She handed the dress to Kiana and pushed her off behind a sheet she had hung up a few days before for him to change behind without her having to leave the tent, "You put this one dear..." Tessa told her as she came forth, hands on her hips.

Grego laughed as he lifted his cup, "Uh oh, she's got her hands on her hips... you're about to get an earful lad..." he warned.

"I will not accept money without earning it. And besides, you are to late. I have already started work on the second two dresses. I did all the cutting at once on all three, just only put this one together so the girl with have something to wear. If you didn't need three dresses, you should have told me only one from the start. I'm afraid you are stuck with the second two."

"Now Tessa," Kiana's voice came a moment before she came around the hanging cloth in her dress, "Are you sure there is nothing you can do to salvage the fabric without finishing them?" She did not realize at first how Grego's jaw was hanging open at the sight of her in the dress, and how Tessa smiled smugly at her work well done. Kiana looked, in a word, breathtaking in the dress Tessa had made for her. The way her fiery red hair sat upon the rich green cloth, she looked like a princess.

He laughs softly at Grego lifting his own glass to take a sip from it as he holds up a hand to surrender to the woman. "Alright you can finish the dresses and Ill pack them away till shes ready to wear them." He sits back down on the cot giving Grego a look laughing softly before turning towards Kiana hearing her voice as she steps out from behind the sheet. HIs own jaw drops as he looks at her breathing slowly at the sight before. "Ki.." He smiles unable to finish his sentence as he stands once more swallowing heavily.

Kiana looks from person to person as they all just seemed to stare at her. "What?" she asked, "Is there something wrong?" she turned around giving them all a view of her in the perfectly fitted dress from different angles. "Does it fit alright?"

"Lass," Grego started, "I've never seen a dress fit a girl so perfectly in my life." He raised his cup to Tessa, "And I'm proud to say that the lady that made it is mine."

"You flatter me sweet Grego," Tessa said with a blush as she moved then to sit beside him at the table.

Meanwhile, Kiana looked to Lund who was still staring, "Well if the dress fits then why are you looking at me like that?" She put her hands on her hips, waiting for a reply.

He forces himself to swallow again as he takes a deep drink from the wine before turning to answer her. "You look absolutely stunning in that dress Kiana.Ive never seen anything like it." He moves to her gently touching her cheek as he leans in and places a soft kiss on her lips ignoring the fact that both Grego and Tessa are in the same tent their eyes upon them as he delievers the kiss.

His compliment stunned her at how sweet it was and also how it warmed her heart to know that he appreciated and complemented her appearance. He had not kissed her in days, since he had started to watch himself around her. It was odd... for she had not realized how much she enjoyed his kisses until she had not had one in a few days. When he kissed her now... she paused a moment, then leaned back in to kiss him a second time in return.

He slips an arm around her waist smiling softly at feeling her return the kiss. He deepens the kiss slowly as his hand eases back along her cheek moving to run through her hair softly. He slowly breaks the kiss pulling his head back just enough to look into her eyes a soft smile on his face as he watches her still.

Kiana was about to lean back in for another kiss when the sound of Grego clearing her throat had her brought to attention and she took a step back from him, a red blush across her cheeks. "Should we... leave you two be?" Grego asked with a hint of amusement in his voice.

He smiles at her clearing his own throat as he looks into her eyes for a moment longer. He turns reaching out with his hand to capture hers and give it a gentle squeeze. "I think were ok for now Grego." He reaches out taking the cup of wine and offering some of it to her.

She took it and game him a little nod as thanks, afraid to open her mouth that she might make a fool of herself in that moment. Taking a big swig of the drink in her hand as she took a seat at the table. Had that really just happened? And did she really want more kisses like that from him? Oh dear...

He takes a seat slowly next to her as he takes a drink from his own glass. His hand reaches over to take her hand smiling as he intertwined their fingers together softly. "So how have things been going for you Grego?" he moves to pick up the wine bottle offering to refill Kianas glass first.

She takes the offered refill and with the second cup, sips at is slowly, not letting it go to her head. Sitting she listened as well to what Grego had to say, "Things are well indeed! We make plans to leave this place once your order is complete. I bought a cart so that I may take what is mine with us." He looked as if he had a grand idea, "You said you had plans to leave as well. The cart is big enough for your belongings as well. We can take you where ever you are going since we don't know where we are on our way to either."

