Soon they were arriving at the ball and it seemed like the elder duke himself was greeting everybody, and was just eyeballing all of the woman. Calla was just watching from where she was sitting in front of one of the guards although was using their help to get down from the horse, least she accidentally flash the whole world. Ianite was climbing out of the carriage with that of Adrian's help.
 
Adrian helped her out and then kept her close when they went to head in. Adrian had seen Darians carriage so he knew the two of them were there already and he ws looking forward to seeing his friend
 
They were walking into the ball and it was just full of people from all over - and a lot of the woman were definitely showing more skin than usual. Calla was there with Ianite's personal guardian as her date, so that the pair had an excuse to always remain close to Ianite as well. "Hmmm.... This definitely feels like a pervert's paradise." Calla was commenting after a moment in time.

Darian was nudging Cat and nodding towards the others as he spotted them, although he was a bit curious about the orange haired woman with them. The man he knew as one of the guards within the mansion at Adrian's but the woman he didn't know. Other than she had also been in the wedding, but he hadn't gotten her name at all.
 
Cat looked over and smiled when she spotted Ianite and she grabbed his hand and then headed in their direction going over to greet them and hopefully stick with them for a little bit
 
"I think she is a maid of Ianites as I have seen her before" Cat looked at her and chuckled knowing full well the female had to be doing what she did for a reason
 
This had Darian giving a nod before he was walking over and greeting the others. "I am Calla, a pleasure to meet you. I am a lady-in-waiting to Miss Ianite." Calla was speaking after he was introducing himself to her as well.
 
Cat hugged Ianite and then smiled at the female "you look amazing" and she felt that she did look beautiful so she was happy to say as much.
 
Ianite was just smiling before she spoke, "Thanks... But I feel so.... underdressed... I don't like showing off this much." Go figure there were already men coming over to ask them for a dance.
 
Darian was just chuckling before he was looking towards Ianite out of the corner of her eye as she was speaking, "Noble etiquette dictates that a woman's first dance is with her husband if she is married or with the escort that she arrived with. Then after that first dance, she could accept or decline dances as she choose."
 
Soon enough the couples were heading off so that they could dance, Calla even drifting off with the guard so that she could dance. Although she was keeping her eyes on those around her, just making mental notes of a few men that seemed to be taking close interest in that of Ianite and even Cat.
 
Darian was just drawing him closer before he was mumbling that this was a pervert's paradise. Even Ianite seemed to be drawing closer to Adrian.
 
Adrian hugged her close to him while they danced and spoke softly to her "you are welcome to stay as close as you want to me tonight I dont mind"

Cat nodded her head "agreed"
 
"Well it sounds like you aren't going to get your wish though." Ianite was whispering as the duke was making an announcement that after this first dance he was wanting all of the ladies to follow him.
 
Ianite was just giving a small nod of her head before she was looking to the other two ladies as they were coming over, Darian giving Cat the command to stay close to the other two as well.
 
Ianite was nodding and soon enough they were heading off towards a different part of the mansion, and there were a lot of other ladies that seemed a bit nervous.
 
Cat could tell they were all nervous and would rather be back with their partners then with this man and she wondered if there was a way to get him banned from ever hosting another ball
 
The man was just raising his arms and announcing that he was so happy that they were all there, and it seemed like he was announcing that he was seeking a wife for his son. A young man about the same age as Darian and Adrian - which had people a bit excited but fearful all at once.
 
Calla was just watching for a brief moment in time before she was commenting in a soft voice, "He is trying to get anybody to be his son's wife because he is wheelchair bound and unable to find a lover himself."
