Took only a few moments before the tent flap opened and the big man let Lund into the tent, "Indeed lad. Where else would I be? Come on in. Sit down and put your feet up a bit." Grego looked about, clearly expecting to see someone else but when he didn't see anyone there, "Where is the little woman?"

Tessa had laid out the green fabric and was marking it for the dress she was making.

He sighs as he sits down on a small chair adjusting his sword as he hangs his head. "Shes back at my tent working on her herbs. Shes abit upset at me again." He shakes his head as he picks up a glass pouring some wine into it. "I cant seem to make any correct step with her no matter what I try. If I buy her a dress she gets angry because it reminds her I bought her at the auction." He sighs downing the wine quickly.

"Women are not exactly my area of specialty I am afraid lad," Grego told him as he took the wine himself and pouring a cup before refilling Lund's as well. "Tessa, perhaps you can help my friend here understand what could be in the lady's mind?"

"Well..." Tessa started as she spoke while still working away at her task before her, "She was a lady of the village temple. They are not use to men being about them so she might very well be uncomfortable simply by that fact. How do you treat the girl. And I mean.... how do your treat her. It must be more then just a dress or two. Have you been harsh to her?"

He nods thanking Grego for the refilled cup of wine. "No Ive been good to her. I got this wound in my side from defending her from a couple of soldiers who wanted to give me back the gold I paid for her. You and I both now what they wanted her for Grego." He sighs as he quickly downs his wine offering it out for another refill. "I just cant seem to understand how to get her to know I mean her no harm. I just want her to know I want to treat her right." He sighs as he leans back in his chair.

"Well, then treat her right," was Tessa's simple answer. Could it be that simple. "But do it at pace she can handle. You only know her a few days, try to smother her in affection and she will only reject it. And besides," she smirked a little like someone had just shared an amusing secret, "Back in my day, when boys would be trying to get my attention, I found I liked it better when a boy played it cool and a bit aloof. The ones that were constantly beating on my door.... clingy. The ones charming yet gave me my space were more interesting." She paused to look towards Grego, "Though NOW I am beyond that in my wiser years. Let her come to you in her time lad. Otherwise, you'll only push her away."

He nods softly as he rubs his chin setting the cup down. "Alright I will try it your way Tessa." He stands slowly as he stretches out slowly. "Ill see you later Grego. I will need to speak with you about a few things before you leave." He pats the man on the shoulder before turning and heading back towards his tent. "Kiana is it alright if I come in?" He waits outside glancing around slowly.

"It's your tent..." was her only reply from within which was likely the best thing to a yes he was going to be getting for the moment. When he came inside, she had a small fire in the pit with a pot over top of it, something within it cooking away. "You'll need to wait until this cools a bit before I can tend your wound with it..." she did not raise her eyes to look at him as he entered.

He nods as he sets his sword down over the edge of the cot. He turns to look at her watching her slowly. "Should I go ahead and remove my shirt Kiana?" He begins unbuttoning the shirt his eyes still on her. "Im sorry for my words to you earlier Kiana. If you wish Ill have tessa stop her work on the dresses."

She did not look up as she took the pot off the flames and took it to the table, mixing away at it. His question had her thinking and she did the most logical thing, "One dress is fine... in a simple fabric... and yes, you can take of the shirt, do you need help with it?" she asked as she prepped the table with her skills showing this time.

He nods to her request of one dress sighing softly. His fingers work deftly to undo the shirt before starting to lift the shirt up. He bites back a gasp feeling a couple of the stitches rip from his side. He coughs softly as he pauses letting the shirt hide his pain filled face. He takes a couple of slow breathes before working the shirt all the way off. He turns his head looking at the wound as it begins to bleed again.

She could not be fooled. The moment he hesitated to finish removing his shirt, she was as his side, hands on her hips glaring down at him and at the bloody bandages. "Come on," she put her hands under his arm to help him move towards the table where she was set up for him. Slowly she started to remove the bandages and was soon kneeling at his side to look at the wound. "You can't strain yourself much for a few days or this will never heal. She stood and went to start threading a needle.

