Yuko hissed softly before giving a nod, "Please get out to a safe area, the other kakushi should be outside the village with the other survivors. I'll go find Haganezuka-san and get him to safety as well."

“Ah.” Botan seemed a bit embarrassed by something. “I might need help getting to the others..” That’s right, her ankle was red and swollen from being broken, leaving her unable to walk.

Yuko blushed in embarrassment and nodded, "Gomen, Bo-chan.." She said and put Botan's arm over her shoulder to help keep her steady as they walked, "I'm glad I got to you in time, though...I would never forgive myself if I were too late.."

Botan walked with some difficulty, but with Yuko’s help they managed to get a good distance from her shack. “Don’t talk like that right now, I’m fine and you’re going to go save the others too.”

“You should have no shortage of weapons here, so give it all you’ve got, Yuko-chan!” Botan said, giving a thumbs up.

She smiled more, "Thank you, I will." She said. She got Botan to the other kakushi and told them she would try and find more people before hurrying off to find Hotaru.

Going back through the woods was eerie, the sounds of fighting coming from several different directions, but she saw no more demons, perhaps Hotaru had already fled? She was close to turning back when she saw something strange; Muichiro suspended in a large amount of water shaped like a pot. She only saw it for a brief second before the water vase exploded as the young Hashira attacked it, freeing himself from the water and landing on the ground.

"Muichiro-sama...!" She gasped softly and hobbled over quickly, watching him as he struggled toward a boy in a hyottoko mask - she remembered his name was Kotetsu - and she noticed a small demon fish rush toward the hashira. She shifted her weight and jumped forward, swinging her blade and lopping off the fish's head before she landed roughly on the ground. How ungraceful, but she wouldn't catch herself on her good leg in time and figured falling would have been better than hurting her leg.
"Are you ok, Muichiro-sama? Does he need help?" She asked.

Muichiro was hacking up large amounts of water from his lungs, clinging to Kotetsu who was collapsed on the ground and bleeding from his injuries. It took him a moment to be able to speak through the pain. “A kakushi..?” He looked a bit confused as where she came from. “He was stabbed in the solar plexus, treat him immediately.”

She nodded quickly and pushed herself up to move closer.
"Tokito...f...forget about me..." Kotetsu rasped, but didn't have the strength to fight Yuko when she took him from Muichiro, "Help Haganezuka... protect...the swords..."
"Haganezuka-san? Is he unharmed still?" Yuko asked gently as she went to work treating Kotetsu's wound.

“Probably not.” Muichiro was on his feet in an instant, blood still dripping from the wounds in his face from the spikes he had pulled out only a short time ago. “Once you’ve treated him, get away from here.” He ordered and was off in a flash, blade in hand as he headed straight for the shed.

"Wh- matte!!" She called and groaned before she moved to examine the wound. She blinked gently, seeing the hilt of Rengoku's nichirin fall from Kotetsu's clothes before she saw that Kotetsu was completely fine. Her heart grew heavy and she helped the boy sit up.
"Even in death..." She muttered softly, thinking of the late Fire Hashira and how noble he was in his desire to protect others, "Will you be ok, Kotetsu-kun?"
"Y...Yeah...it's just my arm that hurts...please, help Tokito...!" He said. Yuko nodded and stood, grabbing her blade and hurrying off.

Yuko had almost made it to the shack before it exploded outward, large tentacles writhing with two figures caught up in them. One was Tokito, and the other was another sword smith that wasn’t Haganezuka, a figure almost completely obscured by the tentacles standing behind them with a pot in their hand. Was this the demon that was after Haganezuka? This one was much different from the fish before, much stronger.

Thr force of wind the explosion exuded knocked her on her ass for a second before she pushed herself up carefully, "Muichiro-sama!" She tossed away her annoying coverings and looked past the tentacles and at the demon that wielded them. He was hideous, and his eyes showed he was an Upper Moon. How did he find this place? Behind the demon was Haganezuka, too focused on his sword work to really notice the fight happening around him.

Haganezuka was wounded already, cuts covering his entire body, but they seemed shallow enough to not be life threatening. The upper moon turned to look when Yuko called out, making a noise of curiosity. “Another slayer? No matter, no matter. It won’t make any difference how many weaklings show up, I’ll dispose of them all~”
I’m the blink of an eye the tentacles wrapped around Muichiro and the other smith were cut, the Hashira landing easily. “Kakushi, you’re still here..”

Muichiro had strange marks on his face, cloud like patterns that hadn’t been there before. “Alright, then I’ll leave Kanamori and Haganezuka to you.” He said, brandishing the sword Kanamori had just had in his hands.

Yuko would be stopped by Gyokko’s tentacles, holding out a pot that seemed to summon them from within. The tentacles would never reach Yuko, Muichiro shooting forward and slicing them to pieces before they could touch her as he advanced on the demon to aim an attack at his neck.

She was very grateful for Muichiro right now, an Upper Moon on her own would surely mean her death. She reached Haganezuka and looked over the wounds. He would lose the use of his eye, but that seemed to be the only immense damage done to him.
"Haganezuka-san, we must leave, please come with me. It isn't safe."

Haganezuka seemed like he didn’t even hear Yuko, muttering under his breath as he continued to sharpen the blade in his hand. Kanamori had moved to Yuko’s side, also attempting to get the sword smith to abandon the blade and run.

She was tempted to just grab the man and haul him away, but he looked rooted to his spot. Yuko looked back to see how Muichiro was doing, worried for the young hashira.

Muichiro was still going after the demon, who now has a cut on his throat that was bleeding heavily, but he was still jumping from pot to pot. The only good news so far was that they had moved away from Haganezuka and into the forest.

"Haganezuka-san, please." She grabbed his shoulders and tugged, but it was like trying to move a heavy boulder. She grunted and sighed, "We have to go...!"
