Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Relic mouthed a simple 'thank you' to Calder before he turned to look at his lover. He moved a little bit closer to the man. His hand rested on the front of his chest, eyes staying with his as he let the warmth fill him and heal up some more of his wounds, making it at least a little more bearable. He then looked back over at the blond and he sighed. He turned to his lover once more, biting his bottom lip some more and he slowly rested his hand in his, not wanting to have him leave him or pull away. "Tanner I... I have... not-so-good news and... and it may be worse than um.. what happened."

He flinched back. Something inside of him told him. Tanner shook his head, willing for it to not be true. "N-no... No please no... I... Why..." The words broke down into incoherent sobs as he pulled away further. How could this be happening? What had he done to deserve it? "I-I can't!" he sobbed, shaking now.

Relic looked at the other, brows furrowing and he slowly moved a little closer to where his husband was. "Tanner... Tanner. It's okay." He whispered, kneeling in front of him and reaching forward, but stopping when he was a few inches away. "I .. Whatever you want to do, I will stand by your side. I won't make you keep the child and I won't make you give it away. I want whatever you want. I.. I love you, Tanner. I love you so much... NOthing will change that."

It was all too much. He couldn't make a decision and the blond felt his brain beginning to shut down. The blond scooted away further, whimpering. "I... Bed... Tired..." He shook his head more, confused.

Calder stepped forward and helped Tanner to stand up, and then Relic. He got his friend settled in the bed, and then guided Relic to the bed he'd set up earlier. "Get some sleep, Relic..."

Relic looked up at the other and whimpered softly as he did so. "Okay..." He whispered, slowly moving to lay down on the bed and sighing some more. He hated this. He really, really did. His eyes closed and he curled up on the little cot-like bed, eyes fluttering closed and he tossed and turned for quite a while, not really able to sleep. At all.

Tanner slept for a while, but only out of complete exhaustion. And even though he slept, it was filled with nightmares and crying babies with evil red eyes... The blond sat up, breathing heavily and sweating. It was dark out, thank goodness. He knew, in an instant, that he couldn't keep the baby. But he also didn't want to disappoint Relic. Relic loved children! But...if there was an accident... He got up and tiptoed to the top of the stairs, stopping at the top to stare down. Well, he was already hurt anyway...right? Taking a deep breath, the blond walked back to the door, closed his eyes and walked forward again, crying out as his shoulder hit the first stair.

At the cry, Relic was up. Looking around and gasping. He ran out of the room, searching before he finally saw his love "TANNER!" He yelled, jumping down the stairs and stumbling over to where he was. "Tanner! Oh my love!" He whispered and pushed some hair out of his eyes "RU--"
"Shush!" Rune whispered, already there and resting a hand on the back of his head to try and calm his brother a little bit.

Relic knelt beside his lover, beginning to adjust him and be sure every thing was okay. "Tanner... What happened?"

He groaned, hoping that he'd angled the fall to hit his stomach a few times. It sure felt like he had. Looking up, Tanner just whimpered. "I... I forgot where I was and fell..." He hated lying, but sometimes it was necessary. At least this way Relic wouldn't be hurt or hate him. That was the most important thing: Relic couldn't hate him. Because he already hated himself enough and Tanner didn't know if he'd be able to handle someone else hating him even more than they already must after what had happened.

"Liar." Rune coughed, rubbing at his chest a few times to show the act a bit. He looked down at Tanner, arms crossing over his chest.

"huh?" Relic looked over at his brother, staring at him for quite some time before his features fell and a soft 'oh' passed his lips. He turned to Tanner and pulled him into a loose hug, not wanting to hurt him or have him freak out. "Tanner..." He whispered, leaning away and looking down at him. "There was the option to abort the child. I...I will never make you carry the child of your rapist in you." He pushed his hair from his face, eyes staying to his. "I love you. This will change nothing. I want your happiness. And if this child is making you jump down stairs to try and get rid of it, it is not worth it. The child's life... is something that no one will hate you for if it ends. This was not your choice, but it IS your choice to keep the child or not. Since your choice is the latter, I stand by you one-hundred percent."

