Little Things That Bother You

Not having enough time.

People who tell me to use dating sites.

And all of this talk about kids (terrible parenting aside) has me wanting another. I've always wanted three - hopefully before I was 30. Now I'm 25 with a fat-chance of that happening! So uh, maybe I should add that I'm bothered by the fact that I can not reproduce by budding! lol.

This a hundred times over!

As for the rest of your post, you are an attractive woman, Feral. I don't see why you would need to use a dating site.

Apparently it's difficult to find someone who agrees with you there AND doesn't mind that I'm a mother.

My daughter is my world - any person who sees a child as "baggage" or a burden is not the one for me.

Let's go ahead and add this to the rather large list of random things that grind my gears. I've only had one partner with whom I got emotionally close enough to to take things to a physical level, but I have had my fair share of dating partners and out of all of them, the single moms were my favorites. It really says something about a woman's strength and independence.

As a bonus, if said child was a son, I got a new little fishing buddy out of the deal. Love me some fishing!

No, but most young girls that I have experience with are either A) Afraid of most of the bait that I use or B) afraid of the fish. Boys are just easier to manage if we are on the lake by ourselves. I only have one problem with them and that is a rarity.

*pulls a giant snapping turtle out of the water*

The Child's thought process - *A turtle! I must pet it!*

My thought process - *grab child to stop him from going near the turtle* *Jesus christ kid, that thing could take your arm off*

LOL!

I'd want to pet it too. Naw, I used to go fishing and crabbing with my dad all of the time. My daughter's a bit young yet, but she's definitely going to get that experience. She's a tough one like her Mommy.

...until her Mommy sees a spider...

-throws object, runs away-

Actually, parenthood has made me an expert spider-exterminator. Still skeevs me out though.

Getting documents gathered for filing your taxes! *Grumbles and whines* It's such a pain looking for all the receipts, statements, check stubs, etc. I wish sometimes we didn't itemize and just took the standard deductions and went with that! But, I suppose getting a bit more back in our refund check makes it somewhat worth the hassle and stress.

*Curses as she resumes digging in the file cabinet*

Well, this is a thread for people to get out what bothers them. Not a thread designed for people to get butthurt and then retaliate/disagree. And I'm not one for subtlety.

If you see something you don't like, ignore it instead of attempting to retaliate. Everyone has different viewpoints.

I would hardly say I retaliated and as I stated, I didn't disagree with what was being said. I was simply observing that the thread took a rather serious turn and that sometimes introspection is worthy of criticism as well. Personally, I'm bothered every bit as much by my own faults as the faults of others. If I annoyed or offended you in any way, I apologize. That was not my intent.

Moving along, I am bothered by long gaps in my class schedule. I'm also bothered (and I know many will agree with this) by the cost of text books.

People who think those who role-play (in any form) are either pathetic or bad parents/employees/people in general. I say this one because the people I interact with on the boards I role-play on for the most part are closer to normal/sane/competent than critics. Also, the people I meet and do things with at Cons put some of the people I have to deal with through my work and everyday to SHAME.

Criticism of one group of people/occupation while forgetting/pretending there is none in the one the critic is in/a part of.

Oh.. one that may surprise some.....

Blind patriotism from anyone.

I am a FIRM BELIEVER that the line from the song in "The Mikado: by Gilbert and Sullivan is still alive and disgustingly well...

"...the Idiot who praises/denounces with enthusiastic tone... all centuries but this and every country but his own..."

Too many things.......... way too many things.

Haha I think that's all of us. Which brings me to another thing...

People who act like you can't or shouldn't have negative emotions towards anything.

Indeed.

And.... THIS!!!!!! We are human and feel and people who don't get that can fuck off.

Very true and very scary. Jingoism is dangerous, zealotry is disturbing, and fanaticism is mind-boggling. The irony: it's existed since the formation of societies.

I'm bothered by sheep. I love starting a clap just to see who follows. Admittedly, we all support something, but I don't like people who can't at least loosely outline what it is they are supporting.

People who make no effort to control their kids in public AND parents who seem to yell at their kids for everything. I mean, I know I don't have the full picture for either of those scenarios but it still bothers me. The second one moreso.

On another note: customers who wait a little bit before responding to your question of "can I help you?". Just keep standing their buddy, don't give me any sin that you heard me.

When you set your alarm to wake up at a certain time, then when you wake up decides you'll sleep more. Then regret that decision when you wake up at 6:30 pm

People saying things they either don't mean, don't understand, or don't think applies to them.

Really bad coffee.

Telemarketers.

1. People who whine about not having artistic skills.

"Uuuuugh, why can't I draw as good as you?"

"...Maybe because you don't draw as often as I do?"

90% practice people! >_<

2. People who are inconsiderate pigs and will just eat and eat and not take other people into consideration.

People who act like they're charitable/benevolent, but aren't. Going to one 5K a year doesn't make you a saint.

Also, when I tell people that I've worked for various animal shelters and their response is "Oh man... good for you. I could never do that..." As if they somehow love animals more than me and it would hurt them too much. Like it's easy for shelter workers, right? Like we haven't all balled our eyes out, vomited in anger, flipped out, etc. from what we've dealt with. There are incredibly important causes out there and I can't stand it when people won't cowboy up to help. Or they are just too lazy and it's an excuse, which brings me back to my first point.

Nuts in general. :D
While some conspiracies are believable like the Kennedy assassination, others are just out there. I bet you'd like deeznuts XD

That the news wont shut up about the whole Benghazi incident, but never talks about the drone strikes and double taps.

Perhaps.. :p

Allowing others to make me feel somehow "less than". It puts me in such a terrible funk! :(
