You either love them or you hate them with a passion, for me it's leaning towards the later catergory why because when it comes to sexual type rps the only thing I hear is how one guy (or girl but that's rare) wants to fuck as many characters as possible with no content of a story and it's a major fuck fest, so what's that's one kink that you can't stand that one thing that you keep getting over and over again that you just makes you want to say "WHOEVER DOES THIS WITH ME AGAIN, GETS BLOCKED" well maybe not that extreme but we'll see how it goes.

One more thing, if you have already dropped a roleplay because you didn't click but all of a sudden, you did click again what would you do?

I’d say one frequent thing that always makes me feel a little alienated is partners who only want to play against overly busty women/curvy women.

I’ve never been able to enjoy playing as super curvy ladies, most of my characters are either thin/wirey, or more toned and athletic. The aesthetic of really chest heavy women has never appealed to me, in art, animation, or anywhere for that matter. It's not the kink I dislike the most, but it's definitely the most abrasive in my RP career because it happens the most frequently.

Not into Fandoms. Even for shows/movies etc I like. I find it too taxing to have to stay true to an existing piece of work/world. I would be ok with a RP that is based on "X" but not one that has to be exactly like "X".

Kinks wise, I am not interested in rape/coercion as there seems to be little scope for plot development. Not into tentacles which was really huge at one point in time.

I really hate it when a character is supposed to be like a shy wallflower but then the person shows you a pic of this wallflower and it's like a big breasted, model brazenly showing off her goods. Likewise when a character is supposed to be in their 40's yet you get shown a woman is 23 at best. Stuff like that bores me.

I hate hentai/anime. I’ve never been a fan of that style of cartoon. The females voices are high pitched and screechy. Even when they are supposed to be having fun it sounds like they’re in pain. If they aren’t unrealistically curvy, they are built like a 13 year old. I don’t see the appeal of it.

Oh wow, I thought I was the only one! I hate how the characters all look so so childlike and similar. I really hate it when I am discussing a plot with someone and they send me a face claim (none is needed at all but anyway..) and it is of an anime character. I just can't take it seriously.

Never been fan or understood futas. This may sound stupid but theres threesome porn if your into both sexes like that.

Maaany people hate the anime look, especially after teenage.
I have had people push their stuff on me often. Frankly forgetting most of it, but

I don't get superheroes either. Monsters and all that are great as long as it's platonic rofl. Anything not close to human is not sexually appealing for me, and super powers are boring.

Very bad dialogues during sex scenes. Shhhh! lol.

Full on rape, sexual torture, anything belonging in the toilets or smelling nasty, one or both (???) being tied up and gagged and then what do you write, a nod?

Ugly characters. Regular people are good, just not UGLY

People asking for promiscuous and/or harem. Yeah, that happens if you give me a very deep scenario.

But the worst one is not listening to me saying NO this doesn't work.

Another thing I hate is historically set RP's where everyone behaves like it is 2019. It doesn't have to be an essay or documentary but why bother if you are going to ignore the time period asides from stating the year?

I fucking HATE boring submissives. There are good subs and bad subs. A good sub will make you want to dom them more, one way or another. But I'm talking about those glorified sex dolls that just lie on their backs, all like "fuck me daddy" like they don't know what else to do.

Also- Age gaps/play where the male is older. Yeah, I get why some people like it but after people ask you to play it for so long... Ugh. My wish these days is to play against a more mature woman.

Definitely the first. Doormat submissive that want you to do all the work.

Demons: I find most people who use demons as a character type are doing it for the edge and the coolness factor because their character actually lacks anything interesting and that just turns me off. The same goes for angels as well; both seem like a pretty bad character device to try and make a character interesting.

Roleplaying characters from an original universe: I do not see the appeal of that at all. Its all pretty boring for me. Why not play something that is yours? Why piggy back off someone else's creativity?

Tentacles: just no, as an avid anime fan, I never understood tentacle hentai

Space Age: the dystopian space age future was never a theme i found enjoyable. Always hated star trek, barely enjoyed star wars.

Porn Star face claims: This is a personal one; I find all porn stars ugly and their crooning to be grating on my ears. They are all turn offs to me so if someone asks me to RP that it is a hard no.

“Sup my philosophical homie, I’m about to yeet myself over to the thinking corner and contemplate the hell outta’ my existence”

'hate' may be a strong term for some of these but these are generally turnoff.

