Jas grits his teeth silently together for a few moments. "If he is so worried about you then why is he not here. I braved that storm last night to come to your rescue." He moves towards her once more as he touches her arm. "Don't push me away again Lily, I love you."

-----
Lund is at the front of the riders that come storming out of the manor. He is the first out despite his fathers protest. Once at her side he pulls her on to his saddle. "Kiana what were you thinking going out like that. You could have been hurt."

Lily shakes her head, "And how do YOU not know that he is out here looking for me right now? If the storm was as terrible as you say, he might had had to take cover. Or knowing my father's forces, forced to return to the manor." She sighed heavily and smiled at him, warmly, taking his hand like a friend, "Jas... we have been over this. This thing you feel to be love, it can only truly be love if it's returned. You are dear to me Jas but... I love Gaisse."

----
Kiana did not protest finding comfort in her husband's arms. Her weakness however is rather obvious as she can just barely wrap her arms around him, "We had to follow the trail or the rain would have washed it away for good. I was thinking it was the only way to find Lily. You had best send the men onward with Gaisse, he knows where the trail last lead. There is still a chance to get her back..." she rested her head weakly against his shoulder, not mentioning the lump on the back of her head or the fever rapidly spreading through her to him.

Jas turns to follow her slowly as he grits his teeth together for a moment. "The only thing he has that I dont is money. I can give you everything else your heart desires." He moves to her taking her hand as he holds on to her tightly. "Please Lily, Im begging you to give me one last chance. Youve dont it before, so why not this time." He leans in and presses his lips to hers softly.

-----
Lund holds tightly to Kiana shaking his head quickly. "You are burning up love. What happened out here?" He turns watching the men ride off after Gaisse." He swallows as he turns to head back into the manor. "Im going to have Nessa take a look at you." Riding into the manor he calls out for Nessa as he slips from his saddle pulling her down gently.

"Give you one last change.... again?" She shakes her head and laughs at the irony of that statement. "Are you listening to yourself? Am I just suppose to keep on giving you? That is not a reasonable request to ask of me. Beg all that you like but my mind if made up in this matter. Please understand. Please."

------
"That would be a good idea..." she murmured to him as she rested her head upon his shoulder and went about telling him what had happened while she had a clear mind. Or at least as clear as she was sure it soon would be, "We rode out and it started to rain. Lightening frightened the horses. I feel. Hit my head. We sought shelter in a cave."

Jas shakes his head slowly as he runs his fingers across her cheek. "Im only asking you for this last chance. A chance to show you that I still love you and want to have a life with you. Dont you remember when you asked me to marry you, when we were going to run away to the temple. I want that all back." His head comes down almost kissing her.

----
Lund shakes his head as he yells for Nessa again. His arms hold her carefully as he moves to help lay her on their bed. "You shouldnt have gone out there like that. What if something else had gone wrong Kiana?" His fingers press against her cheek as he looks into her eyes.

Lily quickly gives him nothing but her cheek to kiss, as she flinched a moment, "You did runaway... only you left me behind when you did. You left me and the love I once had for you behind and it killed that love. It can't come back again. It's dead. Jas I'm sorry. You can't change how my heart feels," just as she couldn't seem to change his either.

---------
Kiana smiled softly at him, just being close to him making her feel a bit better, "It's not as bad as it seems and I knew if something really went wrong... I could trust you would come find me. Save me." She sighed and shut her eyes, "I just need rest and something for the swelling on the back of my head. Nessa will know which herb blend to make...." she popped open an eye, "I could always teach you so you don't have to rely on Nessa all the time when it comes to me."

Jas scowls softly as she presents her cheek to him to kiss. "I know it cant be dead Lily. My love for you has only grown." He sighs softly as he tilts her head up trying to press his lips to hers softly. "I want us to start a family Lily. To be a husband and wife." He strokes her cheek again tenderly as he looks into her eyes.

----
Lund smiles softly as he watches her face. "Arent you afraid I might mix the wrong herbs? Make something that might have an interesting effects on you." He smirks softly as he moves over to bring her herb basket closer. "Alright tell me what I need to mix up for you." Pulling the blanket off he begins to dig through the herbs watching her.

"Wha-!" she was starting to protest before his lips feel upon hers. This total arrogance and unwillingness to just listen to the words coming out of her mouth had just hit an explosive point. She suddenly pulled back her hand and slapped him across the face in a rage. "WHY DO YOU NOT LISTEN TO ME! Love for you GROWN? The only thing that has grown for you is my HATE in how you will not listen to me. Jas. Listen to every word that is about to come from my lips. I. DON'T. LOVE. YOU!"

-----
She starts to point out each herb he is to use in her brew, telling him how much of each to put in her the little bowl he would need to blend them. At some point, Nessa pops her head in, ready to help but upon seeing the pair, she smiles and leaves them be. She would stay close at hand if she was needed. Eventually all he had to do was heat her water and soak the herbs. "See, that was not so very hard, was it?"

