She rests her hand upon his head as she lays it there, enjoying the relaxing moment between them. To bad that talk of Jak had to come and ruin it. "Did you butter me up like this today just to make me feel better before breaking news about your brother to me? What does it matter if your father sent him or not love?"

He sighs softly as he rubs his hands over his face. "I brought it up because I want you to let me assign a soldier to be with you when I cant. I dont want him to get to you if I cant be near you." He sits up slightly kissing her cheek softly as he tilts her head looking into her eyes softly. "I couldnt rest if I knew something happened to you because I lapsed."

"Are you sure it's necessary Lund?" she asks even as begins to worry herself now. If he was concerned about the threat that Jak could truly be to her, then perhaps she was not as save as she felt behind the strong walls of his home. "You already have a guard posted at the door morning, noon, and night. And how could he ever reach me here inside?"

He strokes her cheek softly. "Im not sure love. Im just worried is all especially with us talking of trying to start a family." He takes her hand kissing her palm softly. "If you think the guard is enough then I will relent for now. You are perfectly safe behind these walls my dear." He leans in kissing her softly his arms wrapping around her waist.

Her hand rested over her belly then, lightly to not irritate her wound any. When he spoke of children again, her worries only grew. "Well, perhaps..." she started then thought for a few moments before looked into his face again, "While we are at home, I think only a guard at the door is fine. Their are many other guards about. Certainly if I ever leave the protection of the walls though, venturing in the the village, then you may have a guard to watch over me. And if we have children well... they will be guard like hawks."

He sees the touch of her hand to her stomach. He takes her hand again giving it a gentle squeeze. "Love nothing is going to hurt you or our children. They will have to get through me first that I swear to you." He laughs softly before picking her up. "Lets get you back inside so Nessa can check your wound and give me the tongue lashing Ive been avoiding for the last hour." He cradles her close nuzzling her neck softly.

She can't help but smile at the thought about what they were going to now we walking into. "Yes, I do think that you had put off your punishment from Nessa long enough. If you are lucky you will be able to get me into the room and yourself out again before she catches you. Then it will be only I that gets the yelling for now. You can still run and hide a little while longer from Nessa's rage."

He smiles softly shaking his head. "Do you really think i would leave you alone there to face her wrath love." He kisses her cheek as he makes several turns before the final one that leads to there rooms. He edges towards the door suddenly feeling nervous as he nudges the door open with his foot. His eyes dart about the room before slipping in and move to lay her on the bed. "Well it looks like we missed her."

"WRONG!" suddenly rang out a loud, mad voice followed by the sound of the door slamming shut. There stood Nessa, arms crossed over her chest and her eyes looking like they could kill.

Kiana's finger instantly sprang up and pointed accusingly at Lund, "He made me do it!" she said, throwing him to the mercy of one angry woman. "Sorry Lund, but I told you not to take me out of the room. Should have listened."

Lund swallows jumping at the angry in Nessas voice. His eyes turn to Kiana as she throws him to the wolves it seems. He bows slightly to Nessa trying to compose himself. "I apologize Nessa but I felt my wife had a right to leave her rooms after so long. There haven't been any complications and I carried her the whole time." He offers her his most charming smile trying to disarm the whole situation.

Nessa slowly started to walk towards the bed, on slowly, threatening step at a time. "I don't care if you carried the entire bed she was suppose to be staying in with you... you know you were not suppose to remove your wife from this room. She may be your bride, but she is my sister and my patent until she can get up and walk about all on her own." Nessa seemed to forget that she was not really Kiana's sister. By then she was next to Kiana, "And you should have known better as well," she said before starting to go about checking on the wound, not seeming to care that Lund was still there as she worked the dress down to give her access to the area.

"I tried to tell him no, but he insisted and then picked me up and carried me off. What could I do?" Kiana was leaving him completely on his own with this one.

Lund swallows softly as be watches Nessa backing up slightly. "Look here now. She maybe your sister and your patient but she is my wife. I wanted her to leave these rooms and get some fresh air." He offers her another soft smile as he moves to watch her work. "There haven't been any complications Nessa. Nothing harmful was done from my actions."

As she pulled away the bandage, the wound did not look to pretty to behold. The area looked more painful then it was but it looked very red as if it had been irritated. Stitches were still clearly visible and there was a little blood upon the bandage that proved that it had bleed since the last time it was replaced the evening before. "Well, the remaining stitches have not snapped. Nothing would have been able to save you from a whipping from me if so much as one was snapped." Nessa and Kiana both did not seem to stunned by the state and appearance of her wound, but it was Lund's first time seeing it like this and it likely looked worse then it was. Nessa knew that letting him see it would be punishment enough for him disobeying.

