Lund sighs softly as he leans closer to Lily. "I will deal with my wifes anger in my own way. What I wont deal well with is the fact that my sister might have been hurt or might get hurt and I did nothing. I am your older brother Lily all I want is to keep you safe." He sighs again as he starts to stand. "As I promised you sister this is only to help you and nothing will go beyond this room."

-----
Gaisse smiles as he fills Kiana's glass. "The temple is located just north of my family's home Im afriad. Its about a weeks ride from here, though Im sure the head priestess would welcome you like a sister even if you havent studied your teachings." He smiles softly as he sips his glass slowly before refilling it himself. "Have you ever thought of opening your own temple here?"

Lily sighed in frustration, closed her eyes a moment and dropped her voice even more into a whisper before she spoke, "I was not hurt and I will not be hurt." There was a long pause, "Jas... the guard I was... involved with... came looking for me. He's tried to get me to turn my back on Gaisse and go with him, but I took care of it. I made it very clear where my heart now lies and he left it at that. There, are you happy now? You have the truth out of me." It was not the whole truth, but it was hopefully enough to appease him.

---
Kiana shook her head, "No. I was not in the temple long enough to be able to run one let along start it from the ground up. I really, in truth, did not pay much attention to the teachings. I was not there by choice. I knew that as did they, but they accepted it as I became the temple and the village healer in my time there."

Lund sighs softly as he rubs his fingers together as he considers her words. "I understand why you wouldnt tell Angus when you first arrived, but why wouldnt you be truthful with Kiana and I. We both were willing to support your marriage to Jas when you were involved with him." He sighs again as he reaches out to touch her hand softly. "Thank you for telling me this. And I promise no one else, but Kiana will know if this." He smiles as he leans in kissing Sarah's forehead. "Try whistling Lily, she loves it."

-----
Gaisse nods softly. "You must be quite the healer then. I heard rumors of Lord Lun being injured, but he seems to have suffered little to none thanks to your healing hands. I will have to remember that if I am ever in need of a healer." He sips his wine as he glances over towards Lily smiling as Lund whistles for Sarah who is squirming in her arms. "I think she is quite taken with your daughter Lady Kiana. You might need to make sure she doesnt hide her away."

"I want to forget he ever existed in my life," she told her brother before directing her attention down to Sarah, unable to keep herself from laughing at how Sarah was trying to look up and over her head at her father. It was heartwarming and amusing. "I might have wanted that at some point, but I was not thinking beyond the allure of the moment." She puckered her lips and tried to whistle, but even as she mustered the sound, Sarah was still looking for her father.

---
Kiana glanced towards them as well and seeing how they not played with Sarah, she figured the conversation had to be completed by now. "I suppose I shall have to check her bags before she leaves with you to make she she is not stowing my little one away." She stood up and came to the siblings, reaching for the babe, "That is enough you two. She needs a nap and you two need to get to the table before the food grows too cold to enjoy. Go along now. Come, come."

Lund nods softly as he lets out another whistle. "Of course. Kiana and I will do what we can to help you forget that part of your life sister." He smiles seeing Kiana come towards them. He slips an arm around her waist pulling her close planting a quick kiss on her lips. "My wife is right Lily. We should eat especially since we are her patients. She gets upset if you dont eat while under her care." He winks at Kiana as he moves to the table beginning to eat slowly.

-----
Gaisse smiles softly letting out a warm heart felt laugh as he nods. "I dont think you would be able to get her away from her father Lady Kiana. So you might have to search for a bag big enough for both of them." He chuckles softly as he reaches down to squeeze Lily's hand. "You should eat darling. After you episode today it might help you sleep tonight."

Kiana tries to push herself from his grasp as if to scold him about to much affection in the presence of others before scolling this back while he walked towards the table. A little grunt of frustration at him escaped her before she turned to little and took the baby from her, taking Sarah to her cradle, resting her in it before kneeling beside her and rocking her. She'd do it just for a little bit until the baby started to fall to sleep before she'd join the rest of them.

---
Once Kiana took control of the baby, Lily stood and headed to her seat at the table. "I am rather hungry. This is one command from my healer I will gladly obey." She started to dig into her plate before her.

