Lund blinks a couple of times as he has his hand placed upon her belly. His eyes go wide for a moment before he lets out a quick laugh. His hands move to her hips picking her up and spinning her slowly in the air. "How long have you known love?"

She smiled and held her arms around his neck to hold onto him as he spun her about. "Not long. I have had had a feeling for awhile but I wanted to be sure. I have not had my courses since... well since that night you tied me up.... to the ceiling." She blushed a little bit thinking about how it was very possible that their second child might have very well been conceived as she hung from a rope.

Lund laughs heartily as he sets her down enjoying the blush that works it's way across her cheeks. "Well I will certainly have to get those ropes out again when it's time for us to have another." He cups her face between his hands kissing her passionately. "Does Nessa know, Angus will be upset when I tell him." dropping to his knees he presses his head against her stomach closing his eyes happily.

She laughed slightly, resting her hand upon the back of his head, she laced her fingers through his locks tenderly. Enjoying this moment with him, "Actually... you are both finding out you are both to be fathers again on the same night...."

Laughing softly he turns to kiss her stomach. "I should have known Angus wouldn't let himself be outdown." He turns his head to look up at her smiling tenderly. "I love you Kiana." He closes his eyes as he onces again presses his face against her stomach. He smiles as he places a couple of soft kisses on her stomach. "Sarah is going to be jealous that she has to share us."

She smiled yet the smile was sad a moment as she glanced out the window once again, sighing. She felt guilty suddenly. There was so much joy in this manor at the moment and yet Lily was out there somewhere. It felt guilty being so happy when somewhere, Lily must feel so sad and alone.

Lund stands slowly as he hugs Kiana tightly. Nuzzling her neck softly he whispers her name tenderly. "Were going to find her love, I promise you that. Then we will see them married and off to their own life." He wraps his arms around her waist kissing her cheek softly. Closing his eyes he nuzzles her softly.

Kiana tried to smile and nodded a little, hugging herself to him. She could see the added sparkle in this eyes this news brought him and to give him just that little something to hold onto filled her were a bit of joy. She looked out the window over the land and to the sunset beyond. She still held hope that he was right, yet how long could that hope last?

It was another week before Gaisse was cleared to leave his bed and move about, but still another month after that to be given the all clear to start his training with Angus. Two weeks of a base training before they kicked it up into high gear. From dawn until dusk, Angus devoted himself entirely to training Gaisse to face off with Jas once more. Every time though that it seemed there was nothing left for him to learn, Angus revealed something new and the training continued onward. It was 3 months of this vigorous training over the winter months before Angus finally patted Gaisse upon the back and told him... he was ready. At once, Gaisse became the head of the searches for Lily even with winter still having a hold upon the land and spring still just a promise. It gave Lund a bit of time to spend with this growing wife and Angus with his as well.

Gaisses first idea is to return to where he dueled with Jas the second time they met. Swallowing softly he touches his chest where the man's blade had come plunging through him. Shaking it off off he begins searching the area moving slowly trying to keep an eye out for anything that stands out. Swallowing slowly he leads his horse as he heads in the direction he hazily saw them take off in. He whispers Lily's name as he begins to search the woods, glancing up as he searches for any smoke trailing off into the sky.

----
Jas steps into the bedroom that Lily is using carrying a tray of food for her. He pauses in the door way smiling at her warmly. "I brought you some fresh food. I managed to bring a deer down, it should keep us pretty well feed for the next few days." Moving slowly he brings the tray around to her. "I dont like leaving you alone like this."

Lily just stared at the wall as he entered, yet her hands were busy as she worked on some knitting in her hand. She had to make some kind of clothing for her baby after all. Oh yes. Her belly was just rounding with the sign of the pending arrival of her child with Jas. It only took on time but Jas had certainly gotten what he wanted. There was no way she could ever leave him now. He held a claim upon her as the father of her child. Bastard child or not. Even if she got away from this place, on man would have her. She only felt terribly sorry for the child. It was not child made of love but she would to her best to love it all the same. As best as she possibly could.

Jas sits down beside Lily watching her hands work on the knitting. Setting the tray down, he reaches over to touch her stomach tenderly. "You are are looking absolutely stunning today." Smiling he leans over to kiss her cheek softly. "Are you feeling warm enough love? I can add some more logs to the fire if you need more heat." He stands slowly making sure the stove is putting out some heat for her. "Do you think our child will be born by spring?"

------
Gaisse continues to travel pausing as he comes across a pool of blood in the snow. Kneeling down beside it he glances around quickly, before picking up the broken arrow shaft. With a smile he stands starting to track the trail left by dragging an animal over the fresh snow. "Im coming Lily, just hold on for just alittle longer."

Lily... said nothing to him. She had stood by her promise even after all this time. She was amazed at her own strength to have gone 5 months not saying a word to him. She wondered sometimes if he thought she has spoken from time to time. If he perhaps made up conversations between them in his own mind for he acted as if she was happy about this whole thing. Happy to be starting a family and it was what they both wanted. With a sigh, she shook her head and just kept on knitting.

Jas grits his teeth softly as he continues to watch her for a moment. Swallowing softly he moves to present the tray to her once more. "You need to eat Lily. If not for yourself, then for our child." Smiling at her still he turns to uncover the window in the bedroom, that he has made for her. After the first couple of weeks he had wanted her to get some sunlight without the chance of escaping. So he had made the window just large enough for her to stare out, but not big enough to crawl through. As he turns back to her, his smile is still there.

