In loving hate

Zenku smiled, or what could pass as a smile in his current form, as he thought of his family. When he felt a hand go across his fur, soft and smooth, he pants, tongue hanging from the side. He thought it was his sister, playing with him like she did when she was little. When the hand withdrew, Zenku whimpered, turning to his front. He opened his eyes, quickly adjusting to the dark. He felt a little embarrassed, realizing it was Luna who touched him. "Oh. Hey." He said shyly.

Luna had noticed that Zenku 'smiled' and she bit her lip harder to keep from laughing and she heard him start to pant when she touched his fur, feeling the soft strands move through her fingers. When he rolled back over and opened his eyes, she looked away with a slightly embarrassed look on her face before she looked at him again as he spoke. "Hey." she whispered, her voice a little rough from the night before. She was silent for a moment before speaking again. "What time is it?" she asked.

Zenku yawned and stretched, body shivering as he did so. He held back a chuckle as she looked away, feeling the same embarassment. His body shifted back to his human form, looking at his watch. "About 9." He replied, stretching again. He was glad she had improved in health, but was still worried.

Luna looked at him again as he shifted back and she smiled gently before nodding when he told her what time it was. She knew that her brother and father were going to be worried sick and that they'd have a search party out for her since she hadn't returned home the night before. And with her blood in the park and the hunter there with lycan teeth marks in his throat, they'll probably think a lycan had attacked her.

Zenku stepped closer, but still held some distance. "Can you walk?" He asked concerned for her safety. He didn't worry too much about home yet, he refused to let someone die. "I'll take you if you want. You shouldn't move too much in your condition." He checked the patch and sighed to himself that it held, softly petting her hair.

Luna slowly pushed herself up a little before wincing slightly. "I... I think I can. But it'll be hard to." she said gently. She knew she was bruised and she was in bad condition because of the night before. As he checked her chest and petted her hair, she sighed and slowly relaxed back onto the bed. "Zenku.... I need to feed." she whispered, a look of embarrassment forming on her face. "I didn't last night and after loosing so much blood..." She trailed off and bit her lip with another sigh.

Zenku was dreading this moment. He wasn't upset, but really didn't want to be around when it happened. "I can't bring anyone without raising suspicion." He replied. "But there is one other way." He knelt down by her side, sliding off a portion of his shirt. "If it won't hurt you, you can take my blood instead. I know you need it." He looked calm and unafraid, willing to help out his friend.

Luna stared up at him as he spoke. "I know you can't." she said softly before trailing off when he knelt next t her and offered himself and her eyes widened. "Zenku..." she whispered, unsure of what to say. It scared her a little to have him offer himself to her like that and she swallowed a little. She could feel the pains of hunger starting and she couldn't help but look at his bared skin. "Are... are you sure?" she asked after a while.

Zenku exposed his neck even more. "Of course Luna. I like you, and I trust you, so I know you'll be okay." He held a determined look, smirking slightly. "And it's better than losing self control. He said protectively. "I'll be fine, I promise." He slid his shirt completely off, his full markings being shown to her. It was a lesser tribe, but well known for their warriors.

Luna hesitated a little longer before nodding reluctantly. "Okay. But if I loose control, I need you to promise me that you'll stop me. No matter what." she said softly. She slowly sat up a little before reaching out and gently placed a hand at the back of his neck. She'd never fed from a lycan before so she didn't know how his blood would effect her and she had no idea how he would be effected by the bite. When vampires bit someone to feed, they released a sort of venom that made the bite feel good to the victim. Some would say it was like being on ecstasy while others would say that they felt like they were experiencing a pleasure unlike any other they'd ever had. Taking a deep breath, she leaned in and gently kissed his neck right over his jugular before carefully sinking her fangs into his neck and his blood soon filled her mouth.

Zenku stiffened up at the insertion of her fangs. Soon, he relaxed, letting her drink. He was in euphoria, a tingling sensation dancing across his skin. He drew a quick breath, putting a gentle hand on her head. "It's okay." He whispered, closing his eyes in bliss. His eyes closed, he lost some control over his body, small tufts of fur rising, over his skin.

Luna felt him stiffen before he relaxed and she closed her eyes as his hand moved to her head. Once she was told it was okay, she bit a little harder and began drinking. Her free arm wrapped around his waist while her other hand rested upon the back of his neck, her thumb caressing his neck in small circles.

Zenku completely relaxed putting his other arms around her waist. Her finger across his neck added to the pleasures he already felt, a small tent starting to poke his covered boxers. He blushed, but didn't move, something inside him not wanting to let go.

