Lily smiled slightly when he asked how long Gaisse would search for her. She didn't know how she knew it, but her immediate response was to think how he would not stop until he found her. Something in her heart just knew that would be how long he would seek her out. She did not say it though. Just climbed down off the horse and pulled away from his arms, heading for the cabin. The sooner they got this started the sooner they could get it over with. They were far off from where Gaisse was now and his call for her was nothing more then what seemed like a rustling of the leaves in the trees above to her ears now.

Jas sighs softly as he takes the horse tying it up to the outside of the cabin. Following her inside to the cabin he watches her swallowing heavily as he closes the door. "Just make yourself comfortable Lily. Ill get us some wine." He moves into the next room and the sounds of the him opening a bottle. He returns with two glasses setting one before her. "So what shall we discuss first?"

"I don't wish for any wine..." she told him as she took a seat upon one of the stools, looking about the room a moment while he was out of the room. When he finally did return with the two glasses still, she pushed hers away from herself. This was not a social call. "I suppose we should share interests? What is it you enjoy doing when not.... guarding." She supposed that was what she could call what he does or at least did for her family.

Jas smiles as he takes a sip from his own wine glass studying her face. "I enjoy carving though I've grown abit rusty from not practicing." He stands up moving to a shelf that holds several smaller pieces of wood. Bring back a couple he sets them before lily. One piece is a swan seeming to take off. The other is a horse rearing back on its hind feet. "These are some of my older pieces. What do you think?"

She could not deny her initial reaction to the works of wood placed before her. The details were so fine and such attentions paid to them. "They are acceptable," she said though, trying to not appear as impressed with them as she really was. The results of this meeting had to be that he accepted they were not compatible at a pair in the long run. To do that might require some creative lying. Picked up the horse, she tried to not look visually interested in it. "Do you have anything newer?"

Jas sighs softly as he takes a deep drink from his glass of wine. "I havent had much of a chance to carve anything lately." He turns scanning over the pieces before picking up a piece that looks newer. Setting it before her with a smile. "This one is my newest." He watches her face looking for any reaction from her. The piece is about nine inches tall and seems to be the beginnings of woman's figure. "I started this one just a few days ago." He sighs running his fingers through his hair.

She could not help but wonder as she say the started form if it was meant to be of her. It was a sweet gesture, but one she could not let him she thought about. She picked it up and looked at it as if confused about what it was suppose to be. "It's... interesting..." she said before setting it back down again, not giving it any more praise then that.

He grits his teeth softly as he watches her. "Are you intentionally trying to be frustrating Lily? Your sitting there acting like none of this even seems to faze you." He sighs in frustration as he stands up moving to refill his wine glass quickly. "I dont understand what I can do to impress you. Im doing all that I can."

Lily sighed and leaned forward to rest her chin in her hands as her elbows rested on the table's edge. "What do you want to me say? I am trying to appease you so that I get back home. This is what you wanted. You are learning more about me. This is a part of me... how I deal with things." She hoped he was going to view it as an unfavorable feature of her personality.

Jas rubs his chin softly as he leans back watching her studying her face for a moment. He laughs softly as he leans forward letting his face get to within a few inches of hers. "So I have answered your question. Tell me what you like to do when you arent being a prim and proper lady." His eyes lock on to hers still smiling as he reaches to touch her hand warmly.

She pulled back, feeling the closeness to be uncomfortable. Especially under the circumstances. "Honestly? I have not much time for anything more. I suppose I read when I have the time between my training for running a household." The sad truth she realized that honestly was the truth. Especially since Kiana and Lund had wed and it was put all upon her to keep their name honest and true. She had failed at that so far.

"Are you going to simply bow under the pressure from your parents? We could be far happier together then we would be apart." He reaches his hand out offering it to her instead of simply taking it. "I still love you deeply Lily. I want to prove it to you." He sighs softly as he continues to watch her keeping his hand held out to her. He glances at the woman figure in wood his mind comparing it to Lily's form wanting to make sure it fits what his minds eye remembers.

Her face seemed unaffected by his pleas of love to her. She really was a pretty good actress she thought to herself. Was it that, or had her feelings for Jas really dulled like this? "Perhaps the kind of life they want for me is the life I might actually want. Did you ever stop and think about that Jas?"

