Cyberpunk 2020

Max was confused. She felt like she was drugged badly and having a bad hangover. The cops were talking about the recent murders and some commited by her and a detective came and interrogated her. After a few hours of interrogation, she realized that she was charged with murdering 87 people including 33 police officers. Most of whom she did not recall killing.

She was then put into the cell again which was pretty empty. There was another man in the opposite cell and he seemed to be in pretty bad share like Max. "I don't know what the fuck happened, it was like a trip." Max said.

"Same here." The man said, "They said I killed 68 people, and I cannot remember any, but they had video to show."

Suddenly there were gunshots heard and something was going on at the police station.

A large man in metal armor fired at the cops at the entrance. His aim was very good as he had a lot of cyber enhancements to help and he shot AP rounds into the cops' heads, killing them. The cops return fire but the man was fast and nimble. "Where did he go?" A fat cop muttered and heard gurgling sounds and saw the man slitting the throats of the cops beside him and grabbed his throat.

The C-SWAT saw the man strangling the fat cop and shot at him. The man returned fire and shot an armored cop in the head but he was surrounded. The C-SWAT felt weird as he was surrounded but he did not give up and as he continued to fire and shot another cop in the head, they returned fire and killed the man. "Another one of these fuckers." A sergeant said. "Something is fucked up."
 
Mio laid on a bed. The nanobots in her body was working. She slowly opened her eyes as she regained consciousness. She stared up at the lights in her room. Her head was still a bit fuzzy from the anesthetic so it took a bit for her to remember where she was and how she got here in the hospital. She did remember though and turned to see Bob lying in the bed next to her. She spoke, her voice still as loud as it normally is but it lacks the normal energy and sounds tired. She says, "My gear... where are they? And what did you do... with the weapon?"
 
Bob opened his eyes and stretched. Mio was up and asking about her gear and Bob went to the closet in the room and looked inside. There were bags with Mio's gear and Bob's uniform and weapons. "All the stuff is in here." Bob said.

Bob was still not very stable as his body was still numb from the painkillers. He could feel some aches and some sensation and pain are really coming back. "I guess we made it..." Bob said to Mio. "I wonder where Max is?"

The woman walked into the secured wards and saw 2 cops in a booth and approached the cops. She shoved a dagger upwards under the neck of the first cop and punched the second cop in the throat. The cop choked and was held on the ground with his mouth covered and the woman snapped his neck. She approached a nurse and clubbed her head and dragged her behind the counter.

"Let's see." she muttered and changed her clothes as her clothes had blood on it and she put on the nurse's uniform. She approached a fat cop outside the ward and looked around. "No one else..." She smiled and grabbed the cop's head and snapped his neck.

She entered the room and saw a plump cop getting up from the seat. "Need any help?" The cop asked and the woman grabbed the back of his head and kissed him. The cop suddenly realized he was in danger but it was too late as the woman stabbed his heart while kissing him. She looked around and it was some prisoners cuffed to the bed and she unlocked them.

Going around to the other rooms, she saw another cop outside the room and the cop was busy doing crossword puzzle and the woman moved behind him. The cop was choked silently and she snapped his neck again. The entered the room and approached a bald cop with white hair and grabbed his gun. "Hey, don't play with that..." The cop shouted and the woman smiled and pointed the gun at him. She looked around and 4 more prisoners were on the bed. "Fuck ... not here." She muttered.

She brought the cop to the bed and got him to unlock the prisoners. "Fuck up this piggy and you can go." The woman said to the prisoners and she nodded. "With pleasure."

2 cops arrived and looked around for the officers on duty and were shocked to find them limp. But before they could call for backup, the woman moved behind them and punched their backs and shoved them to the prisoners. "Take their uniforms and weapons..."

The woman could not find Bob and the weapon and brought the prisoners in police uniform to the man in the vehicle which was slightly better now as the nanites started to repair his wounds. They found the police cars with the keys they had from the cops and the woman sent the prisoners away with the man and arranged for their safety.

She proceeded to another wing of the hospital and saw more guards and cops. "Damn it, this hospital is big." She said and saw 2 cops smoking at the back of the building and chopped the neck of a cop and he collapsed. The other cop was shocked and he was grabbed and pulled close. She dug her thumb into his spine and plugged into his neuralware and said. "I need to find an old cop. Bring me to him and I don't have to massacre everyone her till I find him."

The woman received a phone call as she placed her arms around the cop and walked into the hospital building again. "Yes boss, going to look for the weapon now. I will get it."

