She did everything she could think to do to combat the problem; getting new pills from her doctor, making sure they hadn’t been tampered with, anything at all. None of it worked and it was starting to wear on her mental state. She started to lose sleep, put herself further into her work, working longer and longer hours, pushing herself to the extreme so that she could try and escape. Pills no longer helped her sleep at night, and with the stress of another large-scale raid approaching at work, her hallucinations becoming the worst they’ve been in months.