Lund laughs softly as he glances towards Lily and Gaisse letting his hand briefly brush against Kiana's rear. "Are you going to let her sleep this early love." He moves to refill his glass still sipping at it slowly. Moving to his seat he eases himself into it smiling as he leans back slightly as he glances toward Kiana smiling as she cradles Sarah rocking her to sleep. "So what are your plans after the wedding Lily?"

-----
Gaisse smiles as he sits down next to Lily filling a glass with wine for her. "Heres alittle wine for you." He begins to pick at a few things on the table mostly full now. His own eyes glance towards Kiana his mind suddenly inserting Lily there holding a baby that belongs to them. He shakes his head softly as he banishes the image for now.

"Just a little nap," Kiana told him looking over her shoulder towards him before turning back to the baby, watching her until she yawned and little eyes started to get drowsy looking. Then she kissed the babe on the forehead and rose up to finally join the meal with the others, "She doesn't really sleep more then a few hours at a time as is. She'll nap through dinner now, wake for awhile after then go back for another nap after that. It will be awhile still before she sleeps through the night." She finally started to pick at the food on her plate.

---
Lily nodded her thanks as she took up the now filled wine cup from him. "Well, we have not spoken to much about it but we know for certain we will be heading to the land Gaisse's father has allotted him. It's a place that will be ours to create a land of our own."

Lund smiles as he leans over to kiss Kiana's cheek as she sits down. "Well no matter your plans you will have to keep in touch. Lily will want to see her aunt." He slips his hand into Kiana's hand squeezing it softly. "Hopefully my healer and very beautiful wife will allow me more then just short walks through the manor soon. After that perhaps we will visit you."

-----
Gaisse smiles at Lily allowing his fingers to brush against her hand slightly. "My father has allotted just a small parcel of land for us. Im afraid because of certain failures on my part he isnt very happy with me." He winces slightly knowing Lily will know of the failures he speaks of that he sees as his own. Moving quickly he takes a deep drink from his wine glass.

"You are not a failure," Lily told him, pride in him clear in her tone as she squeezes his hand, making sure he looked in her eyes to see how she smiled at him. "You father is just being silly. You are a fine man. Never forget that."

---
"One more week," Kiana told him, holding up one finger to emphasis the amount of time she was going to keep him under her ever watchful eye. "You give me one more week to treat you like an invalid and I will give you a clean bill of health you big baby."

Lund smirks softly as he glances towards Kiana. "Big baby huh? Im going to show you how much your going to regret saying that." He leans over lifting her hand to kiss it. Before letting it go he gently bites her hand smirking as he looks into her eyes. He glances towards the couple was just watching them for a moment. "Im sure your father is just mistaken Gaisse."

-----
Gaisse nods softly as he looks into Lily's eyes. Swallowing softly as he looks back towards Lund. "Im sure your correct. It just seems hard enough sometimes." He lets his fingers run across Lily's palm as he looks into her eyes once more.

Kiana gave her husband one of her stern looks as she nipped her hand. That look that warned him of being to intimate like that in front of others. "Tread carefully or it will be two weeks before I dub you healthy enough to go out and about at your will." She smiled to show him she was not joking around with this threat.

---
Lily gave him a warm smile, "Well not I am here to make things easier. You'll see. Now that you have me, I will be here to lift some of that burden from off your shoulders Gaisse. Once we are wed, we will be in this together."

((Want to skip a little bit? Past all this conversation back and forth?))

Lund leans back sipping his wine slowly. His eyebrow arching at her threat of two weeks. "I think if you were to start adding time my dear I would have to break the rules and go out riding. I might just gallop to the mountains and back." He laughs softly as he takes her hand simply holding it as he squeezes it softly enjoying the simple touch between them.

-----
Gaisse nods softly as he gives Lily's hand a squeeze grateful for her presence finding comfort and joy in it. "Thank you Lily. I appreciate it more then you might realize." He smiles wishing they were alone so he might give her a simple kiss. He turns back to the food munching on alittle more as he leans back.

((sure we can.))

