What is Reality? (With Carius Irion)

Elkariel and Alarielle's silence had lasted only a few seconds to a minute, but given the importance of the situation, it was easy to mistake the time to have dragged on. Elkariel would reply to the Everqueen.

"<I have come to secure a trade deal, as well as a defence treaty with the esteemed Everqueen and her Region. It is widely known that the Sisters of Avelorn, Knights of the Queen as well as your own ability is unmatched. Laurelorn is beset by the forces of the Beastmen, Green Skins and even Norscans. Our Forest is ever on the brink of collapse and destruction. We would be willing to send you resources in exchange for the services of your troops, as well as the training in how to fight in the woods, that such an exchange would surely benefit them.>"

Elkariel states, clearing her throat slightly afterward.

"<That is a most serious predicament. To have one's homes threatened by such serious foes. Though, we have our own problems in Ulthuan, the Dark Elves make landfall on our Western Coasts, the Vampire Pirates of Count Noctilus threaten us from the south, even sailing into the center of the bay from time to time, in brazen acts of defiance and threat. It will take me some time, to know if I even have the forces to send, if I could.>"

The tall woman states, thinking on the matter, a comfortable silence fell over the courtyard, as Elkariel let the Everqueen think, glancing over at her pupil.

Ginger's eyes and mouth ended up stuck on wide, as all was finally clear the direness of Elkariel's situation, not to mention Elkariel's people. She looked to the Everqueen for the answer, only to find the queen in the same situation. What kind of world did she land in, and how could she get back? Hartfeld was bad at times, and Northridge was nearly destroyed by a madman... But this was a whole other level of war.

She really wished she had gotten farther than the first 76 laws in this world, because it sounded like a peace negotiation was needed with all parties, something she had studied in international law. Or rather, had just started studying in Hartfeld.

She got a determined look on her face, as she pondered how to explain the international law that she herself barely grasped to the two at the table with her, where she was the foreigner, not even from this world, or even universe by the sound of it. It looked to her like a very important question had to be asked, and wondered if either had thought of it... Or anybody else for that matter, like this Phoenix King Elkariel mentioned.

For the sake of etiquette, since she hadn't been addressed, she stayed silent, but either should be able to see her lawyer gears turning.

"<And what of this Human, what brings you to petition my attention?>"

Alarielle asks, using the Human as a way to break the silence, but also give her the time to think, doubting a Human had anything worth her time to replace her thought process that was already flowing through her brain. As she was seated, small flowers would already be sprouting around them, the abilities of the Everqueen over Nature seemed to be fairly strong.

Elkariel looked over at the Human, giving her a nod that it was her queue to speak, that there was no reason for her to remain silent if she could form the thoughts, sentences and will to do so.

Ginger cleared her throat subconsciously as she finally had her opportunity. "<Thank you for having us, Your Radiance.>" Ginger began. "<I am, or rather was, a third year law student at Hart-field University of another world, and was brought here by some kind of tempest a little over a month ago. Since then, I have acquired a law book, just in the last week, to continue my studies. I can't help but wonder if a possible peace summit, couldn't be reached with some of the adversaries on both sides. For Laurelorn and for Ulthuan. Where I'm from, we have international law to govern different nationalities, and peace is often preferred by all parties. I know I'm a mere student, but if it helps...>" She shrugged. "<I speak both Eltharin and Reikspiel, I don't know if it would be enough, but I can try to help mediate between races?>" She then held her breath.

Elkariel sighed, patting Ginger on the back as she looked over at her, speaking before the Everqueen.

"<None of those races would want peace, they worship Chaos. The Beastmen are, well, Man and Beast hybrids. The Norscans are mad lunatics from the Northern Wastes and the Green Skins are a race that live only to fight and slaughter. No peace can be attained with them, let alone maintained for any period of time.>"

Alarielle nods, gesturing to the words of her Wood Elf compatriot.

"And the Dark Elves also worship Chaos, they seek the destruction of the High Elves to enslave us. There can be no peace, with any and all who worship the Dark Gods."

The Everqueen states, receiving a nod from Elkariel. Alarielle rises to her feet, motioning for the two to do the same, before she walks to the edge of the courtyard, right in front of a sheer ledge that led down to the sea. She pointed westward.

"There resides the Dark Elves that swarm our shores and enslave my people. A wasteland of jagged rocks, blackened ground and unholy rituals. It is an unforgiving land, made so by their own actions."

Ginger's heart sank as she heard about the races that were enemies to the High and Wood Elves. It almost sounded, as much as she hated to admit, that this universe was really the literal good versus evil battle, and the only way good could win was to expunge evil completely.