-----
Gaisse pauses seeing the smoke from the chimney as he comes around a small trail. A soft smile spreads across his face believing he has found the cabin and Lily. Leaving his horse behind he begins sneaking around the edge of the cabin. He pauses at the window peering in as he sees a man with his back turned to him, and just behind the man is the woman he loves. Swallowing softly he feels his heart swell, not able to see the full extent of her condition.

Sighing, she has no choice but to admit that he is right in this matter. Not looking towards the window, she puts her knitting down and turns the chair, her back now to the window as well. She had to wonder if her child would be locked up the same way she was once it was born. The thought of the child not getting to run or play, just confined to a small room like her was no way to live.

Jas smiles as she moves to sit down and begin to eat. Leaning in he kisses her cheek softly. "Just let me know when your done eating. Ill be out in the main room." Brushing his fingers against her cheek, he turns stepping out of the room locking the door behind him. Once out of the room he begins humming to himself as he moves to the table, beginning to eat some of the food for himself.

-----
Gaisse swallows softly as he stays concealed for a moment. When he peaks in again Lily is alone with her back to him. Smiling softly he begins to tap on the window as softly as possible, hoping to get Lily's attention.

The second that the door was closed, like always she picked up her napkin and whipped off any trace of his kiss. She did it every time, but kept the action from his sight after so many times had made him angry. As she ate, she thought she heard something but simply wrote it off at a sound of the fireplace or Jas in the next room, going out back to picking at the food before her.

Gaisse slowly taps alittle harder still hoping to get her attention. "Lily!!" His voice is low, but sharp in its tone designed to get someones attention. Turning his head he makes sure he is still alone, but draws his sword just in case. Once his survey is complete he knocks on the window again. His actions are quiet, but insistent hoping to get her out the window before Jas returns to the room.

This time, she heard it. Her head raised up and she looked about, not seeing anything until she turned to look at the window. The still cold air on the outside and the warm air inside made the glass foggy so that she could not see through it. She only saw the blurred image outside the glass. Rising up she crossed the way, undid the latch and just slipped the one side open an inch to look out.

She was not ready for what she saw. She was face to face with....... "Gaisse.....?" her voice was small and in total shock as she pushed the little window open further to see more of him. Instantly, her eyes started to flood with tears. She didn't know if this was reality or a dream. She reached out and touched his cheek, gasping when she felt the warmth of his flesh. "I saw him kill you...."

Gaisse smiles brightly when the figure comes to the window the fog obscuring her form as he waits. He lets out a soft sound as she opens the window her eyes going wide. His hand comes up to hers kissing it softly. "He didnt kill me Lily, although he came damn close to it." Opening his shirt just alittle he shows her the scar where the blade come through. "Missed my heart by inches. Climb through the window, I wish to get you to safety before I confront him again."

Her face had lit up into a smile for a moment, until he told her to climb through the window. Reality hit her like a ton of bricks in that moment. Fate was so cruel. Why did it do this to her once again? She pulled her hand back and lowered her face away, "Oh Gaisse.... I can't fit through the window. I... I can't go with you. It's to late..." She stepped back from the window so he could see how she was not increasing. Her belly looked just about as far along as Lady Kiana as well as Nessa. "I.... I'm sorry. I didn't have a choice...." a moment later she realized that kind of danger he was in and she shook her head vigorously, "You have to go, before he discovers you were here!"

Blinking a couple of times he doesnt understand her refusal till she steps back letting him see her stomach. Swallowing softly he begins to shake his own head. "No Lily, Im getting you out of here. I wont let you stay here with that man any longer. I held my blade last time because you asked me to, but not this time." Reaching in he pulls her close and plants a soft loving kiss on her lips. "Besides we still have a wedding to attend. You my dear are five months late for our wedding." HIs words hold no mirth, just amusement as he looks into her eyes.

She felt a sharp pain hit her like an arrow to the heart, "You can't marry me now. Not like this. I was slightly damaged before but now I am no good to you or your land." She couldn't believe he would have waited this long for her. It must be a terrible disappointment to see her like this now. Lost time when he could have been off in his home with a real wife by now.

He lets out a short laugh as he begins to shake his head again. "Dont your remember Lily, my father had given up on me. Besides how could I marry someone else when my heart still aches for you." He brushes a strand of her hair back slowly. "Besides who else can I trust to bring her beautiful laughter to our new home." He leans in and kisses her once more letting the kiss linger for a moment

His lips against hers felt like coming home at long last and soon she clutched his face in her hands and held himself to him in the kiss, letting it last. "Oh Gaisse...." she whispered as she finally pulled back and rested her forehead against his. "I don't want you to get hurt! Go, get help!"

His fingers linger against her cheek for a few moments longer as he peers into her eyes. "Ive been training Lily, Angus prepared me for the fight with Jas." He winks at her softly as he studies her face slowly. "Just try to relax and when the time comes I want you to run." Pointing just over his shoulder he smiles. "I left my horse there, if you can get to him ride back to the manor. I will deal with Jas." He hesitates a moment not wanting this to end. "I love you Lily."
