Katie nodded as she tried to stop crying. She was relived that he was ok but couldn't help but be worried after what happened with Kyle. She held him close before speaking.

"Would you like to go lay down on the bed?"
 
Roscoe heard her words and smiled, nodding slowly he stood up and made his way towards the bedroom. Pausing in the kitchen he got himself a glass of water drinking most of it as he spoke.

"Yes think that will help us both.."
 
Katie followed close, some what clinging to him out of fear that he'll collapse. She finished her water before going with him to the bedroom. She let him lay down before crawling in herself.
 
Roscoe was feeling a little better just being at home, his head rested lightly on the pillow watching her move into the bed. His words softly spoken .

"Hope Coco can adjust to these surroundings too"
 
"Yeah. I'm sure he'll be fine" Katie said softly as she looked down at the sleeping cat who was laying on his back and seemed to be at peace as he slept. She smiled at him before placing her head on Roscoe's chest.

"He's a good cat. He's fixed and declawed so you don't have to worry about him ruining any of your stuff"
 
Katie giggled as she returned the kiss on his cheek before setting back down and closing her eyes before she spoke.

"Good then. I'm sure he'll enjoy it here as well."
 
Katie sighed at his touch as she cuddled closer and fell asleep a few minutes later. She slept a lot better than before in his arms.
 
Roscoe's body fell into a peaceful sleep until later that night, waking his eyes glanced at the clock as he turned on the small bedside lamp. Noticing the cat curled up close to him too he smiled and moved slowly from the bed. Splashing some water on his face he put down some milk this time for the cat watching it drink it eagerly. Watching it for several minutes before yawning and heading back to bed.
 
Katie turned on her back when Roscoe left. She stayed asleep for a few more minutes before waking up and stretching then grabbing the remote and turning on the tv.
 
Roscoe returned to the bedroom to see her watching television. Sitting down on the bed his eyes glanced at the screen as he spoke.

"Katie you feeling a little better then"
 
Katie yawned and stretched again as he entered the room and sat down. She flipped to a comedy movie before she spoke.

"Yeah. What about you?"
 
Roscoe smiled at her words and covered his mouth as he yawned softly. Relaxing on the bed more he removed his boots and shirt along with trousers.

"Katie need some more rest to fully recuperate"
 
Katie just nodded and turned off the tv. She could use a few more hours of sleep herself. She sat up and stripped down to her underwear before sliding under the covers and soon she was asleep again.
 
Roscoe watched her fall asleep, his own body resting deeper into the bed as he felt the cat get back on the bed. Laying between them now he smiled and was soon asleep.
 
Katie slept until the morning light peaked through the window. She stirred and sat up then went to the bathroom to take a quick shower before she got started on breakfast. After toweling off and getting dressed she made her way to the kitchen, getting some food and water for Coko before getting started on breakfast for her and Roscoe.
 
Katie finished the eggs and french toast then started on the bacon. She put her share on a plate then placed the rest in the oven to keep it warm for Roscoe then got some juice before going to the table. She looked down to see Coko staring up at her. She smiled and patted his head before she went back to eating.
 
Roscoe stirred a little in his sleep one hand reaching out to her side of the bed, had the last week been all a dream as he sat up. His body shaking slightly and covered in sweat as he moved from the bed walking casually through the lounge towards the kitchen. Entering it he breathed a sigh of relief and bent down to softly kiss her cheeks.

"Something smells nice.."
 
Katie smiled as he kissed her cheeks "Yeah, it's in the oven" she said then took that last bite and brought her plate to the sink to wash it. She went back to the table to sip on her drink.

"How did you sleep?"
 
Roscoe walked to the oven, taking his food out and smiling. Taking a seat at the table he threw a small piece of the bacon to the cat.

"Slept better the second time, how about you"
 
Katie smiled at him then Coko and took a sip of her juice before speaking. "Yeah same here" she said then took the last sip and went to the sink

"So, any plans today or are we just going to take it easy"
 
Eating his breakfast he smiled across the table at her. Offering some more bacon to the cat and soon he was finished.

"Relaxing sounds good to me unless there is something you want to do"
 
Katie went back to the table then picked Coko up and placed him on her lap, lightly petting him.


"No, nothing. Relaxing sounds great"
