If you're alright with that, I was thinking of giving it a shot with your wanting a dominant female character. My girl just won't be over the top dominatrix. My girl will just know when and how to take charge, and even deny any advances when she doesn't feel up to par.
I'm not sure exactly how the setting would be for the rp, which hopefully we can discuss.
Part of the idea I have spurring in my head is that she has a polar bear partner that she travels around with and even rides him since he is big enough to carry her around on his back. She is also a very well known thief, sort of. The reason I state 'sort of', is because of the fact that no one is aware of her true identity and many believe her to be a male. She is given a nickname from the public (still working on a 'cool' thief name for her). For the longest time, she has always been a loner, aside from her polar bear companion. If she wants something, she will take it. If she doesn't want something, she has her ways of refusing it. Despite the fact of her dominant personality, she does have a 'soft' spot that she keeps hidden, as well as her gentle nature.
I almost picture a setting where the world is covered in a certain cold age, not entirely an ice age though. It would almost be modern, but at the same time not. The terrain is rather rough, but there are cities and town spread through out. I guess the best way to describe it is something similar to the setting in Wolf's Rain, if you've seen or read it. If not, I am sure I can find a better way to describe it.
As for plot, there are many ways to go about it. There gangs, thieves, corrupt towns/cities, etc. In order to live in this world, one must fight for their survival.
The genre it would consist of is a mixture of: Action, Adventure, Romance, Murder, Violence, and maybe some Forbidden Love.
