Trystan leaned back in his chair, brow furrowed as he checked the navigational computers. Something didn't add up. The scanners were showing something..... but he had no visual. He squinted hard, peering through the computer screen to see nothing but a vast empty blackness. Behind him was his world. Erabos, the desert planet he had come to know and love. Of course, he lived near one of it's active volcanoes, and it sure got hot there. That when he saw it, the faintest glimmer of armor in stealth. "Jack, I want the JDHD's defense system up and running now." The man nodded, saluting smartly before rushing off to the lower deck. Trystan leaned forward, hand clutching the mechanism used to steer his ship, the Kodiak. Just as he pushed the ship forward, it uncloaked itself, weapons already arming. Trystan just smirked, calling into the comms unit. "All shield energy to the front. Let's see what this little frigate has got." He chuckled as the thing fired, lasers smashing and dissipating on his shields. He let the firing go on for a few minutes before he figured he'd had enough. His shields had barely lost any energy. Weak guns he figured. Time to show them what real guns looked like.

"Arm Autocannons 1, 3, and 6." His weapons officer nodded, flicking the switches on the control board.

"Weapons online." Trystan nodded at him, pulling the red trigger on his wheel, smiling wider underneath his mask as the ship vibrated from the fire. The frigate didn't stand a chance. For a few seconds, the shields held, but the sustained fire was too much, and eventually tore through the shields, and the ship. The pilot sighed, releasing the trigger, nodding at the weapons officer. Switches were flicked, disarming the autocannons, and for now, everyone watched the screens. The bullets had pierced through the flimsy armor, right through the jump drives. Antimatter was spilling out in the form of crackling white energy, smoke billowed from the sides, and fire came from what he could guess was it's sub-space fuel system. So not only was it a weak ship, it was an old one. Trystan chuckled, watching as explosions rocked the small craft, quickly tearing it apart. Bodies floated randomly, one even hitting the thick hull of his ship. "Well lads, that just about does it. We're off duty from patrol for tonight, any special requests?" Jack came back from the engine room on the lower decks, wiping some grime off his arm. "I say we go to Charon. That's always a fun place, and since we got the guns warmed up....." Trystan chuckled. Ah, that was his technician. He nodded.

"Charon it is. Preparing to enter Phase Space...." One of the crewmen looked down at his screen.

"Phase Drive online commander."

"Initiate on my mark..... 3.... 2.... 1.... Full power to jump drive." With that, they were off, hurtling through that mystic place known only as Phase Space.

When they dropped out of Phase Space into familiar territory, the crew softened up a bit, standing and stretching as they prepared to land. In a few minutes, they had breached the atmosphere, landing safely on the ground next to one of the more prominent towns there. Well, more prominent to the less-lawless people of the system. 'Outer Haven' was the Sin City of Erebos, with large buildings and quite a few bars. The doors hissed as they dropped open, allowing the dry desert air of the planet to breeze into the ship. Trystan, as was customary, was the first to step out onto the sand, re-attaching his mask and grinning under it as he motioned for his crew to follow. They had all come from this planet, with it's sand dunes, dry weather, and rough-and-tumble backgrounds. The lead pirate chuckled, strapping a pistol to his waist, opposite the side of the knife. It wasn't a fancy thing, in fact, it was one of the Old World pistols, still firing bullets instead of lasers like most. He couldn't help it. The smell of gunpowder, the ringing in one's ears after firing, it was intoxicating.

For a few moments, they waited to see if anyone else was coming, and if they were, they'd get to see some of the crew's history, where they had grown up. Or at least the environment they had to put up with as kids. If they didn't want to come, they still had to wait for the other ship. He chuckled again, spreading his arms and letting the sun hit the skin bared by his light armor. His arms were brown and fit, his legs the same way. While the muscles weren't overly huge, they were somewhat noticeable. The tracker was right behind him, opting to keep on his current attire, which happened to be chest armor, full arm coverings, and lower body armor. He had done away with his own mask though, exposing his face. It looked normal, like any other person's face, except there was something different about it.... too perfect. Then came the rest of the crew, the man with the thick, heavy, hot-looking clothes stepping out in the same heavy, thick, hot looking clothes. "Alright boys, count this as shore leave. Keep your radios on though, never know when we'd be leaving." They all nodded, strapping their pistols to their sides and grinning like idiots. Well, tonight was going to be a good night. Maybe Trystan would swing by one of the bars, see what he could find. No doubt his weapons supplier would be there.

When they landed Sky opened the ships doors then walked out first followed by both Seth and Hunter, he wasn't sure if the others would follow but hopefully they did because normally when Sky landed his ship on a planet he stayed for at least a little while plus Hunter was from this particular planet and he figured the man might wanna stay a while regardless. As he stepped to the ground he looked around until he spotted the ship that had helped them out and could instantly spot the captain. It wasn't hard to pick him out of the group, "So you must be the man that voice over the radio belongs to, I'm Skylar Davies" ,he stated as he reached the man with his hand extended.

Hunter had all his weapons loaded before the ship had even landed even if he didn't think these guys were gonna be any trouble for them he still never took any chances. He walked over to the man with Sky and when they stopped he reached into his coat and grabbed a cigarette and lit it. Sky didn't like him smoking on the ship so he had to wait until they landed before he could have one, "It's been a while" ,he muttered to himself as he looked around. It seemed as if nothing really changed since he had left but it had still been a good while since he had been there.

Seth simply stood quietly he was never really one to speak up first in fact the man was rather quiet at points. He looked over to Hunter and laughed a little, the man smoked like a chimney yet he seemed to be as healthy as anyone else it was probably because he was so damn active all the time. Seth then turned his attention to the man Sky was introducing himself to and tipped his hat to greet him just like he did with everyone he met that wasn't Illuminati, people that were Illuminati got shot or worse whenever he encountered them.