He smiles at her as he sips his own drink glancing towards the tent flap. "I plan on heading east towards my homelands. Grego I consider you a friend so I have to admit to you that I have a secret I've been hiding from everyone but Kiana. I'm a nobleman where I come from." He watches gregos face worried about his friends reaction to his admission

Tessa's face grew more surprised then Grego's, who's face just settled in a respectful smile. "I always thought you had better manners then the usual slime that fights in these army's. If you blood is blue, it matters not to me. If anything, it only makes me respect you more. There are not many of the noble class that would fight, even if it needed to happen. Most would buy their way out of it. That you have not only fought and fought well.... you have earned my respect lad even more today lad. It would be an honor to escort a fine man such as you safely to your homeland."

He let's himself smile at gregos words nosing slowly. "It would be great to travel with you and perhaps I could find a place for you in my fathers court. I'll start getting my things ready and pack them up in the cart. Kiana can ride in the wagon or on my horse with me if she wishes." he takes another sip from his glass smiling at Kiana gently.

She sips her drink a bit more, blushing a little at his talk of them riding together. By now, such talk should not effect her as much, but little by little, Kiana was getting over her apprehensions about Lund and finding herself attracted to him. It was plan to her that if nothing else, they were at the very least friends by now. And while part of her wanted more, the other part was not apprehensive about getting hurt. He was still a nobleman where she was his humble slave. She would not think about thing going anywhere beyond this point until she reached his home and saw how his family accepted or rejected her.

He takes another sip not realizing her thoughts as he continues to lean back enjoying the simple meeting that is going on. He reaches into his bags pulling out a map. "Which way will be safer this time of year? The valleys or the mountain passes?" He glances up from the map watching Grego for a few moments before leaning back once more.

Grego looked over the map, rubbing his chin, "The mountain pass will take twice the time, but will be much safer. It's starting to grow colder in the higher elevations. Most will stick to the valleys. We may run into some snow along this pass," he pointed to a higher point on among the mountains, "but it is still early enough that it will only be light. The passes are much smaller and with the threat of such weather, the bandits will be coming down from them for the winter. We might run into some in passing, but I think far less troubles will face us in the mountains. It would be best to leave as soon as possible. If we are to travel together, we need not wait for Tessa to finish the dresses. She can work along the way and when we arrive. It would be best to get out of her within the next 48 hours if we can. Before the army tries to pick up again and we end up drug along with them."

He leans back over the map his eyes tracing the routes as Grego discusses them. "Alright then that sounds good. You and I should be able to handle any bandits that decide to cause us any trouble. Kiana and I will head into town and get some dried food and other supplies we might need. Well drop them off at your tent then come back here to pack up our things." He glances to Kiana smiling at her gently.

She smiled back. It was all moving so fast but in a way, she was happy to be leaving so soon. This was once her home, but there was nothing left for her now in this place. It was a bit refreshing to be moving onward with her new life, even if it was not a life that was all of her choosing, it was better then nothing at all.

Tessa spoke up, "While you are there, you might want to try and find some blankets. It will be chilly in the mountains after all."

"And I should like to collect some of the herbs and take them with us," added Kiana, "I do not know what kind of herbs you have where your from and we may need them."

He nods softly as he listens to both request. "Well go collect the herbs first Kiana then we can dash into town for the supplies. And Ill make sure we have plenty of blankets." He leans in giving Kiana's cheek a soft peck before turning to grab both of their cloaks and a pouch for her to place the herbs into. He slips his hand into hers gently. "Now if youll excuse well get started on our business.:

Grego and Tessa bid them farewell for the time being. As they reached the edge of the wood, Kiara went about collecting her herbs and putting them into the pouch. As she knelt, she smiled up at him, "Thank you for letting them join us. It will be nice to have a few friends in your home so I don't feel left out."

He smiles shrugging softly as he holds on to his horses reigns watching her move. "I didnt realize Tessa was such a friend of yours." He glances around once more as he moves towards her gently taking her hands and easing her close as he leans in and presses his lips to hers softly. His hand moves to her cheek stroking softly as he holds the kiss enjoying it as his free arm begins to slide around her waist.

She is a little surprised as he kissed her. "What was that for?" she asked, whispering against his lips. Before he could answer though, she interrupted any reply from him with an answer for his question. "And we might not be the best of friends, but at least we know one another and will likely grow to be when we are traveling together for so long. It will be nice to know someone in your home."

He smiles his arm still around her waist as he has his lips inches from hers. "I did it because I enjoyed it Kiana. Should I have another reason for wanting to kiss your soft lips?" He smiles looking into her eyes gently. His arm around her waist gives it a soft squeeze before he leans in giving her another kiss.

She found herself, frozen in her arms. It had been a few days since they had shared intimate kisses such as these were. More and more she was realizing how much she had really liked them and missed them. But the sun was starting to sink in the sky. Kiana pulled her lips away, reluctant but always thinking sensibly, "We need to get into town.... before it gets to late..." There would be time after all for this later on back in the tent.