Luna's eyes dilated and began to glow a little in the dim light of the room. She continued drinking for a while before she forced herself to remove her fangs from his neck and she softly licked the wounds on his neck, watching them slowly heal over before she slowly sank back onto the bed with a soft gasp. Her cheeks were flushed with color. Her cheeks were pink and her lips were turning red slowly as she laid there, his blood moving through her and giving her energy.

Zenku felt his blood being sucked through his.veins, like the reverse of an IV. Where fangs met skin, a cool sensation that ran through his body. "Luna." He whispered into her ear before she pulled away. Sitting back on his hands. His body felt cool, the throbbing points on his neck sending a pulse through his body. He felt drained, yet refreshed, energized."Are you better now?" He asked as he drew in a breath.

Luna laid there in silence for a little while before opening her eyes and gazing up at the ceiling with wide eyes and she shivered a little. She could feel the blood already working to heal her, the wound in her chest beginning to close from the inside out but she knew because it had been so long between when she was injured and when she fed, it would scar. After a bit she looked over at him and smiled gently. "I'm a little better now. Thank you Zenku." she said gently. "I... didn't hurt you did I?" she asked while looking at his neck. She knew he'd probably bruise and the area might be a little tender for a couple days depending on how he healed.

Zenku was a quick healer, but his neck still felt raw. The mark along his neck crept up, curling around the bite marks. It temporarily glowed red, then settled to black as his body adjusted. Again, cool shivers ran through him, but he didn't worry. "I'll be okay." He said, smiling slightly. "It's nothing too bad." He sat on the edge of the bed, resting a caring hand on her leg.

Luna watched the mark on his neck move up and curl around the bite marks on his neck before it glowed red then returned to black. Fr a while she was quiet befre he spoke and she smiled up at him. "Okay." she said gently, slowly turning over onto her side as he rested his hand upon her leg. Reaching down, she placed her hand upon his. "Thank you.... For everything." she told him with a small grateful smile. "If it wasn't for you, I'd be dead by now."

Zenku blushed, looking outside for a moment. He sighed heavily, his grip tightening slightly. "Thank you." He stuttered. "But I was just lucky I found you." He whispered gently. He couldn't bear to try anything more. He didn't want to push the limits he thought he had reached.

Luna felt his grip tighten a bit and she smiled gently. "I think I'm the lucky one." she told him after he spoke. Lifting his hand, she lightly kissed the back of it. "I couldn't ask for a better friend." she said gently. "That is... if we are friends." The vampire looked at him with a hopeful look in her eyes while smiling gently.

Zenku was about to leave her, unable to control what he had felt inside. He liked her, but his old friend died for the same reason. But he felt Luna kiss his hand, and to him it was sincere. It was all Zenku needed to confirm what he felt. He liked her, and she liked him. He couldn't bear to abandon her now. With tears in his eyes, he slowly nodded.

Luna felt a fear filling her as she waited before seeing him nod and she smiled. It was a genuine and relieved smile as she closed her eyes and pressed her cool cheek against his hand for a moment. She knew that them being friends was going to cause them both some big problems because their families and clans were mortal enemies and they hated each other. Her father hated Zenku's people more then any other lycans because it was someone from his group that had attacked her when she was just a child, though they didn't know who it was. She always thought it was strange that her father and brother hated the lycans for something she couldn't even really remember while she brushed it off and said that to hate all for one persons action was foolish. After all, she had more of a reason to be upset, but she wasn't.

Zenku blinked back his tears, smiling softly as her cheek was against his hand. In the back of his mind, he knew how things could possibly turn out, but shrugged off the negative. This vampire, this girl, liked him for who he was and nothing was going to make him change how he felt either. Looking up through a hole in a corner of the roof, he got a glimpse of the moon, a lunar eclipse. When he was younger, he remembered how something good always happened on those nights. He sighed, shoulders relacing as he looked back to Luna. "I want to show you something." He said gently, shifting the blankets to pick her up.

Luna could feel tiredness creeping back in even though she'd just woken recently and fed, but she fought it off for a while. Noticing him look up, she glanced up at the hole in the roof before looking at him again when he sighed and looked at her again. At his comment about showing her something, she tilted her head curiously before nodding. "Okay." she said softly, helping him to move the blankets so that she could be picked up. Reaching out, she gently wrapped her arms around his neck, her face close to his while he gently held onto him as he lifted her from the bed.

Zenku's eyes locked with hers, gentle green almost too calm to seem real. He walked to the door and opened it slowly stepping out into the night sky. He looked up to the moon, peaceful and soothing with its red glow. "My mother told me I was born on an eclipse, that meant I was special. That for every bad thing, something good will come of it, like luck. I know what she means now." He said, looking back down to Luna.