Aeryn got up and followed the Captain and his men as they got up and de-boarded the ship. She'd never been to Erebos before and was curious as to what the planet was like. As she walked down the ramp, the heat hit her like a blast of hot dragon's breath and she instantly inhaled sharply. She then glanced about taking in her surroundings and making sure not to venture too far from the men who'd saved her life.

Laela didn't want to stay behind so she followed the captain and his crew as they left the ship. She was nervous about de-boarding, but a part of her was curious to see another world. Helios had always been her home and other than Themis, the only planet she'd ever been to except for Charon... now. As she walked off the ship, she immediately felt her skin get flushed as the hot air stuck and clung to her body. It was uncomfortable in many ways, but she wouldn't complain. After all, that wouldn't help her or get her anywhere better. As she glanced about, she could see the nearby city along with another ship and its people slowly exiting. She bit down on her lip as she watched them, hoping that their dealings with them would be friendly.

Trystan grinned as the other ship landed and the doors were dropped. The first man to step out was the captain he assumed. He seemed like a very lively, energetic man. He took his hand without a thought, shaking it twice before releasing and taking a small step back. His eyes darted to the man armed to the teeth, lighting himself a cigarette, but he didn't seem like much of a threat right now. The pirate simply shook his head, forcing himself not to reach for his pistol. "Yep, I'm the voice. And now the voice has a face. He turned his attention to the other male, who tilted his hat at him. He nodded back, moving his eyes over to the girl who stepped out. His head tilted a little, but he shook his head and looked out to the city. "My name's Trystan, nice to meet you guys." He glanced back to the three of his crew that remained. Jack, the tracker, and the man with the thick clothes. "Well, while we're down here, can I interest you guys in a drink? Our weapons guys isn't going to be in 'till tomorrow, and I can get you guys some rooms and drinks for free." He chuckled again, looking back at the ship, eyes catching the princess's. Then he thought of something. "Hey, before we leave, You guys know who Halmir is? According to the lovely lady over here, she was going to visit him on Charon. I think he may be an Illuminati rep, and the name sounds familiar, I just need a second opinion." He looked back at the ship again, wondering if anyone else was going to come out.

"Drinks sound good actually, haven't been to a bar around here in quite a while" ,Hunter stated before taking a long drag off of his cigarette. He smirked and it was clear he was happy to be on Erebos, while most people that weren't native to the planet may not like the weather or the conditions there Hunter was used to it even after being away for so long. "What bar you plan on going to? And did you say weapons?" ,Hunter asked.

"Jeez Hunter don't you have enough weapons for now leave the man alone" ,Seth joked with him.

"You can never have too many toys Seth or did you not notice the blood bath we were just a part of, personally, even though I love my sniper, I like to play with new toys every once in a while" ,Hunter replied. He then looked to Trystan, "I got money and stuff for trade if you'd be interested in possibly doing some business if not I won't take offense I know how things work around here and I don't expect you to trust me right off the bat". The man was pretty straight forward and didn't mind asking about things after all how would he make any deals if he never asked people anything.

Sky let out a laugh, "Forgive Hunter, he gets a hard on whenever he hears the word weapons" ,Sky began. "I think we could all use a drink so I'm interested" ,he told the man. When Trystan asked if they knew a guy named Halmir Sky shook his head and when he mentioned the man may be tied to the Illuminati Sky let out another laugh, "I don't pay much attention to the names of people who work for the Illuminati, in fact I truly believe the only way a member of the Illuminati is any good is if they're dead". At least he was honest even if the woman with Trystan was tied to them somehow he didn't care he didn't sugar coat anything for anyone no matter who they were.

"Halmir you say? You mean that sniveling Illuminati manipulator that happens to be breathing Charon air?" Jibril asked as she exited the ship with Zaphkiel. Adjusting her dreads a bit, she looked at the men that were gathered around in the desert. It was still hot even with the night being prevalent in this region. It wasn't strange to them so much as just odd. Noting the other ship, her fingers itched to get her hands on the metal she could scent inside but knew that it wasn't a ship to be boarding. Tough break. Zaphkiel took a deep breath, knowing that water was located just outside the city as well as inside the city they were near. He couldn't wait to bathe in the waters and feel it slide over his skin. Just like Jibril had an obsession with metal, Zaphkiel was engrossed by water. The twins looked at the tracker, noting his too perfect face that was reflected with the way the twins looked despite the marks on their face from their tryst. So he was the one they had been sensing but unable to pinpoint. Good to know. They gave him a slow nod before Jibril stretched and let the pirates talk to one another. It was really none of their business.

"We know him and if he means something to the little Illuminati dog that happens to be sharing the ship with us, that's just tragic. She's far too virgin pure to know how he really is. Poor, poor, dear. Well, have fun dealing with that, sugartits. He's been trying to wipe Charon completely clean of life as well as the other Rim planets," Jibril gave Laela a two-fingered salute before Zaphkiel just gave a blank stare at the woman. Even with the way mercenaries worked, they still had a code that they followed which was similar to that of pirates. They may have manipulated people, things, money, but they didn't try to wipe out the life on planets just because they didnt, "fit the mold." Whatever. The Illuminati would get theirs. The dragons perched on their shoulders stretched and made happy noises at the much warmer air, enjoying the heat that the planet offered. They needed to eat just like the twins and so they gave a shallow wave as they marched off.

"We're going to get food. Join or starve, either way, we're leaving," they said in unison, walking towards the city that lay before them, shining it's bright and welcoming lights.

Once they landed and people began to file out of the ship, Danika followed suit. She’s been to a majority of the planets before, although she couldn’t openly state whether or not she had a favorite place. Granted, any place that harbored the heat that Charon lacked was a good fucking place to start in her opinion, and as the heat rolled across pale skin, Danika almost shivered in delight. She stretched her arms out to the side and above her head before leaning back in a stretch and groaning softly. You just… had to love heat. At least, she did.