He sighs softly as he withdraws his hand from her. Taking out his knife he begins to carve the woman's figure moving his knife slowly as he glances up at her as he thinks over her question. "I have stopped and thought about it Lily. Ive thought about it alot. If I thought that was the case for sure I wouldnt have kidnapped you." He smiles letting his knife pause for a moment. "What makes you think thats what you really want? Why not a easy life here with me."

"Because it's not a life I am prepared for," she told him without a second thought. "And.... I don't want a simple life. The more I think about it, the more I realize that is the truth. Once I might have thought a simple life would be nice but then I thought about the life I could have. The chance to create and build a home that is all my own. A land created from my bare hands with Gaisse. Something be build together for the good of so many people." The talk of such a life with Gaisse brought a real smile to her lips, "That sounds so appealing to me now."

Jas sighs softly as he shakes his head. "Its the same kind of life we could have just simpler without servants waiting on us every moment." He sighs taking another drink from his wine glass glancing towards the door slowly. His hand picks up the wooden figure running his thumb over it slowly. "What are you going to tell your parents when you dont return on time? Or what if he runs back to get them?"

Something in her had a feeling that Gaisse would not go to them. As long as it did not grow dark. Something just told her that he would not stop looking until he found her. "I suppose I will have to tell them the truth. Gaisse was there as well so it's not like I can lie if he will not lie with me. You have kidnapped his fiance. He might not care what is said of you."

Another sigh comes from him as he stands up moving to look out the door scanning the woods quickly. "He wont find this place. Ive made sure it was well hidden in the woods. I could keep you hear for the rest of our lives and no one would know. They would think I had killed you perhaps?" He glances back at her studying her face as he moves back to the table.

She frowns at him, "We have made a deal. I came here with you and you said if we did not go well together that would be the end of it." Hopefully this end would come upon them sooner rather then later. "And I would run away. You could not watch me every second of every day." She glanced out the window, "If you let me go so I could return without anyone knowing... I could talk Gaisse into lying for you. No one would ever know about this and you could go free Jas."

"Your still asking me to just forget everything Ive ever felt for you though." He moves to sit down in front of her once more."Perhaps I dont wish to let you lie for me. Perhaps I will wait right here and let your father come for me." He scoffs softly. "How would you feel knowing I was dead?" He studies her face as he ask his last question wanting to see her reaction.

She sighs in great frustration, "You know I don't want that Jas. I have told you so before. Many times now. I hate how you keep making me repeat myself. I hate this running in circles with you!" She was clearly very frustrated at this point. That was fair more clear then any kind of affection she had shown before. Every time he made her have to repeat herself, she found herself falling more and more out of love with him to the point now she honestly wanted to be rid of him and his running in circles. "I want you to go on with your life. Not end it."

"I wish to live as well Lily, but with you as my wife. When I ran away from the castle I was scared that any moment your fathers guards would come crashing through my door to take me away. The only thing worse then that feeling was the way my heart felt knowing I couldnt look up from my training in the courtyard and perhaps catch a glimpse of you staring down at me."

"Jas.... what about what I want?" she asked him as she shook her head. "This is what I mean. If you love me like you say... you will let me go. But you refuse to do that. All you think of if what will make you happy? What about what I want to make me happy Jas?" She sighed and rose to her feet, "And THIS is why we are not compatible with one another. You will never listen to what I want. Everything will have to be what you want. How you want it. You will not even listen to what I want." She started to walk towards the door. "I promised you I would give you the chance and all you have done is support my thoughts even more."

"There was a time that you were happy with me Lily." He sits in his chair watching her move for the door making no effort to get up. His only movement is to refill his glass of wine before turning away from her. "Go if you wish then, but know I will always love you." He drains his glass quickly before hurtling it into the wall to shatter.

She paused at the door, hearing the glass shatter behind her. It frightened her. The rage behind it.... sighing, she turned to look at him, "Jas.... I'm sorry. One day you will find happiness and you will realize that if we had been together that you never would have found it. And then you will smile and be thankful I walked out this door today." She pushed open the door, "Goodbye Jas..." she said before walk out it and not looking back as she started off into the woods. She was not sure where exactly she was, but all she knew was that she had to go. She had to return to her life for a life with Jas was something she had realized she could not live. Her life was meant to be with Gaisse.