His eyes flash in anger at her words, body beginning to tremble as rage burns through his mind. "I will teach you to love me again then. You will never see that man again. Then you will know you still love me and not some lord who bought your hand in marriage." Grabbing a piece of rope he uses it to begin tying her wrist tightly, his anger evident. Once he manages to get her wrist bound he lifts her up tossing her over one shoulder. "I have a cabin for us to stay in."

-----
Lund follows each of her instructions carefully as he mixes the herbs in the small bowl. "I dont understand how you keep all of this straight my love. I can barely keep my families financial books straight." He smiles as he moves to heat some water up to soak the herbs in. Moving to sit on the edge of the bed he smiles at her tenderly.

She could tell she had made a mistake in hitting him the moment after when she saw his eyes and the rage within them. She struggled against him as he was rough in wrapping the rope round her wrists. "You're hurting me and scaring me now Jas! Just leave me BE! Why would you want me when I don't want you! I will never want you again! Especially if you keep this madness up! My mind is made up! OW! STOP IT! Put me DOWN!" She struggled against him but then something he said snapped into place. "Wait... you have a cabin for... us? Jas.... did you PLAN this?!"

-------
She laughed slightly as she settled back and waited for the brew. She was tired but it would help her rest and heal faster so she waited for it. "You learn in time. Just like I am sure you will learn the books as well, you just need to give it the time." She opened her eyes, "Will you have someone bring the baby? I will likely sleep awhile and I should like to see her and feed her before I sleep."

Jas seems to be ignoring her words for the moment as he carries her out to his horse. "If you dont shut your mouth m'lady then I will dump you into the mud. See how you like wallowing in it like the rest of us." He adjust her slightly, letting his shoulder push into her stomach. "You think I would plan this, and put you into such danger?" Laughing softly as he tosses her on to his saddle, using a second rope to secure her to it. "Im doing this to win you back."

----
Laughing softly he sets the bowl down next to her. "Of course, Ill send for Sarah right now." Moving to the door he stops a maid giving her his orders rather quickly. Once he is back at her side he smiles softly, sniffing at the brew in the bowl. "Wow this doesnt exactly smell like it should be something that would heal you."

"By kidnapping me?! THAT is how you plan to win me back?! OW!" she cried out again as he tied her to tight to the saddle to the point she could hardly move let alone fight him. "You are being crazy Jas! This is utter madness! YOU are MAD!"

-----
Kiana laughed, "It takes some getting use to the smell, I will admit, but once you do, it's the sweetest most relaxing brew..." she seemed to just let it's aroma fill her lungs before sighing in an almost relief before sipping at it. "Mmmm, would you like to taste it?"

Jas continues to ignore her words as he pulls a rag from his saddle bags. "Would you like me to gag you Lily?" He holds the rag up to let her see it better as he waits for her answer. "I would rather us be allowed to tal..." He turns slowly as he hears the sounds of a horse coming closer to the cabin. He lets out a quick curse as he unhooks his sword getting it ready for action. "Love does make you mad Lily. I do love you no matter what you think of me."

----
He smiles softly as he takes a soft sip of the brew. His face curls slightly at the taste shuddering. "Definitely not something I could get used to my dear." Leaning over he kisses her cheek softly. "Why did you go out there with Lord Gaisse Kiana, I cant believe you did something like that. Im supposed to be the brash one not you."

"Talk? TALK?! Why would I want to talk to you when you don't LISTEN to me!" She is ready to just accept the gag into her lips when the sound of the horse approaching has her heart skipping a beat as she struggles from her tied position to look up and see who was going to appear from the trees at any moment. There was still hope.

-------
She smiled at his reaction to the brew before rising it to her lips to sip again, "I went because I knew if I didn't he would have gone alone. I feared he could have gotten hurt out there and been all alone with no help. If he had fallen off his horse like I had, he would have been laying out in the mud all night in the rain by himself. You certainly were not about to go out after your own sister, so I did it."

Jas turns towards her arching his eyebrow at her. "I will listen when you decide to start making sense." He turns taking the reigns of his horse up. "I don't believe that you hate me. I think you need to see what I have to offer you exactly." He kisses her cheek as he keeps walking hoping to get out of the clearing before the rider arrives.

-----
"I had to make sure the castle was secure first. I couldn't just run off, what if I had and there was an attack that left our daughter vulnerable." He takes her hand gently kissing the knuckles. Letting her hand go he smiles at her warmly.

The way he moved the horse, she could not longer see the direction that the horse and it's rider were in. She didn't know who it was or who it might be even. Friend or foe it was a risk she had to take right now as she started to scream, "Help! HELP ME! He's kidnapping me! HELP!"

----
"There is no danger upon the castle. There never was. Don't ask me how I know but I do and I did then. Something in me just knows it was him. That man. The one that Lily was involved with. I know it was him. It is why I left for I knew Sarah was save here." A smile lit up her face as a maid appeared then as if on cue, "Speaking of my little angel..." she said as she held out her arms to take the baby from the maid, who excused herself again. Kiana smiled down as she tended to her little one, who looked very cross that mommy had not been around all the night before for her.