She’d made her way towards the group in enough time her hear them talking about Halmir. Now that his name had been sounded out, Danika knew exactly who he was. After all, her parents had been avid Illuminati supporters, and even though Halmir Quinn had barely been on the up when she started her piracy raid, she knew the name none the less. He’d gotten stuck on Charon, did he? That was satisfying… she hoped he hated it there.

She studied all the people around her, from the smoking man, to the quiet man, to the man who spoke quite a bit. Rather… uninspiring group, if she could say that much. Finally, she let her arms fall from behind her head and glanced towards the twins as they mentioned food. That did sound good. And Danika wasn’t exactly strapped for cash, given her parents previous adjustments.

“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.” She put her hand on Trystan’s shoulder and offered him a wink. “Don’t leave without me, okay? It just wouldn’t be the same.” She said, playfully before following after the twins. She could think of a few places on the warm planet she could go, and whereas part of her was hungry, the other part just wanted to find a spot on the ground and just lie there, basking in the warmth.

The lead pirate had to laugh when the twins came out, as well as the feisty little pirate girl. He just noticed the way the twins nodded at the tracker, and that made him laugh even more. Well, at least they were catching on. Good. He smiled, winking back at Danni, his eyes gazing over her quickly. Well, the way she was dressed, she'd get along with the heat just fine. He sighed, shaking his head at the twins. They were an interesting bunch, he'd most certainly give him that. Although he had to admit, food did sound like a good idea. He nodded at the others, jogging in front of them, heading towards the city. When they got inside the borders, he wasted no time, sniffing his way to his favorite local watering hole.

Trystan was the first to step inside, walking right up to the bar, being greeted by a few cheers and pats on the back. The bartender came up to him, washing out a glass. "Heh, welcome back Hotshot. How many marks today?" Trystan chuckled, shrugging. "Way too many to count. Way too many. Hey, I brought along a few friends from Charon, these guys got themselves rather high on the Illuminati Hitlist it seems. Think you could hook us up with a couple rounds? I can pay for the food." The bartender's smile got wider at the mention of pay. He tilted his head, looking back at the others. "Well, whaddya want? Dinner and drinks on me tonight."

The three men watched as the others exited the ship, Sky's eyes fell onto the two dragons that were perched on the shoulders of two of the people that had come from the ship. He was all to familiar with dragons seeing as he grew up around them, it was nice to see a few it reminded him of where he came from and although there weren't a lot of happy memories from Dragonia for him he had to admit he did love the beasts and missed being able to watch them from a distance every now and then while he was a boy.

They all followed Trystan and the others to the bar and sat down near the man, when he mentioned that dinner and drinks were on him Sky looked at him, "Well if it's on you tonight I insist that the next tome we end up in a bar together it be on me and my crew" ,he stated. Sky was just that type of guy, he may be a pirate but he gave back to those that helped him out.

When Hunter walked in he smiled the man had been in the place before, he took a seat next to Sky after taking off his trench coat and looked to Trystan when he asked what he wanted, "Whiskey straight up with ice" ,he stated. He already had another cigarette in his mouth but he hadn't lit it it simply hung loosely from his lips while he sat there.

It seemed that everyone thought getting food and drinks was a good idea and the twins had to sigh. They figured they wouldn’t be able to walk alone, especially with Danika hanging out like the younger sibling, but they also knew that the pirate leader and the other pirate men that he had met up with would probably want to chatter and pat each other on the backs for being a pain in the Illuminati’s asshole. It was proper thinking, they believed, but it was also just…time-consuming maybe not in the stereotypical way but just silly. They weren’t sure how to exactly process it but they followed behind the others at a leisurely pace, keeping them in their sights until they came to whatever watering hole Trystan had stumbled upon and apparently knew very well. The twins didn’t enter right away, instead they let the others go ahead before circling around the place discretely, checking for exits, entrances, and any signs of hostile peoples. Finding nothing out of the ordinary, they then walked into the bar, scanning the crowd for people that seemed out of sort. Nothing struck against their instincts and so they lightly relaxed their guard before settling in with their motley crew without being too close to all of them. They needed ample room in case they needed their weapons.

Zaphkiel leaned lightly against Jibril, hearing Trystan say he was paying for food and drinks. The twins just shrugged, a cute little waitress walking up to them. Zaphkiel put on a light smile before putting in their orders for food, making sure to give her a small tip to make the order fast and to have food for the dragons. Quickly, she went to put in the order while Jibril turned to the bartender with a determined face.

“We want shots. Strong and fast. Four Red Headed Sluts, if you don’t mind,” She said with a light grin, as if daring him to deny her. The shots were delicious and red in color and had a nice kick to them. If she had enough of them, she’d be drunk as hell and maybe that’s what she wanted – to lose a little bit of control. Zaphkiel wouldn’t drink as much as her and so he would keep an eye out. She was the one who was calculating while being wild and zany while Zaphkiel was more withdrawn and in control. And yet they managed to coordinate their mentalities and actions in almost mirror like ways. Maybe it was unnerving to some but to them…and possibly that tracker, it was normalcy. That tracker was definitely one of them, or maybe bred from one of them which would have been difficult. Most G.A.H’s were sterile and very few of them were able to carry children to term without the threat of death if they even managed to conceive in the first place. And like the twins, it was rare for them to survive to an old enough age to bear children much less get out of the facility they were created in. They hadn’t planned on letting the twins escape but they had gotten out. Jibril felt the memory of escape coming on and she shut her eyes, forcing it back while she sat there. She wouldn’t allow herself to trip back down that rabbit hole. Zaphkiel sent a soothing wave of emotion through their bond and she calmed further, glancing at Danika with a coy grin that showed nothing of the inner struggle the pair faced daily.

“So, milkduds, what you feel like drinking?”

