Lios: Lios sighs in relief. "Thank Goodness it's dead." He moves to Ber'nia, healing her wounds with Cure Moderate Wounds [+22 hp]. "Paul, come here and let me heal you!" He calls over, in a surprisingly commanding tone.

Loot: Odd, 3 inch radius magical sphere in the rat's Spine. It appears to nullify Sonic Damage, but cannot be used as is.
 
Paul raises an eyebrow, since he just finished casting Cure Critical Wounds on himself for 36 HP. "Sure, but take care of the others first. I can heal myself if needed."
 
"Praise Stendarr..." Balmung sighed happily as his shoulders dropped, letting his body relax. "Ah! I should pay my regards... Is there a Church of Stendarr in the city?"
 
Lios' face lights up in realization."Ah!" He had clearly forgotten Paul could do that.
He heals the rest of the party with three uses of the Cure Light Wounds spell, trusting Paul to heal Volmar.
(K Local 17) "Yes Balmung, there should be one in Evermor."
 
Paul does indeed heal Volmar with Cure Light Wounds.

Viviane thanks Lios for healing her. "I did not prepare myself for an attack like that. I shall have to not be so lax, even with this number of allies close by."
 
Lios nods to Viviane. "I do not believe any of us were truely prepared for something like that. It was..." He trailed off, honestly not knowing how natural it might've been.
 
He nodded and bowed slightly. "Ber'nia, may I leave Reina in your care for a moment? Unless you all would like to join me.. This will be my letting go." His face lit with a small smile, his demeanor warmer and more relaxed.
 
"Surprising." Paul says, a light tint of amusement in his voice, as he pried the sphere off it's spine. "This little thing might have had something to do with it's strangeness." (Spellcraft 30)
 
(Sense motive 23, K Religion 28) Lios acknowledges Balmung's decision with only a small smile and a miniscule nod. "Do what you have to, friend. I'm going to be there. As promised."

DM: It's odd... definitely the thing that made it immune to sonic damage... However, it can't be implemented in it's current form. You figure it can, however, if you could implement it into a choker. It would be fairly expensive though.... This was High Quality stuff, with more effects than you could define right now, although you could tell they were there.
 
"Oh, Lios. Didn't think to hand it to you earlier." Paul says, a Ring of Major Spell Storing in his hand for Lios to take. "This has a Tentacle spell and an Entangle. Ber'nia might like the first."

Viviane takes a wait and see view towards things, and will follow where Lios goes.
 
"I will join you, if you will let me." Ber'nia responds to Balmung. "And should not Reina come as well, she is important to you is she not?
 
Lios takes the ring gratefully. "Thank you, Paul. Even if she does not, this should prove useful."

DM: Note: It was loot from Ravager. Only Harper bothered to ask about loot. Please don't forget guys, since DM isn't gonna remember to collect your loot for you.
