Seeing the way they were returning, of course the place was all a twitter and a flurry of motion waiting for them to be back within the walls of the manor. The gates were opening and waiting for them to come trotting inside. When at last they did enter, servants where they at once to take their horses. "Do I even want to know why you two are riding back on the same horse..." came a voice. Upon looking, it belonged to Angus himself, arms crossed sternly looking up the the pair on the horse.

Gaisse was on his own with this one as Lily was fast asleep.
 
Gaisse holds tightly to Lily as he hands the reigns to a servant for Lily's mare. "Im afraid her horse was spooked as we rode. It surprised me and took me some time to catch them." He glances at Lily's face smirking as he notices her asleep. "Once I caught them she fainted from the ride. I thought it would be smarter to ride back on my stallion." Slipping from the saddle he holds her steady before lifting her down cradling her close. "I was told you had a healer here."
 
Angus eyed him a little wary, not really fully believing the story as it was given to him yet in the end seeming to let it slide. For now at least. "Indeed we have a healer, yes. Lady Kiana... Lord Lund's wife. Take Lily to her room and I shall have a servant summon her to come."
 
Gaisse nods keeping his face straight even as he lies to Angus. "Thank you Angus." He shifts Lily slightly in his arms to make it more comfortable to carry her. He takes the trip slowly giving Lily even more time to sleep as he carries her up to the split in the halls unsure of where her room is exactly. A pausing servant is stopped by him as he ask for help to find Lily's room. His eyes glance to Lily's face as he follows the servant down the hall glancing around.
 
Meanwhile, back in Kiana and Lund's room, she had allowed Lund to come sit with her upon the sofa as she held the baby. It was then a contest between them as they each took turns making little faces and noises to try and get the baby to smile. "Her smile..." she said almost dreamy a she rested her head upon Lund's shoulder. "I can't get enough of it now that she has learned how to do it."
 
Lund smiles softly laughing as Sarah keeps smiling. "I think Ive decided her definitely gets her smile from you love." He leans over to kiss Kiana's cheek softly. He leans over towards Sarah making another face at her laughing hard as she smiles shaking her tiny fist at him. "Definitely gets her smile from you love." Takes one of the hands grasping it softly as he leans in to kiss her hand softly.
 
The baby's smile turns into a smirk as he leans in to kiss her little hand and it brings a bright laugh to Kiana. "Well she may have my smile but her smirk... that is most definitely her father's." She sighed and thought for a moment, her face growing somber. "To think... if you had not gotten your memory back, we would not be able to share this moment like this..."
 
Lund caresses Kiana's cheek softly as he turns to watch her smiling softly. "I did get my memory back love. Although I will always believe a part of me remembered you even if I couldnt figure out what it was." He leans in pressing his lips to hers softly his thumb caressing her cheek tenderly. "I love you Kiana. I want you to always remember that." He smiles looking deeply into her eyes.
 
The way he looked in her eyes in that moment... it started to warm her inside and she whimpered just very slightly, "You should not go looking at me like that. Especially with the baby in my arms. Makes me want to..." she paused and blushed a little, "Well then again I am sure you know what you are doing when you use that look in your eyes on me."
 
Line let's out a hearty laugh as he leans I'm again to brush his lips against hers softly. "Believe Mr darling I know what you go through when I use that look. In fact k enjoy your reaction to it, but I would never try anything while you held our daughter." He brushes his fingers across her cheek as a knock comes at the door.
 
Gently, she hands Sarah over to Lund to hold. She didn't even scold him about holding her head this time. Standing, she took a moment to lean down and kiss his cheek before going to the door, opening is just a bit to see who it was. It was a nice safe feeling she realized as she did this knowing that someone that wanted to her hurt would not be on the other side and longer. A young male servant she recognized as one of the boys that worked in the stables was there, telling her quickly what had happened. She didn't need to know any more to know she was needed.

After thanking him, she hurried back into the room to collect her healing basket. "No don't panic love but Lily lost control of her horse while riding with Gaisse. She fainted and she's in her room now. I am going to rush over to check on her. She could have hit her head or something...."
 
