Getting my internet bill three days before the due date with a notation "Please allow up to seven days for payment processing." Thanks, Time Warner. You guys give me a bill just in time to pretty much guarantee that it is late if I pay it the very day that I received it? I fucking hate these clowns so much and unless I want DSL, which is not an option because I live with three stream-and-torrent-whores, I have no other service options.

I am talking about that, but also things like certain kinds of "self-help books", "seminar courses", and the like. Also, and I really am sorry, people who claim they are "scientific" when what they rant about is just as much dogma of a sort than anything else. I am not talking about evolution, per say, rather there are those who do the same around certain "artists" Especially, I clarify here, how there are those out there who form cults around certain authors who are as much cult leaders with ulterior motives as others who don't hide that's what they are. And a certain talk show host who pretty much was also allowing that to be done around her and still is doing so, as if 25 years of her BS wasn't enough.

I know that sounds nasty, but a cult of personality is a cult of personality, no matter how thin you slice the bologna that personality puts out.



People who assume and don't ask a question. (get that around town here all the time)

People who claim they want an open discussion, when they really want others to just agree with them or to find ways to validate what they only want to believe. (would get that at church all the time in years passed... but saw someone on a street corner earlier doing the same thing....)

Eh I consider all of that to be under the new age bullshit flag, anyone who reads a self help book obviously cant manage their life and need others to do it for them.

I hate bleeding heart liberals and x conservatives (theres really not a term for conservatives like bleeding heart liberals). I also hate people who throw out the word moderate, like they know what the fuck their talking about.
 
While we're on the subject of bad parents; parents that pawn their kids off so they can 'have a life'. I am not talking about once or twice a week; I am talking completely.

There is this girl at the hobby shop that I hang out at who is thirty-four. Yes, a thirty-four year old GIRL - not WOMAN. She does not deserve that title.

Her best friend is an eighteen year old tramp and she has five kids, none of whom she cares for. Every single one of them live with this girl's mother! She is not a drug addict and has a decent job. There is no reason that she can't care for her kids, she just chooses not to.
 
No, the thirty-four year old has the five kids. I was just stating that it is odd to me for a thirty-five year old to constantly hang around with an eighteen year old girl. They talk about having fucking sleep-overs. I mean, seriously?
 
If I want to change my major to History, I'd need to take three classes of a foreign language.
 
Oh sure she does. I asked her about it one day, not out of disgust, but out of genuine curiosity. She got nasty and said something along the lines of, 'I like being able to see my kids when i want to and still be able to hang out and party.' As a twenty four year old who wants kids, i was apphauled.
 
The thread's getting a little judgmental now. While I cannot say I disagree with the aforementioned feelings, I desperately try to avoid passing judgement.

I am bothered by tangible money though. I'd love to live in a world where all transactions were electronic, but I think we are far from that still.

I'm also bothered by personality tests.
 
Well, this is a thread for people to get out what bothers them. Not a thread designed for people to get butthurt and then retaliate/disagree. And I'm not one for subtlety.

If you see something you don't like, ignore it instead of attempting to retaliate. Everyone has different viewpoints.
 
There's no need to fight or be uncivil. I was merely putting an example to my statement; nothing more. How people live their lives is their bussiness. I just cant wrap my head around that syle of parenting, oe lackthereof.

On an unrelated note, i ate something terrible for lunch and cant get rid of the taste. It is bothering me greatly.