The night passed with conversation back and forth thought not really ever openly speaking of what had happened in the woods with Lily and Jas. Eventually, long after the meal was over it was time to go separate ways for the night. The baby had already napped and was up again for her last feeding before bed as Kiana and Lund sat alone in their room, the servants having just finished cleaning up their table. "So... what did she tell you? Did she stick with her story or tell you something more?"

Lund smiles as he leans back refilling his glass even as he starts to fill the effect of the wine. "She told me that Jas has returned. You remember him right? The guardsman she was involved with." He sighs softly as he stands sipping from his glass as he begins to pace slowly. "This is something I should bring to my father since he is still lord of these lands, but I gave Lily my word that I wouldnt tell anyone except you."

Kiana looked up, shocked at first hearing him speak of Jas, knowing exactly who it was and not really expecting to hear from him again either. "Did she say what he wanted?" Sighing, she lifted the babe to her shoulder to pat her back lightly, "I don't know what to do either. Your father would want to know but his actions could very well crush Lily's trust in you. She may never confide a secret in either of us again."

Lund sighs softly as he downs the last of his wine shaking his head as he continues to pace along the floor. "For now we keep it to ourselves. She said she was able to hand it on her own. I trust her so we do nothing for now." He sighs again as he begins to rub his temple staring into the fire. "I dont know how father deals with all of this. He runs these lands with no problems and now I am expected to step up and do the same." He grips the back of the chair muttering a few choice curses. "I never wanted to be anything more then a simple lord Kiana."

"Shh, you are going to be fine lord Lund," she told him as she adjusted the baby in her grip so that she could see her father from Kiana's arms. "You have everything you need to be just as good if not better then your father." Sarah seemed in that moment to grunt as if in agreement. Kiana smiled down at her, "And you see Sarah agrees with me as well."

He laughs softly as he turns to look towards them. "While Im sure you both are correct I dont think so. Father should find another successor." He sighs as he turns away his shoulders sagging slightly. "I want to go back to the days of travelling. When it was just you, me , Angus and his wife." His shoulders seem to sink even further as he rubs his temple again. "Is this what father deals with every day?"

She sighed and looked away, "If not for my persistence that could have happened. This is all my fault because I thought it was your right. Your brother would still be alive. You would not be under such pressure now." The look upon her face was one as if she felt like the most hated person in the world at this moment, if only it was she thought so.

Lund shakes his head quickly. "This isnt your fault. You werent the one who stabbed your own brother." He moves to her side kissing her cheek before strapping his sword on. "I need to go for a walk. I think all of this wine has gone to my head." He leans down giving Sarah's forehead a soft kiss. "I love both of you." He moves towards the door glancing back at Kiana love in his eyes before he disappears out it.

Kiana tries to grace him with a smile as he leaves but the moment he departs it sinks down off her face once more. Glancing down as Sarah, not even the babies cheerful face could lift her spirits. "Daddy says he does not blame me little one but it is my fault and I know it." The baby just smiled up at her, completely oblivious to the saddened mood of her mother. "Oh little one, what am I gonna do?"

Lund rubs at his temple softly as he begins to wonder through the halls of the manor. In his heart he truly doesnt blame Kiana. She was doing what she thought was right to protect him. Could he have even taken his brother in a fight being injured as he was. Shaking his head wishing to leave such thoughts behind as he finds himself on the outer wall of the manor staring out over the grounds.

Kiana sat up with the babe a long while until hours later she feel to sleep. It was only then after placing her in her crib and Kiana was alone again she started to feel a paranoia filled dread. It was only then she realized Lund had gone off with his sword. Where had he been going? Had he left the manor? Had he gone off into the night? What if he never came back again. It was a terrible hounding fear within her that was pulling at her insides as she paced the room back and forth over and over again.

Lund stares out over the landscape for a few hours his mind wondering back and forth as he thinks things over. He sighs pushing himself off the wall as he begins to retrace his steps as his mind replays his younger days with him and his brother chasing each other through the halls. Stopping just outside the door he rubs his face for a moment before pushing open the door slowly unbuckling his sword belt. Looking at Kiana surprised to see her still awake. "Love why are you still awake?"
