She was enchanted by how aloof he was, how rude he was sometimes. But he seemed to know when too much was too much, and was very sweet when his attitude seemed to upset her.
He smirked and finished pan searing them before plating everything up; a thick steak each with the best looking garlic herb butter on top, hastle back potatoes with chives and roasted brustle sprouts. He set her plate in front of her and poured her a fine bottle of pinot noir before sitting beside her with his own food.
He was glad being alive for so long gave him plenty of time to practice hos cooking. Seeing her enjoy it made him feel warm and...alive. He just ended up staring at her a lot and listening to her talk.
The more he drank, the better she looked. The more she drank, the better he looked. She was getting closer to him without even realizing it, eventually giggling and laying against him on the couch.