Mio stands up from the bed and almost fall. She still feels a bit weak in her legs. She manages to keep on her feet though and she moves to the closet. She puts on her armored outfit and takes her weapons and ammunition back. She then says to Bob, "Max... I sent her off to go home but then shit happened and I lost track. Let me see what's up with her now." Mio sits back down on the bed and begins to text Max.

[Hey Max. Sorry for disappearing like that. Went to check up on Bob but shit happened and ended up in the hospital. How are you doing?]
 
Max's antitoxins were kicking in and her drugs were getting cleared in her system, this means her pain came back but she turned on her pain editor to reduce the pain.

"We need to bring you back to your cell." a plump cop said and escorted Max in a wheelchair with another short cop.

As there were no one else in the corridor, Max rammed her head back and hit the throat of the plump cop who choked. The short cop was shocked and as he reached for his gun, Max's turning kick connected to his head, sending him into the wall and he slumped to the ground. Max kneed the jaw of the plump cop and he collapsed. She searched the cop for keys and uncuffed herself and went around to look for her gear.

"Shit, where are my guns and phone!" Max said and heard more gunshots. "Who ever they are, they are my ticket out of here."

"Something or someone hacked into my system and got me into all this shit, and they have to pay." Max said and saw another large man storming the police station with guns blazing. She noticed several corpses and dead cops in the police station as the firefight continued. "People are assaulting the station now?"

"Another guard room." The woman muttered as she snapped the cop's neck after entering the guard room and drew her dagger and moved among the few guards sitting and watching the monitors and slit their throats. A guard entered the room and his mouth was covered and a dagger placed at his neck. "Where are the cops?" The woman asked and the guard pointed at 3 locations on the map. "Thanks." She said as she choked him.

The woman walked towards the first room and saw several armored cops exiting the room and before the door closed, she entered the room. She plunged her dagger into the throat of a cop and grabbed the helmet of a second cop and snapped his neck. An armored cop turned and she shoved the dagger into the cop's eye and pounced on the remaining old cop. The old cop was disarmed and she pressed his rifle on his throat and crushed his neck.

Bob heard gunshots and quickly looked out the window and saw some cops shooting at an armored man with a lot of cyberwar. "What the fuck is going on?"

Bob exited the room and saw an old cop. "Some gunshots outside my room, what is going on Mike?"

"People are assaulting police and paramedics." Mike said. "All over town, people with a lot of cyberware were killing people. It was like they all went mad."

"What is going on?" Bob asked. "These people attacking the hospital too?"

"They attack people in uniform." Mike said. "Most of them are kinda suicidal, and crazy, heard that a few survived and we arrested some."

"Ok." Bob said. "Stay safe."

Bob returned to the room and told Mio to prepare and passed her gear. "Crazy people with a lot of cyberwar attacking uniformed people, and the killers may come in the midst of this chaos. Get ready."

Strapping the ammunition and weapons, Mio says to Bob, "We aren't in any condition to battle them head on. We need to come up with a plan. Do you have the weapon with you? We need to get out of here I think. Think you can use the weapon against them if they show up?"
 
An enforcer bot exited a C-SWAT truck and a cop looked inside and all the C-SWAT officers were limp on the ground. "What the fuck..." The enforcer grabbed his throat and pulled him into the truck. The enforcer snapped his neck and closed the truck's door and entered the hospital.

The lady approached the secured cell area and saw 2 old cops at the gate. She looped a wire around a cop's neck and grabbed the other cop with her cyberarm and lifted him off the ground. "Which should I keep?" She muttered and sniffed the cop's neck and snapped the neck of the cop with grey hair and pulled the other trembling old cop close. "Smells good." She said and used his biometrics and unlocked the gate. The cop was choked till he stopped moving and was shoved under the desk.

"Let's see..." She approached 2 nurses and tazered them and shoved them under the counter and saw 2 plump cop chatting and moved towards them. 'Useless... She said and chopped a cop's neck and his eyes rolled back and punched the other cop in his face and he was dazed. She grabbed his helmet and snapped his neck and hid the bodies.

"I don't really want to go room to room." She said and saw an old cop sitting outside a ward. She covered his mouth and punched his lower back and dragged him towards the other limp cops and snapped his neck. Then proceeded to silently murder another guard.

Mike was sitting outside the ward and he saw a nurse approaching. The nurse smiled at him and covered his mouth and pulled him close. Mike was punched and every punch ruptured his internal organs. He was dragged towards a pile of limp cops and as he reached for his gun, the lady grabbed his wrist and broke it. He moaned in pain and a punched to the side of his head and he went limp.

Bob put on his uniform and checked his ammo. "I still have some rounds for my Colt AMT 2000." Bob said. "I think we should leave before they come."

