during their time out they would receive a letter form Cat with an offer for tea later in the week

The letter was being placed in Ianite's room for when she returned.

Adrian worked but wrote to Darian to see how things were going wit him and Cat

Darian was doing his own work at that point in time although was looking at the crow that was delivering the message - the way that the men exchanged letters. So much easier. He was responding back that it was going oh so fantastic and he loved having the label of being an awful husband who makes his wife do everything.

Adrian blinked when he read that and simply asked what the hell had happened as he was so confused

Darian was reading the message once he got it and responded explaining the situation about how she had gotten upset that he said he would ready a carriage for her, and wanted to do it alone. Yet in her doing it alone, resulted in her staff beginning to spread about rumors.

Adrian read it and then wrote back 'let her learn from her mistake or do things behind her back if you feel the need to'

Darian was just reading it before he was writing back, 'It just sucks having the rumor spreading that I am a bad husband who doesn't care of my wife, that I make her do all of these things.'

'I understand I would hate it as well even more so if it wasn't true but she needs time to adjust and to learn how things are in our world' Adrain knew that like is Ianite she had come from a lower ranked home and did a lot for herself

Darian is just groaning and rubbing his head a bit before letting out a breath of air.

while they were changing letters a maid came in and reported the Cat was unwell and she refused to let them call the doctor

Darian was just looking over before he was speaking, "There are consequences to actions. We will respect her wish then. Do not call for a doctor." With that he was sending a letter back to Adrian letting him know about the new development.

the maid nodded her head and then turned and left letting the rest of the staff know that their master had spoken on it.

Darian was just giving a sigh before he was commenting to myself, "Already have the label of being a bad husband, sure now everybody will just see me as a worse husband."

Adrian looked at the letter and then wrote back 'she got caught in the rain yesterday while here could that be why she is sick?'

'I don't know. She doesn't talk to me about anything. Shuts me out. I get it she doesn't like this marriage but I think she forgets that we were both forced into it.' was the response that Adrian would get back eventually.

'maybe you two need to have a fight and not one where your both polite but an actual row get the feeling out there before they make things worse' Adrian wondered what was going on with Cat and why she had agreed to get married in the first place if she wasn't happy

Darian was just writing back stating that she was just going to deal with it and let her do as she wanted. 'My family is well known but not the strongest of the Duke families so.... if my family name is ruined because of a woman, it'll continue to stand somewhat strong.'

'you two need counseling' Adrian figured that with things like they were it would only get worse rather then better

Darian was just stating that he was going to reach out to the king to request a divorce.

Adrian knew that wasn't going to go over well with the king

Darian was just commenting before he spoke 'Besides the rumors that are going around that are ultimately being caused by her actions... could ruin my family and that is the last thing that the king would want.'

'talk to her make her understand you two have not been married that long the king won't allow it' most divorces happened only after three to five years

Darian was just sighing before he spoke, 'Happy you have a wife that seems to actually try.'

'my wife was also sick when she arrived but we had our ups and down plus I helped ruin her family so that helped' Adrian figured her would have to explain but he didnt mind at all
