Midvadir Dreams - (Tarrakhash x CasualVelociraptor)

Yusef smirked,"Oh, dang, and here I thought I was going to be able to tell you to dress in your traditional garb as a Sudavadirian women and have my way with your lovely breasts!" He leaned in and gave her a kiss, he was concerned with what it might mean if he had to go topless and the girls had to get very creative.

"I'm not sure how your men weren't tempted with you around.....and your Harem?", his smile faded, just a little and he sighed,"Well, assuming Sajida isn't being difficult about it." He pulled Kalisha to his chest, aware how that topic made her sad,"Her and I had a good conversation in wherever Chloe put us....she's going to come around, I won't let her get away, okay?"

“Oh, yeah...I’m...not concerned over much about my relationship with Sajida,” Kalisha said after laughing at his quip about her being topless and nuzzled her head against his chest.

“She’ll go along with this pretend harem to make sure we’re both safe and after that, well, we’ve both been doing our best to help her see what she will miss if she leaves and will continue to do so. At the end of the day, her path along her river will be hers alone to decide, and she cannot occupy a space in my heart right now, not while there’s a mission on. And yet...”

Kalisha finally allowed herself a moment of weakness to sigh, “...she does” before putting her disguise on.

The others swiftly arrived and all giggled as they agreed to help with Yusef’s transformation. Tomasi piped up in a small voice asking how he could help, and Kalisha snapped at him to go to the damn dam already, and the boy disappeared to town in order to do so.

Akari was stony and, while occasionally nodding and contributing when someone needed something, looked at the floor often, perhaps still embarrassed about what she’d done to Yusef, perhaps just focused on the mission above all else. Chloe helped out with Yusef’s makeover for a little bit, but then Kalisha surprised a very ecstatic Chloe with a new outfit of her own. Then Kalisha draped a face mask around her mouth. She followed up by telling her pale, freckled lover how sexy she was in it, kissing her flushed cheeks, and whispering in her ear how she wanted to slowly peel it off later; Chloe nearly fainted as a result.

That left Sajida to clinically, almost without saying anything, complete the entire process of dressing Yusef. Then she stripped naked in front of everyone, again without acknowledging any discomfort, in order to change into a battle costume of Surabamban make that she’d bought at the market, complete with sword and shield, to complete an illusion of herself as a hardened shieldmaiden. Akari, meanwhile, benefited from not having to change, as while her costume was tight, it still covered up most of her body.

Yusef smiled at Kalisha, a sad, small smile he knew that Sajida mattered to her, as much as Sajida mattered to him, but he nodded,"In the end she must make her own way along the river. I agree, I can't help but think that she will end up traveling in the same direction, despite her protests. I do think if she does she will have to make some penance to those she has hurt, Akari may never trust her fully...Chloe of course will love her regardless and I know she is in your heart."

While they waited for the others to return Yusef had been packing up and he found Akari's note, a soft smile curling his lips. She was so concerned that she wouldn't be loved that one. Did her taking the potion upset him? No, no, they would have children regardless, he knew that, and he understood her practicality. So it was when she came home all stony and silent he slid up next to her and planted a big kiss on her cheek his arm snaking around her waist as he whispered in her ear,"Love is not temporary, it is not so easily quelled my darling, you will be mine and you will bear my children. Never fear that you will lose my love."

He could only giggle as Chloe and Kalisha got distracted by each other, although that left him with a rather workmanlike Sajida to change him and so he sat and let her do what she had to. He remembered his words and didn't touch her unless he had to, and he certainly didn't seduce or attempt to touch her in a sexual manner, keeping his soft loving touches for the other girls when they allowed. Sajida had to make the next advance on him, that was clear.

Soon they were all dressed and Yusef smiled fluttering his eyelashes at Kalisha before saying in a rather terrible falsetto,"I don't think I'm the prettiest wife, but you love me anyway?"

“Awwww...of course we love you. Don’t ever doubt yourself, baby girl,” Chloe said as she kissed Yusef and poked his silly nose.

“Perhaps I will prove just how much I love my sweet little Midvadirian wife later,” Kalisha winked and squeezed one of his butt cheeks. “For now, however, we must push off. Harem, roll out!” she cried as she strode forward with a masculine air of invincibility.

“That’s right...let us not dally in this place longer than absolutely necessary,” Sajida replied after rolling her eyes at Kalisha’s silly catch phrase. “Omar is in the village of Tunam Abina. I’ve hired camels- real ones this time- and they’re getting grumpy. And for anyone who does not already know, you will not like the sounds camels make when they’re grumpy!”

Akari remained silent, not primarily out of fear (although she was still afraid of so many things, mainly what she had talked about when visiting the Thieves Guild branch in Kadugimir), but out of awe. She’d seen Yusef at his most vulnerable and knew that the young man didn’t have an ounce of fake swagger in him, so he really was confident. Maybe it was a little bit because of that stupid-ass prophecy, maybe he really just was an optimist. But whatever it was, his firm, calming, loving demeanor and words, along with the caress around her waist made Akari want to love him down right now on the airplane’s floor until his spend tried once again to make a baby a reality inside her.