A blush swept over Aeryn's cheeks and she patted her tummy as it growled from hunger. Yes, food and drink would definitely do her well given how she felt. She looked at her wrist, which still hurt her to a degree, but the ice had thankfully helped it quite a bit. Looking at the Captain, Hunter and Seth and noticing that they seemed easy about this Trystan pirate and his crew, she felt it was all right to follow and join them all. Besides, her own gut feeling told her that things seemed fine and she'd been learning to trust that instinct over the years. She gave the new captain and his crew a small smile before they headed off and soon fell in line with everyone and made her way to the bar.

When Aeryn entered the establishment, she looked around trying to take in her surroundings. The place seemed cozy almost and friendly enough. She was grateful to hear that this new captain was generous enough to pay for everyone's meals. Given her rescue, she certainly had nothing of value to repay anyone. All she could do was say a simple 'thank you' and do what she could to assist or help out while in present company to show gratitude.

"Thank you, sir," Aeryn said. "I don't need much. Just something simple and light." At that she smiled.

Laela winced and wanted to wither away and die when she heard the captain of the other ship mention that the only good a member of the Illuminati did anyone was being... dead. Could he truly mean that? Could... he...? She immediately looked at the ground, her eyes welling up with tears she wished she could hold back. God, this was a complete and utter nightmare. And it was only made worse when the twins spoke ill of her cousin. She hadn't seen Hal in nearly a decade, but he'd been so kind to her back during her childhood.

After several moments, Laela looked up, but it was clear she was disturbed and upset. Regardless, everyone began moving toward the city so followed them quickly and quietly as they all made their way toward what appeared to be a local bar. She'd never been anywhere like Erebos before and Outer Haven was nothing like the cities she'd been to on either Helios or Themis. When she entered the bar, her eyes went as wide as saucers and she felt even more out of place than she did moments ago after de-boarding The Kodiak.

More than anything Laela wanted to hide since so many eyes just stared and lingered. She was certain a lot of the looks were due to her attire, the obviousness of who she was and were she'd come from. Though she was in slight disarray, it still wasn't difficult to miss. Her cheeks burned crimson as she tried to ignore them all. But it was no use. And so she sat alone in a corner at a small table and buried her face in her hands.

Danika was glad it would be on someone else’s dime, and that meant that it left her a little room to… lose a bit of inhibition. When was the last time she’d been allowed to drink herself into submission? She didn’t really have a preference of drinks. She ordered her food when the waitress made her way by and gazed around at everyone at the bar. They all seemed so… chummy. And admittedly, she had been sticking pretty heavily to the twins, although why this was, Danika wouldn’t even be able to tell anyone. It was… something about them. Perhaps it was Zaphkiel’s attractiveness, or the subtle like-mindedness she seemed to share with Jibril. Either way, she didn’t mind if they didn’t mind.

As she was thinking about this and that, she heard Jibril’s order for ‘Four Red Headed Sluts’. Now, Danika wasn’t much for the name of a drink, as she usually asked for a few shots of the strongest liquor they had pure, she wasn’t sure if she was asking for shots and four women, or shots named after red-headed women. Regardless, she paid close attention to the drinks as they came to the woman. They certainly looked good. And while Danika preferred her shots to be fruity, much like an old fashioned Jello Shot, she couldn’t deny that Jibril expended little to no effort in making the drinks look good. And now, it was time to deliberate about whether or not she’d be trying one of those out. She didn’t suppose it could hurt anything. But before long, she heard a statement she was sure was directed at her. She turned her head towards Jibril and quirked a playful brow.

“Milkduds? I like it. It’s got a ring to it.” She said with a soft chuckle before looking towards the empty shot glasses and then again to The man who was paying for everything. “I guess I’ll try one or two of what she had… she did a good job making them look interesting, and maybe a jello shot? Assuming anyone around here even serves those anymore…” And yet, to her delight, they had them. And so once her shots arrived, she tore down the jello shot first before looking towards the new drink. The red was… Intense, and before long, she’d gathered her composure and gripped one of the Red Headed Sluts in her hand. “Well, waste-not-want-not, I guess. Bottoms up.” And within a few moments, she’d taken both of the shots. Yes. That was definitely a kick, maybe one that she hadn’t expected, although she was glad that her judgment had warned her that she’d not be able to pound out four of them, the same way the female mercenary had before her. She cleared her throat and shook her head a bit.

“Well, that was… lovely, actually.” She mused, licking the residue of flavor off of her lips and looking down into the empty glasses to wonder whether or not she should have another.

The pirate chuckled, shaking his head, looking up at the waitress after she had taken everyone's orders. "Well, let's see here. Mind grabbing me a bottle of Scotch?" He chuckled winking at the waitress before leaning back into his seat. That was when he noticed the princess was sitting by herself. A man was approaching her, and Trystan stood up. "Oi, leave her alone, she's with us. Just ain't feeling too right. Little one's far away from home." The man looked up and Trystan narrowed his eyes. This was a rather new face. New faces meant he didn't know anything about what happened around here. He looked back at the table, forcing a cheery mood. "I'll be right back." With that, he strode off towards Laela's table, getting there the same time as the man. He placed a hand on his shoulder, pulling him back slightly. "Hey, leave the lady alone. She ain't used to hanging around the more.... uncivilized people." The new man shook his hand off, ignoring him. "I said, leave the girl alone. Don't know where you're from, but you obviously are not from here." The man kept ignoring him, leaning toward the table. In one swift movement, he had the old world pistol cocked and pressed against the man's head. "Back off. Or would you rather experience getting shot in the head?" The bar fell silent.

Trystan looked up, nodding at the bartender. The bartender nodded back, waving for a few of the bigger guys along the wall to escort the man out of the bar. "Well? Nothing happened, go back to enjoying your drinks." The pirates shrugged, going back to what they were doing, the clamor of the place quickly rising to it's original level. When he got back, the twins and Dannika were drinking one of this place's specialties. He chuckled, sitting down, grabbing his bottle by the neck before realizing he still had his mask on. With a sigh, he started disconnecting the hoses, going through the same thing he did on ship. After it was said and done, the mask disappeared into a hidden pocket, and he took a long swig from his drink. "So, what was this about a trade? MY weapons dealer gets his hands on some stuff..... very good stuff. Where do you think we got that turret?"

