Kate let out a yelp as she was sprayed by the cold water, then went silent. She bit her lip and tried not to cry, but she was just so scared - for her brother and her lover. Swallowing hard, she moved to press her face into Drayke's chest, needing the comfort. "I love him," she whispered, "And if he goes, he may never come back. I may never see him again..." Her hands gripped his wet shirt, her eyes squeezed shut. "I want to see Alysa," she whimpered, trying to calm herself down. A tantrum was not going to solve anything.
Jax looked at his brother with utter shock. "Fuck," he whispered, gripping the arms on the chair of the plane. His stomach was in knots, because it was just now registering (now that they were high in the sky) that he left his lover... And he wanted nothing more than to turn back around and go back to him. He was a confused by Zane's words, wondering what he could possibly need to stop in town for, but nodded. "I'm going to go straight home," he murmured, "I'm going to see if I can get down to the cell hall and find the brother before it's too late."
