It was agonizing for Cyrus to see Sakuya in such a state after a simple trot over to where he was waiting. Again, he questioned how such a body could contain the lust and power of a succubus, but it perplexed him so much that he just shrugged it off. She bowed to him in apology and suggested they head off to which the young man let out a small sigh and replied, "Ah, don't worry about it. Let's just go." As they began walking together, he soon had the unusual feeling that people were eyeing them and, without bringing too much attention to it, looked back in kind to see what they were thinking. Perhaps it had more to do with Sakuya than him, seeing as how she normally couldn't stand being around boys. He could barely make out the small murmurs they made towards them and for some reason, he felt annoyed.
Was is really too much for them to comprehend that a woman could change if she really put her heart into it? Cyrus could tell with each previous meeting that she was trying so hard to become used to his presence that he almost admired her for it. He knew that, in due time, she would be able to get close to him without the need to transform and she could have a sense of normalcy in her life. He kept that in mind as they continued down the path to his house, him leading the way and hopefully the girl following close behind. It was a quiet walk most of the way, mainly because Cyrus was hesitant to try and talk to her lest he say something that would be inappropriate to her. Still, he tried to create some kind of small talk, just to lighten the mood. "So...are you in any clubs or something? You seem like the hard working type, so there's gotta be something you're good at."