While all this merriment was going on, the tracker stayed silent, leaning at his own table, relaxed, murmuring slightly to himself. Every time he was down here, he thought, and he thought hard. He never touched the drinks, was never really a fan of alcohol. Instead, he leaned back in his chair, eyes closed, listening to the various sounds around him. People talking, people moving, people drinking. This was home. This was where he belonged. Then why did he have to keep reminding himself of that? He sighed, shaking his head, rubbing his eyes and looking up and around. After a few moments someone came and tapped him on the shoulder, forcing him to turn his head and see who it was. The sight made him straighten up slightly. Looks like their dealer had come in early. "Hello Nezzy." O'Hare chuckled, relaxing again. "Well, look who decided to show up. The Raptor himself." He spread his arms, shrugging slightly. The man's eyes slid over to Trystan's table, locking on to the twins before he forced himself to look away. O'Hare raised an eyebrow, shrugging. "Yes, I already know. They are G.A.H.'s, and apparently, Trystan thinks they could be deadly. Otherwise he wouldn't have let them on his ship. Now, tell me, what have you got for us this time?" The Raptor grinned, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

"Oh, I think they're going to like this. But you'll have to wait until tomorrow. All I can say is I've been experimenting with the Jump Drive parts you have been giving me, and I think I might have found something out. You guys get a good deal, since you're my best customers." O'Hare simply shrugged again, leaning back and closing his eyes. "They all think you won't be here until tomorrow. This had better be good. Otherwise, we'll let those two get at it." The tracker simply smirked, pinching the bridge of his nose before letting out a small yawn.

Aeryn's eyes went wide when she saw the captain of the other ship defend the Illuminati girl. It was a chivalrous gesture to say the least and when she looked over at her, a part of her felt pity. The 'princess' definitely was far from home and she could relate to that being from Themis originally herself. And from the way she sat there, it was obvious that her eyes were being opened to the realities of the world for the very first time. Yes. Life was truly cruel and often unfair. It never waited for you and often laughed when you were in despair.

When the music picked back up, Aeryn looked away from the Illuminati girl and went back to thinking about eating and drinking something. She noticed that most were into imbibing. But that wasn't her thing, though she could appreciate a good drink every now and then. As she made her way to the bar, she let out a tiny groan. Her wrist still hurt a little, but it was definitely feeling better than before. Sighing softly, she just smiled to herself and glanced about and continued walking to the bar until she was face to face with its tender.

"Just some water, please. And perhaps a soup." Aeryn gave the bartender a smile. "Thank you."

Laela looked up when she heard Trystan's voice shout out, her eyes fixing upon the man approaching. She shrank back a bit, not wanting any trouble from someone who might mean her harm. She could feel her heart pounding, the beats quickening their pace as fear bubbled up within. She didn't feel welcomed at all, like she should just leave. Suddenly, Trystan held up his pistol and she let out a gasp as she watched him place it against the man's head. Blinking, her eyes went from the man to Trystan and back to the man once more. She hadn't expected him to do that. Nor had she expected everyone in the vicinity to take pause. Swallowing, she shrank back even more, curling up in her chair, feeling small.

She was thankful when the man backed down and the music resumed. Laela needed that, some sort of return to normalcy. But what was 'normal' any more? She glanced around at everyone in the bar--those she'd been traveling with, the new people they were meeting, the clientele at the bar. Just then her tummy rumbled. Pity that. She just didn't feel much like eating.

Sky, Seth, and Hunter watched as Trystan took care of the man that had been pestering the woman that had come with him, the three were ready to back Trystan if he needed it. Fortunately the guy backed off when the gun was pointed at his head then was escorted out of the bar. The three didn't stare or watch as the guy was taken out they simply shrugged and got back to their drinks, it was nice to be able to sit down and relax for a bit.

When Trystan returned and brought up trading and weapons Hunter's face lit up, "I got some things, a lot of things, like money of course I got quite a bit of money but if you're interested" ,Hunter then dropped his voice a little bit. "I've got some parts for ships, military shit, high quality technology I'm talking stuff that people normally get killed for having, I got stuff from computers to micro chips to data you can download right into your ships systems" ,he told him. "And the rest well I can show you later on if you'd like, I've got boxes of stuff I've 'acquired' over the years". Hunter then leaned back in his chair and took a sip from his glass as he waited for the man's response.

Sky noticed Aeryn groan and knew it had to be because her wrist was sore from being grabbed before, he looked to her then grabbed her arm to look at her wrist. "He grabbed you pretty hard huh? Don't worry it'll heal up in no time just keep icing it that's all" ,he told her before offering a smile. The man was concerned and had wanted to take a look at it before but never really got the chance to with everything that had went on. He was happy it wasn't broken or anything but he was still pissed at the fact that the guy had grabbed her in the first place.

Seth simply sat there quietly like he normally did when there was a group of people around talking amongst each other, he just preferred not to try and talk over people. He sipped on his own drink as he listened to Hunter speak to Trystan, Hunter did know how to get his hands on some good technology amongst other things and Seth had to admit that even he was impressed with how much Hunter had actually gotten away with getting without being killed or injured.