Having heard the commotion, Jupiter paused long enough to pull pants on before rushing down the stairs. He sighed and pushed Rune out of his way so that he could begin to assess the damage done. "Concussion," he muttered. "Dislocated shoulder... bruised vertebra... cracked ribs... sprained wrist..." He looked Tanner carefully. "You could have come to me. I would have helped you without the collateral damage." Jupiter stood so that Relic could begin to put his husband back together. "There's no telling if he accomplished all that he wanted to," the doctor said to Rune softly. "I don't detect internal bleeding, though, so chances seem slim..."

Relic shrugged his shoulders. "Then you'll just fix that bit, Jupiter." He commented while he healed up the wounds the doctor told him about. His tear-filled eyes stayed with the man's body and he took in a few deep breaths to try and control himself. He soon moved to his ribs and then lifted his eyes to the man's and he bit his bottom lip some more. "I love you, Tanner. Always." he murmured, wanting to be sure that he knew that.

He turned. "I said that I would. But Tanner will need to ask me, because I cannot prescribe something otherwise." Jupiter knelt down next to the blond. "You come and see me soon, Tanner. I promise to help you, without judgment." He waited for a nod before heading back upstairs and to bed.

Tanner was scared. Everyone said that they wouldn't judge him, but he knew better. He could see it in their eyes. Tears leaked out of his own as he struggled to sit up, and pushed Relic away from him. He was embarrassed and sad and confused and angry. "Just leave me alone," he whispered, turning away to force himself to stand without any help and then walking away from both men.

Relic watched him, tears pouring down his face now. He stood and ran up the stairs to tug at Calder. "Go! Go... Go help him." He whispered, yanking at the man a few more times with a whimper. "Please do. I... I don't know what to do and I just... he doesn't want to listen. I'm okay with it! i'm okay that he doesn't want the baby. Let him know! Please... I don't know what else!"

Calder had woken with Rune, but stayed upstairs. Too many bodies would do more harm than good. Looking at his brother-in-law, Calder shook his head. "Give him space, Relic. At least for tonight." The blond had a feeling that it was just too overwhelming for Tanner at that moment. "He needs a little time... Everything you say contradicts what he thinks you feel... He knows now, at least, that he's got help from Jupiter when he's ready to ask for it. I think that will keep him from making anymore rash decisions..."

Relic whimpered and collapsed onto his chest, arms wrapping around his torso and he hugged him tightly. Eyes closed and he buried his face into his neck, crying lightly. "I just... I just want him better! And ... and to smile again and know that I love him." He whispered, arms looping tighter and nuzzled his neck a few more times.

"I know," he whispered, hugging Relic tightly. "But it's been less than twenty-four hours... It's going to be a long road." There was nothing much else to say, because there was nothing else that could be done. "I'll try to talk to him tomorrow, I promise. But tonight..." Calder shook his head. "It's not going to make a difference tonight."

A couple weeks passed and Relic continued to make sure Tanner was doing okay. Giving him the space he needed, and constantly reassuring him that he loved him. Of course, within that time, Relic also managed to find out who exactly it had been that dared to harm his love. The men were not going to last much longer. Relic was going to take revenge on them and make sure that they would never be near his Tanner again. He would tear them limb by limb and watch as they crumbled.

They were not that hard to find. They were beyond stupid. He found their hideout and wasted no time breaking down the door and trapping them with a few shots to their kneecaps and he easily went about tearing every single one of them a new hole - literally. He made sure they all suffered almost as much as his love, though he was sure they felt it was worse. He took his revenge and by the time he was done, they were bloodied and disemboweled on the floor.

