Lily kissed him again her own womanly needs drove her to. but once again sense and reason set in and she pulled her mouth away. her body still pressed tightly to him. her breast pressed against his chest so tightly he could probably feel her nipples through the think material. "please stop....this isn't right. i was told people only do this sort of thing when they are in love not to just fill some need"
 
** Julius respectfully released the girl and stepped back. "I am so sorry about this. Shame on me! I am helped by you and I end up abusing your trust!"
** Julius kneels and asks: "Please forgive me, mylady!"
 
Lily smiled down at him "of course i forgive you. I mean you are only human and you needs...i am just not the one to fill them." It was like she 100 percent understood his needs but in truth she didn't really understand."And i am sorry as well if i miss lead you with kissing you. i don't know what came over me" as Lily spoke she played with a ribbon tied around her right wrist.
 
** Julius didnt knwo how to react. He went back to the room and layed on the bed thinking about what he had done. He just thought about the girls in his family, who lived close to the German border in Gaul... his villa had been destroyed and everyone was dead...the girls, possibly after been raped by the Barbarians. Julius breathed deeply and closed his eyes to forget what he had done.
 
Lily wrinkled her forehead when he left the room. Did she make him angrier?She sighed softly. When to the door and got her shall before wrapping it around her shoulders. she would leave him be for a little maybe that would help. She went outside to her garden
 
** after some time, Julius falls asleep. He had lost a lot of blood and he was not yet feeling as strong as he used to. Before sleeping, he said he would never offend that kind Lily...
 
Lily walked slowly out into the yard when she kept a very large garden with vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. she sat down in the dirt pulling weeds and watering the plates so they would not die
 
** sleeps deeply...after a couple of hours, he screams in pain as if something had hurt him.... then, he raises his head and looks around for some familiar face...
 
Lily heard the scream from out in her garden and leaps to her feet rushing into her home and into the bedroom. She didn't know what could be the matter so she was prepared for anything "what, what happen?"
 
** as Lilly entered the room, she saw a blank face in Julius`face. He had had a bad nightmare, one that reminded him of the fate of his family. He prefered not to talk about that.
"I am felling well, Lily. I think it was just a bad nightmare, but I cant remember it", he lied to Lily. "I think you should go back to your tasks..." after some seconds he added. "No, dont go. It is getting darker. Something can happen to you!"
 
Lily knew he was lying but didn't push the issue for she to had things she hid from the world. As she went to leave him to rest she was stop by his concern for her. "alright i will not go back outside" she said with a little smile. She wiped her dirty hands on her dress and then went over to him "is there something i can get you?"
 
** Julius nodded as she refused to go outside. When she offered something to do, Julius questioned: "What about the supper? Are we going to have some meat? If it pleases you, I can go hunting a rabbit."
 
"you don't have to hunt, besides like you said it is getting dark." she gave him a little wink "I have some stew already made, do you like stew." Lily bite her lip she was not sure of the things he liked.
 
** Julius could go to the forest since he was a warrior, but not Lily. Anyway, he decided not to disagree with the kind angelic girl. Julius didnt appreciate stew but he pretended he did: "Of course I do!"
** Julius was afraid of disappointing her again, so that he would eat anything she would offer him. He followed her to the kitchen again while the sun was coming down.
 
Lily bit her lip once again she could tell by the look in his eyes that he did not care for stew. as they walked out into the kitchen she turned him "umm let me get a fire going in the fire place and then i will make you something else, i know you don't like stew so you don't have pretend" She walked over to the living room area and bent down in front of the fire place placing log after log inside of it
 
** Julius was surprised with the girl's ability of guessing his thoughts. That was not the first time, he remembered. He watches Lily to place the logs to prepare something else. He was feeling umconfortable with the fact he was not able to help her.
** At the same, Julius could not take his eyes off her goergeous body.
 
Lily pretended to get the fire going the traditional way, but she really did use her magic to start it, she did not want to fight with the flame to get it going. she then stood and looked at him "alright what would you like to eat?"
 
** Julius had noticed something strange but he didnt give too much attention to that. "Anything that you want to serve me! I am not a man of many requests." In reality, Julius was a Patrician living close to Bizantium - he had many servants and was very rich.
 
"well i do not want to risk making something else that you do not like, so please just tell me what you would like to eat" Lily looked at him for a long moment waiting for answer
 
"I appreciate pheasants", Julius answers.
** After looking at the girl's legs, he questions: "Have you ever lived here? Never been to other regions?"
** Julius found the girl's manners unusually educated as he got to know her better and better. Her behaviour does not fit the forest scenario, at least from his narrow perspective.
 
"well i had planned pheasant for tomorrow nights meal, so that will make tonight's meal easier" she went out side for just a moment when she came back she was caring a pheasant almost like magic. as she began to clean the bird she answered his question "i lived in a town was i was very young, i don't even remember the name. but my parents and i moved here" she stared off into space a moment "because it was safer here"
 
"It is safer as long as no one knows you live here", Julius answered with suspicious. He didnt understand why such a girl would enjoy living in the dark forest.
"When I was young, I used o live in the countryside, in a rural property. We had some contact with nature but we were not isolated from everything and everyone. Do you enjoy your life? Why to be here...alone...away from those who love you...or at least could love you...", Julius said those words without thinking in a row...Swiftly, he regretted having said them...
 
"i don't think i am risk of anyone finding me out here, you are the first soul i have seen in about 8 years." she stopped cleaning the pheasant "as for your other questions" lily paused once again she tried to think of the best way to answer him with out giving her secret away "i guess i do enjoy my life since i have known no others, my family is dead so there is no one left to love, and who would or could love me"
 
** There was something misterious and fascinating in the air, at least for Julius. If for Lily, Julius was just a rare visitor - Julius was not sure about that -, for Julius, Lily was growing interesting and seductive. Even her apparent naïveness was a bit confusing for Julius. Although he had grown up in sophisticated circles in the Roman Empire, the way Lily behave was different. She was nearly hypnotising Julius, an indepedent observer would say.
 
When he did not speak Lily looked back down at the bird she was cleaning. she quickly finished and placed on the spit to roast over the fire. "it will be a little longer till diner, help yourself to bread or cheese, or anything else i may have in the kitchen"