“Such a trooper you are, milk duds,” Jibril said, patting the pirate on the back after she did her shots. Eventually the little waitress came back with food for the group of them, bringing in other staff to help with the orders since the bar was rowdy and there was a lot of food to handle. A plate of raw meat was placed between Zaphkiel and Jibril, the dragons leaning down from their perches to sniff at it. If the chirps were anything to go by, it was good meat for them to eat. Zaphkiel gave the waitress a few more coins for her trouble before taking the time to hand free his dragon companion. The twins got a lot of looks as they did this but then again, they had felt stares drifting their way ever since they walked inside. They felt the tracker and whoever he was with glance over at them and heard the whispered, ‘G. A. H’s.’ Sometimes, they truly hated being tagged with that term but they could do nothing about it and continued to eat their food and feed their dragons. There had been a bit of a scuffle involving the little princess and Jibril’s interest was perked because…she smelled some sort of metal that she was far too familiar with. Her senses focused on the man who had been escorted out knowing that he would tell someone about the woman. Well, he needed to be silenced now, didn’t he? Zaphkiel looked at Jibril before nodding. She ordered two more shots, knocked them back, and then disappeared out the door like a wraith, staring at the tracker and his companion who had looked at them.

Zaphkiel kept it casual, as if she was going outside for a smoke or something like that, the dragons now perched on both of his shoulders. He fed them as he ate his meal, noting that Jibril had barely touched hers. He would have to make sure he had food for her when she got back since she needed to eat far more than she let on in front of strangers. As Jibril went outside, Zaphkiel noticed that the Illuminati girl was curled up like a child at a party full of strange adults. Rolling his eyes, he went over to her and put his hand on the table with a few taps to get her attention. He stared at her, not bothering to hide his dislike of her and her kind but he spoke plainly and bluntly.

“Eat and stop sitting there like a lost puppy. You’re attracting too much attention as is and since your under that pirate’s protection, you are technically under ours so shape the fuck up and stop pitying yourself. Now eat something,” Staring at her for a few more seconds, Zaphkiel went back to his place at the bar and started to eat his food, feeding the dragons again until they were full and the plate was clean of meat. He kept in contact with Jibril, noting that this place didn’t seem kind to G.A.H’s either. It made sense, most of their kind were under the Illuminati’s control and were hardly more than soldier puppets. No matter, they did what they had to do to survive. Nothing more, nothing less. Turning his attention to Danika, he gave her a small smile.

“So the pirate wench likes to drink, I doubt you could do another couple shots of what Jibril was drinking,” he teased, giving her a sly grin as he sipped at his Screwdriver, enjoying the smooth taste of the juice mixed with the vodka. It wasn’t that he wanted people to start getting sloppy, but it meant it was easier for him to attempt to relax. He didn’t like being separated from Jibril at all and it was hard for him to sit there and let her wander further and further away from the bar and his presence.

As Jibril exited the bar, she put her nose to the air, careful not to look suspicious. She stretched out, casually reaching for a pocket as if to grab a pack of smokes as she walked around the bar, hearing the sounds of the men who had escorted that stranger out of the bar. They probably gave him a good whipping but that wasn’t enough. Not for Jibril. But soon the bouncers were walking past her and she batted her lashes at them, seeing a few of them look interested but thought better of it. She did happen to have a lot of weapons, after all. Stepping into the shadows, she followed the man who had gotten his fill of punches and kicks. He was a bit bloody and angry, but she could sense that he wasn’t going to give up on getting that woman. Something about him was definitely off…like he was…trained or something. Sliding one of her knives from its secret compartment, she followed behind him as he stumbled off, muttering words under his breath. Once he stopped to pull out a comm device, that’s when she slipped free from the shadows, coming up behind him and holding the knife to his throat. Unlike some people who would have tried to see what he was up to, she didn’t hesitate and simply slit his throat, letting his body topple to the ground. It was a quick, clean kill and the smell of blood invaded her senses before she sighed deeply, as if being stroked by a lover.

Shaking her head, she only let herself lick the blood off her blade before putting it away and moving the body. She picked him clean of his money, devices, and the metal that had been calling to her. It was a whistle but it wasn’t an ordinary whistle. Smelling it, she knew now why it had been so familiar. It was the same metal that was found in the Illuminati labs meaning his whistle was meant as a signaling device…for what, she didn’t know but if he wasn’t solo, his partner or partners wouldn’t know where he was anyways. Time to clean up. Lifting the body up over her shoulder, she carried him a few blocks, careful not to get any of his blood on her as she did. He wasn’t too heavy, but he was a bit on the bigger side and carrying him was not as easy as she had hoped since his weight was all on one shoulder. Finding a nearby dumpster, she dropped him in front of it, arranging his body to make it look like a mugging. He was already beat up so it wouldn’t be looked into too closely. He had been beat, was probably easy pickings, bam! Dead and robbed. Quietly, Jibril made her way back to the bar, cleaning her hands with the wipes she kept in her bag. Zaphkiel would taste it later, but she didn’t need him trying to take her out back. She was slowly coming down from the adrenaline and didn’t need him revving her right back up. They had to blend as much as possible. Soon, she was back at the bar and sliding back into her seat, nodding once to Zaphkiel before looking directly at the tracker, licking stray blood off her bottom lip.

“Some people don’t seem to like us very much…”
She said casually, turning her attention back to her food. Luckily for her, it was still warm enough to eat and so she dug in, eating quickly but politely, taking Sabbin back onto her shoulders. The little dragon rubbed against her neck and cheek, making little noises and Jibril stroked her back, scratching at the scales. Turning her gaze to Danika, Jibril grinned.

“So…shot war?” She winked while Zaphkiel rolled his eyes, sipping his own drink with a small chuckle.

Trystan raised an eyebrow when Hunter brought up chips for systems, and military grade equipment. He took his hand away from his drink, leaning on the table, pressing his fingers together gently. "Honestly, I'd be more interested in the money. I was thinking you'd be more interested in the stuff my guy has to offer." He chuckled, leaning back, taking another drink before absent-mindedly rubbing the burn marks on his cheek. He did that whenever his mask was off. Any type of breeze tickled the skin there. He sighed, glancing around, watching one of the twins get up. For what, he couldn't figure out, and as long as she wasn't out to cause trouble, he could care less. The pirate smiled to himself, returning his attention back to Hunter. "As for the chips, we don't have AI on the Kodiak. Everything we do there is pretty much done by hand. We do have a Nav system though, but that's about it. Everything from the targeting, to the phase jumps are done by my crew. More reliable that way."