Relic was out of the house, and while Tanner could imagine what he was doing, he really didn't want to know. Instead, the blond sought out Jupiter. He knocked on the doctor's door gently, waiting for an answer and only giving a sad little look when he had. "I... I need help..." It was so hard for him to admit, and he was sure that despite the words, Relic would think he was a disgusting human being when he found out. But Tanner could feel it inside of him. It was foreign and disgusting. "Please... Please I need to get rid of it..." The blond breathed a small sigh of relief when the doctor came back out and pressed a pill into his hand, though tensed with the words.

"Wait until Relic is home, Tanner. You will be in a great deal of pain, and he wants nothing more than to help care for you..." He nodded absently with a soft "thanks" and headed back to his room, contemplating whether or not he was going to follow the advice.

Relic came home before dinner, showered and cleaned up properly. He made his way into the house, making sure he popped his pre-prepared dinner into the oven and then walked up the stairs. He took in a deep breath and he moved up the stairs to the room. He gave a few taps of his knuckles on the door then walked into room. "Tanner? I'm home." He said gently, wanting the other to know he was home, but not at the cost of freaking him out.

He couldn't stand it. Tanner had taken the pill nearly two hours before and even though he'd heard Relic call out, the blond was curled on the bed with some of the most severe stomach cramps he'd ever had in his life. The blond was sweating, and groaning while holding his stomach and tears streamed down his cheeks. Why couldn't he have just died? It would have been so much easier, and less painful...

Relic gasped and ran into the room, over to his love. "Tanner?!" He gasped and pushed his fingers through his hair to look at his face then checked over a few things. "JUPITER!" He called out to the side, wanting him to get here now. He then turned back to his lover and he moved closer. "Oh honey. What's wrong? What... what happened? It's okay. I promise. They'll never hurt you again. Okay. I am keeping you safe. I'll always keep you safe from now on. Forever. I should have been there. It's okay. Jupiter will help."

Hearing his name, Jupiter rushed into the room only to skid to a stop. "Fuck! I told him to wait!" Shaking his head, he moved over and quickly got a wet washcloth and cool water. "Keep him cool. He...asked for help. While you were out. I told him to wait, that there would be a lot of pain and you should be here." The doctor checked his pulse while still talking. "It'll take about a day. I'd give him something to help, but it would counter act the...original medicine." Giving a small smile to Relic, Jupiter patted his shoulder. "He's going to have to wait it out, I'm afraid."

"Okay." He relaxed and moved to sit beside his love. He let his head rest in his lap and he continued to trail the cool cloth over his face, being sure he did all that he could to keep him cool and hopefully helping a little bit. "You'll be better soon, honey. Jupiter promises it." He kissed the top of his head, leaning away with a warm smile to his lips. "I am here for you. You're okay." He smiled and continued to push his fingers through his hair, doing all that he could think of to try and ease the pain. "I promise you everything will be better. It... It's just going to take some time."

Nearly six weeks had passed. There was a bit less self loathing, which made Tanner just a little happier during the day. And a little lonelier at night. He'd insisted that Relic stay in the spare bed, scared of waking up and becoming violent towards the man, or worse. Now, though, at three in the morning, Tanner was lonely. He looked down to the foot of the bed and sighed a little, weighing the options. He could crawl into bed with Relic. But what if he didn't want to the next night? The blond knew that all Relic wanted was for him to feel better and if he acted better one minute and not the next... He didn't want to disappoint his husband more than what he already had. But...Calder. Calder would understand. He slipped from the bed and tiptoed into the room next door. He could make out Calder's blond hair in the dim light and Tanner nudged his friend over and crawled into the bed next to him, but leaving enough distance between them.

Rune yawned softly when he felt movement in the bed, groaning a little. "Calder... tell the kids to go away..." He mumbled absently, leaning closer into his lover and nuzzled him a few more times before he looked over and saw Tanner. He stared at the male, arching a brow before he yawned softly. "Tanner... Shouldn't you be with Relic?" He murmured, knowing that his brother would freak out if he woke up and Tanner was not there.