All she did in response was to mirror his actions by caressing his hard stomach through his dress and nuzzling the right side of his neck with her face. She hoped that, as they got on the camels and her mask creased in a smile, that would convey more than anything she could ever say. She did have a few words for Kalisha, but they were whispered and so the others did not hear them, although Sajida frowned and Chloe sighed, both concerned about this, but without any concrete reason why.

It was only about an hour’s camel ride west to Tunam Abina, but the dunes seemed endless. Still, Kalisha confirmed for her heat stricken friends that they were not in fact hallucinating- that Tunam Abina, the home that hated her and that she loathed in return, was not a dehydration mirage.

Omar Haroun spotted the entourage well before they laid eyes upon him, with the power of his hand cranked binoculars.

Kamil,” he smiled to his commander and right hand man, “fetch our guests, won’t you?”

Kamil grunted, the same thing he’d done for seven years. He’d been best friends with Omar and Kalisha since childhood, and had been talkative in those innocent years.

But after witnessing Omar go through the warrior ritual, lifting the man who was supposed to put him through it by the dick and throwing him (earning an exemption from the Elders as a result), and watching the woman he’d quietly loved his whole life butchered and cast aside like an animal carcass, he’d remained silent to survive. He found that speaking softly and carrying a scattergun capable of bringing down a sabertooth sand whale with one slug to the head got him far. Despite his status as Omar’s lackey and rumors that they were lovers, Kamil had never once been told off to his face. And he’d managed to lead his forces to victory, or at least survival, against the brutal Iron Guard with his presence alone.

There was something- different about this Farid fellow and his entourage of wives, he mused to himself as his forces escorted them into town...

Yusef stuck his tongue out at Chloe, smirking and shaking his head at the red head before returning Kalisha's wink,"I'll hold you to that, young man, see if your stamina matches your words!" He groaned at the mention of real camels, he knew exactly what Sajida was talking about,"She's not lying, they are even more prickly than her." He gave her a friendly smile, to show he was teasing, but there was a part of him that knew he wasn't actually, the fourth of his wives was turning out to be a difficult one to handle.

He accepted Akari's embrace, his own hand sliding down to pat her slim rear and his eyes flashed with promise, he would lay with her again and again. With a nod he mounted the camel, less than thrilled at the idea of riding through the dunes for so long. He was a little nervous about what they were about to do, but he needed allies and fast if he was going to fight against the Iron Sultan and his men. Still it was with some trepidation he took the four woman he loved into danger, yet again.

Still he was ready to die for them, and their countries, so it was only right to expect the same of them. His eyes kept drifting to Sajida, over and over again, of all the woman she was the one he would have picked out of the four if offered only physical attibutes to pick from, and it sat wrong in his heart that she wasn't part of the group anymore, that she was choosing not to be but she had to make her own way in the river, as Kalisha had said, and when she made the choice there would be no one she could blame this time.

Kamil soon arrived, towering over all of them, and grunting in annoyance at Akari’s wry remark, “Thanks for the shade, big guy.” He, however, said nothing and led the entire party and their camels closer to the village. Children watched their parade, as many of them had never seen someone not like them in their lives, and they marveled at their equally exotic fineries.

“Welcome to my home, Lord Farid. And may I say, you have excellent taste in women,” Omar purred as he looked at Sajida, whose beauty had only been described by the scout sent to meet with her in the market. Now he knew the scout hadn’t been lying. “Perhaps a night getting to know each of them would help our rapport?”

“Focus. We are strictly here on business,” Kalisha snapped as Chloe blushed, Sajida raised her shield and Akari glowered. Kalisha wasn’t looking at Yusef, but saw one of the men pat Yusef’s bottom and threw him across the room with her newly enhanced arm.

That caused Omar’s men to raise their swords, but one grunt from Kamil made them lower them.

“Apologies. Let us continue,” Omar nodded as they got into the Council chambers where the Elders slumbered. “Sajida boasted of your great power.”

“I am Lord Farid of the Condemned Quarter, and I caught Sultan Yusef of Midvadir fleeing a coup against him by the so-called Iron Sultan.” Omar growled at that, as the Iron Commander’s forces had nearly stamped out the rebellion that Hanuku could not. “It is time for my army to join with yours, for I have brought the Thieves Guild of Sudavadir to bear and they will tip the scales.” Suddenly, an army of thieves in similar garb (as Akari appeared from the shadows, having brought them inside) materialized and surrounded everyone, making the soldiers and Elders fearful. “If we win this war, and we will, then Yusef will be our puppet and Sudavadir will be free at last.”

Akari looked at Yusef with a sad gaze, as she remembered what she’d had to barter to get the Thieves Guild to forgive her for killing one of their own. “And I am luring the Iron Guard into a trap by the dam as we speak,” “Farid” continued. “All you need do is help me spring it and we will claim a great victory. Are you with me?”

“LIIIIIIIES!” one of the Elders boomed with a great voice as Kalisha’s disguise was turned to atoms, rendering her nude. “One of those we banished has had the gall to appear before you. She did not die when commanded, and now her sentence must be carried out. Destroy her!”

