In the span of six months, Fiore had endured two massive wide spread changes. The first during the war with a rival nation that had invaded as a grand wizard used a spell to reconfigure all of the kingdom to her liking and desire for distance, and compression in order to deal with Acnologia this had been more public and warned as she had declared it to divide the powers of Fairy Tail from one another and keep them from fighting back against her people, as well as to delay the great destroyer from her boss. Everything had went back to normal in a day but this however, another magic from an unknown user had made everyone's minds, and bodies change. It wasn't fully noticeable at first as random leaflets had appeared after the magic to taunt the world that they were going to descend into madness and desire as they all broke one another.
Everyone had started to be given different roles and types as their bodies and minds seems different, each had a mark on their wrists that gave them a symbol which translated to one of the three types, Alphas, Betas, Omegas. They'd have all been warned that when it came time they'd destroy one another as they had no idea just what each of those things meant for each other at first. Though there were rumors as people had been changing or reacting differently, mostly in the Omegas and Alphas, as the Betas had seen little change in themselves other than a sense of indifference and sometimes submission to Alphas and annoyance to Omegas. But the rumors were growing of urges in Alphas, and needs in Omegas and what happened when Alphas were around Omegas. It hadn't reached Fairy Tail yet, but every day they didn't find the answers to undo the country wide magic the closer they came to finding out.

Aether Amell had groaned as he looked over a quest board, recently his body had been throbbing a bit in his loins that had been growing. He was a memory mage with a habit for explosions and copying other people's magic when it was needed. But he couldn't remember a time he had felt this way before short of when someone had knocked over a table and he saw a lot of girls butts that had fallen over it as a teenager when he joined Fairy Tail, as an adult he thought he was over that in terms of sensations as he stretched and started to grab a quest to register it. Maybe if he let out a lot of pent up energy he might feel better, he had a bit more aggression since his Alpha mark appeared on his wrist but he was always a dominate type in combat but he and the other Alphas had been getting a bit more annoying with one another worse than usual. Though it was some of the ladies that seemed to have had the hardest time with their changes, some had went through quite a bit of behavior shifts and mood swings.

The Alphas had been quite a few in Fairy Tail and for some it seemed to work for them to be honest. There was a lot of fighting but that was normal, but lately some things had been changing for them. Some of the more recent had been gossip between the Alphas of Elfman and Evergreen as they had been getting together and seemed unable to have a child though no one knew why, or was unaware the rarity of an Alpha to get pregnant. Other people had been clashing or were indifferent Cana a Beta continued drinking, Levy another one kept reading up on all of this to try and undo it all.
But some Alphas were more fighty than normal, Natsu and Grey were regularly needing to be separated but it seemed others were having issues. Gajeel had went through a change as he and Levy had no longer seemed attracted to one another since the change, they had assumed it was from that and were taking a break so he had been a lot of pent up, and left him thinking about someone who had followed him around which left him getting a different feeling, when he saw or spoke to her. As a result he had considered picking up something with her during this time as he figured out his own issues. But then again, his issues were also being seen by another person. Laxus of all people who normally avoided relationships had been looking into the same woman, and specifically Gajeel as he didn't trust the man as far as he could throw him. He had beaten him once before when he joined the Guild for what he did to their people, but this was something more primal than that he almost was... territorial and needed to get to the heart of it with the woman who had been the reason.