Gaisse smiles glancing at Kiana as he takes the baby. His arm folds up just to cradle Sarah's neck smiling at her softly. "Its ok darling. Daddy has you." He whistles softly for his daughter enjoying the smile that crosses her face. "I cant believe how much you love that darling." He glances up at Kiana as she comes back from the door grabbing her healing basket. "Did she fall from her horse?" He winces softly as he stands quickly. "Call for a maid Im coming with you Kiana. I want to know how this could have happened exactly." He cradles Sarah close keeping her safe even as he moves towards Kiana.
 
She shook her head at first, "No. She did not fall but being thrown about like that..." she sighs as she looks at him, realizing that she would be unable to stop him from coming along. "I will send a maid along to watch the baby love. I go on ahead though." She was off like a shoot down the hall and to Lily's room. Along the way, she found a maid and sent her back towards her room for relieve Lund to join her. Entering into the room, she took control of the situation at once, "What happened?" she said to Gaisse as she went to Lily's side and started to unload from her healing basket.
 
Lund nods softly as he watches her go. He paces back and forth slowly as he waits for the maid to arrive. Once she does arrive he hands Sarah to her leaning in to kiss the childs forehead softly. "Dont worry little one. We will both be back shortly to enjoy your smile." He touches Sarah's cheek before heading for the door moving carefully.

Gaisse glances up as Kiana enters the room. A soft embaressed blush spreads across his face as he releases Lily's hand standing to greet Kiana. "We were riding the trail that Lord Lund suggested when something spooked her mare. I swear to you that I believed her to be very sedate. After the mare was spooked she took off which surprised me. I had to ride hard to catch them." He sits down watching her work as his hand slips into Lily's glancing away as he tries to keep from stumbling over his lies. "I would not have taken her out if I knew she would be dangered."
 
Kiana checks the still napping Lily's face and forehead first then gently lifts her head to check the back of her head and her neck, not seeming to find anything out of place. "Did she hit her head at all?" she asked, not addressing anything he had said at the moment before she was already tossing more questions at him, "How long has she been out like this? Did she complain of any pain before doing so?"
 
Gaisse swallows softly as he continues to hold Lily's hand watching Kiana work. "I dont believe she hit her head. She was breathing heavily when I caught them. Once I got her down she just collapsed." He strokes Lily's hand softly as he squeezes it softly. "She didnt say anything about pain just that she felt out of breath. I thought it safer to ride back together on my horse." He glances towards the door as Lund strides in his brow furrowed slightly.

Lund's eyes instantly go to his sister gritting his teeth together softly. "Kiana how is she?" His eyes glance towards Gaisse, but for now he ignores the man as he moves to stand behind Kiana watching her work. "What damned fool thing were you doing with my sister to cause this?" His eyes firmly lock on to the man now anger at the idea of his sister being hurt burning there.
 
"Calm down Lund..." Kiana tells him as she starts to pull some herbs from the basket and mix them together. "Lily appears just fine. Will not know for sure until she wakes up and tells us if she feels any pain or discomfort. In the mean time this brew I am going to mix for her will calm her nerves. I m sure she is likely wound quite tense after such and event." She looks to Gaisse, "Will you start some water to warm on the fire for her?"
 
Lund opens his mouth to say something more, but pauses as Kiana speaks to him. Crossing his arms over his chest as he stays behind his wife watching carefully. "How long will it be before she wakes do you think? I want to speak with her," He sighs softly as he moves around the bed slowly. "I will return in a few moments Kiana. I must inform my parents and I need to speak with Angus." He smiles at her as he leaves through the door heading to first inform his parents.

Gaisse nods quickly as he moves to the fire putting a pot of water on over it. Swallowing heavily he glances back at the pair unsure of what to make of Kiana seeming to cull Lund so easily. "How warm do you need the water Lady Lily?" He dips a finger into the water checking the temperature as he ask his question.
 
Kiana was about to open with her mouth to answer him, when Lily's little voice chimed in, "Mmm not to hot please." Her eyes opened as she yawned and stretched a bit while squirming awake. Kiana smiled down at her as she felt Lily's forehead for any kind of temperature. "How are you feeling?" she asked her.

