The Dragons Tribute (LunarWolf and FluffyPuppy77)

Eve did as she said and whistled to get its attention focused elsewhere. Eve then moved around to its back end and when the wolf couldn’t see or smell her she attacked. Eve launched on to the wolfs back and dug her claws in and held on when the wolf took off. Eve waited till the animal became tried and then she moved going for the wolfs throat and killing it with a single bite. Eve then dragged the wolfs body back to Vance and dropped it at it s feet and looked at him lightly

"Good hunt. A pinch slow, if that was anything bigger you might....." he shut up as he rose his head high. They were in his magic fog but something was trying to break through it on the far side of the field.
~Fly, Eve. Now! Just get to the highest you can go!~ he yelled as he bared his teeth, standing with a leap and rushing at the far end of the field. The fog faded away in his anger as he roared. There were hunters out here! Not part of the witches, just killers looking for a score. ~FLY FLY FLY!~

Eve did as ordered and she took off and headed up high as fast as she could and she went as high as she could. sadly it wasn't very high but she was just out of range of the weapons. Lilly then headed for the forest so that she could shift and hide easier them if she stayed there. Eve worried for him as well but there was little she could do as she was still so small. Eve hoped that he would take off as well and get away from them.

This field would lay barren for a while now as he drooled out his poison upon his arriving to the hunters. HUNTERS were free game to kill, they hurt all dragon kind. He preferred to slash to kill but he was quite happy to bite the leading caring man in half and throw his own axe at another with magic. He was a massive thing, these few of a party was easily disposed of as he took off after smashing the last one. He had gotten a few stabs in his wrists but nothing a good sleep wouldn't fix.... hopefully, it was actually sore on him right now.
He went up just fine to the cloud line ~Come on out, Eve, we can...... leave....~ he even mentally winched as his front claws felt so stiff and sore.

Eve came out of the trees a few moments later and she flew to him flapping her wings to get to his height. Eve then looked at him and squeaked when she saw that he was hurt before looking at him. because of the hunters they would have to go to the dinning hall unless they decided to hunt somewhere else before going back. Eve got as close as she could and then she waited for him to pick the direction so that they could get going

~....Get..... Your wolf...~ a claw pointed to the un touched meat as he was using what he had to keep awake and aloft. ~Fly straight.....up.... past the clouds.... I have to keep flying...... Im sure.....you'll see me.....~ he was not seeing well out of his eye right now. But heavier and harder flaps took the mighty galaxy purple beast high in the cloud line. Slowly.

Eve nodded her head and then swooped down and grabbed the wolf. the weight of the animal made it harder on her to get high above the clouds but with a bit of work she was able to get up into the clouds and hidden from the site of others. Eve could tell he was hurt and she did her best to catch up with him. while she couldn't support him if her fell she could call out for help if he felt it was needed. Eve hoped that he would be ok and that they could make it back to the cave safely.

Caught up she did, he hadn't gotten very far. He had little to say to the young dragon hybrid as he took strained beats to get him over the land below and to the hidden cloud top mountain. While his front feet didnt obey him, he kept to the wall's side and if needed hopped along the face with his back feet to get height. This took him back to the land above, and once up, he crashed; landing hard to his stomach with tail over the edge. The elder had been right, the hunters were very mad. But this time was a wild beast- if anything, Eve took out a farm predator.

Eve landed and then set her kill down before she walked over to him and nudged him with her nose. she was worried about him as it seemed like he was badly hurt. knowing they were close to the others Eve roared asking for help as she didn't think they would be able to make it back to the cave alone. Eve kept nudging him mainly to keep him awake until help arrived. Eve kept sending out calls for help as long as she could and basically roared herself horse. once she could no longer roar Eve looked at him and whined

His wings wouldn't support him; his back feet were hard to balance on just by themselves. He was not deaf nor was he passed out. He was just sore. Moving his tail and with a thump, batted at her mouth lightly with just the tip. A shush method. ~No need to yell.......... Just go back to the cave......... I'll be along before lunch....... start your skinning.~

Eve whined at him she didn't want to leave him there alone. Eve moved to her wolf and then brought it to him so that she could stay close to him while doing as he ordered and start skinning the wolf. Eve knew he had said to head back to the cave but she didn't want to leave him either so there was going to be a bit of a fight between them if he tried to make her go back alone

Stubborn child. The tail thumped again but his body was unable to move...... maybe a bear slide... Nose to the dirt and hind legs shifting to support him. The galaxy dragon dragged himself along the ground like a polar bear on the snow. It was humiliating to do this but he needed to get back to his cave. ~Home.~
It was this....... or shift to a human...... and he didnt want to start that.

