[Cantarella]

This will be a place where I track my progress, put picture and gif prompts that may eventually go in my RT as inspiration, put song and poetry inspiration, and explain any absences. Hell, might even rant here, who tf knows.

Current status:
It is 2 AM. I am healthy, sane, and wide awake. No internet outages or inclement weather. It's a little warm, actually, but snow is expected on Thursday. How exciting!

Status:

No posts written yet now that I'm up, and I may not get any of them done tonight, as I have Pathfinder this evening, as I do every Saturday. Will try, though, as I got one last night and one not too long ago, plus one I owe from yesterday, and I have one thread post to do at my leisure. The dark, rainy weather has rendered me torporous.

Also, I'd like to take this time to talk about what I mean by "dropped projects". To elaborate: when I say it's dropped, I assume it's dead in the water, that I've been ghosted, or it never got off the ground. I make this decision based off a couple factors, as listed:

1. My partner has not replied for a week or more with no follow-up in OOC.
2. They have not responded in a few days, no OOC chatter, and have bumped their thread in the meantime
3. I posted a starter, and have not gotten a follow-up in a week or more

I do not, however, consider a project dropped when my partner has simply not been online. This goes for partners who hide their online status and post history as well, as I have no way to determine activity. That does not consist of a ghosting- I figure they've just been busy.

Also, of very, very important note:

When I say I have dropped an RP, that does not mean you can't approach me at a later time to revive it!

Above all, I will never expect you to abandon your real-life responsibilities and relationships for me or our story. I pride myself on being open-minded and understanding. Life comes first, a silly, smutty story with some strange woman behind a computer screen comes last. So what if you've left me hanging before- I don't typically take it as a personal insult, and enjoy writing far too much to let a disappearance sour me on the opportunity for a fun new story to write.

So I suppose that'll be it for today, unless I come back to this later to add in my post tracker, should I make any this afternoon before game time.

Status:

Rough day. Aggravated my chronic condition with poor sleep and too much caffeine and paying for it now. Plus the dissolution of a mutually beneficial partnership, one in which both of us are upset at the loss despite hopefully being able to remain friends. Canta is the big sad tonight and for that reason, very few posts done today. I apologize to everyone who's been waiting on me- I'm just not feeling it right now. Probably going to head to bed earlier tonight, or at least attempt to. Tonight's lineup and the agenda for later this afternoon to follow.

Tonight's song- may possibly find some way to work it into Dulce Puella Malum Est, if I can manage it. Does not fit the time period or the setting very much, but it's too beautiful not to make the attempt, and the character opposite of mine is Gaelic. Plus, it's relaxing and I need that right now.

Status:

Still not feeling great. Slept for a few hours overnight, but nowhere near enough to offset feeling icky. Mom and sister and the baby came over for about an hour- that was nice, as I haven't seen the baby since she came home from the hospital. The wee mite smiled at me when I told her she looks like a drunk old man now instead of a wrinkly, red little thing. Warmed my heart. Already, that little girl has my heart wrapped around her tiny fingers.
Was up for a couple hours and then went back to sleep around noon. Woke up to... chaos, really. To hear that Capitol Hill had been stormed by rioters. That a woman had been shot and killed. Ever since awakening, I have been on a voice chat with my off-site friends, one of whom is streaming CNN in real-time.
As such, only got one post done, and I may not get any further out this evening. I don't feel particularly guilty about it, as I only received two other posts while I was asleep. Everyone appears to be slowing down. Probably a return to work after the holidays, but who knows for sure- BMR in general has been pretty quiet as of late.

No music today. I think America deserves a moment of silence.
