My Girlfriend Cosplays Supergirl (w/KiraMusani)

Brinker was aghast. "One time? This wasn't a weekly or monthly tradition? Movies and watching sports would count. Yes. Of course. Was there a regular schedule of this?" She was typing the information in, but it was still mind boggling. She took a quick look at the time and muttered under her breath... This would be her last question of this session, it was almost eight.

Noel held her arms up defensively.
"No, No I misspoke, we would watch some sports once a week, and a move once a month. We would always vote for what we watched so my brothers and father basically always decided. They outnumbered me anyway, and my mother just agreed with my father" she replied.

Brinker sighed with relief but still shook her head. "So, we're going to end with a little homework. I'd like you to take notes of what you see on how others interact with each other. Everything you can observe. You're kind of a Doc Watson to my Sherlock." A friendly smile. "I'm going to try to see you once a week, preferably before school as that will be the best time for me, as with my position at the precinct, I can't get away in the afternoon until late. Which day would you prefer?"

Noel nodded.
"I will do my best, and umm, I guess maybe Wednesday or Friday? Middle of the week or end of it I suppose" she asked.
"Oh and umm, are you going to give me like a notepad or should I get one or?" she added.

Brinker was finishing her typing regarding the session when it seemed Noel put the two days preferred back on her. "Well, just let me know ahead of time if a Friday morning won't work for you. I would like to say that we had a good first session, but I'm afraid I'm left with a lot of unanswered questions. I'm only allowed an hour, however, per client." As she put the laptop away, she passed over a three by five notepad. "Afraid you'll have to supply your own ink pen. Next Friday at seven a.m." The clock chimed eight and Kara and Penny could be heard coming in. The smell of chocolate chip pancakes and scrambled eggs could be smelled wafting towards the kitchen. "Smells like Kara has good taste!"

Noel took the pad and nodded, her head turning to the door as she heard them.
"Heh, yeah, good taste and timing it would seem" Noel nodded putting the pad of paper in her pocket for now.
"I'll ask the Zorel's for a pen if I can't find one among my things." She told her as she stood up and prepared to welcome Kara home.

Penny had taken her hat off as Brinker exited the kitchen. Kara excused herself and entered the doorway with two go containers, a smaller one stop a large one. "Hiya Doc. Ready to go to the precinct and do some more counseling?" Penny teased

Brinker scoffed, but with a smile as they headed back out the door. "I just hope you enjoyed your breakfast, Officer Brown... You've got a long day of brass kissing!"

Meanwhile, Kara set the containers down. "Short stack was my idea." She opened the small box revealing a half a sandwich, which had been cut from a full one, of a scrambled egg, sausage and cheese sandwich on whole wheat toast. "Officer Penny's eyes were bigger than her stomach because this came with hash browns. A lot of them. So... She didn't touch this half, told me to let you decide if you wanted it too." She then smiled. "I had a short stack with blueberries. I'm stuffed."

Noel was excited to see Kara return, though didn't forget about Brinker, waving to her as she and Penny left.
"Bye, thank you!" She called out.

Once they were gone Noel happily joined Kara at the table, looking down at the food that Kara brought back.
"This looks great, thank you Kara, and I'll have to tell Penny thanks as well." She smiled as she started to eat.
"So while I eat why don't we talk about what we are going to do for the rest of the day?" She asked with a smile.

The short stack consisted of three nine inch chocolate chip pancakes, and since it was to go, had three single serve maple syrup cups sealed. The butter had long since melted and soaked into each pancake. She just smiled and nodded, glad to have picked off the menu for Noel correctly. At the mention of the day's plans again, she blushed softly. "Oh, that's right..." She popped up and out the kitchen and could be heard conversing with her mom for a few minutes. Soon enough, she was back in. "So... Yes mom will be our ride, but... One. It's a date. Two. It's the Space Needle, and we see either a movie at the retro theatre or the play at the playhouse. And three. I pay for dinner out." She looked sheepish for a minute before saying, "So I said, that whether it was a date or not was our choice and we had thought this could be. She was like, then what's the problem, Kara? Doesn't that meet my first criteria? I decided I better just come back in here and tell you, and let you decide if we let mom be the ride."

Noel started to happily enjoy her food, adding just a little syrup to the pancakes. She watched as Kara walked out of the kitchen, leaning in her chair to watch her turn the corner for just a moment long, then returned to her regular seating position with a blush, not sure why she tried to keep her eyes on Kara for so long. When she returned Noel offered a big smile as she swallowed the food in her mouth and took a drink. As Kara confirmed it was a date, Noel couldn't help but smile again with her patent blush. Though she waited for Kara to finish before she replied.
"Oh umm well, I definitely want this to be our first official date, and I don't mind her being our ride, but umm, would it be just us during the dating part or all three of us?" she asked with a look of concern.

Kara shook her head. "She's sort of there. She's basically the ride until dinner. It'll probably be separate tables, but she's gotta eat, too. So after the Space Needle, are we going to the retro theatre, which, if memory serves plays old movies and is near there; or do we go to the playhouse for the play? It's usually something by or related to, Shakespeare.

"Oh umm okay, I mean I can't drive and assuming you can't either our hands are kind of tied I suppose, though I would have really liked it being just us" She admitted with a blush as she put her knife and fork down.
"We would at least sit alone in the theater, right? oh and yeah I think a movie would be better, it kind of feels more like a classic first date than the play." She replied blushing still.

Pat had appeared in the kitchen doorway and overheard the question. "She would have only needed the keys if she had stuck with Driver's Ed last year. As soon as they were on the streets more, she panicked and quit.