Eve picked up her wolf and walked with him taking care to hot drag the wolf on the ground which had her walking in a strange way but she didn't want to wreck the fur. Eve had seen the piles of fur and had even used one to make some clothes so she knew he collected them. Eve stopped every now and then to rest but because of how slow he was moving she was able to keep up.

If anything, the giant dragon was behind her, a new gorge being made behind her as his body trenched through the dirt. It wasn't easy pushing his bulk with just his hind feet. ~Go..... tell the guard to get...... elder....... skin at cave....... tools.~ Child, please let him drag where no one was watching, this was embarrassing as it were with her stopping to break.

Eve nodded her head and then bound off to do as he ordered while she didn't know how she was going to tell them to get the elder she hoped that they would take a freaked out youngling and see that there was something urgent. Eve dropped the wolf off at the cave and then went hunting for some guards. it didn't take her long before she found a group of them. hearing that they were coming to find them had her bounding over and chittering at them to get their attention.

Two taller dragons, bigger than her but not as big as Vance or the Elder. "Looky here, little red decided to come back." A green barked out, a heavy stance with a flaring of his wings as he blocked her path further in to town- Sure she could try flying but he'd pull her down then too. "Come running back cause he's too rough now???" he hissed out as the other guard turned around- no hostility in his features.

Eve hissed and then with out meaning to she managed to scream at them that they had been attacked and that Vance was hurt and needed help. Eve panted while she looked at them as her throat was killing her for screaming but she had to get her point across and while she wanted to smack the green dragon in retaliation for him blocking her path as she had been told to get the elder. Ever watched the male to see if he was going to keep blocking her way or if he was going to let her go through so she could get to town

Both males flinched to the bellow of noise that exited the little red- the green getting the worst as his ears bled and he whimpered and spun around a few times in confusion to why he couldn't hear. The other wiggled in his step as he pushed the green to the ground- out of the way and with a zig zag, beckoned the red to follow him to the elders place.
The green failed a bite- his eyes worked but everything felt off as he got a reddish rock instead.

Eve took off after the other dragon leaving the Green one to deal with the damage she had done to him. Eve hoped the she could explain everything to the elder with out the woman getting upset and lashing out at either of them. Eve made sure to memorize the way to get there so that if she needed to see the elder again she could easily find her way. Eve looked around but she also made sure that she didn't lose the other dragons

The blues intrusion to her work area had the Elder looking over sharply at the loud noise. Gold eyes caught the wobble of the dragon, and his attempt to be graceful to move out of the way- failing and flopping to his face. The Little red behind him.
"What is the meaning of barging in my office like this, soldier??!!" her voice loud as she stood, the two small winged dragons looking up but remaining seated on a pillow.
"Trouble......."
"Oh, I see that the brat of a dragon returned from his hunt now..... Why did he send you alone to me, he's supposed to keep you in the caverns." She shifted with ease to be at eye level with the smaller female.

Eve looked her in the eyes and then chirped out “hunters need help” while she didn’t know if that would tell her what she needed to know Eve hopped that it would and that she would help Vance. Eve then turned to scurry out and head back to Vance stopping at the door to look at them both.

There was something in that hatchling's voice which was magic bound and very bad for the hearing; a little head shake to the near whisper of the child. Must have been the Witches work.
The Elder had sighed as she took her long steps to follow the hatchling to the door. "Forgive me my guests. This young one is an interesting case and I must attend to her and her partner." she said with a short bow. "I'll be back in a little while, please; make yourself comfortable." Continuing with a gesture to the hatchling; "Lead the way. You have my attention."