Jas growls as he shoves the rag into her mouth, but not before the damage has been done. Turning the horse as his sword is drawn, just as Gaisse comes riding into the clearing. "Good I will end this pursuit before it gets started. Leaving his horse behind he advances on the man. They meet in the middle of the clearing swords clashing together producing sparks. It is apparent quickly that both men are talented with their blades. They dance through the clearing blades clashing as they spin.

----
Lund smiles as Sarah js brought in to them. "Sarah doesn't seem to be very happy that you left her." He smiles softly as he lets Kiana take their daughter. "How close did you two get to finding Lily?" He leans over to whistle for Sarah.

The rag is in her mouth before she could even give out her joy vocally of Gaisse's arrival. Actually, what she wished to say was a great big 'told you so.' She KNEW that he would come looking for her! She KNEW he loved her enough to not sit back and let her be taken from him on their wedding day. She had to tilt her head a little uncomfortably to be able to watch the battle between them.

----
"I don't know..." she confessed as Sarah fed yet her eyes watched her father as she got exactly what he wanted from each parent at the same time. "We followed the trail a ways into the woods until the rain became to strong and I feel from my horse. We took shelter then in a cave for the rest of the night. I don't know how much further into the wood the trail went."

Jas growls as they continue to spin and clash. Gaisse is so happy to see Lily, but he has to focus for now. From her vantage point she can see his movements are slowing. His body exhausted from the night before having not slept. Jas presses his advantage scoring the first hit in a deep slash across Gaisses shoulder as the man slips in the mud. Before he can press the advantage Gaisse is back up blocking what would have been a killing blow.

----
Lund smiles as he plays with Sarah's foot while she eats. "I wanted to run out after Lily love, but once father knew of the abduction he wouldn't believe that it was anyone, but Jaks old allies crawling out of the dark pit they belong in.

Lily wanted to cry out into her gag her rage of seeing Gaisse hit with such a blow but she knew better then to distract him during a fight for his life. She kept on watching at the man danced in battle, praying for her gallant knight to be the victor in this circumstance. All she wanted was to ride back home with him and be married. It would be a fine story about their exciting and eventful wedding day.

----
"No matter who it was, Lily should have been more important. Her and her safety. Your father of all people should have carried about that. Hell if not for us riding back, those other guards would not have been out there now looking for her. What, would your father just sit and wait for her to show back up upon his doorstep?"

Jas smiles as Gaisse stumbles again from another slash across his lower back. Gasping softly Gaisse starts to stand, but Jas sword drives straight through him. His sword barely misses the man's heart as he gasp at the pain, eyes looking towards his beloved. Pushing the man into the dirt he sheathes his sword running towards his horse. Throwing himself into the saddle he takes off believing that he has killed the man.

---
Lund lets out a sigh as he stands slowly. "I would have begged father to let me go after her." He runs his fingers through his hair as he begins to pace. "I wouldn't have let her be out there all alone." He growls softly as he keeps pacing.

"NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!" Lily screams into her gag, struggling like wild not in the saddle as much as she could. This was not happening! NO! THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING! This was her wedding day! She was suppose to be getting married today yet she was watching her groom as he fell to the ground into a lifeless pile. As the horse galloped off, Lily struggled to keep looking towards Gaisse, waiting to see him get back up. He had to get up. He just.... he had to!

----
"Don't pace so much love. You'll stress yourself thin. Come... take your daughter. I fear that I can keep myself awake no longer. I... I must rest..." she yawned as she waited for him to take the baby as she was even to weak to hand her over to him.

Jas glances back as well, looking to see if there will be anymore pursuit of them. He lays his hand on Lily's back swallowing. "I'm sorry it had to come to this Lily." his hand rubs her back as he takes her deeper into the woods. Knowledge of the land helps him avoid the dangers present there. As they get further away the riders find Gaisse. His breathing us shallow, but they get him up and head straight for the manor yelling for the healer as they get close enough.

-----
Nodding softly he moves to the bed to take Sarah. He cradles her close whistling for her. "I'm sure I can think of something to entertain our poor daughter." laughing tenderly he begins teasing the small girl.

Lily does nothing to respond to him, her face it looking down and away to the point that he could not see the look to total and complete betrayal and grief upon her face. When that gag came from her lips though... oh he was going to hear it.

-----
Kiana was just closing her eyes when the cry to the healer rang through the hall, she moved to sit up a bit just as a maid burst into the room. "Lord Gaisse has been gravely wounded! He may very well be dead already or close to it!" Kiana started to move into action, though slower noticeably then usual.

Jas ignores Lily for now letting the muddy ground cloud the path they use to get way from the clearing. His hand rest on he back smiling at his defeat of Gaisse. "Things will be better now Lily. You will see that for yourself soon enough." He pats her back tenderly as they ride for most of the day coming upon a smaller cabin. Pulling her down slowly he tugs the rag from her mouth.

----
Gaisse coughs harshly his skin pale and his shirt soaked in a mixture of blood and mud. His lips part slightly as he whispers Lilys name. Angus orders him carried inside to a warm bed. The fire is stoked trying to keep the room warm as they wait for Kiana and her bag of healing.