The tracker looked up, sniffing the air. Someone just bit the dust. Hard. He'd have to check it later, but he could definitely smell the blood. He blinked, shaking those thoughts from his head. He couldn't help but shudder slightly though. That thought intensified as Jibril came in, looking directly at him and licking some blood from her bottom lip. A small rumble made it's way from her throat, but luckily it wasn't audible over the din of the bar. His eyes glinted slightly, and he had to look away before he drove himself crazy. Bastard. She wanted to play that way? He could play. "Raptor, you should go now." The dealer nodded, making his way silently outside. O'Hare sighed, standing up and making his way to the bar, shooting a quick glance at Jibril and Zack before leaning on the counter. "Hey, I need something heavy, and I need it fast." The barkeep nodded, grabbing a small crystal flask and handing it to the tracker. "There ya go Nezzy. Enjoy." He nodded his thanks, sitting back at his table, massaging his temples before taking a slow drink. He didn't always drink, but when he did, he most likely needed to. Bastard. He sent a telepathic pulse, wagging his finger at Jibril before motioning out to where the smell of blood came. At least to him. Then he turned his attention back to his drink, feeling himself calm down.

When Morgan landed her ship she made sure to activate the security system so that no one would mess with it while she was gone, almost immediately she spotted the Dragon's Fang and knew that Sky was in the area and she had a good feeling she knew exactly where in the area he was. She stepped onto the ground and looked over at Reisa, "Come on dear I have a few friends that are currently on the planet they may be able to help you out" ,she stated with a happy tone before heading towards the bar. She glared as soon as she spotted Hunter, the man got on her nerves, she noticed he was speaking with someone so she would leave him alone for the moment.

"Fair enough" ,Hunter stated in response to the man. "I can see your point on wanting to do things manually and yes I am interested in what your guy has to offer I'm always looking to make a deal" ,he stated in response. A smirk came across his face then he took a sip from his drink, he watched as one of the women left then came back he figured she had just stepped out side to have a smoke which he thought was a good idea, "I'll be back I'm gonna step outside for a smoke I'll be right outside the door if you need me" ,he stated. Not that anyone would need him he just made the offer before standing up and making his way through the bar, as he walked he searched his pockets for his lighter. When he spotted Morgan he looked at her for a moment then let out a small laugh then walked past her and out the door.

Morgan turned up her nose at the man then turned her attention to Skyler and Seth and made her way over to them, when she got there she tapped Sky on the shoulder. When he turned to look she gave him a look, "I need your help Captain Davies" ,she stated simply.

"With what?" ,Sky asked with a look of confusion on his face. He hadn't seen the woman in years and now she was asking for his help out of nowhere, and how the hell did she find him he wondered.

"My new friend is having some issues with the you know whos, the lass was dumped onto my planet and left to be killed, found her in a tree" ,she stated. She didn't mention the Illuminati in case there were any unwanted listeners around, she knew with how she worded things that Sky would get it though.

"What's in it for me?" ,Sky asked.

"Don' be a wanker mate you know I'll help yeh out if you help me out, I jus don' know what I can offer you yet" ,she snapped. Her attention then turned to the rest of the people that were around Sky, "May we sit down? We won't bother anyone 'cept for Sky and I might be going to have a lil' chat with the wanker that just went outside but other then that I just need to discuss some important things with an old friend".

The heat was intense, but welcome after the bitter cold of Lamia. Reisa exited the ship and followed close to Morgan's heels as they made their way into the city and toward what looked like a bar of some sort. It seemed lively enough and she nodded when Morgan mentioned that she had friends that more than likely were inside. She backed up a bit and gasped when a tall man in a black coat with a cigarette hanging from his lips. Morgan seemed to know him so she kept silent and continued to follow her inside.

Reisa stayed relatively quiet as Morgan talked to the man she seemed on friendly terms with, though he seemed to be rough around the edges. She wondered if he'd truly help her or not. It was hard to tell and she really felt nervous as if all eyes were watching and wondering though she knew deep down it was her paranoia. Then again, a couple years interrogation and torture can do that to a person. When Morgan finished her speech, she looked up at the captain with her big blue eyes and tilted her head. She hoped he'd help. She needed someone to.

As Aeryn waited for her water and food, the Captain suddenly grabbed her arm and began to study her injured wrist. It still hurt pretty badly, but she knew it would heal up and be no more worse for the wear in a few days time. It was just unfortunate that she got bruised. However, she felt damned lucky nothing got broken. Or worse. She thought about poor Seth and how he'd needed those stitches. "I'll keep icing it. Maybe I'll wrap it later on for a bit as well," she said softly, giving him a smile.

Just then, some food was placed before her so Aeryn began to eat a little, more than happy to satisfy the hunger rising within her belly. While she ate, she noticed a woman and a younger girl walk in. Hunter seemed to recognize the older woman. She wondered who they were.

Laela sat there in silence not feeling much like anything. She wasn't hungry or thirsty and clearly none of these people were overly happy with her presence. At best she was a pay day, that was all she was worth and good for. It made her wonder why she'd been curious to venture outside of Helios' atmosphere at all. She'd have been better off staying behind and alone there forever. At least then she'd never have known... this.

As she sat there, Laela's thoughts were suddenly interrupted with a loud tapping. Jumping a bit in her seat, she looked up and saw Zaphkiel, her eyes fixing to his briefly. She couldn't hold his gaze. All too quickly, she was staring idly into her lap. His words then stung her to her core, twisting her up on the inside to a point where she considered standing up and leaving only she knew doing so would benefit no one and probably rendered her escorted right back to that very same seat.

