"Well I better hurry along to the dining hall with Kiana. Have you already eaten this morning?" He glances back once more as he starts to move towards the dining halls doors shifting to hold Kiana tighter. "We has better hurry love. I have felt Nessa's rough tongue once before. I dont feel like doing it again so soon." He nudges the door open to the dining hall carrying her inside to a seat placing her in it gently.

"No, I was coming to wish Kiana a good morning and walk with you to the morning meal but you have given me reason to just follow you to the hall. I will not complain, but again... I will deny helping you to smuggle her away." As the trio reached the great hall, there was no sign of Nessa and they had likely avoided her rage until after the meal since only moments later, the lord and his lady arrived. Nessa would not be rude to intrude now upon the family's morning meal. But that either gave her anger the chance to cool or to grow.

"Kiana, you are joining us for the morning meal today?" Lund's mother asked as she took her seat at her husband's side.

"Yes milady. Your son has carried me down to give me just a little time from my room. I am sure this will be the first and last time until the end of the week. My Nessa will likely be upset by his actions."

He smiles as he takes a glass of mulled wine sipping at it slowly. He brushes a loose strand of hair back from Kiana's face smiling as his mother and father enter. "So if you see me hiding in the basement later you will know why mother." He laughs softly as servants filter in beginning to lay plates of food before those dining. "She was going near inside up in our rooms mother. I had to do something to free her if only for alittle bit."

Lily laughed a little bit, "Hiding in the basement AND forbidden to see your own wife would be more like it I think." Even his mother laughed a little at that.

"I had not thought about how Nessa will only tighten her watch over me after this. Oh dear I do think this will be my first any only time leaving the room. She may tie me to the bed to make sure I don't get away again." She paused a moment as she glaced towards Lund at the mention of ties.

He smirks softly as he leans back chewing on a piece of food. His eyes dart to Kiana at the mention of the rope giving her a teasing smile. "Well Ill just have to find a way to distract her if she tries to banish me from my rooms." He smiles continuing to eat enjoying the food. "Besides if Kiana mentioned broth one more time I was going to insane from it." He winks at her softly a smile on his face.

Kiana blushes a little but quickly hides it behind her hand as she started to eat her food, her face lowered. After awhile, she was starting to wonder if eating with the family was something she really had missed. His parent's barely spoke, in fact the only person seeming to do much talking at all was Lily. She almost missed the meals talking and laughing with Nessa or her husband. A formal meal in this big yet seemingly empty hall was just, not her.

He smiles as he catches sight of just a hint of her blush. He winks at her again laughing as he keeps eating clearing his plate after a few minutes. He leans over kissing Kiana's ear softly whispering to her. "Is everything alright love? Youve barely touched any of your food." He takes her hand kissing the palm of it softly. He glances around the room towards his mother. "Mother I was thinking when Kiana was healed fully perhaps you could help with the planning of the wedding. It would give you two a chance to get to know each other."

Kiana squeezes his hand a little bit, smiling to attempt and reassure him, "Perhaps I am just not as strong as I thought I was and ready for eating like this as I thought I was before..." she whispered back to him before he brought up the mention of his mother and the wedding. The two women looked at one another. They had not really spoken much since her arrival and Kiana could not help but feel a bit intimidated by her.

"That would be a fine idea," his mother said, "I'm sure planning such a large wedding could end up being more then little Kiana could handle. And we need to make sure that all the proper people are invited to not offend any of our allies."

He smiles softly giving Kianas hand a soft squeeze. "I'm sure mother can help you learn our allies as well. Some of them can be over bearing and insulted a the lightest cough it seems." He smiles as he takes a sip from his wine. "If your feeling full I can carry you back to the rooms to rest love."

The talk of overbearing, insulting nobility had Kiana feeling a little bit sick. Just a little but it was enough for her to realize she had not had a single meal with Lund's entire family that had left her feeling good after. She always ended up feeling so very out of place and inferior to them. It was not in anything they meant to hurt her with, it was just in being in their proper presence that did it really.

For once she was not feeling so bad about the idea of being put up in her room again. She sort of welcomed the idea of escaping these meals for a few more days. She wished it was nice enough to have gone with him outside or something like that, but no. "Yes, I think that may be best. Face Nessa sooner rather then later..."

