Kaguya watched the demon fall dead and wanted to scream, having been so close to escaping. She turned to run, not knowing which direction she was heading, nor where Hakaku was hiding.
Why couldn’t she have been luckier, have been born with a stronger body, been born normal looking, been not born at all? “Keep his name out of your mouth!” She spat, struggling hard against him, swinging her leg to kick him in the groin.
Not only did demons know him, the feared him and called him their lord. It was obvious she was lying, she knew so much more and wouldn’t give it up willingly. Maybe Master Ubuyashiki would be able to get her to talk, if not, give him permission to force her too.
She felt the air be forced from her lungs and she let out a strangled cry, eyes watering and seeing spots before she rolled to her side and vomited. She coughed and wheezed, curling up into a ball reflexively.
He made pretty quick pace, tired of wasting time and even more tired with all the time lost. He needed to get to the estate and he needed to get there days ago.
Kaguya obeyed, sitting where he put her down on the ground, arms bound behind her back now rather than the front, a gag in her mouth and a blindfold over her eyes as they approached the manor. He didn’t want her to be able to learn the location of the manor, even though he didn’t plan on letting her free at this point.
Kaguya went rigid when she heard him draw his blade, holding her breath when he grabbed her by the hair. She made a quiet noise, not knowing why he was cutting her hair off.
She felt her already sunburned skin flush in shame, whose fault was it that she wasn’t able to bathe in days? She turned her head away, even though she couldn’t see him, feeling great shame.
