Change The World

Giving the mark a soft bite before pulling away, she moved her head to his. Brown eyes met gold and she smiled softly. One of her arms moved from his back so she could carress his cheek. "So," she breathed. Catching her breath, her voice very delicate and soft. "How do you feel?" Her soft thumb rubbed against his skin. She was spent and exhausted. But she was happy and there was a feeling inside of her of being complete. Like there was a part of her missing that she never knew nor had before. It felt good.

"Pretty..." Another deep breath before he chuckled. "Pretty damn good, actually.' he said as he nuzzled against her hand, closing his eyes, his breathign finally under control again. "How about you?" He asked. "How do you feel?"

She smiled at his reaction, showing her teeth. "I feel," she took in a deep breath through her nose and thought of the right choice of words. "Complete. And exhausted." A light chuckle was heard and she leaned her forehead against his while her arms wrapped around his neck. "I love you." She looked into his face, her eyelashes brushing against his cheekbones.

"I love you too." he said with a smile as he continued to hover above her, not wanting to put his entire weight on her. He pressed his forehead a little bit harder against hers, kissing her lightly on the face. "So much." And he did. He didn't regret any of this. Now that they were together, as mates. "Heh...so." he said lightly, gold orbs staring into chocolate orbs, "You regret any of it?" He asked.

There was no glint in her eyes, no shadow showing that she was lying. And she wasn't. Turning her head from side to side, shaking her head no. "I don't regret you or anything we've done." her eyes blinked slowly and let herself get lost in his eyes. "I love you, too. So much." He was still between her legs, by she didn't mind. The closeness they shared in body and soul was something she could never put into words. Her inner thighs rubbed along his sides and lower hips.

He decided not to push the whole "regret" thing any long. He'd take her word for it that she didn't regret anything they'd done. So with a nod, he kissed her on the lips one final time, laying just above her, holding himself up by his arms still above her. "I love you too." he mumbled as he moved back to her neck, kissing softly at her skin. "Mm...so much..."

Her eyes closed when he got close and turned her head to the side to give him the flesh of her neck. She could feel his hair brush against her chest and her neck and cheek. It tickled in a way, but it also felt good. Her hands found their way into his silver mane again. "I'm so jealous of your hair." Her fingers being careful incase she came across any knots or if she was being too rough. Letting out a small chuckle, she peeped her eyes open a moment to look at him, though she couldn't see him very well.

"Heh, you keep saying that." He said with a grin, feeling as her hands found their way back to his hair. He didn't think it was anything special really, it was just...well, hair. But if she liked it, then more power to her. "You're so weird...' he mumble dlightly against her neck. "But I like that about you..." He chuckled. "Can I just ask...why?" He pulled away to look down at her.

Her eyes opened fully and she smiled at his comment about her being weird. She was very well used to that. She was the 'weirdest' girl in this era after all. Even down to her mannerisms. Her fingers ran over this hair and she made eye contact with him. Shrugging her shoulders, she twisted a lock of it between her fingers. "It's so soft." Her eyes took a glance at her fingers as the played with the twisted strands. "And thick and the color of it is different. It's unique." And it was. The only person she could remember who had silver locks like his was Sesshomaru and their father. In her time, you had to dye your hair to try to get close to that color. Or wait for old age.

"Heh...." he chuckled softly, smirking down at her. She really was weird. Nothing too special about his hair. But...eh, if she liked it, she could like it. "If you say." he mumbled and nuzzled against her a little bit. Looking down and seeing they were still connection, he pulled away and out of her, groaning one final time before he fell onto the ground beside her.

She let in a short intake of breath when he finally pulled out of her. Slowly, his warmth left her and she closed her legs. It didn't take long for her to roll onto her side and cuddle her body up next to his. How he was always warm, she didn't know. Deciding to take a bath when they got back to the village where they were staying, Kagome laid her head on his shoulder. Her soft cheek smooching under the weight of her head. Eyes slowly moving to the sky, gazing at the stars while fireflies and crickets made sounds and did their nightly twinkling routine. It was one of the most beautiful things she ever seen. An excited chill coursed through her. They were now mates. He was hers and she was his. Her heart skipped a beat as she thought about all the things they had gone through to get here. All the pain she had to endure.

"Ya know..." he said softly after a small moment of that comofrtable silence, of him just holding her and her being held by him, "I won't lie, when you got me down from that tree, I didn't really think we'd end up here," he pulled her a little closer, for emphasis. He didn't look at her though, his eyes and attention remained at the stars above. "Mates and all that, kinda figured you'd just pin me back to the tree when you got mad enough," An ironic chuckle of his second love doing that to him...ironic and a bit of a concerning thought. His arm wrapped around her, fingers closing around her arm. "I'm really glad I met you Kagome..."

She listened while she continued to look at the stars. But she frowned when he mentioned her pinning him to the tree. Turning her head around, she looked up at him. The frown still apparent on her lips. "I never thought any of this would happen either." In her mind, when they first met, she actually thought he was sligtly evil. But she quickly learned that even though his words were harsh, his heart was not. She never expected that when she accidentally broke the jewel of Four Souls that it would take them this far. Meeting new companions, new enimies and new adventures. And it only brought her and her hanyou closer together. But there were times when she hated being compared to Kikyo. It sort of hurt in a way. "But no matter how much I could get mad at you or how bad you've hurt my feelings or made me s-i-t you, I would never, ever pin you to the tree. I couldn't bare to live with myself if I ever did." Her frown becoming less apparent. "My life would have never been the same without you, Inuyasha. I am so glad you're in my life. Because now, you're a big part of it."

