Welcome to *Surf & Sorcery*, an open-ended roleplay focusing on a fantastical island paradise. We're mostly here for some sexy atmosphere, smutty action, and horny drama, but there's room for all kinds of stories.
This roleplay is inspired by a suggestion from @SilverPrincess in this thread here.

Our setting is the luscious Opal Island, a tropical jewel of unparalleled beauty, freedom, and wonder. All manner of creatures gather here for some R&R.
This is pretty much a "yes, and" roleplay, so feel free to add anything, just as long as it doesn't step on anyone else's toes. Have fun, and make sure everyone else is having fun too!



Opal Island

Druidic enchantments ensure perfect weather on the beaches, light cloud cover to prevent too much direct sunlight, and an absence of biting bugs.
The island is largely anarchic, but an order of clerics dedicated to deities of joy and pleasure work to maintain peace on the island, protect it from invasion, settle disputes, and generally take care of the place.
The island's interior is a bit less hospitable, housing dense, mysterious jungles for those who want some dangerous adventure mixed with their recreational indulgences.

There are few rules on the island, though communities can set their own expectations and most people follow out of respect (and for those who don't, well, most places have private security). The entire island is clothing-optional in public spaces. Certain clubs may enforce their own dress codes, and a few areas are designated as nude-only.
It's mostly considered impolite to just start fucking in the streets, but there several communities and beaches where public sex is encouraged.

Opal Island Dragon of Pleasure Spa

Owned by Skylar Fertar since she was 16 years old, after she won it in a bet with the orginal owner. Dragon of Pleasures is a 3 story high building with an underground floor. The DOP has benefited greatly under Skylar leadership and her fellow staff member all joined Skylar as time went on.

The ground floor is well known to have the largest collection of spa treatments and body wellness classes are also taught, the male and female spa are separated but there is a spa in the middle for both gender, though the one rule is no funny business in the public spa.
However, those who have membership card get access to private spa where they can do what they want and they are allowed one other person with them.

The first floor houses the massage parlour as well as some classrooms for couples to learn about relationships and how to stay relaxed. Once again, Members get special class where they can learn about pleasure, fetishism, how to do sex right and many other things.
The second floor is off limits to all, as its the mangers area as well as where the staff can sleep, eat and plan for each day.

The basement floor is an exclusive floor, only accessible to Golden Members, it's known as the pleasure zone, this is where patron can basically engage in whatever sexual activities they want, there a strip club, porn video store, strip games and special areas where you can engage in whatever fetish you want, though anything vore, gore or questionable is not allowed.

Occasionally, Skylar will have a free weekend where the Pleasure Zone is open to the public, though this only happen every 2 to 3 months. Membership can start from 200 to 600 per month and the gold is about a 1000 a year but with all its extra benefits, it's pricey for a good reason.
 
Perhaps the Clerics have a Paladin who heads up the more resilient, battle-ready section of the guard force? Cause the Cleric powers can only go so far in some cases. And as someone who is basically responsible for the entire island's safety, maybe he gets free or discounted membership to the Pleasure Zone?

Funny you say that, I actually had plans to offer Gold Membership to selective few people who came to this rp, though I would be quite strict. Depending on how many people join, there are 5 Golden Membership that people can ask for, however if you have multiple characters, only one will get the pass.

Also Skylar is extremely powerful, not as powerful as Spike bit she's more powerful then the average dragon, and often has no issue dealing with problematic people. Cynder is in a leauge of her own and deal with spa security herself and its super rare anyone ever gets past her.
 
Well yes but my guy's job would mainly be to help repel invasion forces, which is also the Clerics' job as far as I can tell, but obviously they wouldn't be able to, for example, defend the beaches of Normandy, were the roles in WWII reversed.
 
The clerics mostly keep the peace and arbitrate agreements. They're sort of like the catholic church in that they have worldwide political connections, which gives them a measure of respect.

If you want to develop them, be my guest.

The island though would have several districts/villages that basically self govern with their own rules.
The whole island is clothing optional, but some might disallow public sex.

I figure too there are surrounding allied islands that have a standing navy too.

Of course!

But my guy will be prepared for both, just in that tiny event that something gets past all the stuff protecting the island. But he'll spend most of his time making love and adventuring into the island's interior.
