A few days had gone by and during that time Darian and Cat had actually sat down and talked things over. He was explaining that this was a new life that she was going to get use to, or at least try to get use to anyways. He explained to her as well that sometimes her actions did reflect quite badly on himself and his family - which wasn't going to do them any good whatsoever. He even, rather bluntly, pointed out that she needed to stop acting as though it was only her that had forced into this marriage, he had been forced into it as well. This would easily tell her that he had been forced by the king to get married, so there wasn't any easy way that he could have denied it at all. Her on the other hand, her parents could have turned down the money and she wouldn't have been forced into it at all, and Darian would just have moved onto the next potential bride candidate. Now was the day when he had invited her parents over and he had even told her that he was going to do that - to give her the chance to make a decision on what she was wanting to do with her life. "Tell them to leave, that you never want to see them again. Curse them to the high heavens. Tell them that you want them to visit once a week. Whatever you wish but - be honest."
As this was happening, Ianite was sitting in the more stocked library and was just working on getting some of the books that she had bought a few days ago more organized on the shelves. She was just humming a bit and getting some help from Kelly as needed. While she would have gotten help from Calla - the woman wasn't even at the mansion at the time. No the day prior she had gotten word from her own family that her mother was quite sickly and they didn't think she had long to live. So she had asked for a few days of leave from Ianite so that she could visit her family - although of course Ianite had gone to Adrian since she hadn't known if there was some special way to go about that. "Do you mind putting these four books up over there on that shelf?" Ianite was holding out a few books to a guard that was there to assist them as needed and was pointing to a shelf, and the man was doing that without so much as an argument. In fact all morning, the man had been super helpful and the trio had been talking about different books. If Adrian did check in on his wife he would see that she was actually quite happy at that point in time, even if she was still more wheelchair bound for a few more days at the least.
