“Well, that’s something I can’t answer you on. I’m no good with flesh bodies- something like that would need to be done by Lady Kocho.” She scratched her head. “But I can tell you that once you’re healed up, your leg will be waiting for you.”
 
Botan nodded firmly. “I can start right away! I’ll need to take measurements before to know how big the leg should be, and once you’ve healed up, I’ll fit it so it’s the right size!”
 
Botan nodded, moving to get some supplies off her shelf. “Yes, now works- unless you need to come back another time?”
 
“Perfect! Sit there and roll up your clothes!” She said, moving to get a paper sheet and a marking pencil.
 
Botan moved over to Yuko and carefully measured her leg, making sure not to jostle it or bump it as she took the measurements.
 
Botan had seen many scars over the years, both from demons and from everyday accidents, it pained her to see such a wound on her friend though. Once done, she marked down all her measurements on the paper. “I’ll start right away on the leg, there will be lots of work to be done to make it move like a real limb, but I should have it fully ready to go by the time you’ve healed up!”
 
“It’s really no problem! So long as I can help the slayers, I’m happy to make anything!” She said.
 
“Oh please, you don’t have to thank me, you guys are the ones doing the real work here.” Botan waved her hand.
 
She laughed softly and rose carefully to her feet, "I'll let you get back to your work. Thank you again, for the third time this morning."
 
Botan was more than happy to help, she was rather excited actually. She had no reason to start such a project, but now that Yuko was requesting it, she had a reason.
 
Yuko left her to her work, going about her day spending time with Mitsuri and the others. Sje ran into Genya sometimes, and each time he would run away in a flury.
 
It was strange watching such a large person run away from someone like Yuko, almost like she terrified him, but she never got the chance to ask why he was doing so- maybe he knew about her relationship with Sanemi?
 
Oh, how embarrassing. She didn't think Mitsuri would know about Genya, as he was new to the corps and Sanemi didn't really talk to anyone else. She just spent her time now enjoying the time off.
 
It seemed like they were only at the village for a very short time before Mitsuri said that it was time for them to leave, her swords maintenance completed.
 
Yuko slid a note under Botan's door to inform her that she was leaving, and to send a crow when she had any updates. She didn't like disrupting Botan while she worked, so she felt this would suffice.
