the kitchen, he hid his face from Chloe so as to not let her see the rather anxious look he was wearing. “Don’t worry, those are all yours, last ten years worth of Christmas, Birthday, Valentines and Children’s day presents…. And maybe a few things that caught my eye which I bought for no particular reason. Did have them all wrapped before, but I got rid of the wrapping and ribbons when I moved.”

Chancing a nervous glance at Chloe he quickly shook his head and tried to hurry back to the kitchen, he’d left the flame on, and it probably wasn’t a good idea to be away from it for too long. Plus, staying around Chloe and having her question him would probably make him flame up with embarrassment. He wasn’t lying when he told her he thought she was dead. But even then he couldn’t resist buying something for Chloe when a special occasion came around. His friend had told him how it was creepy and how he should stop and move on, but the advice had only resulted in Trent being more secretive about his silent gifts to his supposedly dead sister.

Chloe blinked twice as he stole the ring from her hand, saying that it was his. She was surprised to see that the ring was the perfect size for his ring finger, but even more so as he looked as if he remembered something. It was only when he cleared up the situation and mentioned that it was something she gave to him, that she finally recalled something from when she was still a little kid, probably a kindergarten aged one. She could feel her cheeks getting warmer as she remembered the time she got home and ran over to Trent's room, tugging on his shirt so happily as if she found the resolve to all the problems in the world. When she heard from one of the caretakers talk about how a ring was something symbolic which binded two people together, Chloe was immediately stunned by the 'magic' of such little thing, figuring that if she gave a ring to Trent she would be able to stay with him for the rest of her life and nobody would be able to separate them. Something ironic given how some years later Trent was kicked out by their father and suddenly she found herself alone.

She couldn't say a thing, even one single thing to mock him or laugh at him for keeping safe the little ring for so long. She just stood there, looking at the ring and questioning herself how he managed to live like this all this time, knowing his mother was dead, his sister as well, and his father apparently blaming him for her death, living only with the memories of the old times. The raven haired girl didn't even pay attention to his warning that she should get dressed if she didn't want him to take things farther. She only looked back at him when he told her the clothes were meant for her. She was completely speechless. She could see he was a little bit nervous and awkward because of what he revealed, but if she had to be honest, she didn't find this to be something weird or creepy. Instead she felt so sorry for being such an idiot all these years, waiting for him to come back for her when she could just go after him so much earlier and avoid this sadness creeping into his heart.

Kneeling in front of the box, she looked inside it, before she pulled out every single cloth, smiling a little. There were all sort of pretty clothes, and even clothes she often saw on models. Probably clothes which cost a hella' lot, because they looked so neat and fashionable. A chuckle escaped her lips as she noticed some of them were too big even for her size right now, probably thinking that she would end up to be as tall as him one day. She didn't want to disappoint him, but given her age, she figured this was the most she could grow. Besides, she was taking after her mother, sharing the same height she had before she passed away, the same blue eyes and dark raven hair and even some of her facial features. Trent was only lucky enough to take after their father. In fact, now as she thought about it, Trent grew up to be just as tall as the old man over the past ten years. Though, that would probably be all he took after their father, because he shared the same eyes and raven hair as his mother and his little sister.

Pulling out the dark blue dress that Trent placed his fingers on earlier, she was curious enough to try it out. In fact, she felt like trying out all the dresses, but for now this particular one urged her to put it on. All of a sudden she felt like she was a child again, trying out her mother's dresses and flaunting herself in the mirror. Though, even if she didn't have a mirror right now, she could still admire how pretty it was. The frilly dress that had her neck and arms bare, yet covered her chest in such a way that it actually gave her the illusion that her breasts were a little bit bigger with that ribbon tied right under her chest, the royal color that flattered her eyes and the whole design was so beautiful she couldn't take her eyes off it. The only problem was, she was short enough to have the dress be dragged on the floor behind her given its awkward cut, her legs up to somewhere above her knees being showed in the front, yet her back being hidden. A fancy dress probably made for a model instead of a shortie. That would explain why the rest was fit for her body. Most of the models were skinny anyway. With that, Chloe totally forgot about Trent making the lunch and instead swirled around in the princess-like dress, a smile on her face as she recalled how nice it was to be a child, to have no worries in the world. A feeling given by this box filled with dresses waiting for her to try them out.