Bob exited the room and Mike was not outside. He quickly signaled for Mio to leave and they moved quietly and he spotted a pile of cops and moved out the gate where he saw the cops guarding the gate under the desk. "Fuck..." Bob muttered and went to the ground floor and saw an enforcer bot. "Someone is killing cops at the secured ward." Bob rushed to the enforcer bot and said to him but the bot grabbed Bob's neck and lifted him off the ground.

The woman in the nurse uniform search each room and murdered each cop in the room. "Where is the old cop and the weapon?" she said and exited the ward and went to the next ward.
 
"Storage..." Max said and saw 2 plump old cops in a secured area. The door was locked and he looked like a heavy door which was pretty secured. Max waited. "What the hell, what can I do?" Then the police station had an alarm and as one of the cop exited, Max grabbed him and choked him and entered the room. She pointed the gun at the other cop as she choked the old cop in her arm.

"I want my gear back. I'm not here to hurt you." Max said and the cop nodded. The cop in her arms flailed briefly and went limp and she followed the other cop to a box which contained her stuff. "So many boxes here..." She said and grabbed the cop and sniffed him. "Smells like Bob... Oh shit. Where's Bob?" Max muttered and choked the plump old cop. She connected her uplink and had several messages.

[Hey Max. Sorry for disappearing like that. Went to check up on Bob but shit happened and ended up in the hospital. How are you doing?]

[At the police station now, someone hacked into my neuralware and I was arrested. People are assaulting the station now and I'm trying to get out. Be careful, hackers can get into your neuralware, so I will be trying to find an old cell phone to communicate and not get connected with my neuralware.]

Max looked around the boxes and tried to look for one of the vintage communication devices and saw 2 armored cops searching the area. She waited in ambush and saw the cops looked into the storage but they could not get in. When the cops walked off, she continued to look and finally found a phone but it was out of battery. "Damn it, who has one of these old chargers now??"
 
Mio was following a bit behind Bob. She was on edge at the sight of the enforcer bot so it didn't take her long at all to react when the bot suddenly attacked Bob. She lifted up her assault rifle and fired a clip into the enforcer. Being as close to it as she was, most of the shots managed to hit the target. The AP rounds shreaded the enforcer and it collapsed on the floor. Mio extends a hand to Bob and says, "You alright?"
 
Bob kicked in the air as he was lifted up. He could feel his spine getting compressed and before his neck snapped, the enforcer bot was shredded by Mio's AP rounds. Bob collapsed on the ground and gasped for air. A second more and he would have been crushed and dead. Bob grabs Mio's hand and staggered up.

The lady heard gunshots and quickly approached it and saw some cops moving there as well. "Damn cops." She muttered and stabbed a cop in the head.
The other cop turned around and the lady punched his throat and placed his head under her armpits. "SNAP"

She saw several cops in the hall and spotted the dead enforcer bot and saw Bob and the weapon. "Found it." She said and slit the throats of 2 cops and shoved her dagger into the spines of 2 cops and dislocated them, dropping the cops to the ground. She draws her heavy pistol and shot 3 cops in the head while grabbing a plump cop as a shield.

Bob saw the lady and aimed at her with his gun but the lady was inhumanly fast and she shot at Bob before he could aim, and Bob managed to dodge instead of taking the shot and the bullet narrowly grazed his cheek. Bob hid behind a pillar but before he could even think about shooting the lady, the lady spotted the tip of his pistol and shot it off his hand.

"Fuck!" Bob muttered, "Its the killer!"
 
As the lady appeared, Mio had dived behind a second pillar close to Bob's. She saw Bob's weapon get shot off and she said, "Go! I'll cover you." She reloaded her gun with ammo and dove out of cover, shooting haphazardly at the lady as she lay down cover-fire for Bob. The lady tried to use the dead cop as a shield against Mio's barrage but she felt a bullet tear through the cop and hit her in her hip. The cop's corpse was not good enough to stop AP rounds. They lady ducked rounded a corner to avoid the stream of bullets.
 
Max saw several other people with Cyberware assaulting the police station and most of them got gunned down. Then another enforcer box in the police station started going berserk. The C-SWAT was doing well to take out many of these gang members and others with a lot of cyberware and had to focus their attention to take down one of their own.

Max grabbed a plump cop behind cover and choked him as the C-SWAT were distracted and dragged him into a closet. She spotted a black shape with active camouflage snapping the neck of a cop and approached and found a pile of dead cops as the shape was strangling another armored cop. It looked like one of her friends, one of the elite assassins for hire and as Max wanted to send a message to him, she opened her communication again and sent out a quick text to Mio and Bob again, with the risk of getting hacked. [Looks like someone is hacking even top assassins to assault the police station. I think I'm in the main station, please take care.]