He smiles as he kisses her hand standing up slowly. "If you will excuse us mother father. Lily would you mind walking with me back to our rooms." He gently lifts Kiana already planning on a way to hopefully escape Nessas wrath for alittle longer. Once outside the dining hall he turns toward the small private gardens wanting to take her outside.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she bid Lund's parents a good day before he hoisted her up and carried her from the room. As he changed his direction from their usual path, she look at him, a bit confused, "Where are you taking me to? I feel totally at your whim like this."

He laughs softly as he holds her tight checking corners once more as they walk. "I'm taking you out to the private gardens. It is your husbands decision that you need some fresh air love." He smiles kissing her cheek softly as he nudges the door open the sunlight starting to pour into the small garden with flowers blooming slowly.

Her lips curl into a smile, "Well then I can't object to that. It will be nice to let the sun touch my face a bit before Nessa locks my door and throws away the key," she told him as she turned her face to kiss his cheek in return. Once the door open, she takes in a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill her lungs and letting it out at last on a long sigh.

HE smiles softly as he carries her to the first bench they come to. He sits down next to her holding on to her carefully. "Its been a long time since we have been out here love." He takes her hand kissing it softly as he smiles. "I wanted to speak with you about the wedding. I dont want you feel pressured to do anything love. I want you to be happy."

She carefully snuggled close against his side, resting her head upon his shoulder with a soft sigh. "I just want to make your family happy. I know nothing about the world you come from. I know nothing about planning a wedding or planning social events. Keeping the noble and the elite happy. Perhaps it would be best if you mother just planned the whole thing and I just... you know... am there."

He sighs softly taking her hand holding it gently. "You will need to learn love. After my parents step Down it will be our responsibility to plan events. If you would be willing I can talk to lily and have her teach you everything." He kisses her hand softly as be looks into her eyes. "I will need you by my side love."

"I will confess..." she started, sighing a little, "I would much rather learn from Lily then from your mother. Oh I have nothing against your mother! Please don't think I do darling!" she seemed a little worried her might think her reasons mean ones. "It's just, you mother is a bit, well.... intimidating. Lily is so friendly all the time and already seeks me out to talk with me. I don't want to hold Lily back but... it may be nice."

He smiles softly as he laughs kissing her cheek. "No it's fine darling. Believe me mother knows she can be intimidating. Imagine being a child and growing up around that." He scoots closer caressing her cheek warmly. "I'll talk to her once I get back inside." He tilts her head planting a soft kiss on her lips.

She moans very softly against his lips. Not the kind of moan that told him she was getting a little frisky for some loving. The kind that told him she was so very content with his lips against hers and her life around her. "Thank you for understanding love. I don't want to insult your mother. I just... I'm not use to this and it's hard to get use to it shut up in my room all day long where I can't learn."

He smiles as he caresses her cheek softy. "I'll seek out my sister after our time in the garden." He brushes a strand of her hair back over her ear. "And don't worry things will certainly come to you in time." His lips curl up in a devious grin. "You know love there is no one else around." He grind as his hand comes to rest on her leg his teasing obvious

Her eyes go wide a moment before she tosses her head back and forth to look around, before turning back to him again, her hand moving to stop his, "Lund..." her voice was in a tone that spoke of warning to him. "Anyone could walk out here at any time. It's an open garden for anyone to enter. This is not our room."

He smiles soflty taking her hand kissing it warmly. "I was only teasing you love." He leans in and kisses her cheek softly leaning in closer to her. His eyes twinkle with laughter as he hugs her softly. "I wouldn't dare risk something like that. Not unless you ask me to." He winks placing another kiss on her lips.

"Well..." she smiles a little back, almost deviously really as she draws her lips near to his ear and whispered, "Maybe, if you are VERY good, I will one day allow such a scandalous thing to be dared, but only when I am well enough to move about on my own. I should like to be quick enough to hide my shame if someone comes interrupting us."

He lets out a soft groan at her whisper as he glances back towards the doorway. After making sure no one is near he presses his lips to hers passionately. His lips stay on hers for a few fierce moments before breaking away smiling softly at her. "I love you Kiana." He smiles as he repositions himself on the bench so his head is laying in her lap as he relaxes with her. "Father told me the other night that he didnt send Jak to greet us when we entered the valley. He came on his own."