"There's too many idiots out there!!" Kara balked. "I had to be defensive constantly. I couldn't actually enjoy just driving once! Bad enough a pedestrian takes her life in her hands anytime she's out for a walk! It's worse behind the wheel!" Turning to Noel and looking at her, Noel could see real fear in her eyes. "You don't WANT to learn to drive."

Pat sighed. "And that puts you in the position you're in, Kara. Depending on others. Or the bus. Or a bicycle. Or your own two feet." She smiled at Noel. "I'm just the chauffeur until dinner, and I'll be at a separate table footing my own bill during it. Your date is safe from 'mom'. Okay?"

Noel got a little nervous as Kara was talking about the dangers of driving and the fear of hitting people or getting hit, which reminded her of her recent accident, causing her to close off for a moment as Kara went off on her rant, the calming voice of Pat managed to bring her back before a break thought.

"Oh! I umm, I didn't mean, I uhh, I mean I don't want to exclude you Pat, it's just I umm, I mean we errr... uhh.." Noel was having trouble organizing her thoughts and got all flustered, fiddling with her fingers in front of herself.

"It's ok." Pat said, "Finish your pancakes and if you're not going to eat the half a breakfast sandwich, stick it in the fridge for Lenard." She looked at Kara. "Can I have a word with you?"

Kara had a feeling what it was about. "Sorry, Noel... I didn't mean or even want to scare you..."

"NOW, Kara."

Kara sighed and removed herself from the kitchen, where her mom scolded her quietly. Apologizing this time wasn't going to get her out of the lecture.

Noel nodded and looked at Kara as she apologized, but before Noel could respond she left the room.

As kara left the room Noel took the time to pack up the sandwich and put it in the fridge as she cleaned up all the other packaging and utensils, cleaning them in the sink and throwing them away where needed for recycling or garbage.

She then would wait for Kara to return. When she did Noel would go up to her and hug her.
“I know you would never mean to scare or hurt me. I love you Kara”

Kara hugged back, mostly because getting lectured (although quietly in another room), in front of the love interest, was embarrassing. "I love you, too, Noel, but still... I need to watch my mouth at times. It wasn't fair to you since that was exactly why you were in the hospital." She shook her head, deciding the subject was dropped. "So, maybe we should each grab a windbreaker just in case. I don't remember the Space Needle being open air, but better safe than sorry." She would lead Noel back upstairs.

Noel would nod, understanding how Kara would want to improve her restraint.
“Right”
Noel didn't want to push or keep going back to the subject so she was happy to drop it.

“Heh, yeah, we would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.” She smiled and took her hand and following her back up the stairs.

“Okay so maybe we can tie them around our waists until we need them” she suggested as they got to the top of the stairs.

Kara smiled. "Tie them.... Love it!" She went to get her pink windbreaker that had on the back an old Chevy ad with one word in red. The Heartbeat of America. She put it on so Noel could see.

Her mom shook her head with a mile long grin. "You still have that old thing?"

Kara hugged her mom. "It may be a hand me down from you, but it's still my favorite windbreaker."

Pat chuckled and checked to see if both were ready, and informed Kara that since it was their date (Kara's and Noel's) she was regulated to the backseat so the two could sit together.

Noel went to get her windbreaker and have it tied as they met back up.
“Oh it's cute!” she smiled, though wasn't sure if she thought it was a cute jacket or just cute on Kara. Noel’s windbreaker seemed to just be a plain black one with a swish on it.

She followed Kara down, smiling as she hugged her mother, happy that the past lecture wasn't taken too badly.
“Oh that will be fun, I'll love to have you back there with me” Noel smiled.

Pat pointed up as she led the two to the car and Kara removed the windbreaker to tie arms around her waist. "Rules are, PDA is allowed in the car as long as it isn't overboard and distracting to the driver."

Kara knew Pat was being both serious and cheeky at the same time and wore a smirk as she looked over to Noel, as she opened the back door for her. Once Noel was fully in, she'd shut it and went around to the other side to get in herself.

Noel couldn’t help but blush as Pat told them about her PDA rules. She didn’t know what sort of limit was on her PDA rules but decided she would just follow Kara’s lead.

Noel smiled and happily got into the car when Kara opened the door for her.
“Thanks love” she said gently before moving to open the door for Kara on the other side, from the inside.

Kara smiled, getting in and shutting the door behind her and giving a soft, short peck to Noel's lips. "Thanks, dear heart."

Pat pulled out only after both had buckled up, despite being in the backseat. Before they knew it, they'd be downtown with their destination looming in front of them, big as life.

Noel smiled brightly at the kiss.
“Thank you, love, also hehe dear heart?” she giggled, though seemed quite happy. Noel also took the middle seat beside Kara so they could be closer. Reaching over to hold her hand.

As they drove Noel's phone kept going off, she would check it and then roll her eyes before typing something and putting it away.

As they arrived Noel looked up wide-eyed.
“Oh is that the like rotating place?”

Once they had parked and got out of the car Noel would look at Pat.
“Hey umm, Pat, people keep texting me to send them drugs, well one called titty drop. Kara said this phone used to belong to a porn star, we umm, researched the number I have now. So we think she used it to sell the drugs. Is there a way for me to block all numbers, not in my contact list?” she asked.

Pat looked over. "For starters, stop answering them, and then call Chief Quimby (NPC) Isn't that from him? Have him meet you two somewhere around here and get that taken care of today. And a titty drop isn't a drug... It's an, <ahem>, obscene action that Kara could do, but better not or her ass is grass, and you don't have to worry about." With a sigh, she shook her head. "Be that as it may, one of you text me after your movie. Retro theatre is about two blocks that way." She pointed up the street. "Enjoy yourselves, but not too much, love you both." She then drove off to do her own in town things, leaving them practically at the foot of the tower.
