Lund pauses as she mentions coming to dinner that night. He turns back frowning once more as he shakes his head. "I dont think that will be such a good idea Lily. After your rough day I think it best if you were to simply rest up for now." He pats Kiana's hand softly as he watches Lily still frowning at her.

-----
Gaisse stands watching them, blinking at Lily's comment. Suppressing a soft laugh as he coughs into his hand knowing almost full well how this will most likely turn out after seeing how easily she made her brother bend on the idea of a bodyguard.

"But..." Lily started to pout once more, "but..." her lip just gently started to quiver a hint. Just a hint to get his attention. "I have such little time left before I'll be leaving and I want that time to spend with my brother. My sister. My little niece. I will miss seeing her first steps and her first words... can't you just give me one little dinner with you all?"

Lund tries to frown deeper, but is cut off seeing just a hint of her bottom lip quiver as he glances away gritting his teeth together. "As long as Kiana says it is alright for you to be about....then you may still join us for dinner." He glances back at her still frowning slightly, but nothing as deep as when she first started to protest. "I do not wish to be responsible for my sister hurting herself again."

Kiana looked as Lily and gave her a look that told the little pouter that she would not win Kiana's favor with that look and at once Lily's looks change to a hopeful little smile and giving her head a few nods as it willing her to say yes. With a sigh, Kiana rolled her eyes, "It's alright but only for a little while and then right back here to bed."

---
Lily clapped her hands together and her smile went big, "Oh thank you thank you!"

Lund sighs again as he offers his arm to Kiana. "I guess we have dinner guest to prepare for. We should go get ready love." He smiles as he gives Kiana the look that he knows will send flutters through her before leading her out through the doorway heading for their rooms.

----
Gaisse moves to the door watching the disappear down the hallway shaking his head. "I dont know how you did that exactly. I thought he was going to assign guards to us for sure." He glances back at Lily offering her a warm smile before moving back towards her.

Lily leans back against the headboard, looking rather smug, "It pays to be the baby of the family. You learn how to get your way with each sibling. With Lund it was always a pout. With my sister, I'd let a few tears slip out. And with Jak I would..." she trailed off a moment at the mention of her other brother. It was odd talking nicely about him after what he had done and how he had died. She realized then.... what did Gaisse know of Jak and what had happened to him?

---
Kiana blushed slightly and waited until they were out of the room to bat him on the arm, "Now you better not go giving me looks like that with intentions to get to me like THAT while we are at dinner!"

Gaisse watches Lily smiling softly. "You dont intend on using that pout against me do you?" He narrows his eyes playfully as he sits on the edge of the bed watching her for a moment. Lifting her hand he kisses it softly. "Jak...Is he the brother Lord Lund had to fight. Ive heard rumors of rumors, but nothing solid." He squeezes her hand trying to comfort her slightly.

-----
Lund laughs softly as she bats him on the arm. "I can give you much better looks then that love. That one was just a warmup." He glances around quickly before pushing her into a semi darkened alcove. Once her back is against the wall he gives her one more look putting abit more into it, before his lips press to hers lovingly.

Lily held onto his hand a little more firmly as she nodded, "Yes. Lund and he fought and lead to Lund's wounds he is recovering from now as well as Jak's death." She sighed and shook her head, "I don't know where Jak went bad but he did. Bad and power hungry. He risked poor, innocent Kiana's life more then once. He wronged Lund so much... deserved what he got." She flinched at her own words, "It's a terrible thing to say, but the truth."

---
Kiana yelped out slightly as he pulled her into the privacy of an alcove. "Lund, don't even th-" of course her protests were lost upon his lips as he kissed hers. Her hands pushed a moment against his chest. Only a moment though before she was melting within his grasp. Kiana had been so busy worrying about him and worrying about the baby and what had happened with Jak and so much more that she had not let herself give into the enjoyment a kiss with her husband could bring to her. "Mmmmm...." she moaned slowly into his kiss.