There really wasn’t much for Trent to do seeing as how the pancake mixture had already been made, all he really needed to be careful of was to make sure he didn’t burn anything and lunch would be a success. That said, it wasn’t like he could ogle Chloe getting changed…. Well actually he probably could, but he decided it would be for the better if he didn’t look seeing as how he was as flaccid as he’d like to be right now. The image of Chloe’s beautiful cerulean eyes looking up at him from beneath damp black strands of silken hair still etched firmly in his mind. The image overwriting fake images of Chloe that he’d pictured in his mind. Too much time around models had resulted in him probably picturing Chloe to be the same as she was quite a bit shorter than he imagined. But the rest of her body was perfect if not a bit slender. He’d tried to not compare her to their mother. A beautiful woman in her own right, but not the woman Trent desired. He’d tried imagining Chloe to be taller, and messed around with her features to make her look significantly different while keeping her attractive. He’d been pretty sure that the Chloe in his mind had been his image of an ideal woman, but after seeing Chloe, he couldn’t even remember much about his imaginary Chloe besides the fact she’d been a bit taller. A trait he wasn’t too fussed about anyway seeing as how her current height matched her perfectly.

Sensing Chloe moving around behind him, he figured she’d finished changing, daring a quick glance before slowly turning around, smirking as he watched her twirl around on the spot. The scene reminding him of their childhood. It was funny to think how things had changed. Back when they were kids it had been Trents job to pick out Chloe’s clothes. Their mother gone, and their father too drunk or lazy to care. He could still remember how embarrassed he’d felt, walking through the isles, holding Chloe’s hand as her eyes glittered with excitement. Their father seldom gave them money, and it was rare for them to be able to go shopping. They were lucky to be able to go shopping for clothes once a year back then, and even then Trent had to shake his head at Chloe’s first preferences, the fabric being either too easy to tear, or too expensive. Eventually Chloe would come around and acknowledge what was and wasn’t for her. She seemed grateful enough for the clothes, but not even an idiot could have missed the hopeful glances she ocassionally slid towards the expensive fashionable stuff.

“Thank you” he whispered under his breathe, smiling at Chloe with a smile on his face. It probably sounded like a pretty thing to say, but while Chloe had been the one to receive the gifts, Trent’s wish to shower her with gifts in return had been made a reality. Another promised he’d been sure he’d broken, being fulfilled. There were plenty more things he wanted to do with her, but for now he was just happy with what he had.

Sliding the finished pancakes onto two different plates, he carried them over to the table, placing them down before glancing over towards Chloe again. “Come on princess, lunch first, you’ve got plenty of time to play dress up later” he chuckled, placing fork and knives in their respectively places, and an assortment of jams, syrups and other toppings in the middle. “Pick out the ones you like and we’ll take them down to the studio tomorrow, have them adjusted to suit you better” he added, pulling a chair out for Chloe and waiting for her to come over before getting seated himself.

At the smell of pancakes, Chloe had to admit that she really was hungry, her stomach already making some strange noises in protest. In fact, it was almost amazing how she managed to be this energetic without eating for an entire day, because the last time she munched on something was the previous day in the morning. Yet, the hunger didn't completely erase her reasoning and logic and at the sudden nickname she got from her brother, she soon stopped playing around, somewhat embarrassed. After all, as much as she wished she could be a kid again, being the seventeen years old she was now had its own benefits as well, since it was only because they were older now that their relationship developed into something much more than sibling love, something much stronger from her point of view. And being recognized as a woman instead of a child by Trent was pretty much important for her, especially at these times when all these women would surround him.

