“I cannot.” She said firmly, not moving from her spot at the table. “I’m sorry, I know it must be upsetting, and I apologize that I can’t explain my reasons.”
Jin felt her heart ache in her chest, looking down at the table to escape his gaze. Returning back to the CCG after her death? She wasn’t a human being anymore, she was a ghoul- the likelihood that she’d end up locked away and picked apart was high. “I don’t think that I can.”
He smiled softly, though it still seemed sad, "Thank you...would you like some coffee?" This was weird for him, merely due to the situation, but he was happy to have her back.
Jin gave a nod. “Black, please.” She said softly, finding herself feeling awkward. Kojurou probably was put off by her being a ghoul now- he probably knew she had consumed human flesh.
Akihime had to be drugged up far too often to be a rather productive young woman; any lucidity she held came only with violence. But when she was sedated, she was an absolute delight of a pet.
She was kept sedated most of the time, especially so when Laurent was around. He dealt with Akihime’s fits of violence by letting her tire herself out before sedating her once more, but he never hit her.
Sasuke had heard that Laurent had Akihime from some of his other informants and dared not tell Yukimura about it. Not yet. He needed to see what they were up against first, so he told Yukimura he was going out to get more info before heading out.
The place Laurent was living wasn’t all that far off, only just outside the city- a large secluded property. It was going to be easy, all he had to do was scope out the building and go home.
He staked the whole building, watching routines as he tried to look for Akihime. The place was large and there were a lot of rooms to look through without being caught, but he had to try.
There was the scent of several ghouls and humans all over the estate, and it wasn’t long before Sasuke caught the familiar scent of Akihime. It was coming from the garden, where inside a lone person sat.
Sasuke moved toward the garden, looking through the glass and seeing Akihime just...sitting there. He tapped gently on the glass, hoping to get her attention, but she didn't move.