"Just fine. No kind of pain or anything like that. What kind of brew are you mixing me?" she made a funny face as if smelling something bad, "It will not taste vile will it?"

Kiana only laughed as she waited for Gaisse to bring her the cup of water for Lily, "No. It will taste sweet actually and it's only to calm you a bit. You are sure you feel alright? Your brother will be along any moment to start hounding you about it..."
 
A soft smile spreads across Gaisse's face as he waits just a moment longer to pour the water into the cup. He returns to the bed handing over the cup. "Its good to see that you are alright Lily." He smiles at her softly winking as he moves to sit beside her bed. "Lady Kiana was just checking over you to make sure you didnt hurt anything." His hand slips into hers once more squeezing it as he looks into her eyes. "Will she be alright Lady Kiana?"

Lund returns a few moments later having informed his parents and deciding to wait on seeing Angus. "Lily your awake. I need to know what happened?" He moves to Lily's side sitting on the bed gingerly as he glances towards Gaisse then to his wife. He takes her other hand patting it softly. "Just take your time I know you might not be feeling all to well."
 
Kiana takes the cup from Gaisse and starts to crush the herb mixture into it, letting it soak on the side table while she looked to Lund, smiling warmly, "She should be fine." She looked right at her then and gave her a strict expression, "You will need to rest tonight and tell me over the next few days if you have any discomfort. Do you understand?"

Lily nodded, "Yes, I understand." She turned her head then towards Lund, hoping want she was about to say would match his as best as it could. "We were riding and my mare just took off. It all happened so fast. She was running and running and I was frightened I would fall." She turned to look at Gaisse and smiled, hoping so far so good, searching his face to and signs this was a bad path to go down. "Then Gaisse stopped my mare and I think I passed out..."
 
Gaisse smiles at Lily giving her a subtle nod as she begins recount the same story he told Kiana. He lets the smile fade slightly as he notices Lund glaring at him slightly. "She was passed out till just a few minutes ago when your wife Lady Kiana arrived." He reaches for Lily's hand giving it a soft squeeze once more.

Lund sighs as he watches Lily for a moment glancing towards Gaisse as the pair share a smile and a look. "Is that all that happened Lily? I need to know that I dont need Angus to supply a bodyguard for both of you." He glances towards Kiana crossing his arms over his chest as he weighs the options over.
 
The mention of a body guard caught Lily's ever so slightly off guard and she flinched a moment but was swift to smile to cover it, "You are being overly protective Lund. Really now. It was an accident. I should have known better then to going out riding with as little experience as I have." She gave him a little pout like she use to when she was younger to make him melt and let his little sister get away with things, "Why are you being so mean to me?"

Kiana laughed, as she started to pack up her basket, waiting to watch and see if Lund would bend to his sister now. She'd have to make note on the technique for later use if it did work just the way she wanted it to.
 
Lund blinks slightly as his sister balks at the idea of a bodyguard. "Yes a bodyguard. One that would keep you out of all this tro..." He sighs softly as he sees her pout his frown softening ever so slightly as she continues to give it to him. "Im not trying to be mean Lily. I just want to see you kept safe." Another sigh escapes him as he shakes his head slightly. "If you promise to stay out of trouble I will not order Angus to provide you with a bodyguard." He turns to Kiana offering his arm to her.

Gaisse blinks slightly as Lily seems to so easily get her brother to bend away from providing them guards to keep them safe. He squeezes Lily's hand glad to see her well enough to get her way still. Keeping his mouth shut he merely stays quiet his head down waiting for them to depart before turning to smile fully at Lily.
 
Kiana smiles and accepts this arm, her smile filled with a hint of her amusement as she noticed just exactly how well Lily had Lund wrapped around her find with just such a simple look. She glance back and winked at Lily a moment before turning and continuing to leave with him.

Lily sat up and cut them off from leaving, "We will still be joining you for dinner you know. I don't feel so bad that I will allow myself to be trapped in this bed all evening." She waited to toss that pout upon him once more to get her way.