"I'm not really playing..." she mumbled in a lower voice, trying to correct him in spite of how it was to no avail anyway. Turning her back on him to look after some clothes to wear around the house, something much more casual, she then hesitated, reminding herself that Trent could still see her. Well, she could change a little bit later perhaps. In the bathroom. The only inconvenient thing about this was the fact that there were no panties she could wear. Now that would be a real challenge, to persuade Trent into following her to buy undies and bras. Hell, even she herself would feel embarrassed for him, but it could probably be something priceless to see, his red face.

Walking over to the table and sitting down as he pulled the chair for her, she finally realized what he was saying, a sudden feel of excitement rushing to her head. "You mean you're not going to leave me at home tomorrow by myself?" she questioned, mentally thanking God for giving her this opportunity. And with this chance, maybe she could take a look and see what kind of women are those who work with Trent. Though, she would be happy if there wasn't any woman working in that domain too. Grabbing the syrup, she spread it on her pancakes, before taking a bite and then deciding to maybe mention her necessities. Not because she wanted to be a money spender, but because she really needed those things and she figured he wouldn't be too happy to be tempted by anything indecent revealed by mistake from her part. "Also, I still need underwear..." she quickly mumbled, looking down to her plate with a slight blush.

Trent smirked as he watched Chloe enjoying herself. He’d never understand why clothes meant so much to girls, seeing as how they were just necessities to him, sure he might have been a model, but that didn’t mean he had an appreciation for brand designs. On the contrary he didn’t really think of them as much more than tools which he needed to use to do his job. A construction worker and his hard hat. Clothes were clothes, comfort was a priority for him, not price. And price in this case didn’t directly increase the chances of the clothes being nice to wear. A good example was Chloe right now, seemingly pondering whether she should change first before eating. Trent didn’t really think the dress was all that expensive, just two or three hundred, a petty price compared to the dresses that his colleagues wore.

He hadn’t really minded Chloe twirling around much, but while he did want to see Chloe in various outfits, letting her try on all the outfits would probably take a fair amount of time, and if he remembered correctly, it was Chloe’s grumbling stomach that had prompted him to make the pancakes in the first place. Smirking and rolling his eyes as Chloe defiantly claimed she hadn’t been playing around, he contemplated pointing out how she was acting the exact same way she’d acted ten years ago when she was given new clothes. But telling her that wouldn’t gain him anything, and now that he thought about it, he himself hadn’t had anything for dinner last night, and was now feeling a bit hungry as well. The sweet fluffy aroma of fresh pancakes stirring his hunger, Sleep, sex, and then food…. It might have seemed a bit animal-like, but those three words summarized his morning up pretty well, and there was no denying that today had been one of the best mornings he’d had in a long time.

“Did you w-“ he trailed off, biting his lip to shut himself up as Chloe took a seat. Embarrassed and amazed at how old habits really did last a long time. She’d just had a shower, so there really wasn’t much of a need for her to wash her hands, but it’d been drilled into Trent by his mother, and Trent in turn had asked Chloe if she’d washed her hands before each meal back in their childhood….. Smirking inwardly he made a mental note to not ask if Chloe brushed her teeth tonight, or maybe he would? She wouldn’t appreciate being treated like a kid, sure. But seeing her upset had its own allure. As long as it wasn’t anything serious of course.

“Hmm? What makes you think that was even an option?” he asked, a genuine look of confusion on his face when Chloe blurted out how she was to come with him tomorrow. He’d never taken anyone along with him before, but he’d seen the younger girls come in with their friends all the time. And it wasn’t at all uncommon for parents to standby while their children were on set. He figured by that same logic Chloe would be allowed to come along as well. It wasn’t even that big a job, and he’d known the owner of the studio for years. So it probably wouldn’t be an issue.

Cutting up the pancake he’d only just popped the small piece in his mouth when Chloe bluntly pointed how she lacked any undergarments. The comment forcing Trent to quickly place his mouth over his mouth as he coughed. Grabbing the glass of orange juice he’d prepared and emptying half it’s contents before looking at Chloe with moist eyes. “Manners? That’s hardly something to talk about over a meal is it?” he joked, wiping the dampness from his eyes before glancing over at the box. “I suppose you do, didn’t think it’d be appropriate for me to buy you those, so I don’t think there’s any in there…..” he paused, thinking for a few moments before shaking his head. “No idea, we could organize something at the studio tomorrow, maybe go shopping before or afterwards if we need to. But until then you’re either going to have to wear my boxers or go bare, I’m fine with either” he winked. Amused at the thought.