“People of Tunam!” Kalisha yelled with a earth shaking voice of her own as she raised her massive syringe and stabbed the old man full of a poison that desiccated his body in seconds and lightning crackled in her hand. “Your daughter has returned! I bring the destruction of the old ways! The ways that have brought us backwards thinking, fear, misery and death. I am your Elder now!” Swords we’re raised again, and again Kamil stayed their hands, to try to protect the woman he had once loved.

“Do not listen to this ruse, Omar,” one of the Elder women yelled as, with a single glow from her eyes, the floor became quicksand, trapping Yusef, most of his lovers, and their Thieves up to their necks in the stuff. Chloe tried to pull people into her head again (as if she’d known how to do that before), but her hair caught fire trying to do that and then smoked when that extinguished itself. Akari tried to change into her Darkness form but was blinded by light and could not. Sajida could not raise a drop of water. Only Kalisha remained on her feet as lightning was pushed back by wind against the walls. “DESTROY HER!”

Yusef went along, watching as things went from mediocre, men eyeing him was a new thing, to rather terrible as his buttock was fondled and his 'suitor' was tossed aside. Powers clashed across the room and once again Yusef found himself trapped and helpless with nothing but his mouth to aide him, he knew he could blast out of the quicksand but he could see already that all he would do is maybe once again kill one and then be overwhelmed. His mind churned, kept coming back to the fact that his 'harem' was unruly, uncontrolled and continued to plot and plan things behind his back resulting in deals that were less than wonderful, plans that were downright awful and situations he had to deal with.

Diplomacy he could get behind, slipping in half the thieves guild must have cost them a fortune, or it would, and made them appear as a threat instead of an ally and of course it went sideways fast. With a groan he drew lightly on the power of the lightening, a crack of thunder filling the room as Yusef roared,"Enough, Kalisha! Stand down!" Even trapped in quicksand he expected to be obeyed when he lost it, he had been raised for power, raised to lead and taught that people would obey him. His hand rose and he tore the veil from his face and growled in anger,"Foolish woman, we came here to make allies not to fight battles that are as dead as the person they think you are."

Looking to the Elder he growled,"Release me, I am Yusef Bin Iben Karadeniz, rightful heir to the Midvadirian throne, enemy to the Iron Commander and his traitorous dogs and the only Sultan willing to listen to any deal involving the Sudavadirian people not bowing to Midvadir." He stood tall and straight, as much as could be managed trapped in dirt,"I had hoped that my fiancee, Kalisha, had come to broker a treaty between us that would lead to the first defeat that the Iron Commander had suffered at our hands, the first of many, but she has forgotten that there is more at stake than her pride. Stand down, all of you, and we can reach an arrangement that helps us both rather than doing the Commander's job for him."

Kalisha sank to her knees and clutched her chest in a panic attack that overcame her as soon as he said she was “foolish.” It was upsetting, of course, that her husband would use such a term. Yet it felt deserved. She’d coordinated a carefully laid plan to get what they all wanted without her unjust punishment getting in the way. She’d sent Sajida out to meet with her brother’s scout, worked with Chloe to find fire slime for the bombs they would construct together, and convinced Akari that it would be in all their interests if she buried the hatchet with the Thieves Guild. And all for nothing because she’d let her emotions finally explode from within the minute she’d been discovered, almost getting them all killed.

All those days eating soul snakes, absorbing their power, and crafting a replacement arm, the only thing that had kept Kalisha going was the idea of revenge against the Elders for what they’d done to her. She thought she’d put that behind her in favor of being the even keeled, wise woman Sajida needed her to be when she got emotional. But the time she’d spent mostly submerged in the Void Water yesterday had resurfaced all the pain, fear, regret, and anger that she’d tried to hide. The Elders’ furious pronouncement that she must die was simply the spark that ignited her rage again.

“Hmmm...perhaps you are the one to finally curb her...unnatural impulses, then,” the Elder woman said (referring to her lesbianism) as she released everyone, but kept her powers ready in case anyone tried anything. Not even the Thieves dared move a muscle, however. “And it appears we have a common enemy, and a common interest, Yusef Bin Iben Karadeniz. We will loan Omar’s army to destroy the dam and for the duration of the ensuing battle, before they must return home to help protect the village in case of retaliation, for our powers can only hold off a counterattack for so long. If you have an effective trap waiting for the Iron Commander, then it will be a glorious day indeed for the Tunami warriors. If you fail, however, Omar will not hesitate to leave you behind should he deem it necessary.”

“So it is agreed,” the other Elders said in unison, and Omar, Kamil, and their soldiers nodded.

“And one other condition,” the wrinkled woman hissed. “For the crime of murder, Kalisha Haroun will never be allowed to set foot here ever again, on penalty of death.”

“You will PAY for your crimes, Elder Imogin!” Kalisha howled. “If not today, if not tomorrow, if not by my hand, then soon.”

“And do not dare cross the Thieves Guild ever again,” one of the thieves growled too.

“Make sure to control your woman, Yusef. Now Omar, take this miserable lot of ‘allies’ away, and bring back for us a great victory.”