Laela then let out a soft sigh and reached for some food and began to nibble. It was difficult to chew and even more so to swallow, but she forced herself nonetheless. After a few bites she stopped and sat there wondering why everyone else seemed so damned happy.

“I am a trooper…” Danika said, agreeing with the woman as she gazed around at the empty glasses. She could already feel the alcohol beginning to work a buzz into her system, which was fortunate, as Danika usually only drank for the buzz. But the little concoction of tasty was tempting. She couldn’t say that she wouldn’t order another. Maybe even two more. She licked her lips again and leaned back, turning her head to watch the commotion that was going on not far from her. It appeared that someone was bugging the Illuminati Princess, and mister Trystan was all righteous. The hero. A pirate being a hero. The notion was laughable, really. But, she was valuable to him, she Danika supposed on the other hand if something were indeed that valuable, that she would be a bit of a pitbull as well. She hadn’t noticed the looks the twins had given one another, and so when Jibril left, Danika thought nothing of it.

When Zaphkiel left to approach Laela, Danika didn’t really show any interest then either. In fact, she was far more interested in the cheeseburger that had just been set in front of her. How long had it been since she had been able to eat anything that couldn’t be cooked in three minutes? An actual meal. With actual meat. Although, admittedly, what kind of meat was a question. Usually, hamburgers were made from cows, but she had a hard time believing that cows could even think about surviving on this planet. Hell, she didn’t really care what animal it came from, as long as it was an animal. Could have been dog meat for all she cared…. Okay, so she may have cared if it were a dog. And then she heard Zaphkiel speaking to her. She quirked a brow.

“Milk duds is okay. Pirate wench? Not so much.” She said with a playful chuckle. She looked back down at the empty glasses he’d been addressing before thinking on it. “Admittedly, I probably could do them. Now, could and should are different things. Whereas it is likely that I could pound out just as many, it is also even more likely that I will die of alcohol poisoning within the hour. In fact, it’s guaranteed.” Of course, it was unlikely that she would die, but Jibril could certainly handle more Danika, and it was sure that, by the end of the night, someone would definitely be carrying her out of here like a heavy sack of potatoes, although admittedly Danika didn’t have much weight on her to begin with.

She’d began to eat more, until at least half of her burger was gone. But by then, Jibril had made her way back towards her and had issued a challenge with a coy grin stretched across her face. It was ironic, really, as she and Zaphkiel had just been speaking of her pounding out more shots. And whereas Danika knew that it was likely a bad idea to accept this challenge from the female mercenary, Danika also hadn’t been known for turning down a challenge of any kind. Good or bad idea. She quirked a brow and allowed a smirk to barely tug at her lips.

“Alright. You’re on. But you can’t leave me here when I can’t walk at the end of the night. Deal?” She said with a chuckle.

“Deal. Barkeep, six more Red Headed Sluts,” Jibril said, smirking at Danika. Once they were delivered, Jibril set three in front of Danika before setting three in front of herself. As she did, she spoke to Zaphkiel telepathically, letting him know that the tracker was a G.A.H, especially when he had come over to get a stiff drink and wander back to his table. His control was slipping because she smelled like blood and death and she had cleaned up enough that Zaphkiel was only a little bugged. He could control his urge to taste her lips since it was only the fragrance of blood. The sight of it was more overwhelming but it could also be handled. They just had to keep their heads where they needed to be and make sure they didn’t fall into the abyss that the blood and battle lust could instill. Zaphkiel kept glancing at the tracker, seeing him shake a little while he drank. It was then that he wondered what had happened to his twin. Had the man’s twin died or what? It was rare for G.A.H’s to even exist without a twin, had seem one in the laboratory go insane because the men in white had purposely killed her. Seven men had died before they were able to control the boy and he was soon put into isolation to be studied for his reactions. Thankfully, he had managed to kill himself before they could truly experiment on his brain. Zaphkiel still remembered that vividly and couldn’t help but stroke Jibril’s arm for a brief moment as if to make himself remember where he was and who was with him.

“Lets do this, milk duds. Shot number one!" Jibril gave his hand a small kiss before she focused on drinking with Danika. She then felt a brush against her mind and a finger waved in her direction. She gave the tracker a two-fingered salute before she downed one of her shots, loving the sweet burn that ran down her throat. Zaphkiel chuckled at her before watching Danika to see if she would be able to keep up. It wasn’t a fair match and Jibril already had four shots on her. He was going to end up carrying the pirate woman out of the bar. Sighing lightly, he stretched, petting the dragons as they watched Jibril take shot after shot with the pirate.

She was reassured when the mercenary woman had told her that she had a deal and grinned, slapping her hand down on the bar once for good luck. And before long, she was looking down into three shot glasses. This was going to be a very, very bad idea. And by the end of the night, it was likely that she wouldn’t even remember having this little challenge with her dreadlocked, vixen counterpart. She rubbed her hands together, preparing herself for what was to come. She hadn’t noticed the moment the twins had shared, as she hadn’t been paying too much mind to their mannerisms, but she did notice Jibril kissing the back of his hand. But, this was neither here nor there. She merely assumed that he needed a bit of comfort. She heard Jibril. She curled her fingers around one of the shot glasses.

“Down the hatch!” She murmured before tossing the first shot back. As the drink lightly burned her throat, she let out a small and yet satisfied growl. That was a burn that she could certainly get used to. Maybe she should drink more often. Or maybe those were the three drink before this one talking. Now, Danika was going to try her best to keep up with Jibril, and as long as she remained sitting for a while, it wouldn’t hit her so hard. But, it was going to hit her regardless. And, she matched the speed for a good four to five shots before she starting slowing a bit. She swallowed and took a good swallow of her soda.

“Oooh, and this is where it gets bad for me…” She murmured, leaning forward onto the bar a bit. But, she wasn’t quite ready to stop… yet.