Her countenance fell next as she looked at the lands the queen pointed out to her and Elkariel. This was not what she had hoped when she offered the idea.

"<Is war their answer to everything? It's as if they only have hammers in their toolbox and everything is a nail.>" Ginger growled with clenched fists.
"<Chaos. Anarchy. All extremists truly think about.>" It sounded like Ginger had a taste of this herself in Hartfeld, and it was almost personal.

She shivered. "<I'm sorry you have to go through this all the time. What can be done to help you? Perhaps the Phoenix King...?>" That almost sounded like a plea.

Elkiariel's eyes went wide before she placed her hand very firmly over Ginger's mouth to silence her the moment she heard 'phoe'. She bowed her head softly to the Everqueen who raised her own hand, waving it dismissively with a warm smile on her face.

"<While I believe that Finubar would like to help the Wood Elves, as he is rather fond of them after his trip to the Old World to gauge whether they should be worthy to ally with, he ultimately deemed them worthy, though, the Wood Elves were a different matter. While the Humans of the Empire and Bretonnia had shown themselves to be capable and promising, the Wood Elves, much like ourselves, are in a state of decline, slowly spiraling towards inevitable extinction. I do not mean to disrespect your Queen, Marrisith, but perhaps it would have been more wise to seek the aid of the Empire?>"

The Everqueen states, looking to Elkariel. Elkariel inhales slowly before she spoke in turn.

"<We did try to seek an alliance with the men of Middenland, Nordland, Reikland, Hochland, Averland, Stirland, Wissenland, Ostland and Ostermark. We even tried the filth from Marienburg, greedy fools. Only Reikland seemed interested in aiding us, but they had a demand that Queen Marrisith was not willing to go along with, without at least trying to reach out to our cousins. The Emperor wished to wed our Queen. It would benefit both of our races, to be fair to the Emperor, but it is a rather dramatic choice to make, without trying to gain the aid of our Cousins."

Ginger was about to ask what century it was, that the only alliances were through marriage, but bit her tongue. Literally, as she winced, before making a complete fool of herself.

She took a deep breath before commenting diplomatically, "<Don't men know there are other means of forging alliances then marriage? I can fully understand Queen Marrisith being hesitant, especially with a declining populous.>" She shook her head. "<With all the inroads to international treaties we have on my world, there are still a stubborn few who want the woman to give up her chance of a loving union, for one of convenience, that is usually one sided.>"

Ginger then pointed out, although Marrisith probably already knew this, that marriage to a human emperor could only benefit him, and speed the decline of the elven race, since any and all children of the union would only be half elven.
"<Where's the long-term benefits for the Wood Elves?>"

She sighed. "<I'm probably preaching to the choir at this point. I just couldn't stay silent any longer about the convenience marriage after you both have told me your races are actually in decline. And to man at that. Elves are in my world's legends, and that could be exactly what happened to them. They are not believed to be real in my time.>" Her shoulders shook, and traces of tears could be seen starting to run down her cheeks.

"Queen Marrisith would gain access to the machinations of the Empire, through the Emperor. She would be able to request State Troops from nearby Provinces in the name of the Emperor, and, should they want to stay on the Emperor's good side, they would be obliged to send said troops. It would grant her the ability to keep her own Elven forces in reserve to keep the peace in the Forests, while also sending the Human troops outside her realm. It would also open up trade with the Empire more easily, as Middenheim wouldn't be able to try and strangle supply routes and roads to Laurelorn, not that there are very many of those anyway. To be fair, it benefits my Queen more then it does the Emperor, as all he would get is the Queen's hand in marriage and the right to declare which Provinces may trade with the Wood Elves, and who can't. As well as siphoning forces from his reserves to the Wood Elves, to fight our wars for us."

Elkariel states, shrugging lightly as she looks over at Ginger. She cocks her head to the side, bemused by the seeming outrage of the Human, over Humans gaining one over Elves.

"The Queen isn't opposed to a marriage to the Emperor, she simply doesn't want to jump to such a binding option, if she has other more simplified options available to her first."