Gaisse continues to hold her hand softly nodding softly. "Losing a brother cannot be an easy thing to do darling. I am sorry for you loss." He leans in towards her letting his hand touch her cheek caressing warmly. "Let us turn to happier things if you wish. I believe we have a dinner to get ready for do we not?" He smiles glancing towards the door before pressing his lips to hers softly.

-----
Lund smiles as he continues the kiss feeling her protest die away as enjoyment replaces it. Slipping an arm around her waist he pulls her close letting their bodies press against each other. He enjoys even this simple touch as he deepens the kiss. His fingers caress her back through her dress as he tries to push them deeper into the alcove.

Lily let the kiss happen for a moment before pulling back, giving him a few little 'tsk, tsk, tsk' sounds as she shook her head, "You should not be doing that. I already have a reputation. If someone walked in and caught us it would only sully your name the more when I married you." She sighed, "You should not even be in here with my alone. It's scandalous enough.:

---
Kiana's body was limp and just totally accepting of the affection he was offering it for a few long moments, her arms just sort of hanging at her sides before they slowly rose up to rest upon his arms while the kissing continued onward. She did not press herself into him or anything such as that, just kept on kissing. Long ones, then some short pecks. Then a long one again...

Gaisse glances towards the door nodding softly. "Of course. I hadnt thought of that Lily. I do apologize." He stands up slowly letting her hand go as he back towards the door slowly. "I will see you shortly at dinner of course. I will miss every moment between now and then. He bows to her before spinning around and heading out the door.

----
Lund enjoys each kiss whether long or short. He slides his hand slowly up her back massaging her skin slowly as he breaks the kiss. "I havent kissed you like that in a long time. I will have to make sure it doesnt take me forever to do it again." He places his hand against her cheek caressing it lovingly. "I love you Kiana."

Lily smiled, watching him depart, knowing she would miss him the same. Alone now, she sighed and climbed up out of the bed. The nap upon the horse had been enough to refresh her for the moment. She feared that laying back down again now would result in sleeping through the meal she had just had to use her handy pout to get. Crossing to her closet, she picked a more appropriate dress to wear now that they were back within the manor walls. Once she changed she sat at her vanity and started to brush her hair. It was only there as she looked at her own reflection within the mirror she started to think and wonder. Had she really done it? Had she cut her ties with Jas? There had been a time she could not imagine herself with any other man in the world. At times when she sat in the mirror, she would imagine him coming up behind her to embrace her. She had been able to see him in the reflection. Yet now as she looked there, a smile crossed her lips as she imagined Gaisse's reflection with her own. She knew this was the right choice to make. She only hoped that Jas really would come to see that in time.

----
Kiana was slightly dazed as he pulled back enough to speak to her. She smiled yet still blushed at the same time as if she use to when first they met. "I can't recall the last time we indulged in a kiss like that either..." she told him as she shifted her head to rub her cheek against his hand. Sighing. "I miss this..." she whispered, letting her inner thoughts come free for a moment. It was the truth. She missed this. She missed them. They had not truly been together since he had returned. Of sure they had been within each others presence and had even been intimate but this intimate privacy was something she felt they had not really had since before he went missing.

Gaisse moves through the halls running his hands through his hair slowly. Glancing over his shoulder as he enters his rooms he laughs softly. Part of him cant believe they got away with such a bold lie. He moves to his bed quickly tugging his boots off as he sighs softly his mind replaying over the events of the day. Even as his mind begins to replay things he moves around the room starting to undress wanting to be fresh for the dinner that Lily's pouting got them to. He choses a dark blue outfit wanting to keep things simple for the night. A few quick glances into the mirror before he nods sending his servant to tell Lily he is ready.

-----
Lund smiles as he listens to her whispers. His fingers caress at her cheek running along her smooth skin slowly. "Your the most beautiful woman I know Kiana." Presses his forehead to hers simply enjoying the very simple touch as his fingers trail along her neck. "I love you so much." His lips move to press to hers softly once more. None of the kisses are urgent just simple and loving.