“So you have proclaimed it, so shall it be done,” Omar said.

And so began the long journey by camel train back to the Chloe Flyer, which was spent mostly in silence until they reached the aeroplane at last.

Yusef moved as soon as he was able, moving next to Kalisha, his hand dropping to slide around the back of her neck, fingers tightening slightly to let her know he was there, unaware of how he might look still dressed in womans clothing as he very possesively clutched his wife to be, his eyes flared at the womans words about her 'unnatural' inclinations but for a moment he held his piece his thumb stroking softly along the side of Kalisha's neck.

He nodded as the Elder droned on about Omar leaving them if they should fail, if they failed they would be dead and Omar irrelevant but his head snapped up at the pronouncement of Kalisha's 'crime' and her punishment,"You are so eager to get rid of her? She who makes a mockery of your stupidity. Men must become men with other men fucking their brains out but woman dare not pleasure another woman? It is you who are unnatural in your ideas. You who tried to kill her and failed, she ate the flesh of soul snakes, survived where others would die multiple times and you do everything you can to cast her out! And yet her first request of me as we learn of our love is for her people to be free? The very people who wish nothing but to disown or kill her?"

He shook his head, anger still blazing,"Kalisha Haroun is dead to you, you have managed to kill her with your hate. She is mine now and mine alone, you have repeatedly thrown her loyalty to you to the desert and if you do not want it I will take it. She will rise again and when she does it will be as Kalisha Karadeniz, my wife, my lover and the mother of my children. You may hope and pray she does not remember your foul treatment of her, for her words will shape my treatment of your people.....remember that the one who you cast out into the desert, the one your spurned time and again will determine your fate more than any you chose to favour."

With that he reached down and helped her to her feet, sparing but a glance for the thieves guild, Akari and himself would have words about that later as he leaned in to whisper in Kalisha's ear,"You are mine, your people do not want you, I will take you and love you in their place. Come my love, let us save these ungrateful wretches......you will rule them at my side and decide their fate."

Gesturing to Chloe and Akari to follow he stalked off, his lack of direction to Sajida as obvious as it could be. She was on her own till she decided otherwise.

Kalisha sighed in contentment as Yusef verbally lashed the Elders and then let that be the end of their contentious visit to Tunam Abina. But she looked at the fearful faces of the villagers she was leaving behind, perhaps forever- the women with water on their heads just like how she used to carry it, the children who shrank into corners just like she did- and couldn’t spare any reserves of anger for them.

“Yusef...” she sighed and wiped away tears as she leaned her head on his shoulder. “I may have planned this, but I should have included you in it. And I did not intend for things to get out of hand as they did, but I still let my pain overwhelm me, and for that I am truly, deeply sorry. I love you, I love Akari, I love Chloe, and I even love Sajida even though I don’t like her very much right now, and I promise I will never put any of you in harm’s way again...”

“As for my judgment...only those who are guilty will be punished. Perhaps once their poisonous influence has been removed, I will be able to lift the veil from the eyes of my people. But first, I must work to reconcile with poor, dear Omar and Kamil...it must be so hard to see their sister and friend back from the dead after all this time. And before that, since today might be our last day before we attack the dam in the early hours of the morning”- since a thief had brought word that Tomasi was in position and that the Iron Guard were forcefully marching their men dozens of miles to meet him by tomorrow morning- “I must settle your heart, for I have wounded it, and I hope you can forgive me, my darling man.

“I...I will be proud to take your name in marriage when the time comes. To take your endless love for me. To bear your children. To become yours in every way. And more importantly, make you mine as well, Yusef. I sometimes don’t feel I deserve you, but from now on, I will listen to you, I will nurture you, and I will make sure that in all things we are united. Each of us may have been wanderers, but from this we will build a family we choose- a real one. I will ensure that those of us who choose to stay that way act like it.”

She then tilted his head towards her and kissed him, earning a scowl from Kamil and a sad droop of Sajida’s head. By contrast, Akari and Chloe smiled.

The anger still burned and popped inside of Yusef as he glared at the people around him, the soft words of his wife to be brought a softening to his features as he kissed the top of her head,"We are in this together, in all things, Kalisha, good and bad....in your reconciling remember me, but also remember that they stood by as you were cast out. I don't know the details but I would have fought for you, not stayed in the web of poisonous tongues listening to their lies."

His voice was soft, only she could hear it as his eyes flickered over Kamil and Omar,"You do not know what bile they have been fed or what they now believe. Guard your heart my lover, don't let then break it again, you are mine and I don't want to see you hurt....even if it is my own words. You are not foolish, but your pain is great and I needed you to hear my voice....forgive my harsh words."

His hand dropped to caress her rear as he leaned in and whispered in her ear,"And you have given me every inch of your body, I know your heart lead you to do that as a symbol of how all of it belongs to me as well....your body is mine, your heart is mine and now you offer me your mind. I will work to be worthy of your offering in all I do." He kissed her then, ignoring the scowls and sad looks. He only had time for those who chose to embrace his love.

Releasing her he gestured to her,"Go, do what you must but in all of it remember my words and where you belong....and to whom just as I give you all of me."

