She flushed a bit and smiled. “Gio, good morning!”

"Good morning...Sereina..." His voice shook slightly and he cleared his throat, "Could I ask...why you were looking for shells...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Well, I make jewelry, charms, things like that.. and I sell them! I don’t make a lot but it keeps me fed..” she said with a smile. “The plants I use to make potions, tinctures, balms..” she flushed more when she realized she was rambling.

He seemed fascinated, despite how silly she may have thought she sounded, "An apothecary?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“N-Nothing so fancy, I know some alchemy, that’s all..” she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Even an apprentice apothecary is noteworthy." He said, "Your skills are highly valued."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Thank you very much..!” She said. Flatterer.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He felt his whole body turn hot and he looked down almost bashfully. "Do you require more reagents...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“I might, yes..” she said, moving back to her cart to check on her supplies.

He followed, stopping only a couple feet from her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She rattled off a few different herbs that she was out of, before climbing back out.

He took a step back, eyes sharp as he watched her, before he turned and walked off without a word.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She paused and watched him. He was so odd, but she found herself really enjoying his company.

He came back not soon after with the herbs she had mentioned, holding them out to her in massive bunches enclosed in his fist.

“O-Oh..! Thank you!” She said as she grabbed jars and pots and began storing them.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You're welcome.." He replied, watching her as she worked. Gods, what was this? Why was he so willing to do anything for her?

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Any luck with your fugitive?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Ah...no..." He replied, "But he couldn't have gone far...this is the closest body of water for miles.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She nodded. “You seem astute, I’m sure you’ll catch him..”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

His whole body nearly visibly trembled at that, "Th...Thank you..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Are you alright?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He gave a nod, "Just a chill."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She nodded. “Ah I see. Well, what about those shells?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He perked a bit and nodded before turning away slightly, "This way." He said and headed off.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She followed him, smiling to herself. For someone so large, he seemed surprisingly gentle.