Ginger nodded as she relaxed, her shoulders shrugging. "<And since your people are long lived... The benefits would be more long term. I hadn't thought of THAT. Sounds like Queen Marrisith would make a good lawyer if our situations were reversed.>" She took a deep breath. "<My apologies for making a scene, Your Radiance, and to you as well, Elkariel. I wanted to be a lawyer to fight for the little guy. Those oppressed, or under appreciated. Especially when someone with more power, lords it over them.>"

With new resolve, and another shrug, she stated,
"<If there's anything I can do of service to both of you... Helping set up some kind of international law, here, although I admit I've not gotten very far in the lawbook Elkariel helped me purchase, I'm a quick study and can show what I learned on my world about treatises and mediating for peace among those races you can barter peace with. It is my calling, and why I went to school from the start.>"

Alarielle raises her hand and gestures back to the seats. She would walk with Elkariel towards the seats and wait for the younger Elf to sit down, before she did much the same, the two Elves waiting for the Human to sit down as well. They wanted everyone to be at the table before they continued. Alarielle speaking first a soft smile on her face as she looked over at Ginger.

"I hear you've been lusting after one of my Guards, after only just seeing her."

She states with a soft smile on her face, eyebrow raised with Elkariel groaning lightly. Of course the Averlorn Handmaiden had heard Ginger and reported the situation to Alarielle, and now it had come back around to Ginger to handle the situation.

Ginger turned red with embarrassment and gave a shy smile. She cleared her throat. "She is very attractive... I've always been attracted to my own gender." She admitted
"And although three hands taller than myself, I couldn't stop looking. My apologies." She could barely meet the queen's eyes. "I... Had a girlfriend in Hart-field I fear I'll never see again, and..." A shrug. "She reminded me of her with her white hair. And tallness, actually." The 5-8 law student had been dating a star female basketball player who towered seven inches over her. Maybe that was why she had found Elkariel so attractive, too. "I meant no disrespect, Your Radiance, honest."

"Why don't you go see if the two of you can get into some trouble, while the two of us discuss matters?"

Alarielle asks, gesturing to herself and Elkariel, who nods for Ginger to go see what she can get up to while the two Elves discuss their business alone, leaving the adult work to the two experienced in it, and actually trained for it.

If she did decide to go exploring Gaen Vale, she would find many Knights of Avelorn guarding or patrolling, given the risk of Dark Elves, since they were only on the other side of the mountain range to the West.

Ginger arose and bowed, and although already bidden to leave, "Thank you, Your Radiance, and now if you'll excuse me." She stated, before making her way across the courtyard and to the same guard as earlier.

She approached with all of the dignity she could muster. This will be just like asking Tiffany back home... Just DON'T call her Tiffany! Clearing her throat, she asked, "Milady, the Everqueen has said I am excused, and I would very much like to see the town if I may, and if you will show it to me?" At least she didn't call her Tiffany... But she forgot to ask for her name!

(I'm terrible with elven names)

Ovirie looked down at the tiny Human in front of her, raising her eyebrow as she stood at a grand total of 7'5 with her armor and helmet boosting her by a good few inches, with her helmet alone adding a solid 6" by itself. She would cock her head as she listened, the Human seemed harmless, enough so she wasn't entirely sure why she needed an escort, but nodded softly, gesturing to the gateway to follow Ginger out of the Keep and into the High Elven city outside.

"<I suppose if the Everqueen herself has declared it necessary to give you an escort around Gaen Vale, then it is my pleasure and my duty to provide it.>"

The High Elf states as she follows the Human out of Gaen Vale and into the city, looking through the streets at many of the shops, vendors and stands.

Ginger took a deep breath and gave a bow.
"<Permit me to introduce myself. Ginger. Whom do I have the pleasure of company?>"

As she was told, she also shook her head, explaining. "<Merely to keep me safe as I don't know my way around town. This is my first visit, Ovirie.>"

As they looked around at the shops, and other buildings, Ginger asked, "<Is there any place that is your favorite of all these? Or a spot of nature where we can watch for animals or hear the birds, see the natural sights?"

It wasn't that she wasn't pleased with seeing the buildings, shops and all... She was just too aware of the 'bartering' that seemed to be the go to, here. She doubted there were that many elven females that enjoyed the touch of a woman, and frankly, she shuddered of the thought of being intimate with a male, not sure if she wouldn't be taken advantage of, in more ways than one, considering the males of her kind had been so disrespectful to her and her female friends where she was from, and how mankind hadn't been very thoughtful of encroaching on the elves here. Besides, if there was ever a chance of her getting back, the last thing she needed was to be pregnant.

Ovirie raised her eyebrow before motioning for the Human to follow her. She would walk out of the keep and towards the city around it. She hummed softly to herself, a soft smile on her face as she was allowed to go and leave her post to go and explore town at her own leisure. She would head past the buildings and towards a hill outside the city. She would find a nice sunny tree near the ocean, laying under it with a warm smile on her face.

"This isn't a terrible spot. No one really comes here and the waves make a pleasant sound, the weather around Gaen Vale rarely ever changes, so it's always a good place to head, aside from during the times when you're on duty. Don't do it then."