Kalisha leaned her head on his and wiped her eyes on his strong shoulder before she reluctantly floated away to deal with Kamil and Omar.

First up to talk to him as everybody settled around the plane and set up makeshift tents for the night, even including Arcturis and Hopper, was Chloe. She sighed and said, “That was, uh...that was a little rough to say the least. I- if I’d known, I would’ve...I’m sorry. But, thank you for helping us. I just wish I could do something for Kalisha.”

“This has been eye-opening for me too,” Sajida said. “I...still don’t...necessarily know where I want to stand with everybody, but it was terrifying seeing someone I care deeply for be so angry in front of all us. She seems to have been holding onto this feeling for a while, and I know that pain all too well, and want to be there for her. But I can’t do that if I leave. So...I’m not. I just, I don’t know how to make her feel better either.”

“Well, telling her that you’re not ditching her is a start...if I may make a suggestion as well,” Akari said sharply at Sajida (who rolled her eyes), and then calmly to everybody else. “It’s been a very stressful day, and we have another one tomorrow. Perhaps we can put on a belly dance tonight for everyone else?”

“That sounds like a splendid idea,” Sajida replied. After all, she had been making note of the similarity in their two cultures’ dancing costumes and styles and wanting to see Akari in action.

“You sure we can throw that together so fast?” Chloe wondered, trying to deflect from the fact that she wasn’t the best dancer.

“Oh yeah, sure. I did that all the time with...you know, when I was in the caravan,” Akari said, avoiding her name. This prompted Chloe and Sajida to start planning amongst themselves, and meanwhile Kalisha was searching out Kamil and Omar to talk to them. That just left the thief feeling very small next to her fiancé.

Yusuf smiled at the red head, reaching out to stroke the side of your face,"I know you would have done everything in your power to help, my dear, you are the sweetest little thing." His smile hardened, just a touch at Sajida when she spoke but he listened and let her talk. He sighed softly and shook his head, not touching her but wanting to as she spoke about staying, but not committing....he would talk to her alone when the chance allowed but he frowned at Akari,"I'm not sure a belly dance is a good idea...."

He didn't want them flaunting themselves in front of these judgemental people,"These are the same people who cut of Kalisha's arm and cast her out to die becasue she loved another woman?" His eyes indicated his concern, all three of his cooperating girls loved each other too....he couldn't stand for them to end up getting hurt for kissing or touching each other during the dance. He already knew he couldn't stop the Elders.

Still stopping the girls, particularly once they had an idea in their head was difficult, so it wasn't too long before he saw Akari feeling small, a small movement and his hand rested on her hip,"Come my dear, Akari, want to help me get into mens clothing? You can tell me about your deal with the thieves guild...."

Akari explained, “The sentiment I’m getting from around the camp”- mainly by eavesdropping on conversations- “is that Kalisha’s business is her own and some of them are shocked at the way the Elders reacted and regretful for their own past actions. Besides, we’ll be careful to aim any public displays as part of our routine at you a while also making sure Kalisha knows in advance that they’re for her too.”

Then came the statement and conversation that Akari was dreading. “When I was 16 and starting out in the caravan, I also joined the Thieves Guild to try and save up so I could be free. They told me I had talent, that I was beautiful, that I could use my powers to make the world my oyster. I never had anyone care about me in that way except for- her. And I was so vulnerable...I did what they asked. Murder, stealing from food banks...I did it all. Except for commit crimes against innocent people directly.

“Then, when the Yubankti raiders came and destroyed my caravan and killed the woman I loved, I snapped because one of them was a Thief with the official markings and everything, and he was raping and strangling innocent people. Like, I’d killed people, but never anyone who I believed didn’t deserve it...and those were usually wealthy fat cats who contributed nothing. Anyway, I...I ripped his heart out with my bare hands and declared war against the Thieves Guild in a handwritten note attached a spike driven through his head.

“That was stupid. I was 17 and way more of a hot head than I am now. They weren’t responsible and he’d gone rogue. But it didn’t matter. The Thieves Guild has a rule against killing its own and does not take war lightly. I killed hundreds of them and managed to fend off hundreds more, but I had to find a way to cash out and go somewhere they wouldn’t find me...which eventually led me to you. But now that I serve a greater cause, I figured it was time to bury the dagger, so to speak. The thing is that the only way they were going to not hunt me down is if I renounced you and went back to being a thief in their employ.

“I couldn’t do that. But I found something that I thought perhaps would get me off their back, and that was a protection tax in perpetuity of 1% on all sales within Midvadir. Instead, they sent messages indicating that they’d throw their support to us if we did this, and Kalisha and I agreed. I know I should have come to you...we both should have. But we were under a lot of pressure...and now that I’ve made that deal, we have a powerful ally. And an even worse enemy if we renounce it for any reason.”

Yusef closed the tent, making sure the two were alone and unobserved, and more importantly close enough that he could reach up and take her mask off before she started speaking. He didn't interrupt, although his eyes flashed with anger at the part where her caravan had been attacked and again when she mentioned the tax she had levied on the Midvadirian people in perpetuity.

