Mugen (1×1 w/ Jikkah)

He grabbed her by the jaw and forced her to stand, eyes cold. “I ate her.” He said lowly, fastening a heavy iron collar around her neck.

Her eyes widened in horror and she began to cry again, beating hard against his chest in anguish, "You monster...! You disgusting creature...! I hate you...! I hate you more than anything in this world...! I'll never forgive you, Shinazugawa Sanemi...!! You'll go to hell alone...!!"

“Think what you want, the truth is is that you killed her Yuko, had you not acted, she wouldn’t be dead.” He yanked the chain hard as he turned to lead her out, intending on making her walk the entire distance on foot- they would be able to reach their new home just before daybreak if they moved quickly. “I’ll get you another, so shut up and stop crying.”

“Go ahead and give me a reason to turn you, Yuko. If you think I’d let you die, you thought wrong.” He led her out of the temple, heading toward the deeper forest at a brisk pace.

Sanemi would have to shrug off the hurtful words, Yuko just wasn’t adjusting well to the situation, but he’d fix that. Once they were relocated, he could properly focus on them again, maybe he could even try another child.

She stumbled behind him, forced to keep the pace he set, knowing he was trying to beat the sun, and did little except gather her nerves again. And pray over and over for Himari to forgive her.

He was brutal, not letting up to let her rest, yanking her forward when she stumbled so she was forced to stay on her feet.
Just as Sanemi had expected, by the time they arrived at the new location, the pale light of dawn started to brighten the forest around them. It was a large manor, built of dark wood, well kept and as silent as a crypt. “Inside.” He ordered, making his way to the front gate. This time there were no bodies strewn around, not even a splatter of blood or heavy presence of blood in the air.

It smelled of cedar and dust, relatively clean inside, but it lacked in decorations. He brought her down long halls, towards the kitchen and down to the cellar. He fixed her chain to where one would attach a metal hook to hang food to dry, leaving her enough chain to lay down, but nothing more. “You’ll stay here for now.” He said, moving to stand in front of her and grabbing her chin. “Yuko, I can make you happy, but you have to let me.”

Sanemi slapped her across the face, scowling softly. "Don't speak like that, do you hear me?"

This made him angry, backhanding her harder than before, the veins on his forehead almost threatening to pop. “I’m talking to you, Yuko!”

He grabbed her by the chin, making her look up at him as he searched her eyes. “Good, that’s better.” He said before he kissed her firmly.

He was pleased that she kissed back, backing her up against the wall and pinning her with his body.

He punched her hard in the stomach, glaring down at her with bright burning eyes. “Did you think shedding a few tears was your punishment?”

He grabbed the chain roughly and lifted her up off the floor by the collar. “I do.” Blood red tears dripped down his face. “But you have to be punished, Yuko, I can’t have you trying to run away again.”
