The second that the rag left her mouth... she looked him right in the eyes and spoke in an alarmingly, chillingly calm manner. Her words were calculated and tainted with an intense hate. "Hear me Jas and listen very well, for this is the last time I will EVER speak to you. Today... you have killed me. You have done this in killing Gaisse, my love. Any affection I held for you still is dead with him and with my soul. You are the most vile, fowl, disgusting waste of life I have ever had the misfortune to meet. I wish I have never laid eyes on you let alone spoken to you or at any time cared for you. You have taken all the hopes and dreams I ever had for myself more the once. You took them from me when I cared for you only to abandon me and even worse, you have taken the them from me again today. Today was suppose to be the happiest day of my life. I was going to be a wife to the love of my life, but you have robbed me of it. And now I have nothing left to live for. Nothing to do but wait. I wait now only for the day that the devil finally drags you down into the fires of hell where you belong. That, and that alone will not be the happiest day of my life. I hope you are happy knowing you have killed the only thing you seemed to have ever loved." She drew back and spit right into his face, "You are a murdering pig shit!"

Kiana was so very tired and her fever, which had been going down, was starting to rise back up again from the stress of this moment. Yet through it she had to act, she could not let Gaisse die. If she had not sent him back after the trail, he would not lie dying at this moment. She had to act and act quickly. Sending Lund off to set the baby back into the nursery, she told him she would need his help directly after. She went on ahead to see the damage for herself.
It was fair worse then she imagined it would be. Never before had she seen a man survive a wound like this. It was a great shock that the wound had not already killed him. Pulling up her shelves and tying back her hair, Kiana started on the hardest healing task of her life. She only prayed that she could save him.