But he was silent for a while longer, shedding the womans clothing before slowly dressing before he spoke,"Yes....even under pressure you should have spoken to me. The four of you seem to love excluding me from your plans and ideas and it makes it difficult to trust you because I never know what I'll find myself trying to clean up."

Sighing he reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose briefly and then shook his head,"You have placed the Midvadirian people in debt, you have shackled them to the yoke of the thieves guild. The guild will not be satisfied with their tax. They will take thier tax and take what else they can as well....and what if other countries find out about it? Or the people themselves? They will rise up and kill me themselves...."

Shaking his head again he moved to sit next to her, his hand reaching to take her hand,"You have set yourself up for a difficult life, my love, you will never be able to just be my wife." He took her hand, flipping it palm up,"You will be my wife for as long as it works, but you have a duty to the Midvadirian people now. This tax lasts as long as the thieves guild does, so moving forward you will be more than my wife, you will be my shadow mistress as well. Starting today you have one additional task, as long as Midvadir pays this tax I charge you with this duty. You will build a web of shadows, agents, spies and assassins with one purpose...when the time is right this web will replace the thieves guild, uproot them totally and utterly and end the tax when it ceases to exist."

He looked sad, he was sure this task was possible, for a woman like Akari, but it wouldn't be possible for her to do this and remain his wife forever. It would endanger her and any children they had, but he couldn't allow the thieves guild to have such a hold over him and his country,"It will take decades, Akari, so plan carefully and cautiously and trust no one but me and the other two...maybe three if Sajida decides to stay...understand?"

Akari sighed, “I...we all love you very much, but have also underestimated you, to all our detriment. Perhaps we are just still so used to operating on our own, in the shadows, unloved and cold, that we didn’t know if you could handle us, prophecy or no. After today, that will never happen again.

“Nevertheless, by my actions, I have fulfilled my own prophecy and consigned myself to linger with one foot in Darkness with this task of yours- one that I can never tell Chloe, for she would beg me not to do it, especially not if I have to fake my death or something to that effect. However she finds out, I know it will destroy her. I know you still love me, but I wonder, for your part, if you’ll ever trust me the same way you proclaimed you would again, and I won’t blame you if you say no. Perhaps I was fooling myself to think that I could ever live a normal life...be a normal wife...”

Before she trailed off, she continued, “Let us focus on one war at a time, my love. Once we win, some of the allies we build today will remain loyal friends in any...other dealings. And for now, we can rest. Soon I will be dancing for you to show my adoration for you.” Then Akari kissed him, but sadly turned her head to the ground as she sighed, defeated and guilty.

He sighed, sadness filling his heart and he took her hand,"My love, my darling, if it was only us we had to consider I'd take the four of you, but you in particular, and leave it all behind. Find a cottage like in the desert and just live and love together with a whole gaggle of kids....some dark like Kalisha, some red heads like Chloe, some lovely ones like you and Sajida....but my duty is to my people, and yours is too....if you want to be my wife still."

He laughed, sadly and softly, reaching up to pull her into his arms, kissing her forehead,"You have made a debt that you and I will work our lives to clear, it may come between our physical selves but our souls are bound together, Akari, I would put my life in your hands over and over again. I am, even now, I trust you more than myself." He kissed her again, dragging her down to the bedroll and roll her on top of him like she had lain on top of him in the first of Chloe's ships.

"You are not alone in the shadows, Akari, you will fight this battle with me, the one tomorrow and the ones to come. Even the ones you have added to our list with the guild, but you will bear my child of light and shadow, you will raise it as you and I can and we will win but only together, okay?" His hand slid under her skirt to cup her rear,"And if it is in my power you will do it all from my side."

“I like the sound of a little cottage like that, but I know of this great palace we could move into. It’s got gorgeous, ornate architecture, a vibrant garden with pool in the middle, and a delicious Sultan to boot,” Akari joked and nibbled his nose after Yusef gripped her bottom. “Very lax home security package, though; I’ll be sure to strengthen it once we take up residence. Only the best for my husband.” She kissed him and looked deeply into his eyes, letting him know that despite all her insecurities and all her self loathing, the one thing she had faith in was him. “I have, however, been very bad of late...” she said as she pulled off her panties until they were around her knees, “and if you want to punish me, then I won’t fight it.”

Yusef smiled, his eyes closing softly as she nibbled on his nose, although they fluttered open with a laugh as she spoke about the home security and he nodded as she said she was bad, his hand sliding into place on her bare bottom, tracing the curve of her muscular rear as he nodded,"Am I a bad person if I do want to punish you, but it has nothing to do with what you have done wrong?" His strong fingers squeezed her rear for a moment, the hand digging into the firm flesh before he chuckled,"I'm afraid between the four of you, you've made me into rather a pervert...."

His hand released her rear, as he looked at her and smirked,"We're going to have to be quick and silent, my love, I'm going to give you a little spanking, but you're going to have to hold your cries in, can you do that?" He waited just long enough to get a confirmation, his hips pushing forward and grinding into hers as she lay atop him as he started to warm to the idea rather nicely, a large erection swelling between the two of them,"I'm sure I've mentioned how gorgeous you are?"

