Aaron was just looking over for a moment in time before was scoffing and stating that he had met a security system that had given him trouble. Which was definitely saying something. After that he was getting up to leave as well. As he was headed home to make sure that the job was getting done, Kailee was quietly making her way through the house to try and find a way out; although she hadn't found one. Not that wasn't locked with a damn padlock which would require a key.
 
Crystal waited in her office and hoped that he could do what she needed to get him out of there. if he was as good as he said then he should be able to do what she had asked of him.
 
The pictures were moved to the warehouse and soon enough somebody was racing into her office stating that they had just gotten a tip about where the missing paintings were. Some warehouse on the other side of town.
 
Crystal looked at the officer "gather the group lets move out now" Crystal stood and gathered everything she needed and then looked at her captain who said she would drive her but they had one stop to make to help with her shoulder
 
This had the man giving a nod and soon enough he was heading out so that he could gather the people together. It wasn't long before Crystal's phone would be ringing with a call from somebody. Kailee it would seem. She had gotten the number from her brother through a text message and had managed to find her phone. Managed to find her phone and call Crystal yet it wouldn't be long before the woman would hear a male's voice in the background stating, "Oh so this is where you had been hiding" followed by a scream from Kailee before not seeming to hear anything at all.
 
Crystals boss had heard everything and after a sharp turn they headed to the house and together the two females broke in and went looking for the two hoping that they could get to her in time. with the rest of the team and the wearhouse the paintings would be safe they just had to save the girl
 
They would heard a noise downstairs from the basement, the sound of the man dropping something on the ground. Then there was a slight laughter from him. "Oh.... This is.... So wonderful..... I finally get to kill the only living person who knows my face....." they would be able to hear him speaking and if they went downstairs they would see him with his back to them and the female laying on the cement ground, unconscious. They would be able to see that she was injured when they got closer, blood from a wound on her head from when she had gotten bit from behind; the iron pipe that had been used laying on the ground near their feet.
 
Crystal looked at her captain and together they prdered him to freeze and to put his hands up. before they had gone in they had called it in so more cops were coming but until then they were on their own. Crystal was not worried about them killing him as they werent going to kill him but he would end up with some bullet holes when they were done if he didn't comply
 
This had Corbin turning around slowly although there was a faint grin on his lips as he was parting his shirt, revealing the bomb that was strapped to him. And it looked like they only had about ten more minutes to disarm it. And they knew that shooting him would be a bad idea, as they didn't know where the trigger was, or what could trigger it. "Just let me kill the girl first.... Then I'll come quietly..." He was speaking in a rather creepy voice, now kneeling down next to Kailee with a knife being held at her throat.
 
Crystal shook her head "sorry no can do I am not letting you kill another innocent" Crystal held her gun at him while he eyes moved over every inch of the bomb that she could see and in a move that would freak them all out she shot on of the wires which caused the time to stop counting and the whole electrical system to stop working "
 
Well nobody had seen her doing that but it definitely had Corbin startled, and in the process he had ended up cutting Kailee on the neck a bit. Nothing deep that would cause her to bleed out or anything, but it had still happened regardless.
 
Crystal moved till the barrel of her gun pressed against his head "now your going to be real good while my captain cuffs you and if you try to give us trouble I will be happy to add a bullet hole or two to your body"
 
Corbin was just glaring at her although it wasn't long before he didn't have much of a choice not with the arrival of more officers, and some paramedics as well.
 
once he was cuffed he was read his rights and then Crystal moved to the girls side and checked on her to make sure she was just knocked out and that he hadn't actually managed to kill her with the blow
 
When Crystal was checking Kailee over she would find that there was in fact a pulse and she was breathing, although it was rather faint at that point in time. But she was still alive that is what mattered. Already the paramedics were coming over with a stretcher so that they could get her loaded up and carried up the stairs to where a gurney was waiting.
 
Crystal walked with her captain and they talked as she was curious as to how she had known the girl. Crystal told her the truth that she had met them while working the case and they had mentioned that their families paitings were missing and had been since their murders
 
As they were heading out they would be receiving a call from an officer who had just arrived at the warehouse and was confirming that all of the paintings were in fact there. Well the ones that had gone missing. "And it seems that this place is owned by a Corbin Richardson."
 
both females smiled and it would just add another nail to his coffin as well. Crystal told her boss she would ride with her to the hospital as a protective detail
 
The paramedics were getting her upstairs and loaded onto the gurney. Naturally questions were being asked to the other two woman, wanting to know if they had witnessed what had happened. Trying to get all the information that they could at the time. Once in the ambulance the cut on her neck was being cleaned and bandaged up before they were tending to the head wound, to get that bleeding to slow.
 
Crystal had told them that they hadn't seen what happened but she did explain the call which had them heading to the house as she had given them the address before he had found her.
 
This had the paramedics giving a nod of their head and it wasn't long before Crystal's phone was going off, a message from an unknown number once again. Aaron wanting to know what was going on.
 
Crystal sent a single text of 'ER' before she closed her phone and focused on making sure that they had what information she had while also keeping her safe as well
 
At some point during the drive to the hospital it did seem like Kailee had ended up waking up although it wasn't long at all. But it was enough to reassure the doctors that she was in fact alright. She did have a mask on over her mouth and nose at the time but that was pretty much protocol, especially since she was unconscious.
 
Crystal watched over her until her brother could get there and if someone tried to harm her they would find themselves face to muzzle with her gun
 
Soon enough they were arriving at the hospital and getting her into a room. Instantly they seemed to be jumping to checking vitals and a doctor was questioning Crystal on if she knew anything about her. Turned out that she didn't have a wallet on her at the time, it was still in her car which was a block away from the house, so they didn't know her name at all.