Max saw a reply from Mio and as she checked the reply, it seemed to be a blank message, but she did not know she got infected again.

"Holy shit... officer down!" a C-SWAT officer shouted as he spotted 6 dead cops and a team of 4 armored cops approached to search. Behind the last officer, a black shape moved behind him and stabbed his throat with a monokatana and used the officer as a shield as she shot the head of an officer with 3 AP rounds.

"Fuck!" A C-SWAT officer shouted as he returned fire and the limp officer with his AP rounds but none of the rounds penetrated through to the killer as he calmly shot another 3 rounds into the officer's head.

"Backup!" The remaining officer shouted, "Where is my backup..."

Max circled around him and pulled his rifle to choke him. The C-SWAT was also inhumanly strong and Max could not crush his neck but managed to grab the mono dagger from the C-SWAT officer and stabbed his throat.

2 more heavily armed and armored C-SWAT officers arrived and Max landed on him and drove her monodagger into his eye and twisted the blade while the other lady placed 4 AP rounds into the other officer's head under his helmet.

Another team of armored cops rushed towards them and Max grabbed a fat cop and used him as a shield as she used his gun and shot at the heads of 4 cops, killing them. There were many cops and Max was blasted with a few solid slugs and she flew 20ft back into a wall and everything went black. he was bleeding bad and her body went into shock and her system rebooted.
 
There were more C-SWAT officers arriving and they rushed into the room and fired suppression fire at the lady giving Bob and Mio a chance to escape. Bob's face was bleeding and he used his hand to cover the wound and made his way outside. Another group of cops entered and Bob saw his sergeant. "The killer is very fast and deadly. Be careful."

Bob saw an empty police car and looked inside. The keys were still in the ignition. "Let's get out of here. She shall not have this thing." Bob said as he showed Mio the weapon. "Where should we go? Do you know where Max is?"

The C-SWAT sprayed her direction with bullets and everything was dusty. 2 officers rushed over and searched for her but she was gone. "Where did she go?"

The rear C-SWAT officer had his mouth covered and a dagger shoved through his spine and he was paralyzed before he could fire off any rounds. "Oh, these guys are working offline..." The lady said and moved behind 2 officers and slit their throat and she kicked the remaining C-SWAT officer in the face, sending his nose into his brain. The lady looked at her leg and it was bleeding badly and she reduced the power in her leg and stopped the bleeding. She injected healing nanites and moved to the side as she heard more cops approaching.

She took out her silenced pistol and took out all the C-SWAT officers before the other cops arrived and waited in ambush on the ceiling. "Just regular cops?" She muttered and stabbed the throats of the 2 rear cops and slit the throats of the 2 ahead. "Wow, clueless...' She grabbed a fat cop and snapped his neck. The balding old cop beside him turned around and was grabbed as the lady pulled her silenced pistol and shot the heads of the remaining cops. She did not waste time at all.

She crushed the old cop's throat and rushed out to look for Bob and fired at the cops outside who returned fire. She was deadly and accurate with inhuman speeds. A motorcycle cop hid behind a patrol car and saw his colleagues fire at her and one by one, they were shot in the head.
 
Mio gets in the car and tells Bob to drive. "We'll find out where to go in a minute." She looks at her phone and says, "Max is at a police station. It's being assaulted by assassins who have had their cyberware hacked." She looks at the weapon and says, "What exactly is that thing and why does the cop killer want it so badly?"
 
Bob started to drive to the police station. He passed the weapon to Mio. "I have no idea what this is." Bob said. "It has a button here that seems to be some shock button and another one that pokes you."

Bob could see the police station ahead and said. "I don't know what is going on, everything is fucked man... Let's try to consolidate and figure this out."
 
The cops fired and hit the black shape and as the smoke dissipates, the shape vanished. "Where did it go..." Before a cop could finish his sentence, a hand grabbed his neck and with a quick jerk, the cop went limp. An old cop froze and trembled in fear as he turned and saw 6 cops clutching their throats as blood flowed down and he saw an eclipse bot briefly before the active camou was turned on again and the bot reached him.

2 plump cops saw the old cop floated off the ground and could see a shape lifting him by his head and suddenly, the old cop was thrown at them. "Eclipse class bot... how is the active camou so good?" The plump cop muttered as he crawled away and the black shape appeared above him and stomped behind his neck, snapping his spine.