His fingers strokerd her buttock one last time in warning,"Don't cry out...." His hand lifted slowly, and then dropped, fast and hard on her exposed rear end, the sound of flesh on flesh sounding awfully loud in the small tent, but he was set now as he counted in her ear,"One." His tongue slithering out to lick the edge of her ear, his hand rose again and dropped, flesh turning a lovely shade of pink below the second blow,"Two...." Three more blows fell in quick succession, each one being counted off as he turned her bottom into a lovely red display of his finger marks and then whispered in her ear,"Now, untie my pants and show me just how sorry you are, my love..."

Akari relied on the same ability she’d shown to hold in her reactions to the spanks from Yusef’s soft but powerful hands that he’d delivered in front of the three other women. And these were not nearly as sharp; therefore, Akari only screwed her eyes shut, twisted her lips in to seal any groans away, and chuckled under her breath at the fact that, as much as she loved her dotty little pilot, Chloe would never have pulled this off.

Once the punishment subsided, Akari laid herself flat over him, making sure that her bare, dripping pussy ground against his bulge, and mewled, “I- I am sorry. I just have never been with anyone so kind, so selfless, so generous...I could go on, but is it any wonder that I love you with everything that I am?” She then kissed down his whole body, purring, “You offered jewels and your heart and trusted me not to steal them. You forgave me for making a deal that has put us at a disadvantage. And you have made me the happiest woman in Emada. On a normal occasion, I would give in to the ache that I feel to have your cock slip deep inside me, to take all your hot, virile juice in my womb. But time is against us, so just relax and let me take care of you.”

Akari had sucked him, but never to completion, so she was slightly nervous as she jumped his knee with her crotch and pulled his trousers down to mid thigh, Yet she knew how to start at least- by wiping his cock on her face, kissing and licking the tip, and then moving to lathe his mushrooming head and his piercing with her eager lips and tongue while stroking what she wasn’t sucking. This wasn’t a slow, romantic affair; instead, she knew he’d been stressed and needed relief, and he could tell in her eyes, in her moans, in her actions that she needed him to release all his stress into her mouth as quickly as possible.

Yusef smiled at his lover as she expressd her love for him, that smile turned into a moan as she quickly translated feelings into action, her body sliding down his. He pushed his knee forward, giving her something to grind on as she grabbed a hold of his meat pole, quickly driving him into louder moans and groans as she polished his rod most expertly and it was no surprise that he seemed to be enjoying himself immensely, but he could sense her nerves and he reached down to stroke the side of her face,"Perfect, my love, you're doing great...just..fuck...keep going."

He was stressed, but there was no place for stress with Akari's lips wrapped tightly around his man meat, pleasuring him with her growing skill and confidence as he closed his eyes for a moment riding the pleasure like a wave, the image of her belly dancing, something he was very much looking forward to seeing only making it more pleasurable. Gasping he opened his eyes, the urgency of her motions and his own desires washing over him,"Yes, yes, my love that's it....yes.....fuccckkkkk!"

Thrusting his hips up his groan rattled through the tent as he twitched between those loving lips and thick, hot seed erupted inside his lovers mouth. Thick, hot and salty it splattered her tongue, her mouth and the back of her throat as he trembled under her tender minstrations. Goose bumps pebbling his skin as the pleasure almost overwhelmed him as he kept thrusting into her mouth with each spurt.

Once she’d made her man cum, Akari made sure to slowly pull her head off his sensitive shaft and tip. Then she gave muffled pants as she struggled to hold his jism in her mouth, rode his knee to her own, smaller orgasm, opened her mouth to show his seed, and swallowed it down her delicate throat. She also inserted two fingers into herself and placed her fingers in his mouth so she could have him taste her own sweet, tart results.

“I have to head to rehearsal for tonight and teach our sweet Chloe how to shake it,” Akari quipped. “But I’ll see you tonight, my dear Sultan. And so will the other wives.” Of course, technically none of them were married just yet, but having to use the correct term wasn’t sexy.

Yusef was more than eager to suckle on the fingers offered to him, before patting her rear and nodding,"Chloes going to need plenty of practice, she doesn't have that much to shake on her rear, but plenty of nice flat belly to undulate! I'll look forward to watching." He chuckled before getting up and getting dressed himself, this time in his usual clothing before heading out to be seen amongst the locals and thieves guild, Arcturis called to his side as he worked through the cats various orders and commands before he found a quiet place to practice with his own sword.

There was plenty of preparation and things going on for the evening's festivities and he helped where he could before settling down to see what his 'wives' had cooked up.

Kalisha went into the front row seat next to Yusef that evening looking...troubled as she tried to hide what Kamil and Omar had said to her for all their sakes. But that soon passed once she saw Akari’s, Chloe’s, and Sajida’s sexy belly dancing outfits while they clambered into the open cabin of the Chloe Flyer as a makeshift stage, and the way they each looked at the man and woman with pure desire.