She says with a giggle, sprawling out in the grass-infested sand.

(All dialogue in Eltharin)

Ginger noticed the hand movement, and followed Ovirie to her favorite spot, admired the tree for a moment, before settling down next to the much taller elven woman. She took a few more minutes before sighing contently, watching the waves break against the beach and rubbed the grass. "Now this is what I'm talking about!" She laid back and looked up at the sky. "One could spend all day here, without really realizing it, save for the sun's track across the sky."

She shook her head, "Of course not, one should never leave work without the okay of the boss. We learn that early on our working days. Where I'm from, that's actually considered stealing from your boss, or company." She breathed in the (mildly) fresh, salty air. "I definitely know what speaks to me about this spot, a sense of peacefulness." She turned on her side, leaning on her elbow, as she looked at her companion for the day. "But what makes it special to you?" Ginger was genuinely curious, and her eyes and soft smile upon her lips shone with that curiosity.

"The serenity. The scenery, the warmth of the sand, yet soft feeling of the grass that grows from it."

The Elf states, smiling as she raises a handful of said sand, letting it flow from her hand onto the ground. She leaned back laying on the sand and letting herself soak up some of the sun that burned down upon the land from above, her head under the shade granting leaves of a tree, while the rest of her body soaked up the sunny rays of light that shone from above. Her armor held a strange addition for a female warrior, a cod-piece, designed to protect a member that usually only males had.

Not knowing anything about armor, as that would have been Wendy on the yacht, Ginger would have completely missed that. She had looked the woman up and down, several times, as a matter of fact. Wearing a slightly mischievous smile as she raised an eyebrow, she asked, "Ever build sandcastles? My girlfriend taught me this way to do it without a pail... It means you can design them any way you please."

She jumped up and went to an area close to but not into the waves, after stripping off her nice clothes, laying them by the tree, and kneeling there on the beach, starting to sculpt, smiling over to Ovirie, with eyes twinkling, inviting her to join in the process. "Come help. I can't build our castle alone!" She already, within a few minutes, had a two and a half hand high "tower" that looked almost square, instead of the usual circular with a pail.

It was still standing, because she was tamping the sand as she constructed it... Free hand!

Ovirie would remove the armor plating, leaving herself in nothing but the clothing that would go under it. She would remove much of that as well, leaving herself in more or less boxers and a bra, with a sizable bulge in the boxers. She would lay on her side, working the sand into a similar pile, making a rival castle, using some sticks as well to act like Ginger's world Rebar. Ovirie would place a little scrap of fabric on a stick, placing it at the top of her little castle, showing it was hers now.

"I hereby decree this to be Fort Ovi, lead fortress of this beach and bastion of the sand realm."

She states, looking semi proud of her sand tower.

Ginger couldn't help but notice the bulge now. She looked back to the breasts, then to the bulge, then to Ovirie's face... Then finally back to her work, just as she had finished the castle, but not named it or flagged it, Ovirie was finished. Flag and all.

"Well, that sucks. So, Castle Aylesworth has nothing but the land she's sitting on? Willing to share some of that realm?" Ginger asked coyly. She kept looking Ovirie over more out of curiosity, now, as she'd never met even a human futa. She'd just heard of them, and some stories. "Is that an engorged clit, or are you just happy to see me?" She asked crawling towards Ovirie, curiosity fully piqued, eyes going back and forth between breasts and bulge.

Ovirie had been about to reply to the petition for some shared territory, before she heard the other question. She smiled to herself and laid down on her back, smiling over at the Human. He would lean her upper half up on her elbows as she looked over at the woman approaching her.

"Why don't you find out, little lady, maybe we can negotiate some land for your fort?"

She asks jokingly, smiling over at her while her bulge only started to grow at the idea of some attention from the Human, she'd never been with a Human before.

Ginger couldn't hide her smirk, just like she couldn't hide her curiosity. "You got a pussy, too, definitely game..." She actually felt, not just the bulge, but below it, running her forefinger right where her slit should be. "Mmm, doesn't feel like it, but I am well aware of how to pleasure a woman... Just not with a visible clit." She stopped only long enough to peel off her bikini, top and bottom, giving Ovirie enough time to reveal the swollen member.

The Elf moved her briefs aside, showing the space below her shaft was devoid of either balls or a slit, smooth. She was a solid 10" of smooth, porcelain white meat. She smiled over to the Human, flexing her shaft to make it swing back and slap into her own belly, just as pale and smooth.

"It looks like you're enjoying the view, little Human."

She says with a warm giggle, clearly not minding the attention from Ginger or the comments.