Chloe raised an eyebrow at the start of a sudden question that was cut off abruptly, wondering what was he about to say, until she finally realized why that sounded so familiar. The setting too, being a familiar thing given their childhood. She barely refrained from scowling at him for almost treating her like a little kid again. It seemed like old habits died hard, especially for Trent. Of course she did wash her hands, the many times Trent had told her to do that before eating being enough to remain a habit in time. It was a good thing he stopped continuing the question or she would have really make a fuss about that. Now the funnier question was if he would ask her if she brushed her teeth tonight. Not that she had a toothbrush. She didn't have a lot of things at the moment to be honest, but she figured in time she would have everything she needed if Trent wouldn't go 'bankrupt' because of her. The toothbrush thing, though, would be something she would have to improvise at least until she would buy one, because she really didn't want to scare away Trent. She would rather keep it to herself how she actually managed to clean her teeth with only the toothpaste.

A slight frown found its way on her face as he talked as if he never even suggested that she would stay home. So, all this time she worried about nothing? No, actually there was something she would worry about. She didn't have panties yet and she would go out in the public. Now that would be total humiliation. Unless she would constantly try her best to hide everything. Surely, the next day would turn out to be a challenge. Aside from that, there was also the fear that going out would mean there was a possibility to bump into Jared by mistake, and that would be a total disaster and another reason to feel guilty as hell. She just prayed nothing like that would happen.

The raven haired girl only looked elsewhere, acting all so innocently as he just coughed on the pancakes at what she reminded him, though he was a little bit funny. Her blue eyes only looker over at him when he questioned where were her manners. "Not really. It's just a piece of clothing, right? It's not like I was talking about something disgusting or something perverted." she pointed out with an angelic smile before snickering. "Unless you actually thought about something perverted again." she added teasingly, dangling her legs under her table as she took another bite of her pancakes, eating so happily. Though, one of these days she would have to ask for some real food, because lately she only had sweets for lunch.

Between wearing his boxers and going for the bare, she felt like she had not much to choose. She didn't want to get exposed by mistake but neither was wearing his boxers something better. There was just something embarrassing about wearing his underwear. Besides, they would probably be too big for her, risking to have them drop at the worst of the times. "I see..." she mumbled in the end, deciding that she would rather be quiet about what option she would choose. The less he knew the better, seeing how telling him she would rather just wear something else to cover herself properly instead of wearing his underwear would probably give him ideas. But leaving all those thoughts aside, she almost forgot about another important matter. Yet, bringing up Charlotte again wouldn't be a good idea. What actually seemed like a good idea was spending more time with him. "How about watching movies and eating popcorn until we fall asleep tonight? We never got to do these kind of things because I was too small to watch anything which had violence and swearing and all that stuff when we were kids. No, actually you weren't allowed to watch that stuff either, if I think about it." she suggested with a chuckle.

Chloe was right of course, it was just a piece of clothing. But those cute little lips that were munching away on those pancakes had been wrapped around his cock less than an hour ago, and even closer to the present, she’d wrapped herself around his arm wearing nothing more than a simple towel to cover herself. And now she wanted to discuss panties and bras? Trent really wasn’t sure how to interpret her actions and words, staring at her silently for a few minutes to try and work out if she’d been trying to subtly hint something. She looked pretty innocent and carefree at the moment though, and her simplistic tone of voice indicated that she didn’t seem to be intentionally trying to seduce him. Though that didn’t make it much easier seeing as how the mere sight of her happily chewing on the lunch he’d made was enough for Trent to want to slip over and embrace her in his arms. He thought he’d been pretty hungry, but the pancakes struggled to slip down his throat, and his sense of appetite was easily eclipsed with a warm fuzzy feeling that stopped him from feeling much else. He eventually snapped out his daze though, forcing a smirk.

