It made sense, but Briar knew she would miss the luxury that was the internet and other small creature comforts that they had grown up with. It was odd that they seemed so set in their ways. Perhaps the advancements of humanity wouldn't benefit them in a war with the Titans? Surely they were not the first, nor the last to question such. Was it even their place to question such things? Unlikely.
Silly, we can both practice it. I still think you did a good job, for what it is worth. Her hand found his for a moment and she teased him mentally, unable to help it. Remember, horses can smell fear! Was she being a bit of a buttface? Yes. "Pegasi, I think." A form seemed to appear from nothingness, a younger boy, perhaps sixteen with jet black hair and shocking blue eyes. Pushing his glasses up, he nodded. Indeed. The plural form of Pegasus is Pegasi. The word Pegasus comes from the Greek origin word PΔgasos. Briar had watched this boy appear, so she knew him for what he was. Thank you. What's your name? At her question he looked shocked and vanished. Ghosts are a bit odd... This was whispered across her link to Alexander.
When he pointed out they needed to return their gear Briar honest to goodness pouted. She had been ready to run off, but sighed and nodded walking back with him to return their gear. Blushing, Briar struggled to unstring her bow, the blush deepening under Eldora's gaze. It seemed puzzling she'd strung it, but could reverse the task. How did one explain a ghost had strung it? She looked to the racks and frowned. "Odd.. You're right"
When Eldora told the pair that it was her responsibility, Briar was more than happy to be off. Her hand found Alexander's and she tugged him away as she waved to Eldora "Thanks for the lesson!" Come on, I snuck a sugar cube for you. Feed it to your Pegasus and I bet they will love you. Briar produced the sugar cube from her pocket and bumped her hip into his. More or less alone, they could talk normally. "It's really not going to be that bad, I know horses scare you, but are you not excited to fly?" Surely that appealed to him? Her fingers laced with his, the touch meant to comfort... but also it made her heart skip a beat.
