The Art Thief's Obsession (LunarWolf and Guardian Angel)

Skye was watching for a moment before she was sending a couple of pictures to Mason that she had snuck of the two, so that he knew what they looked like.
 
The next morning came around and the police commissioner was sitting in his office just waiting for the detectives to show up. He was also in the process of chatting with his sister, who happened to be lounging in his office as well.
 
It seemed to be Skye that was letting them into the office and the commissioner was greeting them after a moment in time. She was giving a wave of her hand so that they could sit and talk.
 
Nate and Max nodded their head and then they sat down. Max let Nate explain what was going on as he was still fuming over the chief not wanting to protect a witness.
 
Nicholas was listening for a moment in time before he was stating, "No he should be prioritizing the protection of a witness, especially with the fact that the culprit is still roaming about. Skyelar was explaining the situation to me as well - she is concerned for her friend as well." With that he was questioning if there were others that were on the case as well or if they were the only ones on the case. Sure he could look into it himself but it was easier for them to just answer.
 
Max looked at him and then spoke "we are the only two working the case sir and I am worried as well as I received a text from an unknown number" Max then pulled out his phone and showed him the text that he had gotten
 
Nicholas was just looking at the text before he was commenting, "Luckily right now Luna is never alone. She always has one of three people with her at all times. Both Nox and Mason have gone through self defense training and can defend themselves if it comes to it. Skye hasn't had any kind of training like that but she is also resourceful."
 
Max nodded his head lightly "Ill stop by after my shift to check in but I have to be careful if this person is watching me he may figure out where she is"
 
Nicholas was just looking over before he was commenting, "Give Skye the number and forget that you ever gave it to her." No he was definitely hinting towards something a bit illegal happening but.... it was for a cause.
 
Skye was just looking towards Max for a moment as she was taking the number then looked towards her brother for a moment who was just commenting that he knew nothing about anything.
 
Nate and Max nodded in agreement to his statement. Max then looked at his watch and spoke "we should probably get out of here and back to work before the Chief comes looking for us"
 
Nicholas was just commenting, "I wouldn't worry about him too much. He has a bunch of paperwork to get caught up on that I told him I needed by the end of the day."
 
Nicholas was commenting that there was a hidden petition going around by some of the others to get the chief fired and have a new one put in place. He was putting his finger to his lip before he was stating that he knew nothing about it.
 
Nicolas was just commenting that nobody was happy with it and he didn't personally have a reason to fire him at all - and it didn't help that nobody ever came to him with complaints about the chief.
 
Nicolas was giving a nod of his head before he was speaking "I know many are afraid to come to me because they have to go through him." He was looking over at Skye who was sitting on her laptop, typing away.
 
Nicholas was just giving a nod although he was commenting he wasn't sure if he was busy or not. "You are free tonight. You have dinner with your husband tomorrow night." Skye just seemed to be speaking, not even looking up from her laptop at that point in time. She was nibbling on a piece of beef jerky that had been taken out of her bag while she was working. There was a moment in time where she was tilting her head before she was commenting a name - a name that both Max and Nate would recognize. The name of the person who was suppose to be in jail and the culprit. Although they would probably be dumbfounded to learn that he hadn't even bothered to try and hide his number or anything. No he had texted Max from his actual phone number after having gotten the number from Luna's phone.