He hesitates before moving to the table sitting down and propping his arm up to give her free access. He stays silent as she probes at the wound just wining slightly from time to time. "I guess Ill go without the shirt unless it will make you uncomfortable Kiana." He keeps his eyes off her swallowing softly as he stares at the side of the tent. His fingers curl and uncurl as he forces himself to keep his eyes off her.

She bit her lower lip a little bit, but he did not see it thankfully. "That does seem like it would be best." Kiana failed however to tell him if it would bother her or not. In some ways it did, but in others.... she did enjoy looking at him...

Once the needle was threaded she burnt the metal over a candle. Kneeling once again, she got to work, starting to restitch him. "Just think, if this closes up you'll not have to deal with having this pain again," she joked with a smile.

He smiles softly as he nods feeling her start to restitch the wound. He winces slightly as he hesitates looking down at the wound before looking away again. His eyes lock on to the side of the tent once more as he begins popping his fingers one at a time. A small shiver runs through his body as she works. "Ill try to keep still for a few days then. Nothing important going on then."

She did not seem at all bothered by the sight of his wound as she worked away at it. "Hold still," she scrolled him when he shivered, even though she knew it could not be helped when you had to shiver. "That's the spirit," was said as he spoke of really taking her advise for once. There was a tense silence between them for awhile before she started the conversation again, "I'm sorry. I got a little temperamental earlier. I've always had a habit of acting first before thinking and being ashamed of the things I have done later." Did she speak more of the fight or of the night they had shared?

He lets out another soft sigh. "I dont believe you have anything you need to apologize for." He glances over at his saddle bags making a quick calculation in his head. "Do you want to go with Tessa and Grego? You could go with them and start your own healing shop. Then you wouldnt have to worry about me anymore." He glances back towards the same spot on the side of the tent swallowing softly.

His sudden comments that were a change of his earlier behavior had her pause, but only a moment before she continued on her work. "I don't know. I have never thought about opening my own shop. I never needed to think about it before.... I don't think I could do something like that. Tessa gives me more credit then I deserve. I'm still learning."

He starts to stretch but stops feeling the stitches stretch again. "Should I lay back down priestess?" He finally turns his head towards her but his eyes dont really look at her face, but a spot a few inches above her head. "I..I" He shakes his head swallowing whatever thought he had been about to give thought to.

"No, I am almost done and I still need to put the herb mixture over it and wrap you again which will be impossible if you are lying down. Just hold on a little while longer." At first she seemed to be ignoring that he had been about to say something to her. That is until she finished off her stitch and went to retrieve the mixture, "What were you going to say?" she asked while she worked on giving it one last mix.

He swallows softly as he adjust himself slightly before keeping himself still once more. "It was nothing important is all." He turns his head to stare down at the small fire she has burning in the tent. He reaches out with one hand grabbing his water bag taking a deep drink from it.

Returning, she knelt beside him again and put some of the herbs on her hand. "This might sting a little..." she warned a moment before she started to apply the warm, paste like mixture to the wound area. "I want to know. You can't leave me wondering. That's not very fair to tease me with a single word before changing you mind. If you will not tell me what it was, will you tell me what changed your mind in saying it?"

He jerks slightly feeling the paste on his wound. "That does sting alittle. I think you take pleasure in torturing me like this sometimes." He shrugs softly as he watches her hand work. "I changed my mind because most of what I say seems to upset you." He sighs softly again as he takes a drink from his canteen.

"You have not upset me in awhile," she commented as she smiled ever so slightly, "a few hours at least. I promise I will not be horribly upset with you. Even if I am, I will try and hide it best I can." She finished rubbing the mixture over him, she stood, washing her hands in some water before she picked up some fabric scraps to start wrapping him up.

He forces himself to smile at her joke. After feeling her finish rubbing the mixture in he stands to give her better access to wrap the fabric around his waist to cover the wound. Once she has it wrapped he takes another drink of water then moves to the cot laying down slowly. He covers his eyes with his arm afraid to look at her for now.

"I have upset you..." she said as if stating a fact rather then asking a question. She stands at the table, cleaning up all the supplies in her work area. After she was all cleaned up, she moved towards the flap of the tent, "You need to eat something, I'll be back with food for you." She did not wait to see if he was going to join her in the walk through the camp to the food tent, she just walked out.
