Chloe wasn't sure if he was really clueless about it, or just made fun of her, because it seemed too good to be true if he actually had some vague recollection of the memories she had. And from the looks of his face, he did seem a little confused by what was going on. Of course it didn't make sense to him. But to her, it did. Well, more or less, because she still had to figure it out how this worked. The more he spilled out, the more she got hopeful. No, he wasn't mistaking her for someone else. It really was her who he went to see there. In a way, this really was strange, to be attracted to a place where something was supposed to happen. It just had to have some sort of connection with that time they went there.
"No, we didn't. You just said the shop was opened recently. We just reunited a day ago." she added, somehow wondering if to shut up now or try to press on this subject. But what if he'd lose his trust again? Then again, would he really stop trusting her so easily? It was obvious she was the real Chloe, the looks, the behavior, the personality, the fact that she did know everything he was talking about regarding the past. Could he really push her away again?
"What... what exactly do you feel whenever you go there?" she questioned, deciding to make sure that it really wasn't a mistake. "I don't want to look like a weirdo right now, but let's say it's plainly my curiosity." she added quickly, in case he would feel any suspicion. Honestly, her heart started to beat faster, waiting an answer impatiently, feeling almost like she found a piece to complete the jigsaw in her mind. Maybe there were more to it, but this was a start, and the fact that Trent showed signs like these, meant she was no lunatic person. That death was no dream.