"And you're a big part in mine, if not THE biggest.' he said as he looked down at her from the corner of his eyes, a little put off from her angry frown on her face. "Heh..." he chuckled. Funny, how completely opposite Kagome was from Kikyo...he guessed it wasn't fair to compare the two, but...well, he was thick headed back then. He knew better now. She was NOTHING like Kikyo. That was a good thing. He pulled her a little bit closer to him, tilting his head down and kissing the top of her head, exhaustion suddenly overtaking him for that brief moment. "Love you, Kagome..." he mumbled. He felt he could fall asleep right then and there. "More than anything..." Of course, with this, there were the occasional fears that she became a bigger target in their goal for the Shikon Jewels. A bigger target for Naraku, a bigger target for his incarnations, hell maybe even a bigger target for his brother. All the more reason to protect her.

Her frown slowly turned into a smile and she slid up his body a bit, her soft lips pressing against his in a chaste kiss. When she pulled away, she was close enough that her lips still touched his. "I love you, too Inuyasha. More than you could ever imagine." It was slightly erotic to her that she was able to say what she could against his lips. Not only was he able to feel it, but hear it. And it was the truth. "I don't think I could ever love another man more than I could love you." Her finger tips played and teased the side of his neck and collar bone. She wished this moment could last a life time. They'd never have to worry about if Naraku was right around the corner. Or if Koga was going to rile Inuyasha up. Or even if Sesshomaru was after Tessaiga. Not a care in the world. Just them, their love, and their bodies. And this moment of peace they shared. But soon they would have to to back. Their friends would start to worry.

He said nothing for a few moments, simply enjoying the situation at hand. Just him, and her, in the afterglow of passion, just sitting there and being with one another. But even he knew the moment wouldn't last. So, giving her one more lingering kiss, he pulled away and reluctantly said, "We should probably head back." Barely above a whisper, "Others are probably worried sick. Wasn't exactly "be RIGHT back" kinda thing." he chuckled.

Kagome laughed as well. Yeah. They kind of left without telling them how long they'd be back. And she more than likely knew what Miroku was conjuring up in his perverted little mind. After their intimate kiss, she licked her lips and sighed. "Okay. But when we get back, I'm taking a bath." Kagome stated as she started to get up to find her clothes. She didn't want to leave the warmth of his arms, but they really did need to get back.

"Sounds good." he said as he pulled up his pants and donned his shirt again, easily slipping on his kimono. Now fully dressed, he gave the area one last quick look around, sure to be in his mind for years to come as the spot where he finally mated with Kagome. Admittedly, in the middle of the woods wasn't the most 'romantic' but...get what you could get he supposed. "Ready whenever you are.'

Kagome hopped along the ground, pulling on her jeans, almost stumbling over while pulling on one leg. Jumping into them, she slipped her shoes back on while buttoning him. "Almost done." She stated, looking around her for shirt. Finding it, she fastened her bra behind her back and picked up the piece of fabric on the forest floor. "Gotcha." She smiled and turned it right side out before slipping it on. Turning to him, she pulled her hair out from under her shirt and smiled even more at him. "Now I'm ready." Making her way toward him, she took a moment to look at the sky and the twinkling stars admiring them before she looked slightly up at his handsome face.

Nodding his head, the two walked back to the village, Inuyasha a little more upbeat, very noticeable. Why woudln't he be? So far everything was going great. Well, Naraku still held a good chunk of the jewel shards, but really right now he didn't think anything could dampen his spirits. Idly, his hand once again reached down and grabbed hers, possessively.

She walked along side him, not remembering where they were going. So she stayed pretty close. Her hand formed around his and her fingers laced between his own. Kagome stayed silent while they walked, lookin around at the dark scenery. The only visible things were reflected by the moon light. Mostly water and the leaves. The sound of them rustling in the wind. It was a beautiful spring night. She loved the peacefulness of this Era. Everything was so lush and green. Different from skyscrapers and car fumes.

Not a single word was said between the two as they finally made their way back to the village, lit only by the lanterns and fires inside the huts. Before they went back in, he looked to her and gave her hand a quick squeeze. "Thank you." He whispered to her, so only she could hear, not wanting Sango and Miroku to be involved right now.

There was a brief pause as she looked up at him. A little confused as to why he was thanking her. But then again, sometimes he did strange things. "For what?" She smiled softly, looking up into his eyes searching them a moment as they stood outside the enterance to the hut.

"Loving me.' he said softly, giving her a gentle smile he wasn't exactly known for, but willing to try just for her. A squeeze of her hand, just enjoying the last moments of peace the two would likely have before Miroku or Shippo would barge in and ruin the moment. Take what you can get, at least that's what he thought they said.

She couldn't help but smile at him. Just like her heart couldn't help but to love him. "I will always love you." She whispered, moving close to him, her hand still holding his. But she turned so that she was infront of him. "We're mates now. My feelings for you will never change." With her free hand, she reached up to gently stroke his cheek. Her finger tips graced his skin just before an orange colored ball bounced from inside to her shirt.