“Perverted? Nah, just picturing you in skimpy lingerie, could go with something transparent or revealing, but on the other hand I wouldn’t mind a more innocent look from you either. Plus, it really won’t matter much what you’re wearing seeing as how I prefer you naked in bed” he joked, trying his best not to actually picture Chloe naked as he said that. He was already getting hard enough beneath the table, but he felt compelled to make a perverted remark after the little jab Chloe had made at him. He was actually looking forward to hearing which embarrassing option she’d take, seeing as how Trent too had other plans himself, but he’d keep those quiet for a bit longer.

Trent had to laugh at her suggestion though, “Yeah, that’d be nice I guess, couldn’t really watch much at all seeing as your father always passed out drunk on the living room couch infront of the tv.” It wasn’t really intentional, but Trent had stopped thinking of that man as his father a long time ago, and his slip of tongue while a clear sign of rejection, wasn’t intented to mean much. There’d only been one TV in the house, and their father hadn’t been too fond of them watching it while he was around. Trent didn’t know about Chloe, but Trent hadn’t ever been much of a TV person anyway, and they obviously didn’t have the pocketmoney to rent out any movies.

Pausing for a moment, seemingly deep in thought before he looked at Chloe once more with those uncertain eyes. “I could pick something up on the way home if you like? Or would you rather pick something out yourself?” he asked reaching for his wallet and placing it on the table. In honesty he couldn’t quite remember where he was supposed to go. He was pretty certain that there’d been something he needed to do today, but the name of the person kept slipping through his mind, and he probably would have brushed the thought away completely were it not for the nagging uncomfortable feeling.

“Just need to remember where I was supposed to go” he joked, trying to ease his growing discomfort by saying it out aloud.

Chloe chewed on the bites of pancakes, tilting her head as she noticed he was staring at her, a questioning look appearing on her face, wondering why exactly he was this silent and frozen as if he thought something over. At some point she even wanted to check if crumbles were stuck to her face or something making her look funny. Then, as he finally snapped out of the trance and replied to her teasing comment with one of his own, everything seemed to have a logic. Though, at the same time she couldn't help but look back down at her pancakes in embarrassment. Did he actually picture that? "Pervert. That's why you were looking at me like that?" she inquired only to shake her head at him with an obvious blush covering her cheeks. "You're asking where are my manners, while you're busy picturing me naked, huh?" she teased back with a slight smirk trying to make up for her red face. However, there was still a problem. She did intend to go butt naked instead of wearing his underwear so perhaps his suggestion would not be that far from reality. Definitely had to buy some panties as soon as she could.

While the slight suggestion that he didn't think of their father as his too anymore would seem a little hurtful, she couldn't really blame him for his perception given the past events and how much of a liar he was for saying she died when in fact she was alive all this time. Chloe still smiled in spite of that, knowing full well their father's old habits. In a way, even if the old man was a bastard for how he treated his own children, she couldn't wish for his death or any kind of severe punishment, because he was still their father after all. Besides, she figured he was punished enough by having his own wife die before his very eyes. Even if he was a jerk, he did love their mother and their family had been quite a peaceful one until their mother passed away. That's when things started to go downhill.

"Are you talking about movies or panties? If panties, then I'd actually let you choose them, just to imagine your face when walking into the store to buy women's lingerie." she snickered, amused as she pictured everything in her mind. "If it's movies, just pick them yourself. But in case you have any funny idea, no... adult movies." she added as she pointed at his face her fork, the blush creeping in again. On the other hand, Trent's 'amnesia' regarding Charlotte made her wonder if he was nervous about it. "Do you want me to come with you? I could just hide while you do your thing and break up with her. Or is there something else bothering you...?" she suggested, eager at the thought of coming along just to make sure he definitely breaks up with Charlotte and that she won't try to fool him, and at the same time worried that he was hesitant about ending that relationship. "You know, if you don't want to break up with her and if you actually have feelings for her, I won't force you to do this. I'd prefer it you be honest about it. If it's not that, then please tell me if something is bothering you." she continued, placing the fork on the table aside the empty plate, obviously preoccupied by what was going on with him.