Max rebooted again and saw all the cops getting taken out already. She switched to her thermal vision and saw 2 trembling cops and a shape moving towards them. "Eclipse bot..." Max muttered but as she switched back to normal vision, the active camou was so good that it was hard to tell it was there until both cops were grabbed and lifted off the ground.

There was an enforcer bot exiting the police station and several heavily cybered up C-SWAT following them and they walked away. Max saw the 2 cops that were grabbed standing up and following them and as she used her cybereye to focus on the back of their necks, she could spot a chip connecting to their cyberware.

Max searched the back of her neck and found that her connecters in her neuralware was already damaged with a destroyed chip. She tried to get up and her legs did not move. There were a few critical errors in her neuralware and she sat back and rebooted the system and left the self diagnose function run repair on itself. If she was in combat, she would be dead.
 
Mio observes the weapon. She says, "I wonder if this thing has that new-fangled cyberware poison in it. If I can get this to doctor, they might be able to find an antidote."
 
Bob saw a lot of police cars outside the police station and quickly went around to check. "Shit, where's everyone?" Bob muttered and looked around. He walked over to a few police cars and found several limp cops inside the police cars. "Officer down! Backup at Police HQ required."

Bob started to get worried. "Where's Max?"

Bob looked around and found more dead cops. The attackers with a lot of cyberwars were also found among the dead cops. "This is a battleground" Bob muttered as he looked at the various ammo cases on the ground and dead bodies.

Throughout the city, bots were getting hacked and people with too much cyberware were affected as well. Even the big corporations were not spared and the death tolls in the Arasaka and Militech offices were high. The Chinese Telecommunications Companies which were thought to be just mobile giants had most of their staff murdered as well as videos of Chinese bots and Chinese solos emerged online.

The Army had the fair share of massacres and chaos started. This is the time where people would expect gangs to loot the city but in reality, the gangs were affected as well. A few hours after the first killings and hackings begun, the security of most buildings were down. The police was trying hard to contain the murders but there were so many spy bots which were hard to take down.

The dragoons and enforcer bot which were bigger were the first to be taken down and one by one, the bigger combat bots were taken out. The security on the uplinks were secured with many hackers working non-stop to fix the online environment. Even human hackers did not get spared as many things online were destroyed. This was not done by humans. Perhaps it is an AI that woke up.

Max rebooted and saw Bob in uniform and she waved to him. "I'm here!" Max said.
 
Loading her weapons, Mio steps out of the car and looks around. She says, "Be careful. If something dangerous moves, shoot it." She then goes over to the limp CSWAT and takes a few more tear gas grenades and flash bangs off of them.
 
Bob rushed over to Max as he spotted her and Max was still bleeding. "Oh shit..." Bob muttered and looked at her wounds. It looks quite bad. Bob had a first aid kit in his uniform and used it to add pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding. Bob saw a lot of other holes in Max and the other holes were not bleeding but the cyberware was damaged.

Bob looked around and there were lots of limp cops everywhere, and even C-SWAT officers were taken out. "What the fuck happened here?" Bob said and quickly helped Max up and moved towards Mio. "We need to bring her to the doctor now."

The lady drove off in a car and within minutes, a police car spotted her car and gave chase. "Fuck this." The lady said and drove into an alley and there were 3 police cars outside and the cops carefully entered the alley to search.

A plump cop and a short cop approached her car and the lady stepped out behind them and grabbed them in a chokehold and choked them together. The cops choked and flailed as their throats were crushed and they were dragged into the rear seat when they went limp. The lady waited for the other cops to enter the alley and spotted an old sergeant at the police car and moved behind him. She grabbed the cop's gun and shoved it into his throat. "I need to find the old cop with my weapon." She said. "I'll try not to kill you and your friends if you help me find it."
 
Max saw Bob helping her up and said. "We need to go." Max whispered. "There is an eclipse class bot murdering everyone. This guy is somehow more advanced too."

At the back of the building, heavy caliber gunshots were heard and Max shouted at Bob. "We need to go... NOW!"
 
Mio moves over to help Bob get Max to the car safely. She then says, "I'll call the doctor. Bob, you need to drive." She then takes out her phone and contacts the doctor.
[Need you. Max is injured.]
 
Bob helped to get Max into the car and got into the driver's seat and drove off. Bob felt uneasy as he had a feeling that someone was watching them but could not see anyone. Bob quickly sped off and he heard a gunshot and one of the tires of the car was blown out but Bob could control the car and continue to drive despite being on 3 tires.

He turned and looked at Max and Mio. "I've done this before..." Bob said. "I don't think we can go to the hospital as the killer will probably find us. Where should we go?"
