Roscoe heard her words , laughed then sighed as he took out a few shirts neatly packing them into one suitcase. His dress jeans were next along with another pair of trousers.

"Its about a thirty minute drive up the road , maybe next week"
 
"Really" Katie said happily as she sat up "That would be great" she went over and gave him a quick kiss "Do you have anything to read or something around here?"
 
He had just finished packing one suitcase when he heard her words and felt the hug and kiss, returning a soft kiss to her cheek and hugging her he spoke.

"Might be some old magazines and books in the spare room"
 
"Ok thanks" Katie said before heading out to the spare room. She looked around before she saw a book that might grab her interest. She went to the living room and sat on the couch as she started reading.
 
Roscoe finished packing both suitcases, carrying them out to his van and placing them in the back. Pausing on his way back he grabbed the other two suitcases and left them in the room for her to fill later.
 
Katei closed her book after sometime then went to get a drink "All set?" she said when she spotted Roscoe.
 
His mind had drifted, completely zoned out until he heard her words. Turning from the window he finished his drink and rinsed the glass out.

"Finished my own packing, you have yours to do later and that is set for the morning"
 
Roscoe heard her words and laughed softly, he knew he was correct as he took the time to walk back to his study. Thoughts turning towards the weekend almost constantly now as he set about on his next project.
 
Katie grabbed the suits case that he left for her and started packing, humming softly to herself.
 
As the next few hours passed he finished the project leaving it to one side , it would still need to be painted at a later stage as he stood up and stretched his back and arms. Smiling he walked casually from the study towards the bedroom.
 
Katie had fallen asleep on the bed after she finished packing. The suit case was by the door as she laid on the bed above the covers and still in her clothes.
 
Roscoe entered the room briefly to grab the suitcase, taking it out to the van before locking it for the day. Entering the house and then the bedroom he sat down on the bed and watched her sleep.
 
Katie sighed in her sleep then stirred as she woke up "Hey" she said as she yawn and stretched.
 
"Oh really? Ok" Katie said then kissed him on the cheek and rested her head on his shoulder.
 
Feeling her head resting on his shoulder he ran fingers through her hair and down her back, words barely audible.

"What you want for dinner later"