Kiana smiled slightly against his kiss, realizing the time and sighing, "Now I curse Lily's pouting. We have to be going back to make ready for dinner. We are the hosts and can't be missing when our guests come looking for us. I should feed the baby before they arrive as well." She said all this yet made no movements to push or pull away from him. Missing this closeness so much. "I would rather stay like this for hours with you."

Kind sighs softly at her words before smirking as he caresses her cheek lightly. "You had a chance to keep her in bed for the evening love." He presses his forehead against hers smiling happily. "Perhaps you were to caught up in seeing how much she could make me bend with that pouting of hers." His lips brush against hers softly not wanting to end the moment they have trying to force it to linger.

"If I had known you were going pull me into your arms like this and kiss me so, I would have declared she should remain in bed for days..." she smiled and finally found the will power among their playful playful conversation to push his body from her and lead the way from their private little place together. "Come, we need to prepare for them.

He let's out a soft laugh at her words. "In bed for days you say. Perhaps you should declare that then we could see how well her pouting would work on me." Be sighs as she pushes him back and leads the way out of their hiding spot. He slips his hand into hers giving it a soft squeeze. "I love you Loans."

((I will assume you meant Kiana :p))

Not to much later, Lund and Kiana were back in their rooms and making ready. Kiana tended to the baby while Lund oversaw servents setting up their little dinner party of sorts. A maid offered to take care of the baby yet Kiana wanted her here. Lily had said she wanted to see her niece tonight. Soon there was nothing to do but wait to their guests to arrive as she snuggled the baby in her arms. "What do you think is keeping them?"

Lund moves to sit in his chair after ushering the servants out. He smiles approving how everything is set up. Glancing towards Kiana he smiles brighter seeing her cradle their daughter. "I'm not sure love. Perhaps lily is still pouting or perhaps she can't decide on which dress to wear. Do you believe their story about her horse spooking. I have seen that mare and she is very gentle."

She sighed and thought it a moment before shaking her head, "No... I don't, but I could tell she wanted us to believe her so... I smiled and went along with it. She holds all the secrets she knows about my past so it's only fair that I let one of her lies slide this one time." She paused and their was silence before speaking again, "What do you think happened out there?"

He stands slowly beginning to pace as she speaks. His pacing comes to a stop as he rubs his chin softly. "I'm not sure I don't think anything like the tower incident. I believe Gaisse is to honorable for that." He sighs softly. "I think in the morning I will ride out with Angus and see what I can find. I need to make sure she isn't in any kind of danger."

"You will not be doing any riding!" she scolded him quickly. "Your still healing and can't be thrown about on the back of a horse. You'll only hurt yourself." Still ever the protective wife to her husband. She decided it was a decent time to attempt her own pout to get him to bend to her will just like Lily was able to. "You don't want me worrying about you all day, do you?" She snuggled the babe a little closer, "Don't want us to worry?"

"I think my injuries have healed more then enough to allow myself a short ride. I'm certain things will be......" He pauses seeing her employ a version of Lily's pouting on him. Clearing his throat as he lifts his hands slowly. "Of course I don't want you to worry. That's the last thing I want you to do love." He shakes his head slowly as he moves towards them. "What would you have me do then?"

Kiana sat a moment, thinking of a way to compromise with him. The truth was more then just she feared for him because of his injuries. She feared that something out there would take him from her once again. The incident on the cliff had left her afraid of pretty much everything outside the manor's walls. It did not even cross her mind that could be why was trying to keep him inside and to herself now. "Perhaps we can get them to confess the truth. I feel like of anyone, they would trust it with us. Here tonight, let's make it welcome to them. Make them comfortable. By the end of this meal, we can calmly bring it up and try and get the truth from them. That way you don't have to go looking for trouble yourself."

Lund rubs his chin as he steps to the fireplace thinking over it. "How truthful do you think she will be with us darling. We were alone with them in her rooms and she told us the story of fainting when her horse spooked." He sighs softly as he begins to pace before the fire. "And we both know that if I try to push her to hard she will simply pout at me and get her way once more." He laughs as he turns towards her. "I dont think Iver ever been able to tell her no when she does that."