1) Partners who want gangbang/multiple lovers without reciprocating when asked. I just find partners who do this to be a bit selfish and such.

2) Furry/Anthro characters outside of werewolf style characters, for the most part. Snouts and muzzles are just... Not sexy to me, how can you kiss them/be kissed back?

3) People wanting canon characters, without offering to play a canon character in turn for someone. Again, a bit selfish in my opinion since they always want to play OC's only.

4) Full on/flat out rape/noncon. Psuedocon or such is fine, but I can't do rapes that are traumatic. I've ended a few RP's over this one.

5) Feet. I just do not get it, at all. And I never will.

They're used for walking, and kicking.

One that I don't so much hate as I struggle to feel like I'm doing it correct, is realistic RP's set in a country other than my own with a vast cultural difference. Take Japan for instance (because it's the most common for this). I have no frickin' idea what japan is really like, all I have to go off is media and my occasional foray into weeb'ery

"Ok, so this is set in modern Japan."

Me: "Ok so giant robots, tentacles, katana's 'Ara-Ara', brightly colored hair, and people that blush at eachother all the time."

Yeah, it's not something I do easily either. Sure you can research and read up on/and all that jazz, but I wouldn't trust Wiki and a few websites to provide a thorough tour on the Shibuya district or some other small tokyo prefecture. Not just Japan, but i'm doing an RP set in modern day Rome at the moment, so i'm just sorta... winging that a little, ahah.

I hate being tied up and gagged before a sex scene. No ability to move, no ability to talk, no ability to roleplay basically. I'm sure it's fun in real life but from a writing perspective it kills the rp. I guess I wouldn't mind reading about it though. I just don't want to write as a tied up gagged character.

Posts at that stage involve alot of parroting and mental/physical reaction to what was done in the previous, it gets a little tedious if its stretched out because you can't really drive things forward too much. It beats being tied up and gagged AFTER a sex scene, because that's an entirely different kind of RP.

I got you, they mostly speak Italian/English, majority are Roman-Catholic, and at some point you will be fighting in a large circular arena.

I'm not a super fan of someone who has a few set characters that they play. There is no way they could possibly change or expand them. But then you're expected to come up with a brand new character to fit their roleplay.

Like I get having a great idea you want to play. But please don't expect me to be super flexible and then refuse to change anything about that character.

Got another one, wanting to roleplay as ourselves, i mean as our actual selves, in first person.

I prefer first person to be honest as that is what Role Play is to me, a form of acting. That said I still play the character, I don't think writing in third person stops someone from playing the character as themselves if that is what they wish to do.

And then there's people like me who have been at this long enough, and have a memory going far back enough, that coming up with a legitimately brand new character is a challenge on a mathematical level. Unless I'm jumping into a type of genre I haven't done before, I have invented enough personae to populate entire trans-continental empires and cannot readily conjure someone who isn't just "this other one but B in place of C."

I don’t like first person and I don’t like messengers for the same reason. Some people cannot separate roleplay from reality. I had a partner who wanted to play as ourselves on Yahoo messenger and I went along with it. Then it became a ‘real’ relationship where he got upset and jealous when I wasn’t on at a set time. With third person there is a clear barrier between me and my characters. I don’t do, or hardly do, slice of life anymore.

I don’t like writing a sex scene and right after in OOC have the guy ask, ‘did you get off because I came’. That is weird to me. It makes me uncomfortable. I’m not here to masturbate. And he got upset at me for that. I’m fine with ‘wow that was a great scene’, I’d prefer if we didn’t go deeper than that.

When the line gets blurred it can become super weird. Years back I did a rape RP with someone, I was still getting into RP so decided to try a theme I was ambivalent about. Anyway the way the person spoke about it at times I was never sure if they were describing something that really happened to them or not. They would talk about it OOC as well which just added to the really dark vibe I was getting. The RP was in third person but it was just all really odd.

Another thing I "hate" is when your partner doesn't listen to anything you say. I have had a few arguments come about because they have agreed to things in the pre set up chat only then to have to get pissy when they happen in the RP. I told them all about it and they agreed to it!

One more is when I am attacked for a characters views or background. One time I was setting up my character, describing how he feels and why he feels that way and my partner comes at me in PM saying that she disagrees and how it is a cop out etc. Ummm... whether you think it is right or wrong that is how he feels and why he is the way he is. It derailed the RP as we got involved in a debate about that and other things and it just wasn't fun anymore.