Lund opens his mouth to say something but stops seeing how badly the wound looks. "Kiana please tell me it isn't as bad as it looks." His hand tenses at his sides as he watches Nessa work. "It looks infected Nessa what's wrong with the wound. Shouldn't it be healing up by now." his fingers move through his hair slowly as he shakes his head beginning to pace.

"I SHOULD tell you that is it just as bad as it looks," Nessa answered before Kiana could, "But in honesty... Kiana..." she turned the rest of the explanation over to her to deliver.

"It's not as bad as it seems darling, I promise you. The wound IS mostly healed but it became minor infected early on. We didn't tell you but Nessa was forced to reopen the wound to flush out the infection before it got work. It set the healing back just a little bit as it had to re-heal what it already had."

He let's out a quiet curse tuning away from the two. "Dammit Kiana. If I had known that I wouldn't have taken you out at all. You should have been here resting not being carried around the castle." he keeps pacing cursing quietly but turns toward them. "I need to speak with angus and I'll be back In a few hours." Be takes the chance to dart out of the room and begins searching the castle for Angus.

"Lund..." Kiana tried to stop him from storming out mad. After the nice morning they had, she didn't want him to be upset with her. Unfortunately, that's exactly what had happened and it left her feeling guilty she had tried to shield him from her pain and that she had let him get in trouble now.

"Him seeing the wound was his punishment..." Nessa said suddenly as she rubbed the healing cream over the wound and started to re-wrap it, "You feeling like this now is your punishment."

"And I am adding to my own. I won't leave the room again. Not until the wound is fully sealed, no matter how long that might be. Even it that's another week." She knew it was more then just a punishment, it was plain torture, but she felt like she needed to punish herself for a little bit.

Lund paces through the halls his angry boiling out of him as it builds at not being able to find angus. He comes across the small courtyard to train the soldiers their wooden swords clashing together loudly. His lips turn up in a smile as he moves into the courtyard taking up a wooden sword. He steps into the ring and waits for a moment before a soldier joins him and soon they are moving about the circle their swords echoing with the impacts.

After Nessa finished tending to Kiana, she left. Not because she wanted to but Kiana told her to. Seeking out her husband, she asked is Lund had come to him yet. Upon explaining to her husband what has happened that morning, she just shook her head, "Now Kiana is self punishing herself with a forced solitude. I usually sit with her during the morning but she sent me again. I have no doubt she'll send Lily away when she comes to sit with her after the evening meal as well. As for Lund, who knows what he is doing but I'm sure it's something to punish himself as well."

Angus kissed his wife upon the cheek, "He is a warrior so I'm fairly certain I will find he off punishing himself through his body..."

And he was right as he came upon the training, spotting Lund among the fighters looking rather frustrated. He did not interupt him but did walk to stand in a spot where Lund would notice him in his own time. Hopefully, Lund would come to some of his senses and break to speak with Angus.

Lund keeps clashing with soldiers showing the skill he has gained in his time as a soldier himself. He sighs as the man backs down his eyes noticing Angus. His shirt is plastered to his body with sweat as he picks up a second wooden sword moving towards Angus. "Did you come by to just watch old friend." He holds the sword out to angus smiling softly as he tries to entice his friend into the ring with him.

Angus looked at the wooden sword in Lund's hand, then eyed the rest of him while he reached out and took the training weapon from him, "It would not be a fair fight lad. I would already best you normally. Fighting with you now while your exhausted and in a poor mood would just be like fighting a child."

He laughs softy as he continues to move backwards slOwly into the ring. "I've gotten alot of better since we first meet Angus." He swings his own sword slowly in front of himself. "Ive already beaten a few of the others. Don't back down on me now besides I have good news to share with you after our match."

Angus shook his head a little bit then moved forward into the ring with Lund. "I will humor you lad, though only because you have shown us such hospitality in your home. I honor you with the fight... I can't promise to make you look good after I beat you." Angus rolled his shoulders and neck a moment before he took a battle stance in the ring with Lund.

Lund smiles slowly as he takes a few steps back stretching his arms out. "Besides I think the soldiers should see how good the new captain of the guard is." He smirks softly as he charges in his sword coming down in a diagonal slash starting on Angus left shoulder.

If he thought to try and known Angus off his game but the announcement, he failed for Angus was to well trained himself that he once a battle began he could not be swayed until it was over. Angus's sword rose up to block the attack and almost effortlessly counter attack with his own slash and jab of the sword. "Well all I can say is it will be about time your men have someone decent to train them. If so many could loose to a lad like you, even in a play fight, their training has clearly been poor."