What neither she or Yusef knew was that, during practice, while Akari had been changing and cleaning herself up of the smell of her own sex and Yusef’s cum, Chloe had been flirting pretty heavily with Sajida. She’d done this to let her know the Caledorian pilot’s appreciation for Sajida deciding not to leave...and what she almost missed out on. Even Chloe, however, didn’t entirely know where her newfound confidence was coming from. Sajida was this close to ripping her clothes off and pinning down and devouring little, scrumptious Chloe...finally breaking her resistance to join the group sexually...

And then Akari came in all dressed up, and much as she loved her Gudarian wife to be, Chloe was definitely frustrated by the interruption. Meanwhile, Akari had pent up energy she hadn’t gotten to fuck away with Yusef, and Sajida was just annoyed with everything and everyone in general, and annoyed at herself for being annoyed. And so all three women poured their collective emotions into nailing the practice dances.

Once they were all up on stage and the musicians were in place, they started with a light and happy song about three joyous hearts finding each other in a wood. This was not a song that called for a lot of energetic hip shaking, but they still managed to pop their backs a few times to reveal their skirts for the benefit of Yusef and Kalisha; the rest of the audience gasped and grinned.

Then Akari and Sajida fell back and Chloe surprisingly took the lead with an instrumental rendition of Dawn of a Nation, the theme of the Caledorian Empire. This song led to Chloe stomping her feet, rolling her belly, and thrusting her fists out among other things and singing along as the music re-enacted the mighty and triumphant struggle of a tiny island people in the war against the Elder Dragons. Popular opinion of the Empire shot through the roof after seeing the redhead’s hips refrain from falsehood.

To calm the audience after that powerful performance, Akari, starting from sitting on
the stage and slowly rising to her feet, performed what she remembered of her inner psychic song in front of everybody, a level of vulnerability the thief had never achieved as up until now only Yusef knew it. Yet, her rendition had a slightly darker, more seductive edge to her vocals and musical backing. Chloe had to control her breathing as she’d never felt more turned on by her girlfriend.

Then Sajida danced for the first time in many years- and moved her fellow dancers, most of the audience, and her beloved Kalisha to tears with her mixture of three different Surai ballads that Sajida had introduced Kalisha to years ago-

The first about profound sorrow for one’s actions, which Kalisha understood to be Sajida’s penitence for her harsh actions towards Kalisha and Yusef.

The second about triumph over adversity, often called Journey Through the Dark Rainforest. Kalisha thought that this must be about Sajida’s trip across the world alone, and how it made her able to bear her grief.

And the third and last was about finding one’s place. For this, Sajida shook her hips, belly, and chest more and dropped to the floor frequently, even crawling on all fours, clearly indicating her slowly surrendering to her desire for Kalisha and Yusef. Both Akari and Chloe were also aroused beyond measure; even though they had done their level best to compete, they both knew now why Sajida was a master at her culture’s most recognizable art form.

And finally, all three dancers joined together on stage for a song that combined themes from all three of their performances- emotional highs, intimacy, dark intensity, and victory. And then they took a bow and all rose to their feet and gave a standing ovation, and many people surrounded Yusef and complimented him on his taste in women.

Except for Kalisha, who ran into the plane and started crying. In the crowd she wasn’t much noticed, but the girls did and quickly closed the cabin to anyone- even Yusef, which was strictly enforced by Hopper riding atop Arcturis’s head. Soon, everybody dispersed except for Kamil, Omar, and presumably Yusef, who hung around the plane wondering what was going on.

Sensing Kalisha's nerves Yusef slid an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close into an embrace unconcerned with the other people and their thoughts about her. She was his and he was hers and she had given her all to him, had she messed up, yes? Hadn't they all, but she had promised to share everything with him now, all her plans and thoughts and he hoped the others had taken that lesson too, certainly he seemed to think Akari had after her little make up session with him.

Yusef settled back when the dancing began, his smile growing at the first dance, enjoying the sight of his woman displaying themselves for him and his pleasure. The rest of the audience was just so much background noise as he watched rapt with delight. Chloe's dance had him almost ready to climb on the stage, so proud he was of his little red head, so different from other people with her communication issues and here she was not only learning to dance, but brave enough to share it with the world....a hostile world but he could feel her dance changing sentiment as easily as that, art was an amazing thing.

Akari's dance made his heart ache, how alone she had been, how she was now prepared to show that. Her showing had his fingers digging into Kalisha's leg, his own desires and emotions swirling in response.

Then there was Sajida, even Yusef had a single tear roll down his cheek, his lost lover was coming back to the fold her songs and dances made that clear. Her surrender at the end brought out the darkest, most controlling desires in Yusef and the protective love he felt for all the woman destined to share his life and yet, yet he restrained himself aware that this was for him and Kalisha but others were present.

The final combination dance had Yusef on his feet applauding just like everyone else, till Kalisha ran off of course. By the time he had shaken the many hands and received the congratulations he was locked out of the plane and again frustrated. After all this they still shut him out of things, a spanking was going to be the least of their concerns as he growled at Hopper and Arcturis, clearly very, very concerned and angry at again being shut out of something important. At what point would they realize they were all connected and that keeping him out only made their own task harder.

Yet here he was, pacing up and down and waiting feeling powerless and helpless and angry again. Like Kalisha and Akari hadn't learned anything.
