She was caught off guard by his enthusiasm, thinking for a minute. “I’ve never thought about it truthfully.. kids were always something seen as a luxury or a burden..” She sighed. “Who knows, maybe I just got lucky so far, maybe I’ll have your kids.” She joked.

She kissed back with a soft noise. “I’ve got my hands full enough with you as is.” She pulled away to stand so she could clean herself up and redress.

“I really should hurry to patrol, Kojurou might notice soon if he doesn’t see me on my routes.” She said, quickly pulling on her pants and boots. “I liked this though.. we should do it again.”

Megohime laughed softly, fixing her hair before giving him a grin. “Got it.” She said, heading off and leaving him alone in her room.

Yukimura had worked together with Claudia to set up a meeting between Akihime and Mitsunari, only a few days passing before he escorted Akihime to the colony to speak with him.
Jin met them when they arrived, there to escort Akihime and Yukimura to Mitsunari. “Otani-sama, Sanada-dono.” She bowed her head to the two as she approached, the heavy uneven step of her prosthetic leg sounding on the stone ground.
“Welcome, Ishida has tasked me with escorting you to his office, I hope you don’t mind, Shima is off on other business at the moment.”

"Ah, Jin! Good to see you." Akihime smiled warmly as she moved toward the blonde woman, "I don't mind at all, you've always been pleasant company. How's the leg? It's been cold lately."

Jin smiled softly. “Ah, the cold definitely makes itself at home in my stump, but staying active keeps the most of it away.” She said. “And you? I’ve heard that you hired a Tag finally, this must be him?”
Yukimura bowed to Jin. “Yes, I’m grateful to be on Akihime’s team, even if I have only been here briefly.” He said.
“I bet, you’ve got a good boss- do your best to not get on her bad side.” She teased with a chuckle.
“I wouldn’t dream of such a thing.” Yukimura said with a soft smile.

"Yukimura has been doing a wonderful job keeping me as well as I have been." Akihime smiled, "Come, we shouldn't keep Mitsunari waiting, he's crabby if he sits too long." She moved inside with Jin and looked around; she hadn't been to the huild headquarters in a long time. She hardly remembered what it looked like.

Jin led Akihime easily through the massive building that was the headquarters of the colony. “I hope you’ve been caring for your health, getting enough sleep and eating properly?” She asked as they walked, looking down at her with a gentle expression.
“Ah, I’ve been making sure she takes better care of her health.” Yukimura said.
Jin stopped outside the office door and turned to them, smiling. “Good, make sure to care for yourself, otherwise it won’t be a bullet that does you in. Both of you.” She said, knocking on the door. “Ishida, your guests are here.” She called through the door.

"Thank you, Jin.." Akihime said gently.
"Send them in." Mitsunari called through the door. When Jin opened the door for them, Mitsunari stood, Akihime watching his eyes fainting flick back and forth to try and focus on them.
"Akihime, Sanada, thank you for coming." He greeted. Akihime smiled softly as she moved to sit close - almost too close - to Mitsunari.
"Thank you for having us, Mitsunari. How have you been keeping?"
"Well enough. Too many Tags, not enough spots for them." He replied before nodding to where he saw Jin's blonde hair, "Thank you, you may go."

Jin nodded and closed the door behind her, leaving everyone inside to do their business in private.
Yukimura took a seat near Akihime, but not as close as to not crowd Mitsunari. This was his first time inside the colony himself, surprised by how large it was and how Mitsunari kept it all running.

"You wanted to talk about Amaya?" Mitsunari asked, fighting a frown. Akihime nodded.
"I wanted to see if you could convince her to let me speak with Sarutobi. Our last interaction with him was less than civil."

Yukimura frowned softly. “We know that she had been with the colony for quite some time before joining Sarutobi’s company.” He said, brows furrowed. “You’re close with her, if anyone can convince her, it’s you.”

Mitsunari leaned back in his seat, letting the frown win, "While it's true she was one of mine, I cannot guarantee that she'll entertain you."
"It's worth a shot, Mitsunari." Akihime said, almost pleading.

Amaya was similar to Mitsunari, an orphaned tag mentored by another. She was a good soldier, and loyal to boot- just like Mitsunari.
Yukimura frowned, looking to Akihime, knowing she would have a better time convincing Mitsunari than he would.

"And you merely want an audience? Why not just call on Sarutobi himself?"
"Well, I did break his jaw.." Akihime said sheepishly, "Not sure how well that call would go~"
"Akihime, this is serious." Mitsunari stated sternly, "I will speak to her, but I can't promise anything will come of it."
"If she tells you anything, will you let me know?" She asked. Mitsunari frowned more.
"Betray her trust?"
"No, not necessarily! Just, if she confides in you about Matsunaga, I want to know."

“Please, Ishida-dono.” Yukimura said with a soft frown. “We don’t want to have to involve Amaya in this as much as we can, but she does play an important part. We need her to be able to speak with Sarutobi.” He said.

Mitsunari was not at all happy about this, but relented regardless.
"I will call upon her and speak with her, see if she and Sarutobi will sit with you."
"Thank you so much, Mitsunari." Akihime clapped her hands together, smiling brightly.

Yukimura bowed his head as well, fists clenched lightly on his knees. “Thank you, Ishida-dono.”

"And, if there is any evidence that damns Matsunaga, you will have it." He told her. Akihime smiled more.
"Thank you again, really." She said, "If there is anything I can do to repay the favor."
"Rengoku." Mitsunari looked away, "If you could help keep him from Matsunaga, I would be grateful." Akihime blinked before nodding.
"Of course, I'll do what I can for him."
